Chapter 9

While his master was planting the seeds of corruption and anarchy, the apprentice was currently slowly swaying with his own pupil wrapped in his arms, much to the amusement of many who watched. Fleur had her head placed upon Harry's chest as the music flowed and helped propel their bodies around the dance hall. Her Veela magic hummed in pleasure at being this close to her master and her rational side was trying to process just how fast things had happened. Never in a million years had she expected to find someone who would resist let alone dominate her Veela side, yet here she was. Shifting so she could look up, the young Sith smiled as she met her Lord's glowing green eyes, "What thoughts are toying around in your pretty little head my apprentice?"

Fleur smiled coyly, "Just my own perverted thoughts milord." She giggled when Harry rolled his eyes, "I'm just thinking on how fast things have moved in the past few months. I arrive at Hogwarts expecting to have a rather boring year aside from the Tri-Wizard Tournament but I end up finding something infinitely better."

Harry ran his hands over her back and then led her in a graceful spin as the music increased in tempo. "And what would that be my dear apprentice."

Fleur smiled as she felt completely in harmony with her Veela nature, "I have found peace." Their dance stopped instantly and Fleur looked into Harry's eyes to see them brimming with power and a cold glare that threatened to consume her, "Peace is a lie….there is only passion."

Fleur instantly regretted her choice of words, "Milord I…" An invisible hand snaked its way around Fleur's throat just enough to let her know that her time to speak was long gone. Harry pulled her body flush against his and despite her curves forming perfectly to his body he tilted his head so he was speaking in her ear, "Did you learn anything when you trained with Lady Traya? Or have my initial suspicions been correct? I will not be made a fool off in the eyes of my master, apprentice."

To accelerate his point Harry channeled lightning into his hands, sending gentle but effective sparks into Fleur. Her eyes widened, "If you are doing this because you cannot control your base emotions then I have no use for you Fleur."

Harry let her go and straightened his robes before turning and walking towards the drinks on the far side of the hall. Fleur retained her graceful appearance but inside she was in chaos….what had just happened? She was just feeling content and she then utters words of the Jedi code? Shaking her head she walked out of the hall to get some fresh air to clear her head and figure out a way to make it up to her master.

Harry stood against the wall of the Great Hall watching the crowd as they danced and processed what had just happened. It wasn't so much that Fleur had said the word peace, it was nothing more than a word and if he was honest with himself he felt more peaceful than ever since he had become one with the dark side….it was the backlash from The Emperor that he feared. Vitiate was anything but a kind mentor and he held each and every action in judgement…who wouldn't when you are trying to raise up the ruler of an entire galaxy. Fleur would have been killed the moment that word had been uttered and Harry would have been punished severely. The only reason he would appear at school the next day was to uphold appearances and that would be done with the glamor charm since again….his master was not forgiving.

The Dark Lord snorted in amusement as his nerves pulsed in pain from the ritual and the fleeting question of regret came into his mind. Did he regret the path he was on….not one bit. Harry had learned very early in life that if he went on regretting any kind of decision it would hold him back from becoming better and Vitiate had helped him with this mindset. There were many times in life that he could have come to regret but his Master had shown the wisdom with each situation and how the outcome had bettered the young Sith. So….what was the wisdom with this situation with Fleur? It showed that she was indeed one with the dark side and that her alignment was set. It showed that her Veela nature had selected Harry as its compatible and this meant that her loyalty was for certain. And if Harry was yet again truthful with himself, having an apprentice as sexually appealing as Fleur, completely loyal to him did present certain…bonuses. This thought caused his hormones to come to life but the Sith closed his eyes and willed the force around himself to destroy these thoughts. He couldn't let lust control his mind or he would certainly fail in everything he attempted. His thoughts were broken when a shout broke the chaos of the dance and prompted Harry to look over towards the tables in the corner of the room. He rolled his eyes when he saw it was Ron and Hermione who were in another vocal dual with Ron waving his arms around like a moron. Harry was about to turn away but when Ron's finger was thrust towards him he stepped forward to intercept.

