"Hmhmhmhm~" Anya hummed as she and Bond explored the woods near Patch.
Nearby, Loid handed the monster pets, Zwei and Alexander some food as Yuri and Yor approached him from behind. "Ahem, Loid…" Yor cleared her throat to get his attention.
"Hmm? Oh hey you two." He greeted.
"There's someone here who owes you an apology."
Yuri rubbed his head. "Heh… I was so wrapped up in Sea5on's concert that I didn't even think about it." He said. "Listen, about what happened… I'm sorry for going at you like that."
"Hmm? Oh, well, it's no big deal. Apology accepted."
Yuri blinked. "Just like that? I came to arrest you and-... oh, what the heck, I'll take it."
"Where's Anya?" Yuri asked.
"Oh, she's out playing in the woods with Bond. You guys want some snacks? I made some earlier."
"Oh… I wouldn't mind." Yuri said.
"Sure!" Yor smiled as they walked into the home.
Anya continued to hum until she smacked her head against an invisible object. "Ooof!" She grunted, rubbing her head. "Huh?" She wondered as she put her hand on the invisible object. "What is this…?" She wondered, accidentally pressing a button to make the Comet Observatory reveal itself.
"Whoa!" Anya yelped in surprise. "Is that… a space station?" She gasped, her eyes sparkling. "So cool!" She said as she walked up the ramp that led her to the inside of the Observatory. "Wooooow!" She said in awe as Bond moved around the Observatory with her.
Anya found herself going into the kitchen dome with a hum, walking inside. "Oooooh, this looks so cool~!" Her eyes sparkled again as she found a telescope and looked inside of it, seeing the various galaxies in front of her until she laid her eyes on Beach Bowl Galaxy.
"That looks so fun! I wanna go there!"
Instantly, a Launch Star appeared in the middle of the room. Bond barked to get Anya's attention as she turned to the Launch Star. "Hmm? Where'd that come from?" She wondered as she and Bond curiously walked over to it, and then when she touched it, it grabbed a hold of the duo and then launched her out of the Kitchen Dome.
"WAAAAAAAAAAH!" Anya yelped as she and Bond flew across the galaxy. Her screams of terror slowly turned into laughter. "Weeeeee! Hahahahahaha!"
Back in Patch, Yuri casually turned his head to look out the window while Loid and Yor were talking. "...Uh… guys?" Yuri spoke up, catching their attention. "What the heck is that outside?" He asked as they looked to see the Observatory.
"Oh, that's Rosalina's Observatory. She usually has it cloaked so it wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb." Loid explained.
"...So why is it uncloaked?"
"Loid… you said Anya was playing in the woods, right?" Yor asked.
Loid's eyes widened. "...Oh no."

