"Alright! Now it's time for our devastating attack! The cutest corgi that will pierce the heavens!" Anya declared, holding Zwei in her arms.

She pulled her arms back.
"Zwei!"
She grinned.
"BREAKER!"
Anya threw Zwei into the air, who immediately did a corkscrew attack into Azure. Zwei bounced off as the Rathalos faked a pained roar and fell to the ground. Anya immediately climbed on top of the Rathalos and stood on top of his head.
"Yes! That's how we do things!" She said, putting on sunglasses with a casual grin, then hopped off of the Rathalos and patted him on the head, where he nudged her with a soft growl. Fox and Yatsuhashi chuckled while Loid watched on with an amused smirk on his face.

Up on the hill and underneath the tree, Arceus rested nearby, watching Anya. "Kids…" He chuckled as he looked off into the distance. "Hmm… it seems Ruby is in trouble…"
"Excuse us!"
Arceus turned his head to see Mikan, Medic and Strange approaching him. "Ah, young Mikan. What can I do for you?" He asked as he spotted Strange. "...I can't say I've met you before."
"I'm Doctor Stephen Strange, I'm a sorcerer from my world. You must be the God of Pokemon."
"Ah, so you're the sorcerer that Palkia told me about. A pleasure to meet you." Arceus greeted, offering his foot as he and Strange shook hand/leg.
"We don't have a lot of time." Mikan said. "Ruby is in serious danger."
"Yes, I can sense that as I am monitoring them on their progress. However, I'm not sure what seems to be bugging her."
"I can answer zhat." Medic said. "You see-"
"Ah, wait… you're the one who operated on the young miss, correct?"
"Ja, of course!"
"Yes, I've heard about you… I can safely assume that you will not operate on my Pokemon, will you?"
"Well, zhat depends if-" He felt a cold stare coming from him. "...I'll just let zhe medical professionals of your world handle zhem."
"Good. I'm glad we had this civilized discussion."
"We can't wait until they come back. It turns out that the elephant hip is counteracting with Ruby's plant DNA and now she has two years left to live. Although… part of me thinks we don't have two years."
"What are the symptoms?" Arceus asked as Medic proceeded to list them all down. "...And all of this is in order?"
"Well… it could but zhey could be all random too. I just know zhe muscles atrophying and death are the last ones."
"That's troublesome."
"Indeed. However, as I was looking zhrough my notes on our way here, I've noticed zhat it will only start taking effect zhe moment she bellows like an elephant. As long as she doesn't do zhat, it will be a long painful two years…"
Arceus immediately looked worried. "And what would happen if she… did bellow like an elephant?"
"Zhen it could potentially shorten her life even further…" Medic said.
"...You're just telling us this now? You said it was only a month after she had her surgery was when the side effects could kick in." Strange said.
"Ja… zhat was when I was in a panic and skimmed zhrough it all without reading it properly. Now that I have my notes, I can safely say zhat as long as Ruby doesn't bellow like an elephant, her life won't be shortened at all."
"...Arceus, why are you looking uncomfortable?" Mikan asked.
"Well… funny you should say that…"
Mikan's eyes widened. "No!"
Strange grimaced. "Shit…"

Medic immediately felt Mikan giving him a dirty look. "Ja, I deserve zhis look."
"Oho, you're gonna deserve more than that."
"Arceus, perhaps you could take us to Hisui immediately." Strange said.
"I will need Palkia and Dialga for this, and I say we do this someplace else. I'd rather not do this at this tree. The last thing I need is an angry cosmic woman for disturbing her mother's resting place."
Arceus teleported himself and the trio to Mushroom Hills, where Palkia and Dialga came in through portals.
With a nod, Palkia and Dialga opened up the time space hole. "Alright, in you three go." Arceus said.
"Thank you. Let's roll." Mikan walked in, but then stopped before she could go in. "Medic. Let me ask you something." She turned to him. "Are you afraid?"
"Afraid? Afraid of what, exactly?"
"The coming slaughter of what will happen to you."
"Ah, Frauline. I have died numerous times and respawned in zhe field all zhe time. I am not afraid of death."
"Good, because it's not Ruby or her family's wrath you should be afraid of. It's Summer who you should be afraid of."
"And Summer is…?" Strange asked.
"Her mother."
"Ah. The wrath of the mama bear. Say no more." He put a hand on his shoulder. "Nice knowing you."
"I am fully prepared for her wrath." Medic said as they walked in, then the portal closed.
Arceus sighed. "Scientists… always wanting to play god…"
With the trio…
"Freaky…" Mikan said as they were floating through space and time.
"Fascinating!" Medic mused.
"I feel like we'll be here for a while, soooo…" Strange pulled out a crossword puzzle. "Stole this from Wade when he wasn't looking."
"Won't Herr Deadpool be upset?"
"Ah, let him cry about it." Strange said, pulling out a pencil.
"Wait, did you say Deadpool? He's here?!" Mikan said in surprise.
"Yes, and apparently made friends with Ibuki." Strange said, writing in a word.
"...Oh boy…" Mikan pulled out a notepad. "Note to self: Prescribe Hiyoko painkillers just in ca-" She paused. "...Do you guys hear that?"
"Zack. Cody. WHERE'S KIMIKO?!"
"Ah, I see we're back in the Pop Culture tunnel." Strange said.

