Quinn arrived home to find her mother in the kitchen cleaning as she always did before they had guests coming over, even if those guests were her own son and daughter in law who used to be the cause of the mess back in the day, she dropped her bag on the island before heading to the refrigerator pulling out a bowl of melon slices and two bottles of water.
"How was school today Q?" Shelby asked taking a break happily accepting the bottle Quinn held out to her.
"It was good, I managed to kick the newbies into shape and I got an A* on my English test which brings my GPA up to 3.4" she replied smiling when her mother grinned.
"I'm going to go shower then do my homework before Puck and Tanny get here with the monkeys" Quinn said as she kissed her mothers cheek heading upstairs.
2 hours later..
"NANNY, PAPPA!" Anya and Marius screamed as they charged into the house shoes and coats flying everywhere.
"Anya my little angel" Will cooed spinning Anya around causing her to giggle whist Shelby cuddled Marius close who loved his nanny.
"Anya Carmilla and Marius William, our shoes and coats do not belong on the floor, come and pick them up now" Santana ordered as she entered the room smiling as the kids did as they were told.
"Hi mom" Puck greeted kissing Shelby on the cheek before hugging Will, their relationship had gotten better over the years especially when Puck became a dad for the first time.
Rachel came running into the family room with Marius on her back squealing as she came to a sudden halt dropping him onto the sofa then pretending to jump on top of him, she ran over to Santana hugging the girl tightly before jumping into Puck's open arms.
"There's my little herbivore, I heard you got sent home from school, are you feeling better?" he asked looking deep into his baby sisters mocha brown eyes.
"Yes I am feeling better, I think I was just exhausted from all the Glee practises and homework" she replied putting on her best show smile that never failed.
Quinn sauntered into the room wearing a short summer dress that showed just enough cleavage that her brother and father wouldn't tell her to change, she smiled picking Anya up cuddling her close before patting Marius head, she hugged Santana avoiding the questioning look coming from her latina then launched herself into Puck's arms laughing, she missed him so much nowadays with how busy their lives had become they didn't really spend any quality time together like they used to.
The night went on as usual with the occasional hiccup of Marius refusing to eat or Anya trying to copy Quinn's attitude, after dinner the family relocated to the living room for games and a movie but small incident was about to ruin the whole night maybe even the whole week when Rachel accidentally tripped on her way back from the kitchen the bowl of popcorn she was carrying ended up all over Quinn who jumped up, spun around glaring at Rachel.
"You little dwarf, you did that in purpose" Quinn sneered getting in Rachel's face who cowered away.
"It was an accident I tripped over one of Marius's toys" she stammered walking backwards.
"Quinn stop it" Shelby scolded walking over to stand between her daughters.
"No she always ruins everything, I wish you were never born you little rut" Quinn spat her eyes fiery.
Rachel darted upstairs slamming her bedroom door ignoring her mother and Aunt who were shouting for her to come back but right now she knew what she needed, locking the bathroom door she dug through the cabinets until her fingers felt the cold touch of her razor blades.
She could hear yelling downstairs probably Santana and Quinn whilst Noah took the children out to the car as everyone knew family night was now over, Rachel crouched in the corner of her walk in shower as her hands shook viciously trying to keep a hold of the razor.
Slowly Rachel dragged the cold metal into the soft skin on her stomach relishing in the instant rush of relief that overcame her body as the crimson red blood cascaded down her toned stomach, her shorts absorbed most of the blood becoming more and more red with every wound that Rachel created.
She suddenly felt light headed which usually caused her to stop but this time Rachel was so upset and angry she continued to turn her once smooth tanned stomach into what could only be described as a show of her emotions, she didn't hear her mother banging on the bedroom door nor did she notice that she'd moved from her stomach to her thighs all she knew was she needed to stop the pain, the last thing she remembers was seeing her sister's face smirking and snarling in the mirror before everything went dark.
