Chapter 6

Harry stood on the command bridge of the Emperor's Flag ship as it raced through hyperspace. Around him the droids of the ship worked silently as they helped to maintain the massive vessel at the peak of condition. "HK, how long?"

The hunter killer droid turned its head, "Master I suspect that given our current course and without any interruptions that we shall be arriving within the next six standard hours."

Harry nodded and turned away before walking towards his room to run through his training exercises. He had been on the ship for three days now and boredom was quickly consuming him. While he loved studying the force and magic, he usually had human contact around. Even if he despised them at the present time, it was the simplicity of Hermione and Ron's company that helped get him by day to day. Even his master's company was better than being surrounded by droids all the time.

Arriving in his room he got down into the lotus position and placed his lightsaber in front of him. Closing his eyes and reaching out with the force, Harry slowly rose into the air before the force grabbed onto the weapon. The weapon slowly disassembled itself and floated around Harry in a steady circle. This was a simple mental routine that let him maintain the maintenance of his lightsaber while also exercising his mind.

A Jedi or Sith's lightsaber was an extension of themselves and it was the greatest honor to be given the chance to build one yourself. The only thing higher for a Sith was to be granted the title of Darth. The constant maintenance of his weapon made sure that it would be always ready and at the peak of performance. His lightsaber in specific also held two additional chambers for additional focus crystals to amplify and enhance the power of the blade. Harry's eyes opened and he focused on his synthetic crystal that was currently hovering in front of him. The gem pulsed lightly with power and sent a powerful and calming aura that surrounded and engulfed Harry. He smiled at it before focusing again in order to reassemble it. Slowly the weapon slowly rebuilt itself and came to a halt in front of his face before activating and revealing the black and purple blade. Harry stood up and gripped his weapon and swung it around several times before deactivating it and clipping it to his belt.

The dark lord then turned to his desk and looked over his plans for the fleet. At first he had thought about only building a max of one hundred dreadnaughts for the invasion of Earth, but the more he thought about it he realized that he would eventually come back to the known galaxy. This being a factor of the future made Harry decide to continue production of the fleet until he felt it was ready.

His master's personal files had records of all ships that had been used in the Sith Empire, from the massive Harrower Dreadnaughts to the small support class Terminus Cruisers. It even held records of the Republic and Mandelorian vessels, which Harry was going to make use of. The genius of the Star Forge would let him take the best of each vessel and combine them into one ship. Not that Harry would outright abandon the others, each ship was powerful in its own right and would go a long way to helping the Sith Navy rebuild.

For the time being each ship would be crewed by the massive army of droids that the foundry and the forge would create with only the flag ships being crewed by humans. This thought caused Harry to grit his teeth in annoyance. He needed to figure out a way to get man power for his invasion and he really didn't want to waste the resources that he and his master had on a clone army. When he had meditated on this the force seemed to calm him down and direct him to the Forge. Learning long ago to trust in the force, Harry simply pushed the feeling of worry away and waited to see what was going to happen.

*HPPIAL*

Several hours later, Harry was brutally thrown to the ground of his quarters by the ship suddenly lurching. Quickly running to the bridge, the Sith Lord looked at HK, "What the hell is going on droid?"

HK turned and his photoreceptors flashed in response, "Master it would seem that our ship has just entered a gravity well zone. We are on the outer portions of the Outer Rim and it would seem that this is an old shipping lane used by spice traffickers. My calculations indicate that we are being taken out of hyperspace by a pirate group."

Harry rolled his eyes at this and took over the command council. He quickly activated the cloaking device of the ship and then started to charge the cannons. Looking out the view port he saw that they were indeed leaving hyperspace and sure enough there was a large group of smaller ships with what was obviously an Interdictor class ship. The large gravity wells that ran on the top and bottom of the ship gave it away. What surprised Harry was the large vessel in the middle of the group. It was 700 meters in length and had a rather basic shape in terms of ship design and its color was a simple brown with a small tinge of red. The ship was a Mandalorian Cruiser a real powerhouse during the time of the Sith Empire. Whether or not it was now up to date was still to be seen. Harry waited a moment before the small force started to move into the direction of his ship. This told him that they had locked onto his signature and knew where he was. His suspicions were confirmed when a couple of the smaller ships fired off a few ion cannon round at him and they slammed into the base of the bridge.

