Well guys, you know that this was coming. Inner Demon is close to the end. And I'm glad that I'll get to finish the story that I wanted to complete. But there's still a few more chapters to go so hopefully the story will be finished this year.
But for now, the next chapter will be so heartbreaking, that you guys are going to be mad at me for this. But hey, this story is an angst-filled ride, so you'll at least expect some endings that aren't so happy.
In this chapter, Pizza Steve meets Uncle Grandpa's sweet granddaughter and niece, Sally. Sally has gone through an illness and she may die at a very young age. So Pizza Steve tries his best to take care of her until the cure is sent. But however, Alice won't let that go so easily and wants Pizza Steve to ruin Sally's chances to live… But however, what if that takes a different turn for the unknown…?

Chapter Seven: Sally
Last night…was awful…
It was one of the most horrid nights I ever faced.
Hal turned out to be tricked by Alice and she got him and his family killed by the mafia. I was so enraged, I wanted to know why she did all of this. Until I discovered her past. And it was terrifying…
It turns out that Alice was once a human girl who wanted to be the star of a school play, but some bully ruined her moment. She was so angry that she slowly went into a psychopath and not only killed her parents…but she massacred almost the entire play and killed herself in the process.
It was the scariest flashback I have ever witnessed. It even got worse when she showed me a flashback of how I met her. That time where I almost gotten crazy and even committed my first murder. I had to kill Alice's childhood enemy, Rick, but he was changed and was even married. I felt that I didn't want to kill them, but Alice forced and threatened me that I had no choice…
So far, my life has been getting worse and worse, and it's getting frustrating. I want to fight back, I really do, but Alice's pressuring made me feel weak. I feel useless. I feel like I'm causing others to be in danger. It may be Alice's fault, but it's also mines…
When I woke up this morning, it was 6:00. The others should be awake by 7:00, so maybe I could at least go outside for a bit. When I washed up and got ready, I exited my room and into the living room. Nobody was here, they must be sleeping.
Suddenly I heard a voice.
"That was a fun night, wasn't it!?"
I turned around and spotted Alice. Great, just who I wanted to see right now…
"That story I told you was really amazing!" Alice bragged. "Especially the part where I met you for the first time, and changed into the happy psychopath you are now!"
I then stared at her in silence.
"Hey, are you answering me!?"
"…"
"Come on, say something you bastard!"
"…Nothing…I don't care right now…"
"Pfft! Wow, you're really a fucking downer! When are you gonna cheer up!?"
"Cheer up?" I repeated. "Cheer up!? Why would I cheer up over what happened last night! You tricked Hal and ruined his life! How the hell is that gonna make things better!? Not to mention how sick and twisted you were back there! I'm not even going to listen to a heartless bitch like you!"
This causes Alice to pin me down to the floor in rage.
"I DON'T GIVE A SHIT, YOU JACKASS!" Alice screamed while smiling creepily. "That's what I am and you will follow what I fucking say! Disobey me and the next thing you're doing is murdering you friends and killing yourself! …And we don't want that to happen, do we!?"
I then glared at her. "…Shut u—UGH!" Alice slashed my left cheek, leaving a scar.
"That's a warning, you happy little bastard! The more you do that, the more you're gonna get yourself hurt!" She then laughed as she disappeared.
I then got up weakly. I don't care what Alice says. Hopefully, I won't obey her this time…
An hour later, the others woke up and entered the living room. I was flipping through the channels on TV. Until, the news was on and I already knew what they were going to say.
"Last night, neighbors discovered someone's house being exploded in an inferno. Unfortunately, authorities discovered that a mother and her son were killed inside. Things got worse when police discovered a wanted mafia gang at the local peer. Except for one being killed, the rest of the gang were arrested. They also spotted another man who looked like he was stabbed on the chest. The gang members confessed that he was with them but was going to be executed. These mysterious killings has been happening since last month. But whoever is responsible for this, will be served to justice. More news up next…"
That last sentence ranged though my head. If I was discovered, then sooner or later, almost everyone will be after my head. But what about Uncle Grandpa and the others? Will they be after me too?
When breakfast was ready, the gang were eating their pancakes, except for me. I was moving my fork around my plate, thinking about last night.
"Hey Pizza Steve, are you alright?" Uncle Grandpa asked. "You barely touched your food."