As he neared the argument he started to make out the words that continued to be flung around with such venom that the students around started to move away. "You are flirting with the enemy….who actually has a back up to a dance?" Hermione was red faced in anger as she challenged Ron, "I did Ron and it wasn't like I had planned on it. Victor asked me to the dance before Dumbledore tried to have me go with Harry. If anything it was because of Dumbledore that this whole thing has ended up like this."

Harry's eyebrow quirked in question, 'Did Hermione actually question Dumbledore?'

Ron's glare hardened, "Leave Dumbledore out of this Hermione….he is the only one besides my family who are trying to prevent Harry from becoming a Dark Lord like You-Know-Who….I thought you were helping but maybe the paper was right and you have a taste for famous wizards."

The air around them dropped several degrees and Hermione mouth was agape like a fish before her eyes welled up with tears. In anger the normally calm bookworm brought her hand back and struck Ron across the face sending him flying out the Great Hall doors. To anyone else that saw this they figured a wandless banishing charm from anger…but to Harry it was so much more.

His eyes widened and then he groaned, "Just what I need….another one."

Hermione walked over to where Ron was standing up and pointed her finger at him, "Don't you ever speak to me again Ronald Bilius Weasley….I can't believe I ever let you convince me that Harry was in the wrong with all this. Your words are more poisonous than a Basilisk's venom and I hope you rot in hell."

Hermione then spite in Ron's face and started to walk away but Ron's growl in anger caused her to turn around. His wand had been wiped out and he was about to cast a spell when suddenly he froze on the spot and was lifted into the air. His hands rushed to his throat and he turned to see someone he wasn't expecting….Fleur Delacour with a glare of hatred upon her normally calm face and her arm stretched outwards in a gripping motion. Thankfully they were away from the main hall and didn't have to worry about anyone seeing them immediately.

"That is enough Mr. Weasley…I do believe that Hermione requested you to leave." Fleur's eyes were aglow with power and Harry was idly surprised at the development. "You are not to go near her again Mr. Weasley or I will bring you into a world of suffering that you can't escape from."

Ron gave a struggled gasp and Fleur tightened her grip with the force and was about to crush the life out of him until a commanding voice spoke, "Enough apprentice."

Fleur's eyes widened at the sight of Darth Sovereign watching from a corner and quickly dropped the redhead before looking between him, Hermione, and her master. "Milord I…."

Harry looked at her with indifference, "Silence." Turning to Hermione Harry saw that she was trying to process what she had just seen before her eyes widened and she struggled out to speak, "How long have you been using the dark arts Harry?"

The Sith Lord sent a glare at Fleur before turned to Hermione, "I will answer any questions you have Hermione but for the sake of our friendship let it be after the holiday."

Hermione was about to protest but when she saw the sincerity within Harry's eyes she relented, "Ok Harry…I want answers the day classes begin later this week." A short curt nod was all she received before she looked at Fleur who seemed to be shaking slightly, "Thank you Fleur." Hermione turned and walked away and to her room within Gryffindor Tower.

"Move apprentice." Fleur quickly heeded her Master's command and started walking to the second floor bathroom that they met at so many times before with him hot on her heels. They arrived and after he sealed the doors with locking and silence charms he turned on her. "Harry I don't know what happened back there….I was thinking about my mistakes from earlier and happened to overhear the Redhead's treatment of Hermione. While I don't know her that well she has always been nice and shows sincere care for you. When he said the things he did about her I….I saw red and acted on that anger."

The Veela was numb as the dark side pulsed through her body and she realized that she had just about claimed a life out of anger. "You feel it don't you Fleur?"

She looked up expecting her mentor to be filled with anger and rage but he wasn't…his eyes showed understanding and wisdom. "You know that your emotions give you strength but there is so much more to the force than simply feeling. It infects everything it touches and gives a connection that flows to you. What does it mean to be a Sith?"

