The five sat in the nursery, watching Nova and Jacob blew spit bubbles as Amber cried in Hekapoo's arms and Sophia rubbed her slightly swollen stomach. Marco looked over at Sophia and leaned closer, "How are you and the little one feeling?"
"We're fine…the little one is just making me irritated," Sophia sighed and shook her head, "But we're fine," Marco nodded before Amber's cries grew louder.
Everyone looked at Hekapoo and her eyes widened, "H-poo?" she ignored Marco's pet name and Marco tilted his head to the side, "It must be bad if you're not yelling at me for calling you that,"
Hekapoo remained silent and Star arched a brow, "What…what's wrong? Did a portal open somewhere that shouldn't have opened?" in a hurry she grabbed her daughter and held her close, "What's wrong? Are the kids in danger?" Higgs grabbed her son and held him close, "Hekapoo, why is Amber crying like this and why aren't you-"
"It…it can't be," Hekapoo said quietly and the four looked at her in confusion, "I…no,"
"Hey, are our kids in danger or not?" Higgs questioned and Hekapoo looked at her, "What's going on? Where was the portal being opened and where was it leading to?"
"I…a while ago, a portal opened from Mewni and it went to the Amethyst Arcade and for a while, another one hasn't opened, so I figured it was just someone going to play some games and nothing more, but…now…I-"
"Are the children in danger or not, Hekapoo?" Marco arched a brow.
"I think so…because a portal opened from the Amethyst Arcade and went to earth, but it didn't close on earth, it closed in the arcade and another one opened leading from the Amethyst Arcade to Mewni,"
"Don't tell us that," Marco narrowed his eyes and shook his head, "Because chances are, they're somewhere on Mewni, I'm going to go out looking for them and I'm going to-"
"We don't know if it's them, muscles, and we don't know if anyone from earth is on Mewni," Hekapoo took a deep breath and shook her head, "Look…let's…let's just…put the kids down for a nap and then we'll discuss this some more," the four slowly nodded before Hekapoo, Star and Higgs began rocking their children in their arms.
Putting the children in their cribs before they turned and quietly stepped out of the nursery and closed the door behind them. Everyone looked at Hekapoo and Sophia placed a hand on her stomach and slightly frowned, "So…do you have any idea on who opened the portal? And if people from earth are here?"
"It came from the Forest of Certain Death…and no…I can't say for sure if anyone from earth besides Marco is here," Hekapoo narrowed her eyes and growled, "Let's just go down to the foyer and-" before she could finish, the five of them heard Nova, Amber and Jacob screaming.
Quickly opening the door, they stepped inside and their eyes widened when they spotted three figures climbing out of the window with the children in their arms, "Hey get away from-" before Higgs could finish, the five of them were hit in the back of the head and their world slowly faded to darkness.
The five moaned and slowly opened their eyes and looked around to see Star's parents, Higgs's parents, Katherine, Derrick and to their surprise Angie, Janna, Jackie and Hayley all in a cell. Marco narrowed his eyes and glared at the four, "What the hell? How the fuck did you four get back here!" he looked around and hissed, "And where the hell are the kids! Did you bastards-"
Star took hold of his hand and sighed deeply, "Marco, you need to calm down. A rune looks like it's about to come out to play," Marco looked down at his arm and spotted a red light emitting from the top of his right hand.
Marco took a deep breath as the light died down and Hekapoo walked over to the four and pinned them to the floor and narrowed her eyes, "Now, how did you idiots get here, and where are the children this time?"
"We…we don't…we…the thing with-"
"You're not making any sense, dork!" Higgs hissed and Hayley flinched, "Where is my son, the princess's daughter and Hekapoo's daughter?"
"The Kappa took them," everyone looked at Janna while Star, Higgs, Hekapoo and Marco narrowed their eyes, "The little Kappa came to us…he said he'll help us if we helped him…we didn't know what he meant, but if meant we'd get revenge on that bastard," she pointed towards Marco and Marco glared at her and crossed his arms, "After he took our arms and legs from us and then he destroyed our wombs for nothing,"
"Nothing? You idiots were cohorts in kidnapping my kids a few months ago and you were aware of what was going to happen to them. Didn't a little voice in the back of you fucking skulls tell you 'Hey, this is a bad idea. What good would possibly come from pissing them off?'" Marco walked over to them and pressed his mechanical arm against Janna's throat, "Now…what did this Kappa do with my kids?"
"We don't know," Angie said and everyone glared at her, "After we handed him the children, he knocked us out and we woke up here," Marco released Janna's throat, allowing her to fall to the floor before he walked over to his mother, "Marco, you better not-"
"You know the price you idiots will pay is anything happens to my kids," he held his arm out towards the cell door and his fingertips began glowing and orbs of light shot from his fingertips towards the door.
The dust settled and everyone looked at the undamaged cell door and Marco growled, "Great idea, Diaz," Jackie rolled her eyes, "Use the very thing that ruined our lives and-"
"Shut up…I don't see you coming up with any ideas,"
Star frowned and held her wand out, "Glowworm Blast!" a row of glowworms landed on the door before exploding. The dust cleared and everyone looked at the undamaged door.
They soon heard laughing and looked around before they spotted Ludo walking out from the shadows, "Ludo!" Star, Moon and Marco hissed in unison and Ludo smirked, "Where are the kids, Ludo?"
"Oh, the whiny brats are safe, but you won't get them until Star Butterfly surrenders the wand," everyone glared at him with narrowed eyes, "And these cells are resistant to magic and karate boy's runes. You have one hour to make your decision." Ludo turned and walked away as he chuckled maniacally.