BGM: Jubilife Village (Pokemon Legends Arceus)
"Hmm… you three seem rather new." Kamado said as they arrived back at Jubilife. "In fact, one of you looks like the spitting image of Arezu."
"Ah… uh… it's… a… glitch in the matrix?" Mars said with a shrug.
"I'm not sure what that means, but if it means it's purely coincidental, I can see that." Kamado said. "Where have you three come from?"
"We're from the same village as these people. We're acquaintances." Saturn said.
"Ah, I see. I know it's a secret village, but… curiosity has gotten the better of me. What secret village is this?"
"Oh, it's a very hidden village… a village hidden.. In… um…" Mars saw a leaf fly by. "The leaves! Yeah, it's a hidden leaf village!"
"A secret village hidden in the leaves?" Kamado raised an eyebrow.
"Yes." Mars nodded.
Kamado folded his arms, deep in thought. "Hmm… mhm. Mmmmhmmm." He nodded. "I get it now. Your village is overrun by Grass type Pokemon who tend to use Razor Leaf to shroud your village in secrecy. Of course, that makes sense!"
He bought it?! Team Galactic thought.
He bought it~! Nora smiled.
HOW GULLIBLE IS THIS MAN?! Weiss thought in disbelief.
"Carry on then. I'm sure you three will fit in just fine. …Just one other thing, why are you wearing our symbol on your clothing?"
"Oh this?" Jupiter asked. "There's another galaxy team in the Leaf Village, but it goes by another name. Galactic."
"Galactic… Galactic… Hmmm… the Galactic Team. Yes, that rolls off the tongue better than the Galaxy Team if I say so myself." Kamado walked off.
"...So that's how it starts." Cynthia snickered.
"So… this is how Team Galactic's humble beginnings started." Saturn said, staring at the Galaxy HQ. "Not bad if I say so myself."
As they all dispersed, Arezu was left alone with Mars. "Mars… I… I have to say… thank you for saving me."
Mars smiled. "Oh, don't worry about it."
"How's your arm?"
"Mmm, a bit sore, but I'm sure it'll be back to normal soon."
"That's good…" Arezu smiled. "So… you're from the future too?"
"That obvious?"
"Well, I mean, no one can just… appear out of nowhere just like that."
"Good point."
"And judging by your similar hairstyle compared to mine…" Arezu gasped, grasping Mars' hands. "I know exactly who you are!"
"You do?" Mars asked in surprise.
"Of course! But first, I gotta confirm something. Show me your Pokemon real quick!"
"Um… okay." Mars nodded, calling out her Pokemon.
Arezu folded her arms, nodding. "Crobat, Bronzong, Purugly, a small Lilligant and an Ursaring." She smiled, proceeding to play a tune in her celestica flute as Ursaluna and the Hisuian Lilligant came running over, while also calling out a few other Pokemon.
"Oh, you have a Bronzong and a Purugly too." Mars said.
"Yup!" Arezu nodded as the Ursaring stared at the Ursaluna, both of them staring at each other as Ursaluna got on his hind legs and roared in his face. The Ursaring returned the favor as they soon got into a fight.
"H-hey! Knock it off, you two!"
"Wait." Arezu spoke up as both Pokemon clawed at each other, pushing each other and roaring in their faces… before they stopped. Both of them smirked, nodding in respect for one another as the Ursaluna went back on all fours. "Just as I thought, they were testing each other's might!"
"Phew…" Mars sighed in relief as Arezu grasped Mars' hands with a twinkle in her eye.
"You're my descendant!"
"Wh-whoa! What made you jump to that conclusion?"
"Think about it. Similar hair style, same build, similar voice, similar Pokemon… come on, Mars. I'm not dumb. You're my descendant!" She grinned.
Mars sighed. "Alright, you got me. I'm your descendant."
"Awesome!" Arezu fangirled. "Wait! That means when I died, you… oh gosh, no wonder you came when you did! You saved me so you could still live in your timeline." Arezu hugged her tightly. "Thank you… you're a hell of a trooper!"
Mars said nothing, but instead she smiled and gently hugged her. "Yeah, I know." She smiled as Cynthia watched this from afar along with Steven.
"I feel like I should put a stop to this… but then again, I've been interacting with my ancestor so… uh… I guess nothing bad's happening."
"Personally, I'd say time paradoxes are a bunch of mumbo jumbo… then again, there was that bit with Mars." Steven said before shrugging. "Guess it's not too bad as some people make it out to be."
"Yeah."
"Look at you guys bonding. It's adorable." Ruby said as she and Marnie walked over.
"Yeah, it's pretty cute, honestly."
"Aw, thanks!" Arezu smiled.
"...By the way, I have to ask." Mars said. "What's with the bandages on your arms? Is it for aesthetic purposes for this time hopping adventure or…?"
Ruby looked at Marnie. "Redo each other's bandages after this?"
"Sure." Marnie nodded and then turned to the duo. "Well, it's not so much as aesthetic, more like… not wanting to draw too much attention for ourselves." She said, both of them undoing the wraps.
"Oh!" Arezu said in surprise. "That's a… metal arm!"
"My eyes are also not biological." Marnie said as Mars took a closer look.
"Cybernetics… were you born a cyborg?"
"No. I was one hundred percent biological. However, there was one instance where I was in combat with an asshole who was obsessed with me. He destroyed my weapon and, in turn, cut my eyes out in one swing."
"Oooh…" Mars and Arezu grimaced.
"And, despite me being blind, I took a hit that was meant for my surrogate little bro. My whole arm was cut off. I would be lying if I said I wasn't terrified out of my mind. I mean, here I was, totally blind yet I was able to take a hit meant for him. I couldn't feel anything. My friends stopped the bleeding, and in turn, I had cybernetics put into me."
"Don't you miss them? Your eyes and arm… you lost a part of yourself."
"Yes. There's not a day that goes by when I don't think about them. However, I eventually moved on. It took some time, but I was able to get out of this darkness. So yeah, I'm pretty much ten percent cyborg… but it's not all that bad, honestly. Enhanced eyesight, the ability to use my hand as a grappling hook… it's pretty great."
"Yeah, like how you were able to successfully kidnap Peach." Ruby said.
"...I wouldn't call it successful. I had a bump in the road. Friggin' Balthus hits like a monster truck…" Marnie grumbled.
"That would explain the ice pack." Ruby giggled.
"Yeah yeah, he softened me up for you guys." Marnie rolled her eyes with a chuckle.
"So how about you?" Mars asked.
"Well, kinda similar to Marnie. There was this hag who was obsessed with taking me out and I had a lot of panic attacks because of her. However, I was able to defeat her." She raised up her rose arm. "She did destroy my arm to the point where it had to be amputated. It wasn't pretty… let's just say there's a goddess out there who specializes in plants. She made me a new arm that's entirely made out of plant."
"Whoa… so you're part plant?" Arezu asked.
"Yeah, and she's also part elepha-" Marnie stopped herself. "I mean… part… cookie eater!"
Mars tilted her head. "What's wrong with saying elephant?"
"Shhhh!" Marnie put her hands on Mars' mouth, slowly turning her head and seeing Ruby sulking nearby. "Crap…"
"Chainsaws… elephant hips…"
"...I'm gonna go with a bad nightmare that traumatized her pretty badly." Arezu said.
"If only you knew the half of it." Marnie ran over to Ruby. "Rubes! It's gonna be okay. Think of happier animals aside from… that!"
The two of them looked at each other, shrugging it off. "Wanna see something cool?" Arezu asked.
"What is it?"
"Come on, I'll show ya!"

