Chapter Six: Memory

I kept staring at the picture in total fear. The picture of the girl was none other than Alice herself. It had to be her. She looked like a nice, little girl with long dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, and wore a black bow. This could be her all along. Shocked from all of this, I slowly fell on the floor while my laptop poofed away. Alice then snickered at me.

"So you finally figured out the truth, huh!?" She smiled.

"I-it can't be…" I spoke up. "You're actually one of the s-students—"

"Yep!" Alice said proudly. "I'm not just one of the students! I'm the one who caused the fire and killing spree at the school!"

My eyes widened in shock once I heard what Alice said. She was the one who caused all of this. The one who killed many innocent lives. I then spoke up. "B-but why!?"

"Why!?" Alice then laughed until she made a terrifying glare. "IT'S BECAUSE THEY DESERVE IT!" She then went back to smiling normally. "Those heartless bastards deserved what they had done to me…at the play!"

Wait a minute… "W-what do you mean play?" I said.

Alice snickered. "Oh, you really want to know what happened!? Well then, grab some popcorn and enjoyed the show!"

Alice poofed out a screen projector as the "movie" started to play…

(START FLASHBACK)

Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Alice Littel! She was a sweet, caring girl who loved fairy tales! Every day after school, she would always read her favorite book, Alice in Wonderland. She loved everything about it! Alice, the white rabbit, Wonderland, everything! Whenever she sees poker cards that resemble the Red Queen's guards, she would always beg her parents to buy the cards! And when she sees a doll that looks like Alice, she would always wanted to get one!

One day, at her school, there was going to be a school play on Alice in Wonderland! Alice was so excited about this that she wanted to play Alice, the main character. In fact, Alice looked similar to her! The long blonde hair, the black bow, the blue dress, and those gorgeous blue eyes! The play was until May 31 and she practiced doing the role of Alice.

But during that time, Alice discovered something that she wouldn't dare see at her very young age: death. One day, little Alice was reading her book along with her two parents, when suddenly, the news went on about something Alice shouldn't have seen.

"Last night, a young woman escapes from the local mental hospital downtown as she kills a family of four at Johnson Avenue. The woman, however, committed suicide…"

Little Alice turned to her parents. "Mom, Dad? What was that all about?"

Her parents looked at each other nervously until her mother said. "Well dear, that's what bad people do."

"Really?"

"Yes dear!" Her father said. "Like the Evil Queen from Snow White, like how she wanted to get rid of Snow White. That's what an evil person can do to you."

"Oh."

"But, Alice, don't really look up on that. That's somethings you shouldn't know that much. Understand, dear?"

"Yes, Mom."

But little Alice didn't kept their word that night, when she searched up about killing on her computer. She was amazed by what she was seeing. Images of people getting killed, bruised, and so much more! It was certainly unpleasant to look at! However, Alice didn't felt like vomiting. She felt calm that she was seeing something new. Something she's not supposed to know until she was older. But however, Alice learned more about how to kill. Like using a knife, and even a gun.

Alice had enough of this for one day and went to bed.

Monday, the play auditions were set and Alice couldn't wait to get the role of Alice! Once she showed the drama teacher her performance, she was proud of her and planned to put her in the play. But however, all of it was ruined when Little Mimi Walter came in. Alice always hated how Mimi was always perfect. She was great at every subject, handwriting, and even singing. She was just too perfect. Mimi performed at the stage, saying the lines of Alice. The drama teacher loved Mimi's performance that she decided that Mimi would get the role of Alice and not Alice herself.

Alice was enraged by what she had seen. It was Mimi who stole her role. It was always Mimi who gets everything. It was ALWAYS her. Once Mimi encountered Alice backstage, she pushed her at the floor and gave out a laugh. Alice didn't bothered crying, she just stared at that fiend in rage. Silent rage…

At home, Alice told her parents what happened as they gave her pity for what she was trying to do. However, Alice didn't even care about their pity. All she was focused on was Mimi…

The next day had gotten worse for Alice. At recess, Mimi and her two friends came across Alice sitting at the tree, reading her favorite book. Alice looked at them and glared.

"What do you want, Mimi?" Alice groaned.

"Oh it's nothing Littel!" Mimi chuckled. "It's just that we wanted to congratulate you in taking part of the play! As some lousy card guard!"