I went back to reality and looked at him. I then smiled to hide my thoughts. "Oh it's nothing, Uncle G! I'm just thinking about what awesome stuff I'm gonna do today!"
"Really!? That's awesome!"
Mr. Gus simply rolled his eyes. He's always not believing me. But I hope he doesn't believe what I'm trying to do…
After breakfast, I left the RV to go outside for a walk. Last night was so traumatizing, that I needed to clear my head. I could go to the coffee shop, but I've decided not to. I don't want to be reminded of bad memories, though I will never forget Hal, or the other people for that matter.
These people who I've met had gone through some tough times. Even though Andy might had a perfect life, Riley, Hal, and even Laura had been through hell. Riley had been abused by her parents, Hal had been trying to earn money to help out his family and life, and Laura had been dealing with too much stress and trauma, that she went crazy. I feel so sorry for them and can't believe their now gone. If Alice hadn't been in the way, then Andy would still live peacefully, Riley would be in a better home with loving parents, Hal would have a better job to support his family, and Laura would have special help and be healed so she could be better.
But no…they just had to go…all because of me…
I then went to the local park. Great, another memory that was too painful to look though. I even went to the same spot where I encountered Hal and told me what happened.
After that, I walked through the park and spotted the playground. There wasn't any kids around, which is strange since this is summer now. So that means some kids could be coming here to play. But maybe I could go there to check. I entered the playfield and looked around the site. It was pure empty, for sure. But suddenly, I heard something, like crying. I tried to figure out where it was coming from until I can hear it from that tall tube slide.
I walked through the small stairs of the play set until I spotted a little girl on the tube slide's entrance, crying. She had short blonde hair with small wavy pigtails. She wore a pink shirt with blue overalls and purple shoes. I slowly walked up to her.
"Hello?" I asked. "Are you alright?"
The girl sniffed and looked at me. "Huh? Who are you?"
"My name's Pizza Steve."
"M-my name is Sally. I lost my mommy and daddy and I can't find them anywhere." She sniffed.
"I can help you find them!"
"Really?"
"Sure! Just follow me! I promise!" I pulled out my hand, waiting for her to grab it.
Sally looked a little confused but nodded as she grabbed my hand. We then got off the play set and exited the playground. I didn't want to lose that kid's parents. They have to be around here somewhere. Until, I heard a voice…
"Sally!?"
I turned to see two adults looking for someone or something. The man had black hair and work a black suit with a blue tie and black shoes. And the woman had long, blonde hair with a blue shirt, a red skirt, and pink shoes. Once they spotted us, they smiled and hugged Sally, meaning that they must be Sally's parents the whole time.
"Oh Sally, we found you!" Her mom said. "How did you get lost?"
"I'm sorry, mommy." Sally sniffed a little. "I wanted to go to the playground with you and daddy, but you and he weren't there!"
"Oh my, we must've been distracted! Oh god…" Her father facepalmed. "Well we're sorry sweetie. We're just glad you're safe!"
Sally smiled as she pointed them to me. "Pizza Steve helped me!"
Her parents turned to me and smiled. "Oh, sorry we didn't noticed you!" Sally's father said. "You helped our daughter?"
I smiled back. "Um yeah. I had do. I mean, I didn't want her to be lost."
"Thank you for finding our daughter."
"No problem."
"My name is Caroline Fields, and this is my husband Fred." Sally's mother said.
"Oh, nice to meet you."
"Mommy, daddy, can Pizza Steve play with me at the playground?" Sally asked innocently.
"Of course, sweetie. But let's have some lunch first okay?" Fred said as he carried Sally in his arms. "Steven—oh sorry I mean Pizza Steve. You wanna have some lunch with us?"
At first I didn't want to go, but since I dealt with a lot of stress lately, how can I say no? As long as Alice isn't around of course. "Sure. I don't mind."
At lunchtime, we entered the picnic area and had lunch there. We just had some sandwiches and juice while watching the meadow behind us. I really missed this kind of scenario. All year, I been dealing with Alice ever since, and I hadn't gotten a single, peaceful moment yet. But for now, this is what I deserve. Just a quiet, beautiful spot. No murder, no robberies. Just a very relaxing moment…
We watched as Sally got up and was trying to catch a butterfly while giggling. She was actually adorable. I know that I'm not a huge lover for kids, but after…the Andy incident, I'm slowly starting to support them.