"Not everyday you invite me to come with you." Bereto said.
"Well, thought I could use the company." Yang chuckled as they wandered around the Crimson Mirelands at night.
"I'm honored." Bereto smiled. "So why'd you decide to come out here?"
"Oh, I was just curious to see what we'll see at night, aside from your typical Ghost Pokemon."
"Ah." Bereto nodded. "...By the way, does mom seem strange to you lately?"
"Which one?"
"Summer."
"Ooooh yeah, she's definitely being strange." Yang agreed. "In fact, she's been acting odd. Like, several nights, she's feeling fine… probably… and then one day, she's acting a little weird. I've never seen her like that before."
"Indeed. Even I'm noticing Summer's acting off. Now, normally, considering this is Plasma, I would've let this slide if someone like Nora said it. But this is our mother we're talking about."
"What would you have done if it was my birth mother?"
"Honestly? I probably wouldn't have cared. She's a bandit, my sister and I used to be bandits, so of course we'd say something tough just to scare the heck out of anyone… though that was my sister's forte."
"Heh, I'm still amazed that she used to be a total bitch when now she's a total sweetheart."
"Yeah… heh, well, thank Sothis for that."
"Sooooo… you into anyone lately?"
"Well… there's one person I'm kinda smitten with. Though I'm… definitely not sure how they would feel."

Yang grinned. "Totally cool if you're into guys. So! Who's the lucky guy? Is it Fuyuhiko? …Wait, no, can't be him… everyone knows he and Peko are a couple, no matter how hard they deny it. Uh… oh! Kazuichi!"

"Yeah, good point. He's more interested in Sonia." She chuckled. "...Sephiroth?"
"No, and for the record, I'm not into bad boys."
"But Esdeath is." She snickered. "Anyway, uh… how many males were there… Cloud?"

"Barret? It's totally Barret, isn't it?"
"I'll give you a hint, it was someone with us on the B team."
"Someone on the B team…" Yang mused. "How many guys were in that group?" She wondered. "Uh… Balthus."

Yang's eyes widened. "No… Yuri? The dude that totally looks like a chick because of that hair?"

"Well, let's put it this way. If I wasn't datin' Claude, I'd probably be dating Yuri. He's kinda cute!"
"Indeed… which, again, I never thought I'd find myself attracted to guys, yet… here I am. I can't stop thinking about him."
"Weeell, why not go up and ask him out?"
"Wh-what? No! I can't just walk up to a royal guard and be like "Hey, I find you kind of attractive. You want to go out and get some ice cream together?"." Bereto shook his head.
"Aww, come on… I'm sure it'll be easy!" Yang smiled. "Come on, tell you what… you can practice on me."

"Yes."
"...No offense, Yang… but that's weird."
"You want to give this guy a shot or not?"

"Then pretend I'm Yuri."
Bereto cleared his throat. "Okay… here goes. Ahem… hi… uh… Yuri."
"Sup. …Wait, no, that's not how he greets people… does he?" Yang rubbed his head. "Ah… semantics. Roll with it."
Bereto rolled his eyes. This is a trainwreck already… He thought. "So… I was wondering if you'd… want to get some ice cream at the Haltmann Ice Cream Factory… just the two of us."
"Dude, are you asking me out? Because, I can assure you… I have plenty of responsibilities, not to mention-"

"What? I'm playing hard to get. You don't know if this boy is gonna be easy to get or not!"