Mimi and her friends laughed until Alice growled in rage. "Stop it! It's not funny!"

"Oh, be quiet, Littel!" Mimi teased. She then turned to her friends. "Guards, off with her head! Ahahahaha!"

WHACK!

Mimi's friends gasped in horror when Mimi fell to the ground. Next to her was Alice's book, stained with a little blood. It was Alice who threw the book at Mimi's face. And because of that, Mimi sobbed in pain. She received herself a bloody nose. Mimi's friends quickly took Mimi back inside the school, to tell the nurse what happened.

But Alice, meanwhile, didn't even cared! She just wiped the blood off her book and continued reading anyways.

However, that didn't went well at all once Alice was in trouble for hurting "poor" Mimi. And because of that, she was banned from the play, received detention for the week, and finally, gets grounded by her parents. Alice tries to defend herself anyways, but her parents didn't care.

"But, Mom and Dad! She deserved it! I wanted her to stop!" Alice defended.

"I don't care dear!" Her mother said. "You shouldn't have done that! You know what was truly wrong!"

"I don't care!" Alice screamed. "She made fun of me! She just a mean, cruel girl! She's deserves to DIE!"

Alice was then slapped on the face by her mother. Shocked by all of this, Alice gave her a glare and ran upstairs to her bedroom. Alice's father saw what happened and comforted her.

"Honey, you shouldn't have done that." He said.

Her mother had tears in her eyes. "I know. It's just that, I don't want her to be like this dear! I didn't mean to slap her. I just didn't want her to be upset with us!"

Alice heard the conversation upstairs and went back to her room. She was banned from using the computer as well, but she didn't care as she went on it. She then thought about what her parents said. Were they really trying not make her mean. She then realized that she was slowly becoming a villain. Like those bad people from her favorite fairy tales. Those bad people die for good reasons, so why can't they have their own happy endings? Alice then searched up more about killing as something formed around her mind. What can she do to plan this?

The next day, after school, Alice was walking herself alone to go back home. While there, she comes across a TV store that features a person killing another. It was one of those films her dad likes where the hero always defeats the villain by somewhat killing him or her. Alice wanted to be like the hero and wanted to defeat the villain, who she imagined was Mimi. Alice then thought of something. She wished Mimi would just go away, like she would actually die, and never come back! An idea formed around Alice's head as she thought of a horrible idea. Revenge…

When Alice went back home, she discovered more ways of her discovery on her computer, she thought of something evil and corrupted, that she wouldn't dare to tell anyone about it. She knew what her plan was. So she took her favorite Alice costume with her, packed a few items, and was ready to put her performance into action…

On Friday, Alice was forced to stay in her room by her parents, since it was the final day of her grounding. But however, Alice didn't even bother as she put on her Alice costume and slowly opened the door. There was no one in the hallway, so the girl tiptoed to the stairs. She then heard a voice.

"Alice?"

Alice turned around as she faced her father. "Alice, what are you doing out here? And why are you dressed like that?"

"…"

"Listen, sweetie, you have to back to your room or else it's another week."

Alice didn't answer again.

"Okay, fine." But when Alice's father marched into her, something else happened.

SLICE!

Her father looked down in fear as he was stabbed in the stomach by a knife. The knife that belonged to Alice. Alice then grinned madly. "Oh be quiet, you sack of shit!"

"A-Alice!?" her father stuttered.

"OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!" Alice screamed.

Alice continued to stab her father multiple times until she reached his neck. Her father screamed so loud, that it was heard from her mother. When Alice sliced his neck off, she stabbed it harder than before until the head came off. Alice smiled in delight as she gave out a laugh. Suddenly, her mother came upstairs.

"Honey? Is that you? Where's Ali…" She stopped once she noticed something on the dark floor. She then looked closer as it was her husband's head.

The mother screamed as Alice walked up to her, covered in a few blood stains.

"A-Ailce, dear! W-why—"

"Why did I do this!?" Alice laughed. "Well I'll tell you why, mommy…IT'S BECAUSE YOU'RE A FUCKING BITCH!"

Alice brutally pushed her mother down the stairs. When she fell down, her mother felt like she couldn't move. When she sees Alice coming down the steps with the knife at her hand, she tries to get up, but her legs felt broken. So, she was about to craw until her own daughter kicked her.