Once I finished my sandwich, I prepared to talk to Sally's parents. "Your daughter is really cute." I spoke up.
"Well, she is our little ray of sunshine!" Caroline smiled and cuddled with her husband.
"Indeed she is." Fred said. "Were doing everything we can to help her…"
I raised an eyebrow. "Huh? What do you mean?"
Caroline and Fred looked at each other, their faces frowning. They then looked at me. Was there something wrong?
"Do you promise not to tell Sally this?" Caroline asked worriedly.
I nodded. "Whatever it is, I won't tell her. I promise."
"That's good." Fred took a deep breath before he told me the truth. "You see…Sally, has an illness."
My eyes widened in shock. "R-really?"
Caroline went teary-eyed a little. "There's this illness that can cause someone to have a horrible fever, loss in energy, and even death… My family from past generations had the sickness, but luckily, I don't have it…but Sally does."
"Ever since she was 4, Sally started to become weak." Fred explained. "We were so worried what was happening to our baby girl. Once we've taken her to the doctor, she explained to us what happened. The illness started too early on her. It may take a few years, or even earlier. So we've tried our best to help Sally. We wanted to keep her alive."
I couldn't believe what I was hearing. A little girl, who was 5 years old, has a terrible illness. And the fact that she can die from it just made it heartbreaking. I sputtered out. "O-oh my god…is there a cure?"
Suddenly, they both gave out a weak smile. "Thankfully, yes." Caroline said.
I then gave out a sigh of relief. At least that's some good news.
"The doctor told us that just last week, they found a cure for the illness and are giving out the first batches on Friday." Fred said.
"Even better. Sally is starting to feel well. Sure she's still feeling weak a little, but her fever is going down. So she is going to be okay. Thank god…"
I then smiled a bit. I'm glad for them. They're at least happy that Sally is fine. Just then Sally ran up to me. "Pizza Steve, let's play!"
I thought for a moment before smiling. "Okay. I don't mind."
"Yay! Let's play hide and seek! That's my favorite game!" Sally said.
"Alright then."
The next 30 minutes has to be one of the most peaceful experiences of my life. I had played with Sally, and it was pretty sweet of me to care for her. I didn't wanted to be reminded about the Andy incident, but I imagined that Andy was still alive and I would at least still play with him. But it wasn't Andy. It was another child. A child who's been a survivor of an illness that has finally gotten a cure. Its amazing how one little girl could survive an illness this deadly.
We then went to the playground with Fred and Caroline watching us. I agreed to slide down the slide with Sally and even helped her push, despite my small size.
"Push me higher, Pizza Steve!" Sally giggled.
I chuckled a little. "Okay! I'll try!" I said, trying my best to push her up.
After an entire day of playing, the sun was going down. We all head out of the playground and decided to depart on the spot.
"Alright Sally, we have to go home now." Caroline said as she carried Sally. "Say goodbye, sweetie."
"No mommy!" Sally cried. "Can Pizza Steve have dinner with us? Pleeeeeease?"
Caroline laughed. "Okay. Would you like to have dinner with us, Pizza Steve?" She asked me.
"Um sure." I nodded. "I won't mind."
"Great! We'll take you to our place!" Fred smiled.
At first I didn't want to go. Because otherwise, I would have to deal with Alice again. But however, I wanted to go anyway, just for Sally's sake. She was really happy when I played with her. I wouldn't let down some kid again. I had no choice anyway. Though, I do have to call Uncle Grandpa about what happened. I know he'll understand that I can't have dinner at the RV for tonight…
As we arrived at the house, everything went alright as I thought. We all had some dinner together and we even talked for a while. As dinner was over, Sally was preparing for bed. The clock struck 9:00, meaning that I should head back home. But before I could go, I thought that it would be reasonable to say goodbye to Sally one last time…
"Pizza Steve, you have to leave?" Sally said innocently, wearing her pink pajamas.
"I'm sorry, kid, but I have to go home." I smiled. "But don't worry, I'll come back, next time."
Sally smiled. "You promise?"
"I promise."
Sally reached out her hand, wiggling her pinky. "You pinky promise?"
