This is another update. I hope you'll like it.

The team has been ending up with dead ends and they were left with annoyance and irritation towards each other. Reborn saw that somehow, the members of the team hadn't have a decent night's sleep for days. He also saw JB sleeping on the couch, refusing to stay in the hotel without her father. For 4 days, she has slept on the couch without complaint.

Reborn tapped Hibari's shoulder and earned a frown from the skylark. "Bring your child to your hotel. She needs to sleep properly and so do you," he explained.

"But—"

"The case won't go anywhere. You need fresh minds in order to see other angles. Come on, don't argue with me about this."

Hibari nodded and carried his daughter in his arms, covering her with his coat gently. Houston walked out with them as he was also staying in the same hotel. The usually noisy detective was quiet due to exhaustion.

"See you tomorrow, boss," Houston said as he walked past the father-and-daughter's suite.

"See you," Hibari mumbled. He opened their hotel room and gently lay his daughter on the bed and covered her with the soft and comfortable blankets after he removed her shoes. He went to the bathroom and had a hot shower to wash off most of the grime and exhaustion he was feeling.

Hibari woke up in the morning with the scent of coffee and bagels. He opened one eye and saw his daughter sipping her milk and eating bagels and some fruits. "I had some room service, dad," she informed him with blueberries in her mouth.

Hibari grunted as he sat up and looked at the bedside clock. 8:15 am. He still had time to prepare. He kissed his daughter and took a bite of bagel. The first sip of coffee was like heaven for him. He moaned as he felt the first kick into his system.

Father and daughter frowned when there was a knock on the door.

"I'd kick his ass if that's Houston," JB said, thinking that her father's partner was disturbing their little father-and-daughter breakfast time.

Hibari shook his head as he opened the door.

His whole world stopped. His heart beat, his breathing, they all stopped. His hands and whole body trembled as he stared. Stared at the face of the man he loved for years. Stared at the face of the mother of his child.

He could feel the blood on his face drain.

"J-Joe…" he mumbled, thinking—but knowing in his heart that it wasn't Joe—that Joe had something to tell him.

Tsuna shook his head as tears showed up. His lips trembled and so did his hands. He wanted so bad to touch his husband but he knew that he had shaken Kyouya up big time. "Kyouya…"

Kyouya didn't know what to think or do. His life was turning upside down in front of him but he couldn't do anything.

"Dad, who is it?" JB asked and pushed through to see who it was and a huge, huge smile bloomed in her face. "You're not Joe. You're my mom!"

Tsuna trembled even more as he stared at his child. She was so big already. He had missed a lot. Her first steps, her first words. He missed all those. He knelt in front of her and lay his hand on her face. "Brix…" his voice hitched and he couldn't stop it anymore. He embraced her as tightly as he could as if he'd lose her again. "Oh, my God… Brix… my baby… my baby…"

Kyouya continued to watch as Tsuna showered JB kisses. He looked up and saw Alaude. He snapped up and walked towards his brother and slammed him against the wall. "What are you doing here?"

"Kyouya!" Tsuna's voice was still shaky but it held power under it. "Alaude helped me find you."

Kyouya looked at Tsuna. He didn't know what to feel. Anger, happiness, sadness… everything merged inside him and he chose anger. He grabbed his daughter away from Tsuna. "If you think you can just dive into our lives again without explanation, think again." He pulled his child into their room and slammed the door into Tsuna's and Alaude's faces.

He ignored JB's sobs and pitiful looks towards the door.

Tsuna knocked on the door. "Kyouya, open this door if you want an explanation!"

Kyouya sat on the bed beside JB, not knowing what to do either.

"Kyouya!" Tsuna's knocks becames bangs, showing his impatience.

JB was quiet, not wanting to upset her father even more. She just sobbed quietly until her father finally opened the door for her mother.

They all sat around the small table. JB sat on Kyouya's lap and snuggled against him to calm him down a little.

"I found him a few years ago in the island," Alaude started to explain.

Kyouya just continued to stroke JB's hair without looking at Tsuna or Alaude.

"He was wounded and unconscious. He had bullet wounds. He was barely alive when I brought him to my hospital. Comatose for more than six years and quicker to improve than most of our patients. He remembered his name and yours so I had you searched." Alaude watched his younger brother. He knew damn well how stubborn Kyouya could be and looking at his niece, he wouldn't be surprised if she's stubborn too. "So I brought him here to you."

Kyouya kept quiet but he observed his daughter's reactions. He saw how much she looked at Tsuna. He saw the wanting in her eyes and he couldn't possibly break her heart. He patted her butt playfully. "Go."

JB looked at her father and grinned brightly at him. "I love you, daddy! You're the bestest Daddy in the whole wide world!" she said before kissing him and running to Tsuna.

Kyouya sighed and watched her kiss and hug Tsuna lovingly. He called Reborn and asked him for one day off and was immediately granted.

Alaude left TSuna with Kyouya and JB. The mother and daughter tandem sounded happy as they took a bath together, leaving Kyouya watching TV alone.

"Let's go shopping!" JB said while they were getting dressed. Tsuna was dressing her in a white skirt and white shirt, something she never wore but wore anyway because she wanted to please Tsuna.

"Sounds like a great idea!" Tsuna agreed but still looked to Kyouya for confirmation.

Kyouya sighed and nodded. "Sure, why not?"