An injured Teddiursa stumbled out of the bush, it was also in tears and holding on to its arm. "Teddi…"
The Teddiursa walked between the two.
"-To go get some ice cream at the Teddiursa Ice Cream Factor-... huh?" Bereto looked down.
"Oh gosh, is it okay?" Yang asked as she knelt down. "Hey little guy. What's wrong?"
"Teddi…. TEEEEDDIIIII!" Teddiursa immediately hugged Yang, crying into her chest. "Teddiursa Ursa Ted Teddi!"
"Poor little guy's injured… what happened?" Bereto wondered as Teddiursa pointed toward the bushes as the two cautiously approached the bushes and peeked inside.
Yang gasped, seeing a downed Ursaring sprawled out of the ground while a few Plasma grunts were dead as a few were injured.
"It would've gone a lot smoother if you hadn't alerted the mama bear."
"Well, excuse me, I didn't think it'd cry so loudly!"
"So put chloroform on your mask and cover the little guy's mouth! It would've been a lot faster!"
"Oh, so I was supposed to bring the chloroform! Well, ya should've told me to get some before we came to this time period!"
"Oh, for the love of Arceus… well, at least this Ursaring won't bother anyone else anymore."
"...You killed this Teddiursa's mother…"
Pause BGM
The Plasma Grunts turned to see Yang looking absolutely livid. Her eyes turning red and her hair catching on fire. "You Plasma assholes make me SICK."
"Oh yeah? It's a few of us with only one of you! What are you going to do about-"
Yang immediately called out Apollo, who immediately let out a loud roar.
BGM: Face It! (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories)
Yang cocked her gauntlets. "Let's put them out of her misery, Apollo."
Apollo snarled as the two lunged at the grunts as Bereto turned Teddiursa around as they heard screaming. "You'll probably not wanna see this." He said.
Yang grabbed a male grunt by the throat, lifting him up off the ground. "N-No! Please! I don't want to die here!"
"Then you should've thought about your actions more carefully." She glared, pulling back her fist and punching him in the gut, sending him flying into the river, which in turn, caused some Basculin to swarm him under the water, where the water soon turned a crimson red.

"Good riddance." Yang said, recalling Apollo as she walked back to the Teddiursa, gently picking it up as it hugged her tightly. "Come on, let's get these wounds looked at."
"Teddi…"
Yang looked at Bereto. "We'll continue that little roleplay later."
"Right." Bereto nodded as the two hurried off.

Meanwhile, in a different spot with Pyrrha…
"Pyrrha, I'm pretty sure that one's an Alpha…" Jaune said.
"I just want to take a look. I heard its cry when we were exploring."
"...You sure that wasn't Apollo? I swear I heard his roar just now."
"I'm sure whoever it was, Yang had a good reason to sic the Solgaleo on them."
"Probably Plasma."
"Yeah." Pyrrha crept closer to the Alpha with Jaune by her side. A few Goomy looked at them curiously as Pyrrha walked up on the mound. Jaune had a Pokeball ready just in case.
Pyrrha knelt down, seeing the shell of the Pokemon as she gently put her hand on it. "...Metal?" She whispered.
"How do you know it's metal?"
"It's my semblance, Jaune. I know metal when I feel it."
"...It's evolved to that?"
"Goo…?"
The both of them froze as a head popped out of the shell, slowly turning to the duo. "Sliggoo…"
"A Hisuian Sliggoo…" Pyrrha whispered. "It's so cute!"
"And dangerous. You know how Alphas are!"
The Sliggoo stared at Pyrrha, the latter staring back at it as she gently pulled out an Oran Berry and gently handed it to the Sliggoo. The Sliggoo sniffed the Oran Berry and took a bite out of it. Its eyes widened and continued to eat it.
As the Sliggoo ate it, Pyrrha gently petted it with her other hand. Jaune held his breath as the Sliggoo jerked back a bit from the sudden touch. "Oh no no no, shhhh… it's okay, I didn't mean to startle you." She said gently as the Sliggoo slowly moved its head and touched Pyrrha's hand, gently nuzzling against her as she scratched it behind the ears.
"Alpha Pokemon aren't that bad…" Pyrrha smiled, pulling her hand away as she waved her hand to get the mucus off of her. "Come on, Jaune. This one's a friendly one."
"If… you say so." He said as the two walked away.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
"...It's following us, isn't it?"
Pyrrha turned her head, and then the Sliggoo nuzzled against her chest, causing her to laugh. "Do you wish to follow us, big guy?" She asked gently as the Sliggoo nodded.
"Goo!"
Pyrrha giggled, pulling out a Heavy Ball and gently tapped it on the head, where the Heavy Ball shook before it shot off a firework.
Meanwhile, with Victor…