The moment the ion energy hit the cloaked ship the massive vessel was revealed to the small pirate fleet. Harry smiled coldly as the quickly turned tail and started to make a run for it but they were already too close. "All cannons, open fire." The view port flashed a powerful red as turbo laser batteries, laser cannons, ion cannons, and heavy quad cannons opened up and fired at the fleeing group. With the first volley, three of the ships were blown apart by the massive amount of fire power. Several of the others were disabled as the cannons hit their engines. "Master shall we send out boarding teams?"

Harry was silent for a moment before shaking his head when the force alerted him to something. "Not yet." The Mandalorian Cruiser that was leading the group had turned around and was coming towards him. "HK forward shields at max power, divert power from rear weapons and focus all forward batteries on that Cruiser."

The droid quickly put in the commands and the dreadnaught groaned when the energies of the ship quickly switched. Just as the forward batteries started firing, the Mandalorian ship opened up with its own weapons. Blue laser blasts slammed into the shielded bridge and sent a powerful lurch through the area. "Master the enemy is firing at max capacity and slowly damaging our shields. But the multiple generators are keeping the shields up and running." Harry nodded as he observed the enemy cruiser. Each moment that went by the ship kept firing and drawing closer.

"They plan to board us. The rest of their fleet has left but the main ship intends to try and board us to gain control of the ship. When they are in range, lock on with tractor beams and bring them in." HK nodded and started to activate the commands into the ship. Harry only had to wait a few minutes before the enemy ship was caught in the tractor beams. By this point the ship's shields had been blown away and the superior weapons of Harry's dreadnaught easily ripped into the haul.

"Master I have two groups of droids waiting at the docking hanger for you. They are ready and to move on to the ship and eliminate all who oppose us."

Harry thought for a moment and the force rippled to him from the ship. "Capture alive if at all possible. These men could be very useful to me."

HK nodded, "Of course master…we shall capture the organics and avoid any…permanent damage." Smiling at the droid's attitude, Harry walked to the hanger and was met by the sight of thirty HK series droids with blaster rifles at the ready. "Capture all the men alive." The droids flashed their eyes in response as the smaller ship was locked into place and the walkway was extended.

The moment the depressurization happen the door opened and a hail of blaster fire came flying towards Harry and his droids. For the first time in his life the rush of battle filled him and the overwhelming sense of excitement filled him. His droids activated their personal shields and rushed forwards to return fire. Harry stood towards the back of the battle and waited as his droids quickly pushed back the defending pirates, who despite being relatively well armed, were no match to the superior tech that was the HK battle droid. Harry smiled as he finally walked into the Mandalorian Cruiser and stopped to look at the body of one of the pirates. To his surprise he found himself looking at a man who was wearing armor that was obviously based around the Mandalorian's of his master's time. This told Harry that the ancient warrior race was still around and possibly still as blood thirsty as ever.

The sounds of battle filled his ears and the force was quickly becoming filled with the emotions of the crew from the ship. It ranged from confidence and determination to fear and hopelessness. The Sith Lord basked in these feelings as he walked forward until he became locked on a single entity within the ship. On the bridge was a single being who oozed confidence and leadership. He was determined and also felt strong loss whenever he received word that another of his men was killed. This was strange to Harry since most pirates rarely cared for anyone but themselves.