I then reached out my pinky as well. "I pinky promise."
We then shook each other's pinkies. I just know that once I do something horrible to her under Alice's command, that promise would be dreadful. After that, Sally hugged me as she went upstairs with her mother. "Good night, Pizza Steve!" she waved.
I waved back a little. "Good night!"
"Thank you so much, Pizza Steve!" Caroline said, carrying Sally to her room.
Fred then smiled at me. "Take care! And if you do come back, make sure to care for Sally as well!"
I almost jolted at those words. "S-sure! Goodnight." And with that, I left the house.
I fear that those words may come back to me another day. I pray to god that I won't kill Sally. That poor girl has been through an illness and is slowly getting her strength back. No way will I obey Alice this time. The deal is off. Because for now on…I won't…
At nighttime, I was preparing for bed. I kept thinking about the future. What if I do obey Alice this time? What if things go wrong this time? What if I have to end up killing another victim I just met? I don't want to do that again. I really don't. If I had never met Alice, then none of this wouldn't happen…
I then decided to go to sleep. But as I was sleeping, I heard some noise in the room. I tried to figure out what it was, but there was nothing. I then decided to sleep again, until I heard a voice.
"Pizza Steve…"
I slowly jolted.
"Pizza Steve…where are you…?"
That voice…it sounded so familiar…
"Pizza Steve…why not do it…why just do the deed right now?"
Oh no…
"Come on, Stevie! I know you wanna! Ahahahahaha!"
It was actually Alice! "N-no…no! Don't come back! Not now!"
"Come on, home slice! Are you a chicken!? Just do it!"
"I SAID NOT NOW!" I screamed. And suddenly…the voices were gone.
I took some deep breaths, trying to calm down. I just knew that once the day was over, Alice was going to come back again. Persuading me in doing another fucking deed. I must not fall for them again. I won't. I then went to sleep again. Let's hope that tomorrow would be better…
The next day, I woke up pretty early as usual. It was only 7:00 though, so the others must be up by now. As I was getting ready for the day, I thought about telling Uncle Grandpa and the others more about Sally. Maybe they could help me out in giving something special for Sally—
"Let's play hide and seek!"
"ACK!" I cried, my head was starting to hurt, voices I hear in my head…but they weren't Alice's.
"You're my best friend Pizza Steve, no matter what!"
It's Sally's?
I screamed in pain as I rolled out of my bed. Why won't they just leave my head!?
"…9….10—"
BANG!
"AAAAH!" Suddenly, the pain stopped.
What even was that? Why was it Sally's thoughts? What is just like from before? Visions of the future? And what was that banging noise? I pray to god that it wasn't a…
Suddenly, the door opened as Uncle Grandpa and Mr. Gus came in. "Pizza Steve are you alright?" Uncle Grandpa said.
"We heard you screaming." Mr. Gus explained. "And we wanted to make sure that you're alright."
I immediately got up and put on my shades, trying to act cool. "O-oh um, I'm fine guys! I just had a crazy dream that's all!"
"Oh okay!" Uncle Grandpa smiled. "Well it's breakfast time! Don't wanna be late!"
"Sure bro! I'll be right over!"
They then left the room, but I heard Mr. Gus saying something before they were gone. "I'm telling you Uncle Grandpa, Pizza Steve is acting strange lately."
"I dunno, Mr. Gus! Pizza Steve look fine to me!"
"I'm not sure. Maybe he needs help…?"
As they left, I kept thinking about that last sentence. Maybe Mr. Gus is right. Maybe I do need help. If I ever tell Uncle Grandpa and the others about Alice, they could help me. We could find some wacky way or something to get rid of her. And then, everything would be fine again. I could finally be free from her. I could have my normal life again…or maybe not…
If I do tell them about Alice, then I would have no choice but to tell them about what I've done. What I have been doing since the past three months. And if I do, then they would never look at me the same way ever again. They would think that I'm a bad person, a murderer, a monster! Nobody would trust me, hell, even Uncle Grandpa! The visions I had from the first time…I feel like there haunting me again! Like in the future they would be real…
NO!
NO THEY WON'T! NO WAY IN HELL WOULD THEY EVER COME TRUE!