"Alright, you. You know more about these Paldean Pokemon. So spill it! What do we got?" Nora asked.
Victor smiled. "Well, believe it or not… I actually have a Pokedex on me." He said. "True, I'm no Pokemon Trainer, but it does help to stay informed." He pulled it out. "Now then, who'd like to go first?"
"How about this little cutie?" Nora smiled, referring to Pawmi.
"Aw, Pawmi. Let just bring it up here…"
"Pawmi, the Mouse Pokemon. It has underdeveloped electric sacs on its cheeks. These sacs can produce electricity only if Pawmi rubs them furiously with the pads on its forepaws. The pads of its paws are electricity-discharging organs. Pawmi fires electricity from its forepaws while standing unsteadily on its hind legs."
"It's pure Electric type. It has Static for its ability."
"Yeah yeah yeah, what does it evolve into?" Nora asked.
"Well, I wouldn't necessarily call this an evolution, but it evolves into Pawmo. It's nothing too special though, it basically stands on its hind legs."
"Really? So it's a Slowpoke/Slowbro/Slowking situation?" Gloria asked as Nora gently picked Pawmi's front paws up and playfully made him stand up.
"Pawmo~!" Nora smiled.
"Pawmi…" Pawmi sweatdropped, its legs wobbling as Nora let it go.
"After that, you need to make it walk a thousand steps in order for it to make it evolve again into Pawmot."
"A thousand steps? Pffft! I can do that in my sleep!" Nora said and then patted the Pawmi on the head. "We'll work on that later, sweetie." She then looked to the Tinkatink. "And how about this little baby?"
"Tinkatink, the Metalsmith Pokemon. It swings its handmade hammer around to protect itself, but the hammer is often stolen by Pokémon that eat metal. This Pokémon pounds iron scraps together to make a hammer. It will remake the hammer again and again until it's satisfied with the result."
"Are you satisfied with the hammer, little one~?" Nora smiled.
"Tinka!" The Tinkatink smiled.
"Thought so~!"
"Fun fact on this little one. Not only are they female only, but they are also picked on by other Steel types when its a little baby. When she fully evolves, she'll have a hammer big enough where she'll knock out any Steel type with a hammer to the head."
"That doesn't sound like it'll do too much damage." N said. "What's the typing?"
"Fairy/Steel."
"Mmm… I see."
"Plus, they have a knack for knocking Corviknight out of the sky in Paldea to the point where they had to change it to Squawkabilly taxi instead."
"Corviknight? That's… interesting. It shouldn't do too much damage to Corviknight… unless if it's throwing rocks at it."
"Well… I've heard rumors that Golem fled from Paldea." Victor said.
"What? Oh come on, it's not like Tinkatink's final evolution punts Golem like a golf ball into Corviknight!" Gloria said. "...Right?"
"Well, considering I haven't seen a Golem in Paldea, not to mention I've never seen a Corviknight in Paldea either…"
"How big's the hammer?" Nora asked.
"Bigger than yours."
Gloria's and N's eyes widened. "Oh… shite/dear…"

Gloria and N's entire bodies went white, Ren just looked absolutely floored while Nora's eyes sparkled.

"THAT'S NOT FOCKIN' POSSIBLE FOR SUCH A WEE THING TO HOLD SUCH A HEAVY OBJECT!" Gloria yelled.
"Says the girl who casually holds a fifty kilogram Dragapult as a rocket launcher." Victor said.
"In Unovan terms, that's… a hundred and ten pound Dragapult." N looked at Gloria in surprise.
"And let's not forget you're throwing Falinks like grenades. You're holding all of them, which is sixty two kilograms." Victor added.
"A hundred and thirty six point seven…" N sweatdropped.
Gloria blushed, folding her arms. "...Point taken…"
"Let's not forget Sandaconda. How big is that thing?" Ren asked. "She uses that thing like a shotgun."
"Sixty five point five kilograms."
"A hundred forty four point four pounds."
Nora looked at Gloria. "Soooo, are you putting in rookie numbers? I'm sure you can pick up a heavy hammer such as that~"

"Tarountula, the String Ball Pokemon. The ball of threads wrapped around its body is elastic enough to deflect the scythes of Scyther, this Pokémon's natural enemy. The thread it secretes from its rear is as strong as wire. The secret behind the thread's strength is the topic of ongoing research."
"Wire webbing? Cool!" Nora said.
"Insomnia… alrighty then."
"Heh, well, it's a cute little guy." Ren said, patting the Tarountula on the head.

"What's it's typing?" N asked.
"Pure Bug type."
"I see… and now what about the Pokemon I have?'
"Let me see here…"
"Revavroom, the Multi-Cyl Pokemon and the evolved form of Varoom. It creates a gas out of poison and minerals from rocks. It then detonates the gas in its cylinders— now numbering eight—to generate energy. Revavroom viciously threatens others with the sound of its exhaust. It sticks its tongue out from its cylindrical mouth and sprays toxic fluids."
"Definitely a Poison type." N nodded.
"Steel/Poison actually." Victor corrected. "I've actually seen some people trick out Revavroom into full fledged automobiles. Apparently, they don't seem to mind it and thoroughly enjoy it."
"Wait, did you say Steel?" Nora asked. "...How much does it weigh?"
"Lass, DON'T!"

