Hello! Hi guys! If you guys are fans of my other story "The Switch" then you know I'm back after losing interest in writing for a while. If not then hello all, I'm sorry I've been gone for so long. I've hit a major wall when it came to writing, but after much love and support from my beautiful significant other I have my confidence back and hopefully my writing streaks. I'm glad to be back and I hope you guys all enjoy this. Thank you for your love and support and patience since I've been gone! I hope you enjoy this chapter!

"Easy" Stef says as they walk into the house. Caleb was finally released from the hospital after a few days of observation. Stef has been keeping a close eye on the boy, watching for any signs of discomfort or pain.

"Mom, I can walk." Caleb says looking back at Lena who is standing right next to him. Lena can't help but to smile at the boy. He's been quick to get comfortable with the moms since they asked to adopt the siblings.

"Caleb!" Caleb looks up and quickly smiles at his siblings making their way down the stairs and over to him. Callie is the first to make contact. The hug is more than Caleb expected and lets out a grunt, to which both moms step forward.

"Let's take it easy on Caleb, yes?" Stef says and all kids nod. Callie lets go and looks at him.

"So, you're ok then?" She asks directly to her brother. The moms allow the twins to have their moment.

"I'm ok. No football for a week and I have a follow up, but I'm ok." Caleb reassures his sister. He can't imagine the toll this has taken on her. He remembered the one-time Callie had the flu and that was hard on him. He can't imagine what an emergency surgery and a hospital stay did to Callie. He was happy to see she was still in one piece.

"We have to keep an eye out for some soreness and infection." Stef reminds the boy and Caleb nods looking at his sister. She nods logging it into her memory.

"Ok." Callie hugs her brother one last time before moving aside so the rest of her sibling can hug Caleb and welcome him home. Caleb keeps an eye on Callie as she excuses herself out to the backyard.

"Hey." Stef says as she sits next to Callie on the porch. Callie looks over before looking back down at her guitar. Callie focuses her attention on placing her fingers properly.

"Caleb is up in his room resting." Stef reports. Callie again does not look up from her guitar and stef smiles at her sadly.

"Sweets..." Callie whips her head around.

"ITS MY FAULT." Callie explodes out. Her guitar forgotten as he clatters down on the porch. "Caleb told me he was feeling sick, and the last time I was sick, we got kicked out of a home. He was so terrified that would happen again he swore me not to tell. He almost DIED! And it's my fault." Callie runs away as Stef reaches out to comfort her. When Stef runs after her she sees the family all standing by the stairs. The front door flung open and Lena on the porch. Stef joins her and Lena turns to her quickly.

"What happened?" Stef was ready to answer but she feels a rush of wind and sees Caleb running down the porch.

"Caleb!" Stef yells out. Caleb starts sprinting knowing exactly where his sister went.

"Callie!" Caleb yells as he walks along the beach. He ran all the way here and he was winded. His voice keeps escaping him the more he yells out. He makes out figure by the water and Caleb walks over to it slowly. He sits next to Callie and she looks over slightly.

"I'm hopeless, aren't I?" Caleb looks over at his sister. "I am empty inside Caleb. I don't feel anything but anger all the time. I am always so angry and when I'm not angry all I want to be is angry." Caleb feels himself tear up at his sister's confession. Caleb throws an arm around Callie and pulls her closer.

"you're not hopeless Callie." Caleb says and Callie looks at him.

"Then what am I Caleb?"

"Hurt." Caleb responds and Callie pauses. They have yet to face what has happen to them since their mother died and their father went to jail. It hasn't even been a year.

"What am I supposed to do?" Caleb has always had the answers. Even when their parents where alive. Caleb knew what to do when their dad came home drunk, when their mom had to work late, when their parents where arguing, Caleb always knew what to do.

"Trust our parents. I'm not the parent anymore Cal." Callie can't help but to look at her brother in surprise.

"What he said." Stef takes a seat next to Callie and both kids look over at her. "Do you two know how many beaches I went to before I found you. I was starting to worry." Stef smiles at them and Callie sits up.

"I think Callie has something to tell you." Caleb stands up and gestures towards Stef. Caleb up to the car where Lena is.

"You're not off the hook you know." Lena says with a small smile.

"I know." Caleb says turning back to looking at his sister and mom. He watches Stef give Callie her full attention. He sees the concern etched across her face and Can't help but to smile. He feels Lena's arms wrap around his shoulders. He leans back against her. They both watch as Stef reaches and pulls Callie into a hug.