"Where are you going, mommy? Aren't you going to apologize?"

"A-Alice sweetie, w-why are you doing thi—AAH!" Alice kicked her mother again, but this time on her head.

"BECAUSE YOU AND DADDY DIDN'T CARE! YOU DIDN'T CARED ABOUT ME WHEN MIMI BULLIED ME! YOU WERE ON HER SIDE, NOT MINE'S!" Alice screamed and continued to kick her mother. "YOU DIDN'T EVEN BELIEVED ME! IT'S ALL YOU AND DADDY FAULT!"

Her mother tries to speak up. "S-sweetie…please—"

"SHUT UP!" Alice yelled. "Because I don't want you to be near me anymore!"

Alice pulled out the knife. Her mother's eyes widened as she was about to go away, but suddenly, she was stabbed at the stomach by Alice. She screamed in pain as Alice continued stabbing her in the chest until the screams became lower and lower. Finally, her mother twitched until she stopped moving. Alice then laughed in glee as she grabbed her items and left the house.

When running into the empty neighborhood, she spotted a taxi driving by.

"Taxi!" She shouted.

The taxi parked next to her as she went inside. "Take me to Abraham Elementary, please!"

"Sure thing, sweetheart." The driver said in a tired New York accent. "Say, how old are ya?"

"I'm 12!" She lied.

"12? Well ya kinda look a little too young to be 12. Are ya sure your tellin' the truth—"

"Continue driving, please." Alice said politely while hiding her impatience.

"Uh, okay then." The driver then turned to the road.

Ten minutes later, they arrived at the school. And since it was the night of the play, almost the entire parking area was crowded.

"Aw shit." The driver cursed. "It's too full."

"Don't worry sir, we can park near the woods!" Alice suggested. She knew where to go.

"Well alright."

The driver drove the taxi to the forest area and stopped the car. "Okay, this is it."

"Thank you sir!" But before Alice could go, the taxi driver stopped her.

"Hey wait, aren't ya gonna pay? I mean you do have to pay for the ride you know?" The driver demanded, his hand waiting for change.

Alice smiled darkly. "Change? Oh sure, I'll give you some change." She then pulled out her knife with a wicked grin. "Here it is!"

The driver shrieked as Alice went up to him and began to slash his eye out. He screamed in pain as the stabbing continued from his chin to his neck. All things went quiet once Alice got out of the taxi, humming. But what she left behind was a bloody mess.

She knew where her next step would be. The play was still going and wouldn't end until 9:30. That gave her enough time to continue her plan. Alice spotted the schoolyard shed near the woods. The groundskeeper had banned anyone who would ever enter it. That's because he kept his weapons in there. Ranging from guns to knives. Only Alice knew about this when she was in hiding and she felt that they were perfect to use. And since the groundskeeper won't be here for the rest of the night, it was perfect timing.

Once Alice made it to the entrance, she broken the lock with her knife and opened the door. The shed was filled with gardening tools and papers, but she needed the real stuff. She spotted a chest at the end as she opened it and found the secret weapons. Alice didn't really knew how to wield a gun, but she has to anyway if she wants to get back at Mimi, and those who bullied her throughout the year.

She grabbed the nicest, looking gun she'd ever seen. It was almost big and looked like it would be pretty heavy for Alice. But she didn't care. She wanted that gun.

So she hold on to it and discovered all of the bullets that came along with it. It was too perfect. Once she had all she needed, Alice went out of the shed and into the school…

Alice quietly opened the heavy doors of the entrance and entered the empty hallways. She heard something from another room. It was obviously the play still going. She didn't have enough time left. Alice know that if she went to the main entrance, she would be spotted. So she remembered of a hidden door that would lead to backstage. It would be risky, but she had no other choice. She went her way to find the door deep in the hallways. Once she found it, she quietly closed the door.

She was in! She was finally here! She could finally show them that she is the true Alice! All she had to do was to get to the stage and reveal herself. But suddenly she spotted the drama teacher, preparing the children for the next act. Alice knows how that will go. The part where Alice meets the Queen of Hearts herself. This would be a perfect opportunity to appear. But first, she has to deal with someone first.

The drama teacher walked away to get something where Alice was secretly following her. Once she stopped, she felt someone was behind her and received herself a trip to the floor. She looked up to see Alice, holding her knife and grinning. The teacher was about to scream until Alice slashed her neck, causing her to lose blood and fall to the floor.