Nora looked at Gloria smugly. "Sooo, think you can lift that up or is that too heavy for ya?"
Gloria gave Nora a deadpanned stare. "Nora."
"Yes~?"
"Fock ye."
Nora giggled. "Love you too!"
"Hmm… wait… a Steel/Ghost type, hmm?" N wondered. "Perhaps when this adventure is over, I have a pretty good feeling who I should give this to." He mumbled to himself.
"So, what shall we name these guys?" Nora asked. "For this Tinkatink, I'm thinking of naming her… Magnhild!"
"Tinka~!"
"For Pawmi… hmm…"
"How about… Defib?" Victor suggested.
"Defib? As in… Defibrillator?"
"Yes."
"That sounds stupid." Gloria said as Victor whispered in her ear. "...Revival what now? …Shite, that's genius!"
"I heard revival, so… Defib it is!" Nora grinned.
"Hmm… I got it." Ren said. "Weber."
"Tao! Tao!"

Victor chuckled. "I had a feeling."
Meanwhile, with Arezu and Mars…
"Alright, and a one and a two… and a one two three four!" Arezu cued.
"Lilliiiii!" Lilligant cried as she danced happily.
"Okay… I'm not sure why you're-" She would notice the Hippopotas and Hippowdon coming out of the mud pits. "Well, it seems to attract the Pokemon."
"Oh, just watch~!" Arezu smiled as Lilligant twirled around. The Hippopotas and Hippowdon started to dance to the beat… before they started breakdancing.
"B-B-Buh… buh-... BREAKDANCING HIPPOPOTAS AND HIPPOWDON?!"
"They worship the heck out of Lilligant, so of course they wanna dance with her!"
"...Oh. My. Goodness." Mars jawdropped, unaware of Akari sneaking into the mud pit and grabbed an item.
"Is this that charm that he wanted?" She wondered and then looked up. "...I'm not even going to ask." She said as she crawled out of the mud pit.
Meanwhile, with Saturn…
"Excuse me!" A nurse caught his attention. "I was hoping you could help me out with something."
"Oh, sure, what is it that you need?" Saturn asked.
"Well… a patient's back is in critical condition and he's bedridden. I was hoping there would be some sort of medicine that can help out with this sort of thing."
"Okay, what are you looking for?"
"I'm thinking maybe a certain type of poison that can help out… like… a Croagunk's poison."
Saturn raised an eyebrow. "Well, I do have a Toxicroak. Croagunk evolves into that. Maybe that can help?"
"Oh! Absolutely!" She smiled as Saturn called out his Toxicroak.
"Toxic?"
"Excuse me, Toxicroak… you wouldn't mind sharing some of your poison with me, would you? I'm only doing this for scientific purposes."
"Croak…" Toxicroak's hand turned purple. "TOXICROOOOOAK!" He poison jabbed the nurse in the side.
"Ack!" Saturn yelped.
"Agh! Nnngh! Definitely… has a bite to it…!" She fell over, twitching. She immediately pulled out a syringe and stabbed where Toxicroak had hit her, pulling out all the poison. "Gaaaah! Hooo, that's what I needed! This will help out immensely. Thank you so much!" She took off running.
Saturn sweatdropped. "...You didn't have to go that far."
Toxicroak shrugged. "Crooooak."
Marnie watched this from afar. "...Glad she didn't ask for my Toxicroak."
Meanwhile, with Ruby…
"Miss Rose." Ozpin called her.
"Hmm?" Ruby turned her head.
"If I may have a word with you for a moment."
"Oh, sure." Ruby walked over to Ozpin as he walked into the hotel lobby with her. "What is it that you wanted to talk to me about?"
"I have a question for you. Have you ever heard of the phrase "If you love someone, set them free. If they come back, it was meant to be. If they don't, it wasn't"?"
"Of course I have… but, isn't that true love?"
"Perhaps, but I can also imagine that this also could apply to your mother."

"My… mother?"
"Ruby, we all know that you love your mother very much. But… do you love her enough to see her off?"
"What? Of course! She should be leaving any day now!" She said, her voice softening.
"Miss Rose. I can tell that you're lying."
"What?"
"You sound unsure. Is everything alright between you?"
"Yeah, I mean, we have a good relationship. Everything's fine between us and-" He continued to look at her. "...Okay! You got me… I'm… actually pretty terrified of her leaving. She's… my best friend and if she leaves, I feel… like there will be this big empty void in my heart that won't be filled…"
"Ah, so you're not ready to part with her then."
"No, not really…"
"Truth be told, you're not the only one who's ready to leave."
"How so?"
"As it turns out, Summer doesn't feel like she's ready either."
"Oh…"
"It will be hard for the both of you… but I'm sure both of you will be strong enough to move on." He said, both of them unaware of Oran having snuck out of bed and eavesdropped on the conversation with his sister and Ozpin.
"Both of them are afraid…?"
"Pardon me for interrupting." Mavis phased through the wall. "But, I think Summer needs Ruby right now."
"What for?" Ruby asked.
"She's not herself."
"Yeah… I've gathered. Does she need me?"
"I think she does."