I then blinked at what I just thought of…It's best to eat some breakfast for now…
After breakfast, I felt like telling the others more about Sally, but decided not to. Maybe it's best for Uncle Grandpa not to have his heart shattered over a dying child. I then left the RV. I wanted to do something very nice for Sally. She may be surviving well, but it's not good enough. She deserves something very special. And I'll give her that…
I then went to the local gift shop downtown and decided to buy some special gifts for Sally. The workers there were very kind in helping me out. I chose some balloons, plushies, gift cards, the usual stuff. I made sure to sign the cards as well. As I brought all of the items to the cashier, I was ready to check them out. I thanked the workers and left the store. As I was walking my way to Sally's house, I slowly felt left depressed and worried and more…happy? I don't know why, but it felt so strange to me. But at the same time, it felt deserving.
I really do needed a break once and a while. From all of the torture that Alice has given me. Killing innocent people, robbing stores just for no purpose, all of that stuff. Maybe because after the Andy incident, I wanted to repay that memory and fix up my mistakes. I wanted to make Sally feel better, just like how I tried to do with Andy. And this time, I won't let anything bad happen…
Twenty minutes later, I reached the Fields' house and knocked on the door.
"Who is it?" A voice called out, as it was Caroline.
"It's me, Pizza Steve!" I answered.
The door opened as Caroline opened the door, greeting me with a smile. "Pizza Steve! So glad of you to come by!" She gasped in joy. "Are all of these for Sally?"
I then smiled. "Yeah, of course. I felt like that I wanted to give her something special."
"That's so sweet of you! Thank you very much!"
"Your welcome."
"I'll get Fred over here to come help bring these to her room." She called her husband over. "Fred! It's Pizza Steve! He brought gifts for Sally!"
Fred came in. "Oh wow! These are so nice! Thank you so much, Steven!" He then made a sheepish smile. "Oops! So sorry, I keep calling you Steven."
"Um, that's fine. I don't mind." I said.
"Oh okay." He helped picked up the gifts. "Well help carry these for you."
We then carried the gifts upstairs. I can imagine Sally's face when she sees this. She'll be so happy of what I've done for her. As we walked to Sally's door, Fred knocked on it. "Sweetie! We have a surprise for you!"
"A surprise!?" Sally's voice was heard from her room, sounding happy. "Where is it!? Can I see it!?"
The door opened as we came inside her room, surprising her with the gifts. "Hey Sally!" I waved at her.
And as expected, Sally smiled bright as ever. "Wow! You brought all of these for me!?"
"Oh course!" Caroline said. "Pizza Steve came by and told us that these were all for you! To cheer you up!"
Sally got out of her bed and took a closer look at them. She was so happy I can't help but smile. I felt good doing something special to someone. It's been a while though, but it was worth it. I then see Sally giving me a warm hug. "Thank you so much, Pizza Steve! You're the best friend ever!"
I then hugged her back. "Your welcome."
"Once again, thank you for doing this for our daughter, Steven." Fred said. "Were just glad that someone supports in helping her out."
"I agree. That's the most generous thing someone has done for her." Caroline nodded.
All of those words. These positive, generous words. They slowly give me joy. And I was happy about that. I then spoke up. "Is it alright if I spend some time here for a bit?"
"Can he, mommy and daddy?" Sally pleaded her parents. "Pleeeease?"
"Why of course!" Fred answered.
"You can stay anytime you want." Caroline agreed.
I started to smile more. "T-thank you."
Later on, was starting to become better for me. Sure I did played with Sally, but I mostly spent time with her and her parents. They were so generous, just like Uncle Grandpa. And because of that, they really do care. I have met the people who I've met in the past. They have their own problems, but have no problem befriending me. I'm just happy that I get to receive such peace for a few months of fear, death, and so much more…
We'd had some lunch together, we talked about some stuff in our lives, and we even played with Sally together. Fred and Caroline even told me that the cure of the illness will be arriving tomorrow. So that means that Sally will finally live on…
After a long day, I had to go back home. Maybe to spend more time with Uncle Grandpa and the others since I have been shut in from them because of Alice.
"I'm glad that we had a great time, Steven!" Fred said.
Caroline picked up her daughter. "And once again, thank you for doing all of this for our daughter!"
"No problem." I walked to the front door. "That's just, uh, what I do to help."
"Bye Pizza Steve!" Sally waved. "Come back soon!"