His thoughts were broken when he rounded a corner and came face to face with three of the pirates, all who were wearing the same armor as the fallen warriors. They raised their blasters and prepared to fire, "That's far enough stranger, you have a lot of shit to answer for." The anger in the man's voice caused Harry to smiled darkly from within his hood, "Are you referring to the men my droids killed? Such a waste really, but you did fire upon me first." The same warrior snarled from within his helmet,

"We may have fired first but it will be you who is the last to die." He quickly fired off his rifle and along with his two comrades, sent a hail of blue plasma bolts towards Harry. Willing the dark side around him, Harry quickly and easily dodged the first wave but when the second came he flicked his hand and his lightsaber sprung into his palm. A snap and hiss was heard as the deadly blade sprang to life and quickly repelled the oncoming blaster bolts. The three men gasped and one spoke up, "Jedi!"

Harry's eyes narrowed at this but pushed the comment into the back of his mind as he rushed forward using the force to accelerate his attack. A quick slash to the middle man and he crumpled to the floor with a massive gash across his chest. The other two men had only a moment to register what happened before they two fell to the lightsaber.

Harry glared down at the three bodies, "I'm far from a Jedi." He moved his weapon to his right hand and continued down the hall that led towards the bridge.

*HPPIAL*

Hermione Granger was beside herself as she threw herself down onto the couch in the Gryffindor common room. For three days Harry had been missing and no one could tell them where he had gone. At first, she and her friends had suspected that he was using the Room of Requirements to be by himself but when he didn't show up to their dorm or classes, they began to worry. What confused Hermione was that none of the staff members seemed to notice or care that Harry was missing. When she had gone to Professor McGonagall the elderly witch simply stated that it was none of Hermione's business. This only infuriated her more. As per Dumbledore's instructions, she was suppose to be digging into Harry's life but this was impossible when the person of interest was nowhere to be found.

The teen girl sat up and growled in frustration which caused Ron to pale lightly. Despite the fact that he came from a family where tempers were common, an angry Hermione Granger was something that he still feared. "How can no one know where Harry is? He was here three days ago but now we can't find a trace of him."

Ginny nodded, "I asked Professor McGonagall and all she said was that Harry's business was his own."

Hermione growled again and gripped her hair in frustration, "Merlin….they know something."

Ron was oddly silent but then finally spoke up, "I don't know if this will help but what about the Veela girl?"

Hermione looked at her friend, "Fleur?"

When Ron nodded he continued, "I have noticed that she has been looking at him a lot the past few weeks and she even followed him in the direction he would walk the past one."

Ginny raised her eyebrow at her brother, "How would you know?"

He blushed deeply, "I thought she was looking at me but when I saw her eyes follow Harry I knew otherwise."

Hermione was silent as she thought about her previous encounters with Fleur, "Now that I think about it Fleur came to me before the first task and seemed rather concerned with Harry's wellbeing. I tried to ask her more but she always stopped short of what I was guessing to be the real answer."

Ginny pulled out her homework and started to write down some notes, "What could Harry be trying to keep secret? Obviously he has been training, but there isn't any place within the castle where he…." Ginny's eyes widened, "The Chamber."

Her friend and brother looked at her, "What?"

The redhead grew very still, "What if Harry is using the Chamber of Secrets to train in. He is the only one that can gain entrance to it so he would be able to work in peace."

Ron spoke slowly, "Even if that were true, why wouldn't he be returning to the dorm at night?"

Ginny added on to her earlier statement, "According to the legend, the Chamber wasn't simply a place for Slytherin's monster…there was also an area for him to live and work on his dark magic. Truthfully from what I remember, there very well could be a living area down there, it expanded the entire length of the castle and even into the Dark Forest."

The three teens were silent before Hermione spoke up, "I wonder if there is a way to fool the chamber into letting us in. I mean, we have all heard Harry speak parsletongue before."

Ron and Ginny looked at each other before nodding, "I guess it wouldn't hurt to try, worse that happens is that the entrance doesn't open."

A snort of amusement caused the three teens to look over at one of their classmates who was sitting near the back of the common room. "You three really seem to have trouble understanding when someone wants to be left alone."

Ron glared at the young man, "What are you talking about Neville?"

