Chapter 3: Surrounded by idiots
Sorry for the lateness, forgive me if my writing skills are not good since I'm a bit rusty and I also apologize for the lack of updating the story since i forget often to play review and stuff as per usual c:
After riding Broom-Yuga for god knows how long, the two teenagers poke the stick which had finally let them down but they were curious of something.
"Hey Kilik..." Xiba began.
I was afraid to answer him so i just sat quietly on the couch while figuring out how to fix the front door. I guess i could just call up some people, oh wait! Haha! No need for that.
"Front Door. Return to original position!"
The door flew off the ground and then inserted back into the doorway. Satisfied, i close my eyes and smirk.
"...Does Kali-Yuga need to eat anything?" Xiba finished.
I blinked my eyes while raising my eyebrows, just what was this kid blabbering about now?!
"'Course not. Broom-Yuga isn't a living creature, he just gained a new skill... wont mean he gained a skill to devour food." I explain.
Leixia sniggers, "Broom-Yuga?! Hahaha! What kind of name is that?"
I glare at Leixia, "Hey, you! I wouldn't try my luck if i were you because your nickname might be Lame Leixia!"
Leixia pouts, "Stupid Uncle Kilik!"
"Hey, I don't mean to spoil your fun and all but... Weren't we on a mission to find mother and step-father?" Xiba asked as he scratched the side of his face with his forefinger.
Ah, shivers! I... just why did i lose focus of what was important right now? I grabbed the hovering Kali-Yuga and clutched it into one of my hands and walked out the front door.
"Does this mean we're going now?" Leixia asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Damn right it is." I said raising my hand with the Kali-Yuga and shout, "Kali-Yuga, give me strength!"
Suddenly as i take a step forward, Kali-Yuga forcefully found it's way out of my hands and made it's way to Xiba... i could understand that it wants Xiba to be it's new master but i just couldn't respect that decision right now. I had a conflicted expression, i couldn't tell what to do at that moment... both teenagers looked at me with that pitiful expression.
"Do you seriously want to leave me?" I piteously ask with a look of disappointment.
Xiba puts both his hands out and the rod lays flat on there, without even moving an inch after that. I lower my head... i felt pretty unwanted after that... Kali-Yuga has been with me for almost as far as i could remember. Nothing i wanted would stay with me but everything i ever did would leave me, was this world always so cruel?
I clutched my pendant tightly. Soon, this pendant will too leave my side and become someone else's... why am i getting to attracted to these items? I pull the pendant away from me, breaking the string and held my hand toward Leixia while lifting up my head with a bitter smile.
"Leixia, I'm entrusting you to look after the Davapara-Yuga well. Don't let me down." I said.
Leixia gasps in surprise, she takes the Davapara-Yuga out of my hands and gasps at it one more time before holding it next to her chest with a flushed expression, "Thank you, Uncle Kilik! This is really pretty, I'll treasure it!"
"..." I couldn't say anything else... nothing else would come out of my mouth. I knew i would be too weak to lose these items that were once valuable to me but it was my task to, if i hadn't... i would be the one who was a failure.
"Hey, Uncle Kilik... You're not regretting it, are you? You look hurt." Leixia asked.
"Don't worry about that, those items were meant for the both of you to take after. I just became too attached to them and caused myself to become a little selfish but I'm honestly fine."
Leixia smiles. She runs up to me and hugs my waist, she was a little red on the cheeks.
"Hey, tie this pendant around my neck!" Leixia said holding the Davapara-Yuga out on her two palms with a pleading smile.
I chuckle, "Sure."
I put the pendant onto the rightful owner and patted her head.
"Let's go now, no point in wasting anymore time sobbing over these two items anymore." I say, though I take a look at the sky and it was already dark, no point in going so i shove the kids back into the house.
"No, we'll stay here and set out tomorrow... got it?" I command.
"Yep!" Both troublemakers say in unison.
Finally, night turned to morning and we all set out. Xiba and Leixia were sitting on the Broom-Yuga while i traveled on foot. We really had no where to search for because Xianghua and Yan Wujin could be anywhere right now.
"Uncle Kilik, I'm bored." Leixia said as she lays her head on Xiba's back.
Just then, i hate a great idea! Surely Yan Wujin had visited Maxi in Japan before going to his adventures...
"Then let's go visit Uncle Maxi." I told.