I waved back. "I will!"
Once I left the house, I feel positive as ever. All of those depressing thoughts just took a break, and I feel gifted inside. I was not only feeling good…
I was finally feeling happy again…
Later on at night, I was preparing for bed. I actually decided to spend more time with my friends again. It felt kinda refreshing to hang out with them after a while. Uncle Grandpa was happy that I was feeling good, same with Belly Bag and Tiger. But Mr. Gus was still suspicious of me. He still thinks that I'm not feeling right. I can't let them know about what I'm doing. And they do, they will never trust me ever again…
It was already past midnight. Who knew that I was staying up too long? As I going to sleep, I heard a familiar voice…
"Hey! Glad to see you again, Steve-O!"
My eyes widened as the voice. Oh no…please don't let It be her….
"Hey! Wake up for sleepy bastard! It's me, Alice!"
I immediately opened my eyes and got up from my bed, seeing none other than Alice herself, with her creepy smile on her face. "It's been a while! Like a fucking day or so!" She said.
"W-w-what are you doing here…?" I spoke up.
Alice scoffed. "What does it look like!? Let's have some fun, Pizza Steve!"
I felt like I knew what she was about to say. I then prepared for it. "Like what?"
"Duh!? You know what I mean you dumbass!" Alice moved her creepy face closer to mines. "I'm talking about that little brat with the shitty disease! What's her name!? Like Sally Fields or some shit!?"
"Y-you mean you want me to kill her?" I said, eyes widened in fear.
"Why not!? Why just put that fucking brat out of her misery!? And hey, why not her parents as well!? She would rather just die while still being sick! Ahahahaha! So let's get things started shall we!?"
I could not believe what I am hearing. She wants me to kill a little girl and her parents. The ones who I met a day ago. The one who has a terrible illness and has been surviving ever since. The one who is almost surviving and she and her parents gave me my support for her…
With one word in my mind, I spoke up. "…No."
Alice turned around. "Huh!? What the hell did you say!? I can't hear ya!"
"…No." I then said it again.
"What!? What do you mean no!? You would always accept what where going to d—"
"No! I don't give a fuck about your goddamn orders!" I screamed at her. "All my life, I have been dealing with people, who have dealt with terrible times in the past! Who still need some help! I met them! I wanted to help them! But because of you, ALL OF THEM ARE GONE!"
Alice's smile became creepier. "YOU LOUSY, FUCKING SON OF A—"
"SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP! I don't care what you say! I won't do it! I won't obey you this time! The deal is off Alice! AND I DO FUCKING MEAN IT!" I shouted will all of my might.
Then, Alice pounced at me, pinning me to the floor. "You happy little motherfucker!" She then made a glare. "WHAT DID I SAID EARLIER FROM YESTERDAY, HUH!? I said that YOU were supposed to obey me! YOU were supposed to do what I say! And YOU were supposed to not act like a stupid, pathetic bitch whenever you disobey me!"
I then punched her brutally in the face, flinging her into a wall. "I DON'T CARE! I WON'T DO IT!"
Alice smiled creepy once she floated up. "UGH! WHAT A PATHETIC RETARD!" She then slashed my other cheek off as I cried in pain.
I tried to fight back, but the pain in my cheek was so damn painful. I then picked up a cracked CD as I break it off in half. Once Alice attempted to slash me again, I slashed her in the eye, causing her to scream in pain.
"MY EYE! MY MOTHERFUCKING EYE!" She screamed in agony. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU!? FUCKING SON OF A BITCH!"
Once I saw the blood oozing on her left eye, I jumped back in fear. She then used her powers to regenerate her eye, but apparently the bloody scar on her forehead wasn't. She then proceeded to lunge at me, slamming me to another all. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU! I POSSESSED YOU FOR SOME MOTHERFUCKING SHIT, AND THEN YOU PLAN TO PISS ME OFF!" She screamed.
"I sad that I won't do it!" I shouted back. "I won't do it and that's final!"
She then punched me in the face. "Then why won't you do it huh!?"
"THEN TELL ME WHY YOU CAME TO POSSESS ME!"
"I JUST SHOWED YOU FROM THAT MEMORY, REMEMBER DUMBASS!?" She then smiled crazily. "SUCH FUN TIMES!"