Alice smirked. "That'll teach you, bitch!" She whispered.

Once that was finished, Alice made her way to the stage, while hiding her items. It was finally time to shine…

"And who are you!?" Shauna said. She's Mimi's friend, and is playing the role of the Queen of Hearts.

"Well my name is Alice, your majesty." Mimi said, acting as Alice.

"She's not Alice!" Alice then appeared at the stage, shocking the actors and even the audience, as they murmured in confusion.

Alice then pointed at Mimi. "And she's not Alice. She's just a spoiled brat who ruined my dream." She said darkly.

Mimi looked at Shauna, wanting her to stop this. Shauna did as she was told as she spoke. "There are two Alices!? Then which Alice is which!?"

"I am the real Alice, your majesty!" Mimi said. "That one over there is just an imposter. She's basically just a fake." She said while forming a smirk on her face.

"Well if you are the real Alice, then off with her head—"

"SHUT UP!" Alice screamed, shocking everyone. "I am the real Alice! Not this stupid bitch!"

A part of the audience gasped, even a few of the staff members. They needed to end the play immediately.

"Nonsense!" Shauna objected. "Truly you are a fake, am I correct!?"

"You are WRONG!" Alice pulled out her gun and shot Shauna in the heart.

Shauna stumbled across the stage as she fell down to the school orchestra, with blood spewing out on the floor. Everyone screamed in fear as Alice tacked Mimi to the floor in brutal rage. "You, you, YOU! IT'S ALWAYS YOU, ISN'T IT!?" She then proceeded to repeatedly bang her on the floor.

"H-help me! Please!" Mimi screamed.

A few of the cast members ran up to help Mimi, but Alice pointed her gun at them. "DON'T MOVE! DON'T YOU FUCKING MOVE! ANY OF YOU!"

She then turned to the stage, where she spotted one guy calling the police. She then shot him in the head. This causes everyone to scream in panic and prepare to leave the school. Alice proceeded to shoot some innocent people, mostly adults. She then began to shoot the actors as well. But she didn't care. All she wanted was Mimi.

"Mimi!" Mimi's mother screamed out.

"Mommy!" Mimi screamed with tears in her eyes. "Help me! I wanna go home!"

"NO YOU FUCKING WON'T!" Alice kicked Mimi brutally and shot her mother a few times, killing her.

Mimi cried loudly as she was picked up by Alice. She then smiled creepily at her. "I am sick and tired of you trying to ruin my dreams! I was supposed to be Alice! Me! But you didn't cared! You just wanted to steal my role like the fucking bitch that you are!"

"A-Alice, please! I-I'm sorry—AAH!" Mimi was thrown to the floor.

"I DON'T CARE! I just want you to DIE!" Alice said in pure rage.

Alice took out a match and lights it up. She then threw it to the curtains, causing it to grow a fire. She then turned to Mimi, pulling out her knife. "Now, say that you're sorry and say that I am the real Alice and not you!"

"I just told you already!" Mimi said.

Alice then slashed her right cheek, showing its bloody scar. Mimi screamed in pain as Alice tugged her from the collar. "THEN SAY IT AGAIN! SAY YOU'RE REALLY SORRY!"

"OKAY I'M SORRY! JUST LET ME GO!" Mimi begged, hoping that Alice would finally let her live.

Alice touched her chin, and had a moment to think. "Hmm, let me see…" She then grinned darkly. "NOPE!"

Mimi's hope faded instantly as Alice started to stab her rapidly in the stomach. "I am sick and tired of you always ruining my life and I hate it! And now I will make sure that you stay gone…FOREVER!"

With one more stab, Mimi's screams of pain slowly died down as she lightly twitched and finally stopped. Alice laughed as she picked up her body and threw it into the fire. She was enjoying this completely. She finally had her revenge. It was finally over. Once she was finished, she looked up at the area around her. The entire theater room was burning in flames, with smoke fogging half the area. With one look, Alice laughed.

She then raises her fists up in the air. "I did it! I did it! I've finally saved my own wonderland! It's finally over! Now everyone knows that I'm the real Alice! Me! Me, me, me, me, ME!"