The two kids cheer. We all make out way to the teleportation on foot... what? Of course i didn't confiscate Broom-Yuga away from Xiba because I'm jealous that he is the owner of it... okay, blatantly lying isn't going to change anything. Anyway, we arrive and the teleportation were fixed... finally!
"C'mon, get inside with me." I said signalling with my hand for the two kids to get inside.
I insert some money into the machine before i whisper my number code of identity and demand teleportation to take me to Japan.
We arrive on Maxi's street. This is almost too good to be true... everything on this street has changed from the last time I've been here which was about two years ago when i went with Xianghua. I have never came to visit Maxi, i wonder if he misses me...
I got slapped in the back of my head, "What are you standing there so expressionlessly for? Let's get moving, right?"
Stupid Leixia hitting me and Xiba coolly saying things! Just when i thought i had forgotten about these kids...
"Yeah, fine." I said giving a deadly glare before i had passed the two of them and approach the house that Maxi lived in... wait, that's not right... why is it a mansion?
"Wow, are you sure you got the right address? Damn, was Maxi this rich before?!" Leixia said licking her lips and thinking about the presents she would be getting.
I roll my eyes before proceeding to the front door, "I dunno, it's worth a look... Maybe Maxi moved?"
I knock on the door to find, it was really Maxi who answered the door... he was wearing only boxers and they were patterned with multiple soccer balls around them. He yawned before asking, "What up, Kilik?"
"...Mind wearing some pants?" I said pointing downwards with my forefinger, " I have Xiba and Leixia with me.."
Leixia had pushed me out of the way and her eyes turned into two hearts. She grasped her hands together and held them next to her head, "Oh, Maxi! Were you ever this handsome?!"
Was Leixia drooling? What was up with teenage girls? I stood up and brushed myself off the dirt that had came onto me when i had fell onto the ground. Anyways! How was Maxi ever this attractive to get Leixia's eyes like that?! He has such strange hair! To be honest, i was a little hurt... Xianghua always secretly told me that i was more handsome then him but i guess that no longer stands due to aging.
I hit Leixia across the head and pull down on her ear as i whispered, "Don't flatter Maxi, he has a massive ego that will grow!"
"Sorry, Kilik." Maxi said scratching the back of his hair and once again yawning, "That useless clothes machine stopped working a few days ago and I've been too lazy to fix it."
If you're wondering what Maxi is talking about; in the future, or currently at this time, there are machines that are shaped like wardrobes where you walk in and you come out completely clothed. There are also some very amazing clothes machines that are also shower-powered so after taking off your clothes, you get bathed before you put in new ones.
"That's no excuse, we're spending the day here so i suggest you put on something to cover your skin already. I have something to discuss with you."
I could hear Leixia gasping, probably a good thing about staying in his house the whole day.
I let go of Leixia's ear and pass Kali-Yuga onto Xiba before making my way into Maxi's home. I didn't care whether it was a mansion or not but I have things to do!
"Heh, don't tell me that this thing is about Xianghua." Maxi spoke in 'know-it-all' tone.
I look over my shoulder and merely showed a smirk before proceeding my way around the house. Maxi looks at Leixia and Xiba, he could see that Leixia was completely love-stucked, he was proud of himself for keeping up his good looks for even this long then he thought that maybe the mansion was giving off another vibe about being rich...
"Then come in princesses." Maxi winks as he puts a hand on his chest and the other palm facing inside the house.
"If you're trying to be humourous, you failed." Xiba said, sighing in depseration as he walked passed Maxi.
Leixia grabs Maxi's arm, "Then shall we go?" She said in a coquettish tone.
I didn't know what happened after that because i was almost close to vomiting over what i had witness before. I had moved into the next room and had sat down on his black couch which was more comfortable then it actually looked. Xiba then joined me on the couch and let's a sigh escape his lips.
"What's wrong? You've gotten Broom-Yuga back already." I asked, ruffling Xiba's hair. He replied by pouting.
"Leixia, she's just so embarrassing! and Maxi's a nutjob!" Xiba says in agony.
"I entirely know what you mean, though, I'm quite jealous of Maxi's mansion..." I mutter then look at the mug on his table which said 'Guy's #1 sexy hair'. I point to a random direction for Xiba to look at before gently pushing it off the coffee table and whistle innocently as if i didn't know what had happened.
