CHAPTER 5:
Tsunayoshi woke up from his long and deep slumber. His eyes opened slowly and he was blinded by the lights so he closed them again. He felt numb and his body felt very heavy. He could hear commotions going on around him but he doesn't have the strength to raise his head and look.
Somebody forcefully opened his eye and pointed a small flashlight in it.
"…okay, sir?" the doctor asked.
"What?" Tsuna asked. His voice sounded rusty. His throat felt try.
"How do you feel?" the doctor asked again.
"My body feels… heavy…" he blinked to clear his vision and look at the brunet standing over him who was wearing a white labcoat.
"That's normal. You've been asleep for the past six years after all."
"What?"
"Do you remember who you are? What's your name? Where are you from? Do you have a family?"
"I'm Tsunayoshi Sawada-Hibari. I'm from Namimori. I have a husband and a daughter… Wait, asleep for the past six years?! What do you mean?!" Tsuna felt panic rise up his chest as he slowly remembered what happened.
"The owner of this hospital found you at the beach that he owns in an island six years ago. You were bloodied and you had gunshot wounds all over you but fortunately, you survived. It's just that you were in a state of coma."
"What… what a-about my family?"
"Well, since we didn't know who you were, we couldn't possibly search for your family. But now, we can ask the boss' detective agency to find your family." The doctor said with a smile. "Seriously, kid, you're tough. Most victims that had suffered trauma wouldn't be able to talk like this for about three to four days yet but you? Wowzer!"
"Who is your boss?"
"His name is Alaude Hibari. Wow, now that you mention it, you have the same surnames! Are you related?"
Tsuna shook his head. "I don't know. Maybe he and my husband are related. What's your name anyway?"
"Just call me Basil. It's nice to finally meet you, Tsunayoshi-san."
"Tsuna is fine."
"Tsuna then."
Tsuna was reading one of the books Basil lent him when a man entered the room. He was shocked because the man who stood before him looked like Kyouya except for his grayish blond hair.
"Hi, I am Alaude. I was the one who found you six years ago. It's good that you're awake now."
Tsuna smiled at him. "I am really grateful that you took me in even when you didn't know who I was."
Alaude smiled back at him. He opened the folder he was holding. "I had your family searched by my detective agency and they had been found." He looked at Tsuna. "Now I know why my brother ran away from his wedding."
Tsuna stared at Alaude. "Pardon?"
"Kyouya Hibari is your husband, right?"
"Y-yes."
"He's my brother. He was supposed to get married eight years ago but he ran away and we never heard anything from him again. I didn't try to search for him coz if I did, I'd find him for sure and he'd despise me even more."
Tsuna simply stared. "I never met my husband's family coz they had a feud going on but if you found Kyouya, may I know where he and my child are? How are they? Is… is he married?"
"They still live in the house you bought for your wedding. Your kid is smart and pretty well-known and they're both doing well. And yes, he's married." Alaude answered matter-of-factly.
Tsuna couldn't help but feel the pain in his chest. Tears started to form in his eyes and they started flowing continuously.
When Alaude saw Tsuna's tears, he panicked but he didn't show it outside. "Kyouya is married to you, of course." He said calmly.
Tsuna stopped crying. "Huh?"
"That brat is too busy with his work and your kid to have time to have a date. Besides, if I know him well—which I pretty much do—he's still in love with you. So you better hurry up in improving your state so you can follow them in New York."
"I thought they were still living in—"
"They're in New York for an investigation."
"So he still continued being a cop?"
"Pretty much plus your kid is helping him with his investigation too."
Tsuna smiled. "I hope to see them soon."
"London is a great kid as it says in this report."
"It's Brix." Tsuna corrected.
Alaude couldn't help but chuckle. "Who gave her name anyway? London Jorrielle Brix. Weird."
"We thought she was a boy before she was born. She's made in London. Your brother wanted to name her Jorrielle and I wanted to call her Brix and we couldn't agree on one name. When she was born, your brother was the one who decided on the name. He knew I'd be extremely pissed at him if he didn't name her Brix even if she was a girl instead of a boy so he just gave her the whole package."
Alaude chuckled again. "Oh, well. She's one of the most famous kids nowadays, you know."
Tsuna smiled again. "Then I guess your brother did a great job raising her."
You are very welcome to kill me now.