Alice continued laughing until she immediately stabbed herself in the chest. She then looked in fear. The knife was pressed to her own heart. She slowly felt like she wasn't breathing properly as she wheezed and laughed.

"I-I'm…so happy…I'm s-s-so…hap…py…"

And with that, she fell to the floor, lifeless, while the burning flames came onto her, along with the falling debris…

Alice thought that she would already be sent to hell, but it was something else. She ended up in some kind of black void. It was empty and silent as ever, not even another sound. Alice looked all around her. Was she still alive? Or was she just a ghost?

"Hello?" Alice spoke up, but there was no one there. "Hello…?" She said again.

No one came to her. There was no one there. Then she must have died anyway. She must be in some kind of purgatory. Or was it some kind of place where souls never escape?

Alice looked down at her costume. It was completely blood stained, blood marks all over her dress and even her skin. Parts of the costume was even ripped. She even touched her face and hair. They were blood stained as ever. She then spotted her nails, which were extended to a sharp length. And she had these two black chains on her wrists, which have a black clover as a keychain. Finally, she felt something cold on her chest as she discovered that her heart that she stabbed through…it was still functioning.

What has Alice really become? Was she some kind of monster? Was she becoming a demon? These new remarkable powers made her smile. She felt so alive, she felt relaxed, she felt…powerful.

She slowly started to laugh creepily. She can do whatever she wants now. She doesn't have to stay at her world. That place is filled with cruel, ungrateful people that she used to trust in her life. Her parents, her classmates, and even the teachers. But Mimi just had to enter her life and ruined everything. Everyone betrayed her. They all trusted Mimi instead of her, and Alice did not like it. Not even one bit. So, she had to give them what they deserved. Everyone deserved to suffer, especially Mimi.

The more she laughed, the more she slowly grew, and grew into an adult. And now, Alice can do whatever she wants to do.

She now has the ability to enter back to the world that she used to live in. The world was now filled with people who have miserable lives and don't care about others. And she decided to have a little fun with that. She possessed innocent people during the years, and forcing them to do wicked things such as stealing and murdering. And even when they didn't follow her commands, Alice would kill them anyway.

But Alice was starting to feel bored. Sure she was an immortal demon, but there was something she wanted more than immortality…power.

And she knew how to receive this power…

(END FLASHBACK)

The film started to cut to white as Alice turned off the film projector. "So, how was it!?" She said in her signature smile.

What I just saw…was a complete nightmare. I couldn't believe what I just watched. Everything that Alice did. All of those horrible events happened, all because of a play. Especially from the visions before. They were connected to the past as well.

I then spoke up. "Is…is that what you really wanted? Revenge…?"

Alice scoffed. "Well duh, dumbass! I mean revenge is sweet isn't it!?"

"No it's not!" I shouted at her. "This isn't "sweet" at all! I know you wanted to kill this Mimi person, but everyone else you knew and loved! You just killed them with no mercy!" I was then given a slash to my arm as I screamed in pain.

"Oh shut up, you lousy motherfucker!" Alice hissed. "I don't give a fucking shit about those assholes! They only cared for Mimi and not me! They would care for the lousy, deceiving, UNGRATEFUL BITCH THAT I'VE EVER MET!"

"Well…well…THAT PERSON IS YOU!" I screamed back.

Alice then swatted me into another part of the building as I crashed into some empty paint cans and debris. I slowly got up in pain while Alice continued laughing.

"Hey! I have an idea! How about we watch the time where I met you for the first time!" Alice said.

My eyes widened in fear. "N-no…please…not that memory! I don't want to remember!"

"Pfft! Aw come on, home slice! That was a fun memory! The times we had together! That time where you were able to kill Ri—"

"STOP IT!" I kept begging. "DON'T SHOW IT! I DON'T WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN!"

"Too late!" Alice grinned as she tied me up in chains. "Now sit back and enjoy the show! This is gonna be fun!" She then laughed.

I kept screaming in fear. I don't want to remember. I don't want to remember it at all! I wanted to leave this place and try to escape. But I was too late, as the "movie" continued to play…

(START FLASHBACK)

My life was completely awesome! Every day is my birthday, I have the coolest stuff, and I'm always around to help out Uncle G! Today, I told him the time where I was able to save the President from alien invaders. It was pretty awesome.

"Cool!" Uncle Grandpa said. "So that's how you defeated the aliens!?"