The fourth year Gryffindor shook his head and rose to his full height of 6' 4". While his robes didn't show it, summer had been very good to him and the formerly pudgy teen was built like a rock thanks to some hard work. It also helped that he had gone through his magical maturity a week after school let out. "It's obvious to everyone accept you three and Dumbledore that Harry wants nothing to do with you. I don't know if it is because of your history or that he is trying to be nice but he has dropped subtle hints all year. I realize that Dumbledore has told you to dig into his life but I would recommend that you do the opposite. Do you really want to make someone with Harry's kind of power angry?"

Hermione went into her full stuck up mode, "Honestly Neville, you speak as if you know Harry better than us. No offense but you hardly say anything to him each year so what makes you the sudden expert?"

Neville closed his eyes and mentally counted to ten to calm his growing annoyance and anger, "I am simply calling it like I see it Hermione. Being an outsider you notice people's emotions and are much more observant. I can tell from the way Harry acts that he is tired of you guys. He is much more preoccupied with something that is…shall we say more important than you."

This shocked everyone who was listening. The Neville Longbottom they remembered from last year was meek and shy but this one oozed confidence and a hidden power that demanded respect. It was at this moment that many of the girls in his dorm started to see the teen in a new light.

Hermione looked surprisingly hurt at this, "Harry would never abandon us…he needs us."

Neville shook his head in annoyance and walked towards the boy's dorm. He stopped just short of the stairs, "He needs you or do you need him?" Neville then walked to his room, leaving a stunned common room behind him.

*HPPIAL*

Harry stood upon the bridge of the Mandalorian Cruiser and was looking straight at the man in charge. Behind him were several other pirates who were wearing similar armor, all with their weapons drawn and pointing at Harry and his HK droids. The man stepped forward and addressed Harry, "I must admit when we set plans for a raid today I didn't expect to pull a warship out of hyperspace, let alone a Jedi."

Harry seethed at this but forced his face to remain neutral, "You have killed many of my brothers in arms and as much as I want to kill you I think holding you for a high ransom will do us better. Now, I will ask you once, who are you and what do the Jedi want out here."

Harry's anger hit new heights at being called a Jedi and the arrogance of the man before him. His droids sensed his distress and raised their rifles at the men, "Shall we eliminate them master?"

Harry shook his head and drew his lightsaber, "No, I'm going to enjoy this." Igniting the blade he got into his default saber stance and waited for the man to move, "Rather bold for a Jedi but I have found that you all are different." He paused and chuckled, "No matter though, it's always a pleasure to meet a Jedi."

He quickly drew his twin blaster pistols and started firing in rapid succession at Harry who expertly deflected the bolts away. Bringing his blade around, he swept it and sent a bolt back at the man who was forced to tuck and roll to the right. This gave Harry the opened he wanted and he rushed in making a short sweep towards his upper hip. He rounded at Harry and brought his leg under him and clipped Harry by the ankle. As he was about to stumble, he sent the force out and leapt over his target and landed behind him. Bringing his lightsaber around in a sharp turn, Harry collided with the man's gauntlets which much to his surprise held out against the blade, "You'll have to do better than that Jedi."

Harry hissed at this, "Fine." His left hand flung forward and a powerful stream of force lightning slammed into the man and sent him flying. He grunted in pain and cried out as Harry intensified the power. Behind him, the other pirates raised their rifles to aide their leader but the Sith Lord was fully immersed in the dark side.

He stopped the lightning and flung both hands down and sent a massive blast of energy to the floor, sending everyone flying. His droids quickly fired off bursts of stun rounds that knocked the men unconscious. Harry turned his attention back to the captain and brought his lightsaber to the man's throat, "I am not a Jedi, pirate scum."

The man coughed roughly from the remaining effects of the lightning, "I see that now Sith. I'm shocked to see one of you after supposedly becoming extinct." This made Harry's eyes widen slightly, something had happened to make the galaxy believe that the Sith and their ways were gone for good. His master would need to know right away, it was almost too good to be true that the galaxy had forgotten them yet again. "Truthfully I'd rather see a Sith than a Jedi anyway."

Harry looked down at the man, "Why is that?"