The Veela was silent as she thought about her answer but never got the chance as Harry spoke. "From our wound bleeds our memories…our names….our ambitions…we tasted oblivion and it drowns us."

Harry turned to Fleur and let the dark side role off of him as he spoke, "So many glory days that slipped away from us….so much history because we forgot what it means to be Sith."

As he spoke, the force wrapped Fleur in its grasp and she felt almost euphoric, "Peace is a lie, there is only passion….through passion, I gain strength….through strength, I gain power….through power, I achieve victory...through victory, my chains are broken…the force shall free me."

The force was raging around both Master and apprentice as he continued to utter the words of the ancient code. Fleur felt herself become overwhelmed and started speaking with her master. Their voices flowed as one before Harry's eyes snapped open, "The words of the Sith Code. Others had heard them, contemplated them, and so on. But I understand them, and they have changed me. For what was I before I heard those words? Nothing."

He looked down at Fleur as she saw new meaning within the dark side. "This is what it means to be Sith my dear apprentice, the freedom the force gives you and the power to achieve the freedom you desire. So many eons have been lost because the Sith Code was looked at as only words that held a fragile religion together when it was the very fabric of our being."

Fleur stood up and nodded, "I understand master." Harry waved a hand over the sink leading into the depths of the Chamber of Secrets, "Come…we have much to prepare for."

The rest of the holiday went by without much interference from anyone outside. Harry upped his training with Fleur and was very pleased with the improvements. After consulting with the holocron of Darth Traya, Harry came to the conclusion the he would have to approach Fleur's training slightly different.

Traya explained it to him like this, "You assume that just because Fleur has chosen to be Sith that her training is going to be the same as yours. That is your failing to not see a broader picture. Tell me child the classes of Sith."

Harry was silent for a moment before answering, "Marauder, Juggernaut, Assassin, Sorcerer, Lord….and now Seductress."

Traya shook her head, "I should have expected as much….child you are thinking too general…what of the other classes? Philosopher, architect, Interrogator, Alchemy….all Sith have a specific class that they move into and their training is adapted accordingly. Look at yourself, you are the chosen class of Assassin yet you are being trained at a level that would normally kill an initiate because you are the Emperor's apprentice and are being groomed as heir of the Empire. Your apprentice is the first of her kind, a Sith Seductress, it is only natural that she embraces her natural given talents of being a Veela. What does her magic force her to do?"

Harry thought about it, "It basically controls her looks as well as her physical and emotional love life. It restricts her from engaging from any kind of love life until she finds a match that completes her magically…and from what she has said to me, her magic has chosen me."

Traya nodded, "As such her feeling complete or as you put it, peaceful, was only natural." Harry's eyes narrowed, "Do you realize what the Emperor will do if I have an apprentice that speaks of the Jedi Code?" Traya rounded on Harry, "And yet this same Master tells you to follow the teachings of Darth Revan and his knowledge of the light side. I think if anything it is you who needs to reevaluate your thoughts child."

The Sith Apprentice rolled his eyes at the thought of Traya's words but at the same time…couldn't help but wonder if she was right in regards to his own thought process. As for Fleur's training Harry took the advice and sat Fleur down to decide what would work best. She was surprised that her Master wanted her input but ultimately answered, "In all honesty Master it would be to…shall we say…explore our relationship. My Veela magic is screaming at me to submit to you in all ways possible and it makes things difficult at times."

Harry looked at her and was silent for a moment before speaking, "Fleur you know as well as I do that a relationship with me would be dangerous not simply for the upcoming war but the fact of who our Master is."

Fleur looked up, "I doubt that the Emperor would care…in my readings of the old Sith Empire I found multiple times where Sith Lords had lovers and even families." Harry was silent for a moment. Fleur wasn't wrong but then again how would it look to his Master if the two of them became intimate. The idea was more than appealing but with a Master as powerful and cruel as Vitiate one couldn't simply assume. Harry was growing frustrated at this and looked at Fleur, "I need time to think on this. I will have my answer soon, but for now we have another issue to attend to…our meeting with Hermione."