With Summer…
"I dunno, Byleth… every time I grab one of those wisps, I'm getting flashbacks of things that I've never seen before and I'm… I'm not sure what it is, but I feel like… something is starting to get to me."
"What makes you say that?"
"Like… something is trying to take over. My chest is burning, I have a massive headache, I'm getting chilled… ghosts don't get any of that! …As far as I know anyway. And… I have these spells where I black out. When I come around, I'm in a whole different area."
"That's disturbing… and yeah, I've noticed you've been acting a little aggressive lately, such as what you said to this one Plasma grunt."
Summer sighed. "I'm… scared. I don't know what will happen to me if I gather more of these things, but it's like they're calling to me. Like I… Like i'm trying to be whole again. It's… ever since I grabbed that first wisp. It should've gone in this little key thing but they keep going into me! And what's weird is that this little girl thought it'd be best if me and Mavis would be perfect for this."
"And Mavis hasn't caught anything?"
"No."
"Very disturbing…" Byleth mumbled. "Mom, I hate to say this, but I feel like you're starting to get corrupted by whatever these wisps are."
"Dammit… what am I supposed to do?"
"For starters… we hold you back by any means necessary. Maybe one of us can hold it for you."
Summer closed her eyes. "That would probably be for the best…"
Meanwhile, at Alabaster Icelands…
"Sooo… why exactly did you come here?" Maia asked as she, Raven, Tai and Qrow walked around a snowy forest.
"I'm not sure… but maybe we can find something that could help Summer out." Raven said. "Because, by golly, I'm not going to let whatever is inside of her possess her."
"I'm so with you there." Tai nodded.
"Agreed." Qrow said as they walked through the snowy forest, but as they did, Maia picked up on something moving toward them.
"What was that?" Maia asked as they turned to see a shadow moving toward them rapidly and then leaping into the air.
"ZOOOROOOOOOO!"
BGM: Battle! Wild Pokemon (Pokemon Legends Arceus)
Raven swiftly pulled her sword out and pushed Maia to the side and blocked a Zoroark's Shadow Claw. "Don't even think about it!"
"Is that a Zoroark?" Qrow asked.
"Probably a Hisuian variant!" Tai said.
Zoroark snarled, slashing at Raven as she countered it. "Fall back! Now!" She said, opening up a portal. "That'll lead you to Rosie! Go! I'll hold it off!"
"Right!" Tai nodded as he and Qrow ran in.
"Mom…? You sure you can handle this?"
"I'll be fine, sweetheart." She said, turning her head and smiling. "This is nothing."
"Okay." Maia nodded and ran into the portal as the Zoroark continued to attack Raven as she parried it effortlessly.
"Not sure what your problem is, but we only come in peace!" Raven said as the Zoroark hissed and threw a Shadow Ball her way. She got into position and slashed the Shadow Ball in half. Electricity crackled through her hand as she punched the ground to make an electrical explosion, splashing snow all over the Zoroark.
"Zoro!" The Zoroark hissed as it wiped the snow out of its eyes, only to see the portal closing after Raven disappeared into it.

