The group were all situated in the graveyard as Buffy was kicking some major demonic ass. Giles hadn't had time to research, so when the demon began to create a vortex, it took the Scoobies by surprise. Glimmering lights lit up the dark sky, turning it an ominous blood red as the wind picked up around them. Leaves rustled and swirled in the air and as they hit the center of the vortex, they immediately crumbled, turning to dust. With one swift kick, Buffy knocked the demon into the center, dusting the beast with it's own magic that collapsed in on itself. It was just another night patrolling.