Mandalore the Redeemer walked with purpose out of his personal ship, The Slave I, with two of his guards in stride behind him. The raging thunderstorm around him pelted his armor with rain and instantly drenched his cloak that hung from the back of his armor. The small group didn't break stride as they reached the doors and they opened for them. Turning the corner they were met by the sight of a tall yet frail being with a bald head, large alien eyes, and white skin. The being stopped a short distance away from him and inclined its head, "Jango, welcome back…I trust the mission was a success?"

Jango inclined his head, "Fairly…Taun We, I need to speak with Lama Su immediately about a few items of importance."

The female Kaminoan turned, "He is in his office at the moment going over your latest combat holobook."

Jango started walking, "I can find him, have Boba brought to my room please." Taun We nodded and slowly walked to retrieve her charge."

It only took Jango and his men a few minutes before they arrived at a large set of mechanical doors. Leaving his men to stand guard, Jango walked into the office of the Prime Minister of Kamino and tilted his head in greeting, "Lama Su, a please as always."

The white being looked up and a ghost of a smile graced his almost none existent lips. "Ah Jango it is good to see you back safe and sound. Rumors of the Death Watch in the area had us a little worried."

Fett removed his helmet, "I'm hard to kill….I need to speak with you about making a few changes to my payment."

Lama Su tilted his head, "Is it the money? I assure you we can give you more if you want….we have been instructed to provide you with anything you want."

Jango shook his head, "I actually am going to say I want less and receive something else." When Lama Su didn't reply Jango spoke up, "I want you to create a separate army for me out of my DNA as well as other that I am going to provide."

This caught the Prime Minister's attention. "A second army of clones, may I ask why?"

Jango had previously thought about his response, "My men and I have long been away from Mandalorian soil and it is time for us to return and make the Mandalorian's a name to be feared. My people will once again control all of Mandalorian space and anyone who would question my right to rule…will burn."

Lama Su saw the fire within Jango's eyes and nodded slowly, "It can be done but how do you intend to fund such an army?"

Jango reached into his pocket, "In addition to cutting my pay down by fifty percent, I have this credit chip linked to a private dump account that my…investor has set up. Each planetary rotation the sum of 25 million credits will be deposited….any interest gained from the funds will be given to your government as a donation."

The Kaminoan thought about the proposal for a moment, "I assume that this army is to be kept hidden from Lord Tyranus?"

Jango nodded stiffly, "Indeed. Tyranus and the Republic have no concern for internal Mandalorian affairs. I also want several new training modules implemented with the new clones…first and foremost is the removal of order 66, it has no use in my men."

Lama Su nodded, "A most peculiar order indeed, why the Republic would have a safe guard against the Jedi is beyond me…it isn't in their nature to go against the peace."

Jango was silent as he had his men hand over the training programs, "I will be remaining here for the time being to work on Boba's training, I would like you to get the first batch of clones flash grown as quickly as possible without risk to their function…after this, stop all flash growing completely, the clones are to have a normal life span once they are grown."

Lama Su nodded and made his notes before looking up, "Anything else Jango?"

The Mandalorian nodded, "You can modify aspects of the genetic structure correct?"

The Prime Minister nodded, "If you mean things like gender, eyes, hair, and basic outside appearance, yes…I'm guessing you would like a variety within your forces?"

Jango nodded, "When things settle down, my men will be able to move into life with us…they won't be forgotten simply because there are no wars to be fought."

Lama Su smirked, "A noble gesture to be sure."

Jango put his helmet back on, in truth, he wasn't telling the Prime Minister that the bulk of the army was meant for the Sith but that was of no concern, Darth Sovereign already was showing that he was a man of his word, the Mandalorian Fleet was already forty percent complete and each day the Star Forge continued to spit out ships at a faster rate….oh yes, soon the galaxy would face the combined wrath of the Sith and the Mandalorians.