"Yep!" I smiled proudly. "I distracted them by giving them free tacos from Taco Shack! So now they can have Taco Tuesday anytime, while not trying to destroy the galaxy!"

"That was cool, Pizza Steve!"

"I know! It was awesome!"

"I don't believe this one bit." I heard Mr. Gus walking to us. Ugh, he never believes me. "How can you possibly defeated the aliens like that?"

I adjusted my shades. "Well duh! They do love tacos!"

"Uh, whatever." Mr. Gus rolled his eyes.

"Oh, I almost forgot!" Uncle Grandpa said. "I was supposed to help out Rico today in helping him make his own comic book! You guys wanna come?"

"Sorry Uncle Grandpa, but I'm gonna go and take a break today. I'm too tired from saving the President." I said.

"Take all the rest you need, Pizza Steve!"

I then looked at the time. It was only 8:00. I suppose I could take a nap for a bit. As I entered my room, I hopped into my bed and played some of my favorite music on my headphones. Maybe some cool tunes would make my dreams even cooler! But as I was drifting to sleep, the music stopped playing and I heard a strange voice…

"Pizza Steve…"

I opened my eyes, and find myself in some creepy, dark void. Um, did I ended up in the other side of the RV?

"Pizza Steeeeve…"

There was that voice again. It's probably Uncle G playing some prank on me. "Ha ha, okay Uncle G, I know it's you!" I laughed. "I gotta admit, you almost fooled me there!"

"Pizza Steve…"

I stopped laughing at the voice getting a little too creepy. Okay, so it's not Uncle Grandpa then? I looked around to see who it was, but the void was just too dark. I tried running around all over the place to find some exit, but there's nothing! What the heck is going on!?

"Pizza Steve…I want to be your friend…"

I stopped. "Huh?"

"I don't have any friends…I want to be yours…"

"Uh bro, I don't know if I can because I can't see you!" I said to the guy.

"That's okay…because if you want to see me, you have to do something for me…"

"What?" I scoffed. "Alright man, whatever you say. So what do you want me to do?"

Suddenly, I was then transported to another part of the neighborhood. I widened my eyes. "Woah, what the!? How did I get there!? Did you did this!?"

"I can do much more than that…" The voice said. "Now, you see that house over there?"

I then turned to spot a brown and cream house from the right side of the street. "You mean that house?" I asked.

"Yes indeed…"

"Okay, so uh, want do you want me to do?" I raised an eyebrow. "Are you playing some game at me?"

"Oh it's a very fun game that you will most certainly enjoy…"

And then I was teleported again into the inside of the house. I swear that this guy can have some weird powers. They might even be weirder than Uncle G's. The house was completely dark, minus a few lamps in the living room.

"Go upstairs…"

"Uh, okay." I whispered.

I slowly walked up the stairs, trying not to make a sound. I wonder if this is some kind of video game. If so, then I could play this all night. As I walked up, I came across the hallway. "Okay, so what's the next part of this game?" I asked.

"A game…?"

"Yeah bro!" I said. "I mean, this is a video game Uncle G installed right?"

"…Yes…this is a video game. A great one in fact…"

"Aw sweet, so what's next?"

Before I could get a response, I was suddenly holding on to some object. When I looked at what it was, my eyes widened in total shock. It was actually some kitchen knife. Why the hell am I holding this?

"Uh, video game narrator guy?" I asked. "Is this my weapon?"

"Oh course it is. This will be useful for you to kill your enemies…"

"So there's gonna be enemies in the game? Cool! I could put this skill to the test!"

Suddenly, a heard a door open as I decided to hide near some dark corner. Out from some room was some lady in her pajamas. She's heading for my direction. But then, I heard the narrator saying something that shivered my body…

"Push that lady down the stairs!"

I widened my eyes. "W-wha—"

"Just do it! This is what the game is!"

I didn't know what to do at this point. I must be playing as some killer who murders people. Okay, I think I accidentally picked the wrong game. But hey, this is my first virtual game experience! How bad can it be? So, I slowly sneaked behind the lady and pushed her from her feet. The lady screamed as she fell down the stairs. I watched this happening before me. This game was looking too real. And it felt awesome.

"Now, kill her with that knife!"

"Uh, okay!" I smiled and went down the stairs.