The man pushed himself up, "You don't dance around the truth. You are direct and take the necessary action that is needed. Our ancestors worked together because of that simple understanding."

The Sith Lord looked at the man and connected the dots, "You are Mandalorian." It was spoken as a statement rather than a question. The man nodded and stood up when Harry let him, "I am Mandalore the Redeemer, chosen by my men and former leader to redeem our people and return to our glory days."

Harry tilted his head in acknowledgement, "I am Darth Sovereign, chosen apprentice of my master and future leader of the Sith Empire."

Mandalore looked at him with silence for several seconds before finally speaking, "Well Darth Sovereign, even though I hate to admit it you have bested me in combat. This gives you the right to kill me and take the title from me."

Harry looked at the man before him and then deactivated his lightsaber. "I have no desire to kill a worthy warrior as yourself. If you are willing, I could use someone such as yourself to help glorify our future."

Mandalore looked to his unconscious men and then back to the Sith Lord before him, "What can you do for us?"

Harry smiled darkly, "I can assume that since you are so far from Mandalorian space that you are not welcome there, especially one with your title."

Mandalore nodded slowly, "We aren't welcome there for very stupid reasons. The current leader, Duchess Satine has led a campaign of pacifism and tarnished my people's reputation. My men and I are outcast because we believe in the true ways of the Mandalorian, the reason we are in the Outer Rim is because I have been working to gather the men that are loyal to my name and retake our home. The downside is that there is another group that is causing issues, they believe in acts of terrorism and deception instead of honorable battle."

Harry gestured for him to continue, "They are called the Death Watch and they are trying to get the people to submit by darker means. Their leader is named Pre Vizsla and he is cunning, strong, and a good leader…everything a mandalorian warrior should be, but it is his lust for battle that makes him so unstable. The Death Watch was formed when my predecessor was declared Mandalore of the true mandalorians. Their leader at the time didn't believe in the same ideals and this led to a civil war between our factions. Eventually our leader was slain and I killed theirs in return. That didn't stop the Death Watch from surviving and they have returned to Mandalorian space in order to carry out their own agenda. They aren't strangers to infighting and have hindered their growth because of it."

Harry spoke quick and precise, "Will the people follow you?"

Mandalore looked at him and nodded, "Without a doubt. If Mandalore returns and calls to his people then they will answer. The only big threat is the current government. The Duchess and her allies have instated a no violence way of thinking. She believes that Mandalore should be its own independent system but without any military aide from the Republic."

Harry's eyes narrowed, "The Republic still exists?"

Mandalore nodded, "Why wouldn't it? It's been standing for thousands of years."

Focusing his hatred at the thought of the former Sith Empire failing, Harry cleared his throat, "I don't know…just took me by surprise is all. I have been, away, for a long time."

Mandalore nodded in acceptance, "You still haven't told me how you plan to help us."

Harry turned to his droids and motioned for them to return to the ship, "I can provide the recourses and materials needed to wage a campaign that will leave the Republic in flames. Mandalore will be a feared word in every language and I only ask for your loyalty to the Sith when we make our return."

Mandalore thought it over for a moment before he turned to his men, "I want to speak with my men. We have families that we have to think about and I would never force them into anything. I will say this however, that if you provide us the means and help, then you already have given one hell of a down payment."

Harry smiled lightly before he looked out the viewport at the damage his ship had done to the Mandalorian Cruiser, "I must apologize for the damage to your ship but if you are willing to follow me…I can repair it or even better...give you a new flag ship."

Mandalore looked over his ship before nodding at Harry, "Lead the way."

The Dark Lord of the Sith smiled darkly from within his hood and offered his hand, "Let this be the beginning of a very fruitful friendship Mandalore." The warrior looked at the offered hand before he reached up and pulled his helmet off. The face that was reveal was strong and handsome. His hair was short and cropped in a military style cut. Near his right eye was a single scar that was from a deep cut that only emphasized his dark eyes.

Mandalore gripped Harry's hand and nodded stiffly, "I look forward to it Lord Sovereign…and the name is Fett, Jango Fett."