"NO, SHUT UP! THE REAL REASON! WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME!? WHY DID YOU CHOSE ME OUT OF ALL OF THE OTHER PEOPLE YOU POSSESSED IN THE PAST!?"
"THAT'S NONE OF YOUR BUISNESS!"
"I DON'T GIVE A FUCK! JUST TELL ME NOW!"
"NEVER!" Alice roared.
In an instant, she grabbed my left arm and twisted it. I was screaming in agony, the pain was getting worse and worse until it was broken. For what she did to me, I grabbed the broken CD, and scarred her right arm, freeing me from her grasp. As payback, Alice threw me to the floor, my arm hurting even more. I didn't gave a shit if I was getting injured. I just want her to go away.
"I warned you, dipshit!" Alice said, looking at me closer with a smile. "Disobey me and you'll get hurt! Such sweet comebacks! So because of that, I'm gonna go and kill Sally myself! You're such a weak puppet to use anyway!" She then laughed.
My eyes widened in fear. No! I can't let her do that! I just can't! I tried to move up, my arm still in pain. "No…please…" I begged.
"Oh whatever! I'll kill her parents too! Maybe they can all die together happily! It would be so nice to show Sally your best friend Alice the Wonder!"
I slowly got up. "No…don't…"
Alice then headed for the window. "Well I should go now! See you then you f—"
"I'LL DO IT, OKAY! JUST LET ME DO IT!" I screamed at her.
There was a moment of silence once I shouted. I breathed heavily, gaining back air. Alice just stared at me for a few seconds before she smiled. "What? I can't hear you! You might as well speak u—"
"I SAID THAT I'LL DO IT!" I then went to the floor, banging on it with my fists. "Just please…! I-I don't want you to make them suffer…" I slowly started to cry. "…I don't want you to kill them…t-that…should be my job…"
"Oh thank god!" Alice said. "I didn't even wanted to kill them anyway! Though that would be so much fun!"
"…I…I don't care…." I tried to hold back my tears. "Just please…give me something…something simple, something easy…so I can just take them out…"
Alice snapped her fingers as a black gun poofed in from my right hand. "Easiest weapon of them all! A gun! Pure and simple, you shithead!"
"…Just…" I didn't want to say it…but I have no choice. "…Just take me there…"
In an instant, I was teleported at another street. And to my right, was the Fields's house. I can't believe I'm doing this… After all of the fun that I finally had…with ones who I've just met…will be shot down by me. I couldn't take it anymore…I just want it to end!
I grabbed hold of the gun and aimed it at my forehead. I don't care if I'm Alice's puppet! I don't care if she keeps killing people! I just don't want to witness it! I rather just shoot myself and end my miserable life! I don't care anymore! I JUST WANT IT TO END!
…But…no…this was not worth it…
None of this was worth it. At all. If I just killed myself right then and there…would it be worth it? If it did, then Uncle Grandpa and the others would be heartbroken…I have no choice then…
I then lowered my gun and started to cry. I can't believe that I have to do this. I just can't. But I have no choice. This was for Sally, her parents, my friends, and even me…
With all of my thoughts in me, I walked my way into the house. Since I knew there was another way to get in, I used the doggie door. Which was odd, since I've never seen them with a dog before. They must've had it in the past. Once I was inside, I quietly tip-toed to the living room. There was no one there. It was completely dark, minus the lamps on the table. I turned to the stairs right in front of me. There was no time to waste…
Step by step, I slowly got up the stairs, trying not to make a sound. As I reached the top floor, I thought of getting rid of Fred and Caroline first, and then Sally.
I didn't want to do this, I don't. But because of all of the damage I been through…I just hope that they'll forgive me…
I then walked my way to the parent's bedroom door. As I opened it, I saw Fred and Caroline in bed, sleeping peacefully. Trying not to make a sound, I slowly walked in, aiming my gun at them. But before I could proceed, my left arm was still hurting, causing me to almost wail in pain. I knew that I should have brought a cast with me. I tried not to make a sound, but I did.
"H-huh…? Who's here?" A voice called out. It was Caroline, as she and Fred woke up.
I jolted up as I tried to hide, but it was too late. Fred and Caroline saw me, holding a gun. "P-Pizza Steve?" Fred said. "What are you doing here? And why are you holding a gun?"