"You… have to help me Crash! You heard them, they want to destroy our island home, humiliate and enslave you, and STEAL MY BRAIN! …Oh, how I envy the simple life of the tribles folk…"

Mikan sighed. No use arguing with pop culture… She thought, covering her ears and taking a deep breath. Happy place, happy place… just think about operating on Ruby… and watching Maria plant a boot in Medic's intestines.
She let out a giggle thinking about it.
"Ah, zhere's zhat smile. She's probably zhinking of somezhing funny, like a cartoon or a funny moment she saw while heading to work." Medic said, then went back to his clipboard.
"Why I oughta… let me at him, let me at him! Here, hold me back!"
"Okay!"
"Let me at him, let me at him!"

"...I think you're missing the basic point here."
"Oh."
Strange looked up from his crossword, seeing Mikan giggle as he shifted his eyes to Medic. I think it's something far more sinister with you… not my problem, though.
He went back to his crossword.
"Hahaha! Yeah, she'd be perfect! A loser on the loser squad!"
"Oh, you like spirit? You're about to become one!"
Meanwhile, back in Hisui…
BGM: Paris Rooftops (Sly 2: Band of Thieves)
Arezu hid behind a wall, peeking behind the corner with Rotom and Klefki. "Okay, coast is clear." She said as the trio quickly took off running before hiding behind a flower pot. She peeked behind it to see a security camera looking around the hallway.
"Dammit… I don't know what that is but I've a feeling it's bad news."
"Roto!" Rotom flew over to the security camera and went inside of it, as the security camera turned orange with two of his eyes appeared above the lens and his mouth just below it. He immediately turned as hard as he could to snap the camera off as Rotom got out of it as the camera crashed into the ground.
"Nice one!" Arezu grinned as Rotom flew toward her as they quickly took off, only to see a small group of Plasma Grunts rounding the corner. Shit! She turned her head to see a door near her as she quickly opened it up and closed the door as soon as the Pokemon went through.
"Phew…"
"Klef Klef!" Klefki pointed over through the closet they ran into, seeing a green floor panel on the ground. Arezu curiously walked over to it.
"What is this…?" She wondered and curiously pressed it, where she was teleported away. "WHOA!" She yelled, finding herself in a kitchen. "What in the hell…?!"
"Roto Roto!" Rotom said as he and Klefki teleported over.
"Okay, that's disorienting…" She mumbled as she grabbed her bearings and looked around. "Whoa… what is this place…?" She wondered as she looked around the kitchen, spotting a sink as she looked over to it. She tilted her head and turned the faucet on, immediately jumping in surprise when water came out of it.
"Yah! That's… what in the…" She blinked, putting her hand over the water. "Cold…" She turned the other knob on. "Warm…?"
Rotom and Klefki looked around the room… only to turn around and see Arezu drinking the water out of the faucet, turning the hot water off and drinking the cold water. "Aaaaah, tasty!" She smiled, turning it off.
She turned around to see the fridge, rubbing her chin in thought. "What's a drawer doing in here?" She wondered, opening it up. "...And why is there food in it?! …Come to think of it, why is it so cold in here?!"
A door started to open as Rotom and Klefki turned around and proceeded to dump all the food out of the fridge and shoved Arezu inside. "Wah! Hey!" She yelped as Klefki went inside as Rotom immediately started to take over the fridge.
A Plasma Grunt walked in, humming to herself. "Let's see… the snacks should be around here somewhere…"
"What the hell are you doing?!" Arezu whispered as she noticed a small glass window inside the fridge as she peeked outside to see the Plasma Grunt. "Oh…"
"Hmhmhmhm-... what the…?" The grunt looked down on the ground and then looked at the fridge. "Dammit, a frickin' Rotom got in it! Look buddy, I say you get out now or so help me-"
"Zzzt! I can think of a better idea."
"What do you-"
The door swung open as Areza grabbed her and pulled her in. "C'mere!"
"Wah!"
The door closed as the fridge immediately started to bounce around while a fight broke out inside, then the now nearly naked Plasma Grunt slammed into a kitchen counter as Arezu, now wearing the Plasma uniform, hopped out of the fridge.
"Fits like a glove." She said and turned to the Rotom Fridge. "I didn't know you could actually speak."
"Zzzt! Only when I take over machinery!" He said and then got out of the fridge. "Roto Roto!"
Arezu sweatdropped. "Okay then…" She then stored the KO'd Plasma Grunt inside of the fridge. "That'll give her time to chill out." She chuckled as the three walked out of the kitchen.
"Let's see… how do I get out of this place? …Not to mention how do I even manage to find Cresselia and get the hell out of here with her?"
"Hey you!"
Arezu froze, turning around to see a male Plasma Grunt approach her. "U-um… yes? Can I help you?"
"...Why is your hair not orange?"
"Uuuuh… because I'm a new recruit?"
"Well, you should get that fixed. All female grunts are to have their hair in an orange color." He said and walked off.
"All female grunts?" Arezu asked before her eyes widened. "...Oh my Sinnoh, Team Plasma is a cult."
The trio continued down the hallway, searching for a way out until they came across a room. "Hmm?" She wondered as she looked at the sign.
"Weapons… De-pah-t?" Arezu tilted her head as she walked inside out of curiosity, where she saw the various weapons in front of her. "Whoa…" She whispered as she walked through.
Swords, katanas, longswords, axes, nunchucks, shotguns, pistols, brass knuckles, dynamite… everything plus the kitchen sink was in the room.
"What the hell is all this…? What kind of weapons are these?" She wondered, staring at the high tech weapons in front of her… right as a female grunt walked in.
"Let's see… what do I wa-" She spotted Arezu. "Oh, hey girl! I didn't think I'd see you in the Weapons Depot!"
"Uh… hi there…"
"Hey, wait a second… you look familiar. Your hair looks like our prisoner."
"Um… I get that a lot!"
"Your voice sounds like her…" She gasped. "You! You escaped!" She pulled out a dagger and approached Arezu. "Now you get back in your cell or I'm going to drag you back myself!"
"Make me!"
"You asked for it!"
She lunged as Arezu picked up a high tech weapon and shot her, instantly vaporizing her on the spot. "Oh!" Arezu yelped as Rotom and Klefki emerged from the shelves. She immediately looked at the sign of what weapon she picked up from.

