Chapter 15

It had been a few days since I'd finally given into my feelings for Cody, but I had told him that I wanted to do things slowly so that Eve and Wade wouldn't be too mad with us, Cody agreed that would be for the best as well.

Tonight I was getting ready for Monday night Raw and to be honest I was dreading seeing everyone. I was making my way to the divas locker room when I heard someone call my name. Turning around to see who it was I was a little surprised when I saw Stephanie McMahon calling after me.

"Hi Stephanie. Can I help with anything?" I asked feeling even more nervous now and my mind going into overdrive had Eve gone and said something to her to ruin me.

"Yeah just come into my office there's something we need to discuss with you"

I followed the tall brunette towards her office and was surprised to see Cody, Eve and Wade already sat in there.

"Take a seat Kelly." She ordered . The only chair available was next to Eve taking a seat next to her I immediately received a glare from her.

Stephanie sat in her chair behind her desk placing her hands on the table and her legs crossed over each other. "Now I'm not one to dwell on the gossip and rumours that are aired amongst the superstars and divas. However there is one that has caught my attention about the 4 of you, now I don't care if the rumours are true or false but the story line and production team have decided to play on it. So without further a due the 4 of you will be involved in a mixed tag team match at Wrestlemania next month. So tonight you'll begin your angle for this starting with a divas match between you Eve and Kelly. What we're proposing is a backstage segment between the 2 of you first then in the ring Eve you'll get the win then Wade will come down and appear to comfort Kelly only to turn on her and that's when you come in Cody. Any issues?"

Eve had her arms folded across her chest and glared once more at me "So by the sounds of it me and Wade will be heels in this?"

"Yes" Stephanie said sternly

"Well I don't see how that's fair I'm the one who's been cheated on and I have to come out looking like the bad guy" Se huffed

"Well Eve that's a personal matter you'll have to deal with now in the mean time be grateful for the extra air time and the opportunity to perform at Wrestlemania." She shot back and looked at myself and the boys "You 3 any issues?"

"None" We all said in union

I was backstage preparing to head out into the ring. Whilst waiting for a crew member to give me my cue to go I did some stretches.

"Kelly you're up"

Taking a few deep breaths I tried to calm myself and rid myself of any nerves I had. I was never normally nervous before any of my fights but this time it was personal. I knew Eve would be coming for me and taking out all her frustration on me which I'd caused her.

Holla my theme song started, emerging out from backstage I smiled and waved at the fans, working my way down into the ring. Then out came Eve if looks could kill I would be six feet under right now.

Once she was in the ring she pounced on me before the bell has rung. My back on the mat with Eve on top of me her fists connecting with my face, the ref however didn't like what he was seeing and told her to stop but before she did she grabbed my head and bounced it onto the mat. I needed to quickly recover but it was too late, she pulled me up by my hair bringing me to stand on my feet.

"You're so pathetic Kelly" she sneered as her palm connected with my face.

"You're so easy no wonder why you dropped your knickers so easily for Cody and Wade" she continued to taunt and pushed me into the ropes.

I bounced off the ropes and ducked the attack she was ready to hit me with, countering it with a kick to her stomach and hitting her with a suplex. Not wanting to let go off the momentum I rose to my feet before her getting ready to do my signature move on her, but my attention was diverted up towards the ramp when I saw Wade walking down with a microphone in his hand. He stood glaring at me, I felt a wave of guilt pass through me. The past few months had been amazing what we'd had but now thinking about it he was nothing but a distraction.

Wade reached the edge of the ring and I walked closer to him.

"I'm so sorry Wade" I apologised

He puts his hand up gesturing me to stop and raised the mic to his mouth.

"Kelly love I don't want to hear your apology I suggest you save it. There's no amount of apologising or grovelling that can soften the damage you have caused"

I knew this being aired out as part of a story line but everything that Wade was saying right now he meant it. It was too personal and I couldn't hope back the tears which had managed to escape.

"You see everyone me and Kelly here were an item up until last week, why don't you tell everyone what happened Kelly?"

I shook my head and cried "No Wade please not like this"

"Not like what Kelly? Why not?" His voice slightly raised and his nostrils flared "Don't you want everyone to know that you was cheating on me with Cody"

"It wasn't like that, I never cheated on you" I cried

"Well it's not just me that was hurt in this was it? Ain't that right Eve?"

I completely forgot that I was midway through my match when I looked behind and saw Eve holding a steel chair.

"That's right" she said as she slammed the steel chair against me.

I woke up dazed and confused in the medical room.

"Hey Kelly, how you feeling?" asked the doctor

"Everything hurts" I winced as i sat upright

"Well that's what happens when steel is connected with the human body with excessive force.

"That bitch" I muttered remembering what Eve did

The doctor then came over to me with a small torch in his hand "Kelly just look at the light for me please"

My eyes followed the light that came from it

"You'll be alright just a light concussion just try and take it easy"

"No worries doc" I opened the door to exit and on the other side was Cody

Before I had chance to even say anything to him and he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead.

"You're okay thank god, I've only just heard and seen what happened. Wait until I get my hands on those two!"

"Cody I'll be fine. We'll be fine and I'm just in shock that she did that, that wasn't planned."

"No but the creators loved it. Tell you what babe how about I take you out for food tonight?"

I raised my hands to Cody's chest and leaned in to give him a kiss on his lips "As nice as that sounds, I think for the time being we should keep this quite for the time being, I literally don't want anyone who works for this company knowing about us"

"So are we an us now then?" Cody grinned

I hit him playfully "Shut up! How about you just come to my room instead and we order room service?"

"That sounds perfect" Cody smiled "I've got my segment to film with Wade now so I'll see you later on tonight"

After a long tiring night of raw I was finally in my hotel room lay in bed with Cody.

"So let me get this straight for one night they allow crime to be legal?"Cody asked

"Yes" I answered as I continued watching the purge whilst drinking the remainder of my bottled water

"Well we'd be fucked then, I can imagine we're right at the top of some people's hate list"

I then felt the water my mouth explode out as I couldn't help but laugh at Cody's comment. "Cody!"

"It's true though"

"Well yeah" I agreed "Well that was the last of the water so I'm just gonna go to the vending machine and grab one from there"

I hopped out of the bed in my grey shorts and a white vest and made my way out of the room towards the end of the corridor where the machine was. Inserting the dollar I bent down to retrieve the bottle I could hear someone coming so quickly hid around the corner not wanting to be seen in my pyjamas.

"You're so bad" I heard a female voice say

"But that's why you like me"

I peeked my head around to see Wade kissing Layla.

"I love how Kelly's come out looking like the bad guy in all this and you've managed to get away it, considering you was going to leave her for me anyway"

"It's worked out well and I've managed to get a match at wrestlemania out of it. After that me and you can finally be together"

"I can't wait although I will miss the sneaking around"

The two then proceeded to go into the hotel room.

I emerged from the corner and disbelief and went back to my room.

"You okay? You took your time?" Cody asked

"Yeah well that's because I've just found out Wade was actually cheating on me with Layla" I answered as I got back into bed

"So he's giving you a hard time when you didn't even do anything! The son of a bitch I'll teach him a lesson"

Sighing I rested my head against Cody's chest and continued to watch the Purge. "I'd purge his and Layla's ass right now"