"W-wait, who's here?" I heard the woman speaking up. "Rick, is that you?"

As I walked to her back, I immediately began to stab the lady on her chest. Okay, now this game is awesome with its graphics! The woman was screaming in agony until she laid dead on the floor, with her blood spewing out. When I was finished, I stared at the NPC's corpse. It felt too real to me. And it was also kinda creepy seeing that corpse. I was about to leave until I heard someone else.

"Theresa!? Is that you!?" A man's voice called out. "Are you okay!? Where are y—"

He stopped to find me, next to the woman's corpse. "Aw shoot, I don't want to lose the game being caught!"

"D-did you do this?" The man said. "Did you killed my wife!?"

"Narrator, what should I do!?"

"Kill that man! So you can win the level!"

"Alright!" I then ran up the stairs.

"Hey, stay away from me—" I then stabbed him from his right foot. "AAAAH!" The man then fell to the floor on his back.

"Alright, I'm gonna win this level for sure!" I proceeded to go up to his body and began to stab him.

The man screamed as I kept stabbing and stabbing, until I slashed his neck, killing him instantly.

"I did it!" I jumped up in joy. "I won the game!"

"Indeed you have. Congratulations."

"Yes! Woohoo! I'll play more tomorrow! Right now I should save the game!"

"The game is automatically saved. So it's fine."

"Cool!"

Suddenly, everything turned to back until I opened my eyes and was somehow back in my room. What happened to the game? Did it froze? Well it is automatically saved, so it's fine! Man I can't wait to play that game tomorrow! I wonder if Uncle G's installed it for me. But if he did, then why would he install a virtual game where you play as a murder? That sounds really creepy actually, but hey video games now have always weird ideas! I mean, it's not like the game was actually real, right?

The next day, I woke up real good from a nice sleep! It's weird that I didn't get any nightmares from the video game I played last night. But maybe it's because I was brave! And Pizza Steve is never afraid of anything! As I said good morning to Uncle Grandpa, I decided to have a nice cookie dough sundae for breakfast! I then sat on the couch, eating my Sunday until some news report came on. Ugh man, I don't want some lousy news! I wanna watch my favorite show!

"This just in, a 24 year old man named Rick Austin was murdered last night along with his wife, Theresa Austin."

I stopped eating my ice cream. Wait, what were their names again? It sounds so familiar…

"Both were killed by being stabbed multiple times with a knife. Police stated that Theresa was stabbed in the back down the stairs, and Rick was stabbed in the stomach and neck as well. We received pictures of this incident before you, and I must warn you, this may be graphic."

The moment I saw the photos, I dropped my sundae into the floor. I was blankly staring at the pictures before me. No way, this can't be real. Did this really happen last night!? Did I really killed those people!? Was it really a game at all!? Right now, I wanted to scream, but then I heard Uncle Grandpa and Mr. Gus talking about it.

"Oh no! That means there's a murder on the loose!" Uncle Grandpa screamed. "Ouick, we gotta do whatever we can to lock up the RV!"

"Don't worry, Uncle Grandpa." Mr. Gus said. "It's not like he's already in the RV. All we gotta do is keep watching and find out to make sure."

"You're right, Mr. Gus!" Uncle Grandpa turned to me. "Woah, Pizza Steve, you dropped your sundae! Hey, are you alright? You must look scared."

I immediately fakes my true thoughts. "Whoops! Sorry bro! Silly me! I'm gonna um, go and take a bath to clean off the sundae! Be right back!" I then ran fast to the bathroom.

As I went inside, I washed my face off at the sink and tried not to go crazy. "This can't be real! IT CAN'T!" I screamed.

Suddenly I heard evil laughter slowly ringing through my ears.

"Why of course it's real! It's obviously a game, now is it?"

It's was the same voice from last night. "Y-you! You did all of this, did you!? You tricked me to killing those innocent people as it was some video game!" I screamed. "Why the hell would you make me do this!? Are you some kind of creature!?"

Then the lights came off as I was flung into the wall very hard. I tried to move up, but I was then slammed into the wall, breaking my shades.

"That's what I am, and that's how I do it. You will listen to me and do as I sa—"

"NO! I WON'T! UNCLE GRANDPA HELP!" I screamed, begging for someone to help me.

"He can't help you. Nobody can help you. The doors and walls are sound-proof, so they won't hear your screams or banging."