Albus Dumbledore stood over his desk looking over several documents that he had created in an effort to try and figure out Harry's sudden change, behind him stood Severus Snape, Hermione Granger, and Remus Lupin. "I fear that Harry's shift may be more drastic than we first thought…Hermione, are you sure he was using the dark arts?"

The brunette took a shuddered breath, "I'm not sure Professor, it was evident that Fleur was using some kind of strange magic but when Harry reprimanded her it was with authority and command. Fleur was even referred to as apprentice."

Remus' eyes widened, "Is it at all possible that Harry is teaching his elemental magic to Fleur?" Snape was silent for a moment, "Headmaster, while I would have normally doubted Potter's abilities in anything, the past few months have proven that something is indeed different…perhaps we should let Miss Granger go to this meeting. If we are to determine what Mr. Potter is up to and what events he intends…it might be best, for the time being, let them unfold."

Hermione stepped up, "I'm not afraid Professor Dumbledore, Harry would never harm me."

Albus turned, "I agree with Severus, but I am concerned Hermione that Harry may be too lost to the darkness. If you do this I want to place several monitor charms upon you, they should be undetectable by anyone with only a school education."

Hermione thought it over for a moment before nodding, "What if Harry reveals that he is learning the dark arts?"

Remus answered, "Then we will do anything within our power to remove him from Lucius care and bring him back." Albus nodded in agreement before starting to cast his spells on Hermione.

*HPPIAL*

"You are certain of this?"

Harry looked up at his Master, "I am Master. Knowing Hermione like I do she would have reported to Dumbledore and they are most likely working on a plan to monitor our conversation."

Vitiate slowly walked over to the window and looked out, his back to Harry and Fleur, "Let them hear it…they will not outright come for you my apprentice, they will come for me. Those fools are blinded by their loyalty to the light and will come to severe our connection. What they will find thought is me." The Emperor turned with his eyes glowing, "They will be bent to my will as servants and slaves…they will watch this world fall apart and be powerless to stop anything."

Fleur spoke up, "Milord would it not be beneficial to look into turning Hermione to our cause? Her loyalty to Harry rivals that of Sirius and it could be useful...she has many connections within the other houses that could lead to disciples."

Harry rose from his kneeling positon and looked to Fleur, "As beneficial as it may be you are still in training Fleur, I don't believe taking many potential adepts would be useful right now."

The Emperor's eyes drilled into Fleur's blue one as he looked her over, "Your apprentice has a point Lord Sovereign. There are many within these halls that have loyalties to you simply because of your social status. If you were to feed their hunger for certain aspects then turning them would be easy. The more disciples you have when the planet is invaded, the easier it will go for the ground forces. A single Sith Warrior is worth ten normal soldiers…even more when it comes to wizards."

Harry nodded, "I will meditate on this. For the time being I need to bring Hermione into the fold."

Vitiate inclined his head, "And how do you intend to do this?"

Harry smirked coldly and withdrew a holodisk. Clicking the disk, a large image of the greater galaxy appeared, "By feeding her lust for knowledge. If Hermione finds out that there is technology and knowledge far superior to Earth's, she will be drooling. Her loyalty to me will only assist with this."

The Sith Emperor nodded before waving his hand, "You had better get to it then…our time grows short, if what Lucius' memories revealed is true then the false Lord Voldemort will make his final move at the end of the Tri-Wizard Competition."

Harry looked up at Vitiate, "What of Fleur's inspection."

The Sith Emperor was silent as he looked over the witch, "Do you think she is ready?"

Harry turned to Fleur and saw that she was silent and brimming with confidence. "In all honesty no…I have only been training her for a couple of weeks and you have had an eternity, but, we can't have time being wasted with the invasion of Earth to commence."

The Dark Lord nodded in approval, "And what of your thoughts girl? Do you agree with your Master's judgment of your abilities?"