"Zoro…" Zoroark said nothing as it walked off, finding some berries in a bush and scarfing them down.
With Rosalina…
"Alright, take a look at this one." Rosalina said as Zhang took a look.
"Ooooh, I can see some planets from here!"
"Oooh, is that a shooting star?" Luce wondered.
"Goodness, I wish Cyrus gave us such advanced telescopes..." Jupiter said, looking on in awe at what she was seeing.
Rosalina smiled. "I knew you'd come to love this kind of thing." She said as a portal opened up as they turned to see the trio coming out of it and Raven shortly behind them. "Oh hello there. Why are you covered in snow?"
"Long story." Qrow said, dusting the snow off of his knees.
Meanwhile…
"Can't I just hold it a bit longer?" Blake asked.
"I know that look in your eyes. You're gonna eat it." Weiss said. "I can't give it to your mother too. She's got that look too. Your father is also questionable."
"I know how to abstain." Ghira said.
"I still have my doubts." Weiss said as she handed a little girl a Pokeball. "Here you go."
"Is this…?" She wondered and called it out, revealing a Magikarp. She gasped. "Oh my gosh, it's cuter than the statue on the roof!"
You call that cute? Weiss thought as she saw Blake and Kali staring at it. "Back! Back you hungry cats! Back I say!"
The little girl giggled, putting the Magikarp away and heading over to a small stream to put it in. "There we go, you'll be happy here!"
"Karp karp!"
"...I'll get the fishing pole." Blake said.
"I'll get a fire going!"
"Uuuugh…" Weiss grabbed the two by the cat ears and dragged them away. "Let's not make a little girl cry!"
"Ow ow ow ow ow!"
"That's my wife's ear you're pulling, Ms. Schnee!" Ghira walked after them.
"Ow ow ow ow ow! Why didn't you do this with Kokoron?! You know she likes eating fish too!" Blake pointed out.
"That's because she shows more control over her instincts just like your father does. And for the record, she loves eating bread and sweets more than fish and other seafood!"
"Ooooh..." Anime tears ran down Blake's cheek. "You're so mean!"
The next morning…
"Mmm…" Marnie woke up and stretched, noticing Gloria was nowhere to be seen. "Oh… must've woken up early." She giggled as she got up and walked out of the hotel room, stretching as she walked out of the hotel.
As she did, she noticed a young woman curiously staring at Velvet's ears who was having breakfast with Coco. "Hmm?"
"Huh?" The woman turned to Marnie. "Oh hey, you're new around here." She said.
"You could say that. I'm Marnie, what's your name?"
"Oh, I'm Kira Shedo. I hail from the Kanto region. Nice to meet ya!" She smiled. She had ash brown hair, sideswept at the front and shoulder length in the back. She was wearing a black yukata with a white floral pattern, some wooden sandals with orange bands and orange eye glasses. Behind these glasses were yellow eyes.
"Nice to meet you… too…" Marnie stared at the eyes. Her eyes widening. "...GLORIA!" She yelled as she ran off.
"Okay, that was weird…" She said and looked at Velvet. "And you sure you're not a Lopunny?"
"I'm sure." Velvet giggled.
"Oookay…"
"She looks like one though." Coco snickered.
Gloria walked around the corner with Marnie. "Wot? You're seein' things."
"No, I'm not! I'd know I'd be hallucinating at this hour." She said and pointed to her. "That's her."
"Her? Okay." Gloria walked over to her. "Hi lass!"
"Hmm? Oh hi, you must be Gloria. I'm Kira Shedo!"
"Nice to meet… ye…" She stared at the yellow eyes and her eyes widened. "Excuse me for a moment." She took off running and quickly hid behind a corner with Marnie.
"Okay, I guess she's weird too." She shrugged.
"Well?" Marnie asked.
"I can't fockin' believe it, lass…" Gloria said. "Even when we're in another timeline, we…"
"Yup…"
"That seriously can't be, though!"
"Believe me, I can see it in her face. It's just a matter of time before we see the mannerisms kick in."
"Holy fockin' shite… that's Umber's ancestor!"
Meanwhile, in the Obsidian Outfield's lake…
"So, remind me why we're out here?" Weiss asked as she, the rest of RWBY, JNPR, Akari, Willow and Whitley were on Willow's Lapras.
"I saw this weird request on Laventon's blackboard." Akari said, pulling out the request.
"I need some help gatherin' some Pokemon. Meet me at Ramanas Island. - Anonymous"
"Someone anonymous, eh?" Yang mused as they docked at Ramanas Island. Everyone hopped off as they walked toward the middle of the island.
On the middle of the island, they would see a dark skinned male sitting on top of a KO'd Plasma Grunt. He was sitting side by side by what appeared to be a robotic Delibird. He was also smoking a cigar.
"WHAT THE?!" Ruby yelled.
"RODIN?!" Yang in surprise.
"Hmm? Yo." He greeted nonchalantly. "I see you got my request."
"What the heck are you doing here?!" Nora asked.
Rodin chuckled. "Thought I'd enjoy basking in the past for a while." He said.
"But… why, exactly? What's the request all about?" Whitley asked.
"Hmhmhmhm… it's quite simple, honestly. I need you to get me a Piplup."
Meanwhile, in Atlas…
"Haaaaa…" Esdeath exhaled deeply.
"That's it… deep breaths. Melt the ice cold temper in your heart." Klein said.
"...Mind if I get a drink really quick? I'm getting thirsty."
"Go for it." He smiled as Esdeath walked out of the room.
"I can tell it's working." Winter said.
"Indeed." Klein smiled.
Esdeath walked over to a vending machine. "Let's see… lemon lime soda… root beer… ah, Chuckola Cola." She said and pressed a button… when suddenly, a wave of telekinesis pressed against her head. "NNNNGH! Aaagh…!" Esdeath pressed her body against the vending machine. "What…?"
"Join me… and together, we will be unstoppable. Join the Beast Pack! Become one with the Ultimate Lifeform!"
"Ultimate… Lifeform…?" Esdeath grunted. "Nnngh…"
She closed her eyes, trying to fight whatever it was that was messing with her mind. She gasped as she opened her eyes, her pupils turning red.
"...All hail the Ultimate Lifeform…" She said as a dimensional portal opened up as Esdeath walked into the portal where it closed behind her.
Introducing Yoshi's other OC specifically for this story, Umber's ancestor! Also, he had a crazy idea for Rodin to just be there and I was like "Yeah, I'll do it!"