Maxi and Leixia came into the room, my mouth gaped in surprise when i had saw that Leixia still had herself locked onto Maxi's right arm, no matter how to look at it, it's like a perverted guy had hypnotized a teenage girl into being his wife... and Maxi not wearing anything but boxers really just makes this whole scene fit with my crazy imagination.
Both Xiba and i stood up in the same time and pointed towards the stupid couple and both said in unsion, "Put some pants on, old man!"
My anger expression turned into one greater then bewildered, Maxi actually was sweating buckets from Leixia's embrace... Why was i surprised that Maxi didn't like a teenager's embrace? Especially the cutest female among them?
"Uhm, Leixia... this really isn't the best time to embrace Uncle Maxi, you know..." Maxi calmly said, trying not to lose his cool, "Kilik might have some weird thoughts and all..."
Too late, I already did. If Xianghua found out about what Leixia was doing, you'd be dead faster than your hands can move.
"Hey, didn't you hear a word i said? Go wear some clothes. Unless you're secretly a chick, then don't tell me I have to look at you wearing those boxers all day." Xiba complained.
"Fine, i don't see what the problem is since this is my mansion." Maxi grumbles and has a very deadly aura that made Leixia release her grip and stare as he stormed off until even his black silhouette was no longer within sight.
The three of us sat down onto the black couch, one kid on each side with me being in the middle. It was pretty awkward knowing that Leixia and Xiba weren't their chatty selves but my wish did come true and it was that i wished for silence once in a while... kind regretted wasting my wish on that, kinda wanted to wish my wish on a hover motorbike but i doubt it'll last a day at my house if Xiba and Leixia are around.
"...Xiba! Why are you so annoying?! You embarrassed us in front of Maxi!" Leixia whines.
Oh how i wish that i could intercept and say that we were already embarrassing in the first place.
Xiba slapped his forehead before replying in annoyance, "I could be the one asking you why you want to embarrass me! You're the one hugging Maxi's arm and acting all cutesy with him, i don't see how i am at fault!"
Leixia turned herself slightly right to look at Xiba and puts up the middle finger, "You jerk! You homosexual jerk!"
Xiba also turns himself slightly left so that he is looking at the direction of Leixia. I lower Leixia's hand that had that thing pointing up but instead she sticks her tongue out with her eyes squeezed shut.
"See, you're always taking Xiba's side! I hate that about you, Uncle Kilik!" Leixia whines as she pretends to cry loudly and grabs my right shoulder and shakes me back and forth.
Xiba burries his face in both his hands. I really wanted to do the same thing. How did an argument of absolute nonsense start?! And why did Leixia sink this low that she'll even like older men?!
"Say, Leixia... are you in love with Maxi?" I asked curiously.
Leixia stops shaking me and instantly flushes as she runs away into the corner of the room and hides, "No! I don't! I just... don't tell mum!"
"You do realise that Maxi is older then you dad..." Xiba said pointing out the obvious.
"Shuddup! I don't like him! I admire older men... don't tell mum or she'll really get mad, especially since Uncle Kilik had left her when she had you, Xiba." Leixia explains, "Mum still hates you, Uncle Kilik."
"I'm not surprised, but karma got me good." I sigh, earning a few playful punches to the arm by these two troublemakers.
"'Ey, I'm back." Maxi says coming into the room with only some sweatpants.
Instantly Leixia's pounding heart-eyes shattered and she began to cry, "You're rich! How can you even not afford nice clothes?!"
"Are sweatpants not nice clothes? Their really comfortable... oh god! could this be the reason that women don't want me?!" Maxi grasped his head and trembles.
"Oh. My. God." I exaggerate as i stood up and purposely knock some photos of awards off the coffee table, "I cannot believe that I am truly surrounded by idiots!"
"That's the first time I've heard to say 'oh my god' did you pick it up from Leixia's vocabulary?" Xiba asked.
Doesn't a normal human being question first in why they are grouped as being an idiot! Xiba is truly the biggest idiot here! I turned my head and a vein popped from my forehead, the Broom-Yuga had shaken a little before flying itself behind the couch.
Maxi touched his hair before shrieking, "What did you do?! Why did you break my precious mug and push off my award frames?!"
I face-palm... that was it... i not longer cared. "HOW DID I END UP WITH SUCH IDIOTS?!"