Fleur visibly gulped at this, "I don't know Milord. The force is all so new to me and the powers that I have been given are still hard to grasp but I believe that instead of fighting my true nature, when I embrace it I will have better access of them."

Vitiate looked at her with his normal void like eyes and then waived his hand and several large pillars formed out of dark side energy. The pillars were made of the blackest obsidian and thudded when they hit the ground. "Move them."

Harry backed up and left Fleur to the Sith Emperor's judgment. Fleur raised her arm and focused on the pillars. Reaching out with the force, she sensed the energy that flowed through them and focused on it. Willing the force to her command she started to lift the pillars but only a slight movement was seen from the pillars.

Vitiate raised his eyebrow, "Is this all? Perhaps my own apprentice needs to be trained more."

Fleur began to feel the worry of failing this task grow within her. "You are right to fear me…you are right to fear failure. Failure will lead to your death and everything you have ever know will follow suit."

Fleur gapped, "It is so hard." This came out as a struggled gasp as she attempted to lift the massive pillars. Vitiate looked to Sovereign and nodded his head.

Harry raised his hand, "The only reason it is impossible is because you have deemed it so." A torrent of violet lightning erupted from Harry's hand and slammed into Fleur, causing her to cry out in pain. A moment of this torture was all that happened before Vitiate spoke, "Lift them."

Fleur growled out as another blast of force lightning hit her and caused her to collapse to the ground. She closed her eyes in pain before gasping, "I can't…"

Vitiate didn't respond, he only took Harry's place and fired a much more powerful burst of lightning. "Weakness…that is what you show when you give in to the delusion of something being impossible, you are nothing more than a blind insect and if you don't adapt…you will die in the same way."

Fleur's hatred of the Emperor rose within her, "I hate you."

Vitiate smiled coldly, "You do? Good…now prove to me that I don't need to kill you."

Fleur's hatred grew and she unleashed a wave of force energy as she yelled and rose off the ground. The four large obsidian pillars rose into the air and Fleur felt the sense of euphoria that she had during her sessions with Harry. Vitiate was silent before waving his hand and the pillars disappeared in a cloud of dark side smoke. Harry simply looked at his Master as he silently surveyed Fleur as she struggled to stand after the onslaught of his powers.

"Even a new initiate is unable to lift a pillar yet you just lifted four. You have proved to me that you have ability child….whether or not you have the ability to use and direct it is another story."

The Sith Emperor turned and walked away from the two younger Sith and out of the classroom they had been using. Harry walked over and stood next to Fleur, "I'm impressed, if I'm being honest, I wasn't expecting you to survive this. My Master isn't one who is known for being understanding. He once killed his entire council because one member had tried to use Darth Revan's arrival to destroy him…her mistake."

Fleur slowly pushed herself up, "How does one defend against such power? Even you yourself said that you can't defend against the Emperor's power."

Harry was silent for a moment, "That is something I have yet to find myself apprentice. The force is able to shield you from some abilities but against powers like that of the Emperor…one would have to find power similar."

Fleur took a shuddered breath, "That could take years."

Harry snorted, "Try more like around seven thousand years…the Emperor was around 1300 years old when he invaded the Republic during the Great Galactic War, it has been roughly five thousand years since then."

Fleur gapped at this, "How?"

The Sith Lord smiled, "That my dear apprentice is something you are not ready to understand."

Harry walked to the door and looked to Fleur, "Come, we have a meeting with a new asset."

Fleur slowly walked with Harry until they reached the seventh floor. There they stopped at the entrance of the legendary Room of Requirements or the come and go room. It gave the user a room fitting of their desires if they only walk in front of the tapestry three times. Doing just that, a door appeared to Harry and Fleur.

Grasping the handle, Harry opened the door to reveal not only Hermione, but Neville Longbottom and several other students.

Harry's expression turned from shock to anger as he glared at Hermione. The bookwork grinned slightly, "Hey Harry….ah…surprise?"