Back on Earth, Darth Vitiate opened his eyes from his meditations and smiled. He stood up from his desk and looked out the window in the office that once belonged to Lucius Malfoy. The window overlooked the main atrium of the Ministry of Magic and Vitiate could see the hustle and bustle of the day. His apprentice had made an alliance with the current Mandalore and this would be very useful in the coming months.

Now that Lord Sovereign was doing his end of the deal, it was now Vitiate's turn. As Lucius Malfoy he had the Minister's ear and this would go a long way in helping the current state of things. On his desk was a law that Lucius was planning to pass. The law looked like a basic tax law that would help stimulate local economies but the underlying areas gave power to the pureblood families to make decisions in regards to future events that were classified as, 'emergencies'. The law was very vague on what were considered emergencies and this was the real power in the law. So long as the purebloods voted together then everything would work in their favor. It was obvious to Vitiate that Voldemort was making preparations for his return but his plans would be used for the Sith agenda instead. A knock at the door caused him to turn and see that the Minister himself walked in, bowler and all.

Minister Fudge smiled widely at Vitiate and walked towards him, "Ah Lucius my friend I was hoping you were in. I wanted to discuss your law that was submitted earlier in the day."

Vitiate nodded, "Of course Minister what can I do for you?"

Fudge sat down in a chair and sighed, "It is some of the wording within the law. While I see the uses of the tax, I am worried that some of our outsider families might not approve of the severity of the tax."

Vitiate nodded in understanding, "The tax may be high initially but in the long run it will even out once the stimulation is felt within our economy. This will also put more funding in your campaign account for when reelection comes around."

This caused Fudge to smile widely, "Yes indeed it would. I'm glad we cleared that up my boy, I suppose the people can live through a little struggle if it helps us in the long run."

Vitiate nodded and waited for Fudge to leave before his smile turned into a frown of derision. "I will enjoy listening to your screams when your time comes you fool."

He looked out again at the people moving around below, "Our time is coming, the Sith shall return and this time….we shall remain for all time." The force whirled around the Sith Emperor and caused his eyes to glow with power as he basked in its powerful embrace.

*HPPIAL*

Just outside the system known as Rakata Prime a massive space station hung eerily against the backdrop of space. From the three massive fins at the base of the station was a large stream of energy that slowly rose from the star below. The fins went up and in the middle of the three fins was the main interior, a large sphere. This massive space station was known as the Star Forge and it was a technological marvel. Upon closer inspection one would notice that there was a large ring of ship and space debris that was slowly rotating in the gravitational pull of the station. Small doorways would open and with tractor beams, pull resources in and utilize them to build its ships and armies. The debris was from the many space battles that had taken place in and around the system over the millennia.

In addition to being a massive factory it was also a conduit for the dark side. Anything related to the force that came within range would slowly become corrupted by the overwhelming power of the forge. This was the case with an entity that was slumbering deep within the forge.

Long ago he was once a powerful force user but had fallen victim to the darkness. He had risen to become a great and feared leader of a growing empire only to taken down by his former master and claimed by the darkness. Now, centuries later he was stuck here in the very weapon he had tried to claim. "And in the end, as the darkness takes me, I am nothing."

This phrase haunted his very being for all time and no matter how many times he tried to find peace, he was unable. He was destined to be imprisoned by the dark side for eternity as punishment for his deeds. The entity looked up with haunting eyes at the nothingness of the empty forge, "You were right Revan, I alone could not control the forge, it was only you, the true Dark Lord. I only wish I had listened to you."

A jolt in the force caused the spirit to look out of the window and see a massive ship that he hadn't seen in a long time. A Harrower Class Dreadnaught was coming within range and was clearly making its way to the docking area. The power of the dark side screamed from the ship and it overwhelmed the spirit who became instantly hostile towards the oncoming force.

"None shall take command of this station, I will destroy any and all who come."

Chapter 6 is up and running my friends.

Not much to say other than let me know what you think about me including the Mandalorians into Harry's plans.

As always send in ideas and reviews.
