Hello again. I would like to thank thiscouldbealittlemoresonic for the wonderful review. I would also like to thank those of you who have followed and favoured since I started this story.

Okay I would just like to say that I know nothing about memory loss or amnesia of any kind and I have no knowledge of medicine. As such this could well be medically incorrect.

That being said I hope you like it.

Disclaimer: I don't own Supernatural.

The next time the blue eyed man woke he was calmer. He knew he had no idea who or where he was but he accepted that. Opening his eyes he once again he looked round the room to find that the red-headed nurse, Anna if he remembered right, was sitting in the chair by his bed and yet she was not wearing her uniform. Instead she was in casual clothing and seemed to be reading... something.

"Hello Anna." he said surprised at how deep and gravelly his own voice was when it came out of his throat. Which was a strange sensation to say the least. But no matter, Anna had jumped when he had spoken but now was smiling at him.

"Well hello there, do you need a drink?" She asked already reaching for the jug of water on the bedside table.

"Please." he replied realising as soon as she asked that his throat was dry.

Anna moved and poured the water, she then helped the stranger with the amazing blue eyes to sit so he could drink, pulling the bed up so he could stay reasonably upright.

"There better?" She asked as she watched him finish the glass.

"Yes thank you. Where am I?" The man asked looking round. He recognised none of what he saw.

"In hospital." Anna replied not wanting to over load him with information.

At that the man nodded with a small smile on his lips. "I guessed that. Why am I here?" He asked her turning his eyes to hers and not moving them. Wow he had one hell of an intense stare.

"We were hoping you could answer that. You were found in the ocean almost two weeks ago unconscious." Anna explained hoping he would know something that could help her contact his family. She had been sitting beside his bed every evening since he arrived, not wanting him to die alone, but she did not know this man. He must have people out there looking for him, she just wished she could find them for him.

"I do not remember sorry." The man replied with a frown which Anna rushed to remove from his brow.

"It doesn't matter. It is possible that your memories are still in there and they will come back to you with time. You brain took quite a pounding, it was touch and go for a while." She said smiling at him to reassure him.

"Yes, I can tell." The man replied as he lay back against the bed and closed his eyes. As soon as they shut the image of green eyes was there again, he had to know, were they a memory from his now forgotten past or from the present?

"Anna this may sound strange, but do any of the people who have come in contact with me since I have been here, or indeed the people who rescued me have green eyes?" He asked opening his own once again and turning to look at her.

"I don't know, why?" Anna asked confused by the question, it was such an odd thing to want to know.

"Because every time I close my eyes I see a pair. They are not mine are they?" The man asked suddenly thinking of another possibility.

"No, your eyes are very definitely not green." Anna replied with a smile as she stared at the man.

"What colour are they?" The man asked curious now, she had said it with such certainty, he wondered what colour his were that she could be so sure.

"Blue, do you want to see?" Anna asked him causing him nod and so Anna fished in her bag and pulled out her small compact mirror and held it out to him.

Looking at it briefly the man took a deep breath and took the mirror from the nurses hand. He wasn't sure what he would see in it when he saw his reflection for the first time.

What he did see was not what he had expected, though he did now understand the nurses certainty of his eye colour. They were definitely blue, azure he thought, though with that word came another voice (not his he was sure) filled with warmth in his mind. "Sky blue you dork." not that he knew whose voice it was, but it was a nice one.

Pulling his eyes from their reflection he inspected the rest of the image that was his face. His skin was pale, but that could have been due to the fact he was in hospital and had been for a while, and his hair was black, and extremely messy. He tried using his fingers to comb it down but it did not seem to want to flatten. Moving on he noticed that he was clean shaven, he wondered who had had that job while he was out of it. Other than that he noticed nothing out of the ordinary about his appearance and so shut the compact back up and handed it back to Anna.

"Thank you. It is strange to not be able to remember what you look like." He said with a smile to her so she would know that he was fine with his situation.

"I can imagine, well actually no I can't." Anna replied before silence descended upon the two of them. Sitting there she realised that the man was comfortable with the quite, he probably did not speak more than he needed too. And yet after the initial shock of having no memories he was extremely accepting of the situation. She wondered if it was just a defence mechanism he had or if he really was this calm, she hoped she had the chance to find out. She would like to get to know this man, he was a lost soul and he needed someone to guide him. She was happy to be that someone, and she was determined to help him remember who he was and return him to his loved ones where he belonged.

"I had best be going, but if you need anything don't hesitate to ask, oh and I'll see if I can find those green eyes for you." She finally said into the quiet standing and collecting together her things.

"Thank you Anna, you are going above and beyond your duty." The man replied with a heartbreaking smile.

"It is not my duty to care, it is my pleasure." Anna replied and with that she made her way out of the door leaving the man alone with his thoughts. The first thing Anna did once she left was round up all the people who had worked on the man to find those with green eyes, if this would give him some peace then she would do it.

The man on the other hand closed his eyes once more and saw those green eyes again and pulled the memory of the voice to the front of his mind as well. They seemed to go together, the eyes and the voice. With those in his mind and a smile on his lips he slowly drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