This was it. I have no other choice. I aimed my gun at them. "F-f-forgive me!" I cried.
"Pizza Steve, what are you gonna do with that gun?" Caroline said in fear.
"I-I'm sorry! Please forgive me!"
"Pizza Steve, plea—"
"I'M SORRY!"
BANG!
I then shot Caroline in her forehead, causing her to drop to her bed, already dead. Fred screamed as he comforted his own wife. "Caroline!? Caroline!"
Knowing that there was no time left, I aimed my gun at Fred. "I-I'm sorry…"
Fred got up, walking up to me. "Pizza Steve, please! Why did you do this!? Why!?"
"I SAID I'M SORRY!"
BANG! BANG!
Fred was then shot two times in the heart. I could see his face, looking confused but also betrayed. That his own friend killed him and his wife. And it's all because of me. He tried to move up, but it was too late. He then fell to the floor, lying motionless. And now…everything was in silence…
I then fell on my knees and tried not to cry. I can't believe what I just did. I murdered another child's parent. First David's and now Sally's…
Sally…
Knowing that I have to go, I left the bedroom and shut the door, leaving two bloody bodies behind…
I then walked down the stairs, feeling scarred, lost, and even scared. I can't continue this. I have to leave. I was about to escape until…
"Pizza Steve?"
I stopped dead in my tracks once I heard that familiar voice. I prayed to god that it wasn't her, but it is. I slowly turned around to see Sally on the stairs, looking confused. I did my best to hide the gun from her. I didn't want her to know what I just did.
"Pizza Steve?" Sally walked down the stairs. "What are you doing here?"
I tried to come up with something to say… "I-I was here to visit…"
Sally smiled. The look on her face. It was so innocent that she doesn't know what's going on. "Really!? Yay! Mommy dad—"
"No wait!" I stopped her.
"Huh? Why not Pizza Steve? Aren't we going to play with mommy and daddy?"
I pulled out a fake, weak smile. "M-mommy and daddy are too tired to play…"
"Aw okay! I'll tell them when the sun comes up!" Sally smiled. "Pizza Steve, you wanna play a game?"
I didn't know what to do at this point. Either just kill Sally on the spot…or just spare her for one more peaceful moment with me? It's heartbreaking that she didn't had a sweet moment with her parents. But I hope that she did. Because what I'm about to do will be too painful for me to watch…
With a deep sigh, I finally answered. "…Y-yeah…let's play hide and seek."
"Hide and seek!? Yay! I really wanna play it with you again! But this time, it's in the dark!" Sally giggled.
"S-sure…" I said, gulping a little. "Let's have fun then…"
"I'll go first! That means you have to hide! So you better find a hiding spot then!"
I then thought about how I was going to kill her, as I slowly started to cry. I didn't want to in front of Sally, but I had no choice. She then looked at me. "Pizza Steve, why are you crying?"
Not wanting to make her worry, I smiled back. "I-It's nothing Sally…I was just…" I choked a little. "…h-happy that I'm you best friend…"
Sally then hugged me. "I'm you bestest friend too Pizza Steve!"
"A-and…you know that you're my best friend…r-right…?"
"Of course you are! You're my best friend Pizza Steve, no matter what!"
I tried to hold back tears. The pain was too much for me to handle. Sally then walked out from me, turning around and closing her eyes. I could see her back once I rubbed my eyes. It was time for me to do it…
I slowly pulled out my gun when Sally started to count.
"Here I go!" She said. "1…2…"
As I aiming at the back of her head, I slowly remembered what happened in the past…
"Were doing everything we can to help her…"
"…3…4…"
"The doctor told us that just last week, they found a cure for the illness and are giving out the first batches on Friday."
"Even better. Sally is starting to feel well. Sure she's still feeling weak a little, but her fever is going down. So she is going to be okay. Thank god…"
"…5…6…"
"Take care! And if you do come back, make sure to care for Sally as well!"
"Once again, thank you for doing this for our daughter, Steven. Were just glad that someone supports in helping her out."
"I agree. That's the most generous thing someone has done for her."
"…7..."
I then remembered one more memory of me and Sally…
"…8…"
I slowly moved my fingers to the trigger…tears draining through my body…goodbye Sally…
"…9…10—"
BANG!
