A/N: I'm sorry for such a long hiatus. I really had wanted to write more, I promise! It's been 2 years and I'm a sophomore in college now...A lot has happened since I started this! I honestly don't remember where I was going with this, but whatever. On to chapter 7!

BANG.

BANG.

BANG.

"Hn." I open my eyes and look at where the pounding is coming from-my bedroom door. Before I can get off my bed, the door swings open. I see a pinkette rush into my room. She gives me a confident look and goes straight to my closet. "Before we spar, I want some new clothes. I need to get used to them if that's what I'll be wearing during our battles from now on."

"I thought you didn't want to wear my clothes?" Her face becomes a tinge of pink, but she continues what she is doing and then closes the closet door. "I can sow, right? I will just change it to fit me. That shouldn't be difficult." I pause to think about whether or not she can actually sow. I don't honestly know what she did in her spare time besides drool over me in our childhood, and I wasn't there for the past few years to know now. I wasn't there.

"..."

"Sasuke, I had a dream last night." She says absentmindedly. I look up at her. She has her back to me, but she then turns around and smiles at me. "I think it was a memory from our childhood, but I'm not sure." Oh no. My heart thumps against my chest. I freeze, but she continues talking. "I think it was the first time I met you. Something about...a festival in our home village. We were talking on a pier by the water. Do you remember this, Sasuke-kun?" I take a breath.

"...Yes. It was the annual festival. You ran away crying and we met at the pier." She nodded her head. "That's what was in my dream. I think that's when I started liking you, too." She twirls a strand of her hair and blushes even more. I stand up and grab her hand. "Come on, Sakura. Let's go." I drag her out of my room.

I was racing to my pier so that I wouldn't miss the beautiful sunset. Just before I got to it I noticed a girl with beautiful pink hair in a red kimono sitting by the edge. I sneak up behind her and watch the sunset like I do every other afternoon. "...That was pretty." I say while staring at the spot where the sun had just disappeared. I look down at the girl, then frown at the tear that was on her cheek. I reach out my index finger to wipe it away, but she jerked away from my finger. "S-sorry..." She croaked. She sat there silently for a moment, so I decided to sit next to her.

"Aren't you missing the festival?" She fiddled with her kimono before answering. "Uh-uhm..yes, but I got lost from my family. I-I couldn't find them, and somehow I ended up h-here..." I watched her face as she talked. "Oh." I say.

"W-why aren't you at the festival?" I cross my arms and frown. "My father is away on a mission, and my mother is watching my brother be the best Uchiha in the village.." I paused for a second and looked at our surroundings. "I didn't wanna go alone, so I came here. I like it here." I slip off my sandals, then dip my feet into the freezing water. I could sense her watching me and then she did the same.

"So..you are an Uchiha?" I smile. "Yeah! It's great!" Before I could say anything else, I hear adults cry out a name. "Sakura!" She quickly picks up her sandals and runs somewhat clumsily to her mother and father. I watch the trio walk away, hand in hand. "...Bye." I mumble as I turn back around to face the still water. I let out a sigh. I sit there like that for a few hours before getting up and going home, and I couldn't help but look up at the blossoming Sakura trees alongside my path.

"Sasuke, where are you taking me?" Sakura tries to make me let go of her hand, but I keep my grip. "Hn. I'm taking you to the place where we have a seamstress. Even if you can sow, I don't want you risking it...You'll stab yourself a million times while trying. I've also already had someone working on something for you." She relaxes. I try to let go of her hand, but she intertwines her fingers into mine. I keep my calm so she doesn't see past our facade, but I honestly didn't mind. Ugh. Don't get attached. Tell her the truth. I shake away my thoughts as we get to the door, and I open it with my free hand.

"SASUKEEEE." The seamstress frantically waves me over to her working desk. The room is lit by hundreds of lights placed in spots to create an intricate design on the walls. Although a tiny room, it held a huge sewing machine and a lot of fabrics for clothing. As we get closer to her desk Sakura lets go of my hand. I'm left with a fading trace of her warmth. "Ooooooh, Hi, dear. You must be Sakura. Sasuke told me weeks ago that you needed some new clothes, and I'm just about finished. They should be ready in time for you to practice today. Want to try them on?" Her words topple out of her mouth as quickly as she thinks them up. "Uhm, sure. Thank you,ma'am." Sakura bows to the older woman, who waves her hand dismissively. "Darling, no need to do that. It's my job. I've done everyone else's tailoring for years. And you can call me Chitose." The woman grabbed Sakura's hands and shook them gently, but firmly. "Now here are your clothes. I have a secret door over by that wall. Right-now just pull on the candle to the left right there-ah, yes, that's it. Smart girl." Sakura made the door spring open and walked into the cramped space. Now alone, the woman and I look at each other. "She is a pretty one, Sasuke. I don't know why she is here, but I hope you keep her around." I frown.

"...She doesn't deserve to be stuck here." I simply say. Before Chitose could speak what else was on her mind, Sakura shoved the door open. "What do you think?" She sheepishly asked. Her new shirt was the same color as mine, but was styled like her original. The back had my Uchiha crest. She had pants on similar to mine except to her knees. She still wore her boots. Chitose had even given her a smaller version of my purple obi to wear around her waist. The seamstress obviously wanted Sakura to be associated with me. I give Sakura an approving nod. "Ooooooooh! Sakura, you look great! I hope you love it as much as I do!" Chitose swooned over her own work. Sakura smiled at the woman. "Thank you." I take Sakura's wrist and lead her out of the room. "You can just drop off her clothes into her room, Chitose." And with that, I closed the door.

I don't even care when Sakura slips her hand into mine as I take her to our sparring room.

A/N: Thank you for sticking with this for so long! I hope it wasn't a disappointment. If anyone would like to help me with the fighting scene in the next chapter that would be great. I've never really tried writing an action scene. ^^;

I hope to write more often. :) Please review!