"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP! PLEASE JUST GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"

As I opened my eyes, I was back into the creepy dark void again. I tried to run around the place, trying to find my way out, but there was no wall or door. It was just pure black.

"HELP! ANYBODY, HELP ME!" I shouted but there was no answer. "HELP ME, PLEASE!"

"Pizza Steve…" A voice called out.

I slowly turned around to find a man and a woman in front of me. They were actually Rick and Theresa, the two people I killed!

"Why did you do this to us?" Rick said, sounding depressed.

I stepped back a little. "W-what?"

"Why did you have to kill us, Pizza Steve?" Theresa said.

"H-how…how are you still alive?"

"Pizza Steve, why did you kill us?" Rick still continued.

"N-no, please…" I spoke up. "I d-didn't mean to…"

Rick and Theresa still continued their murmurs of sorrow as it was too much for me to take. I couldn't take it anymore as I tried to flee but then I bumped into someone. Once I looked up, my eyes widened in true fear. Standing before me was Uncle Grandpa himself, along with the others. All of them have saddened faces, but Uncle Grandpa's face had the most tears.

"Pizza Steve, why?" He cried.

"U-Uncle Grandpa, wait! It wasn't me!" I cried back.

"Why did you do this Pizza Steve!? I thought I trusted you!"

"N-no! Wait! Please! Stay back!" I begged. "Please, don't hurt me!"

Everyone was murmuring, walking up to me. And then I heard the mysterious voice again, laughing at my misery. I saw everyone's faces switching to evil grins as they tried to attack me. I curled up under a ball and sobbed. This can't be happening! This can't be! All I wanted was to just have an awesome life, but now it's getting crushed by some demonic ghost! He lied to me, he tricked me, and he even blamed me for what I did! I just want it to stop…

I JUST WANT IT TO STOP!

(CUT FLASHBACK)

In a swift motion I grabbed a brick and threw it at the screen projector, destroying it to bits.

"HEY!" Alice screamed. "It was getting to the good part—"

"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP!" I screamed at her. "I SAID THAT I NEVER WANTED TO SEE THAT AGAIN AND YET YOU MADE ME SEE IT!"

"So what!?" Alice grinned. "It was a really good memory! Besides, you wanna know why I wanted you to kill Rick!?"

"BECAUSE YOU'RE A FREAKING PSYCHO!"

"Pfft, nah! Not even close!" Alice laughed. "Rick was actually some annoying student of mine from my happy-wappy childhood!"

I then stopped and looked at her. "What?"

Alice then smiled creepily. "Oh you're going to love this! Rick was just some lousy, no-good classmate who picked on me since childhood! Once upon a time we were great buddies until that fucking bitch Mimi came along! She told him some fucking lies about me that not even a damn normal person would fall for! And because of that—THAT MOTHERFUCKER LEFT ME ON THE SPOT!" Alice screamed before smiling again. "So after I became a fucking god or whatever, I wanted to get back at all of those miserable bastards who are still alive after that bullshit play! And thanks to you, Rick was the last one I needed to get rid of!" She then laughed manically.

I couldn't believe this. I just couldn't. "So all of this was to be tricked into completing your hit list!?"

"Pretty much!" Alice laughed. "Sweet right!?"

"No it's not! That's just being cruel and heartless! I can't believe I'm under the possession of some evil demon who turns out to be a fucking bitch!"

This sent Alice to her raging point as she planned to slash me again, but I dodged her. She then tried to attack me again, but I was able to hit her with another brick to the face. She screamed in pain as I hold on to her and we were both transported back to the RV in my room. I then proceeded to slam her to the floor.

"You happy motherfucker!" Alice grinned. "There will be consequences to your actions! Just wait!"

"JUST LEAVE MY LIFE!" I screamed. "JUST GO AWAY!"

Once I brutally punched her face, Alice poofed away. All of these horrid events were finally over. I then crawled to my bed and sobbed. I can't believe Hal's gone, all because of Alice. It's all Alice's fault. Because she fooled me into her own selfish deeds and then she tricked Hal and ended up getting him killed. And then the flashbacks. Dear god the flashbacks…

I didn't even care about putting on my pajamas. I just covered myself with the bedsheets and went to sleep…

Sobbing for the rest of the night…
