Contrary to her son's belief, Narcissa Malfoy knew each and every detail of her son's life. Even his way of expressing himself . Although Narcissa knew that the act of cooking was beneath her son, she just couldn't stop him from doing so. Draco had never expressed himself freely and looking at the kind of food he had prepared told her about how he felt. Draco usually cooked simple , homely kind of food when he was happy or as it happened most of the time, content. His culinary brilliance ( which came from reading countless number of books and numerous evenings in the kitchen ) shone clearly when he was upset . The Malfoys had extremely fancy food for dinner pretty much everyday since he had joined Hogwarts, and he had made a sugar masterpiece after having the dark mark on him. ( She was thankful that her husband didn't pay much attention to food , it would have been hard to answer his questions but thankfully, they never came). This had resulted in Narcissa's immense hatred for fancy foods, especially if Draco was home. However, ever since Draco had come back from his Final year of Hogwarts, he hadn't made anything fancy , on the contrary, he had made simple , comforting food since then and Narcissa knew that it was all because of a certain brown-eyed girl for that. She had even forgotten that girl's past with them because of it and had been waiting for the day her son came home and told her that the girl of his dreams had accepted his proposal .
Finally, the day had come. Narcissa glided down the stairs and went inside the dining room, thinking of her son sitting there, a huge grin on his face. However, she didn't find him there , instead , she found the most amazing culinary masterpiece on the dinner table. Oh , how a certain bushy haired , brown eyed , mudblood was going to be punished horribly for breaking her son's heart.