Arezu looked at the ray gun again and then smirked. "Alright, let's get Cresselia and bust our way out of here!"

BGM: Disaster Looming (Pokemon Legends Arceus)
"Alright, tell us!" Nora yelled as the Triad was strapped to Incineroar's back. "Tell us where your base is!"
"I'm not saying a word."
"Not even at… hammer point!" Nora and her Tinkaton aimed their hammers at him.
"Even if you did hammer me, you would only be harming this Incineroar."
"Incine!" Incineroar said proudly.
"He's saying he can take it a like a champ since he's faced Nora several times in a Smash match." Lucario said.
"Doesn't surprise me." Yang shook her head as Incineroar flashed Nora a thumbs up with a grin.
"Ninja Ni…" Greninja rubbed his chin, looking at both hammers and picturing both hammers knocking Incineroar to his knees. He shook his head. "Ninja Ninja…"
"So… that's what he's been up to." Colress said as he was brought up to speed. "He's captured a Kleavor and a Lilligant, not to mention kidnapping a child…"
"Indeed." N nodded. "He also mechanized an Avalugg. Although luckily thanks to Nora and Tinkaton, we were able to knock Avalugg to his senses."
"Interesting how they got to him first…" Colress sighed. "Ghetsis… never thought you'd go this far." He looked over to Summer watching over Ruby with Rosalina applying a cold rag on her forehead. "And how is she holding up? I can imagine being possessed by a Spiritomb would do a number on anyone."
"Well, she's doing alright. Because the thing is… she's actually dead."
"Is she now? Well, you know what they say… spirits who linger in the world of the living have unfinished business."
"Yes, although this one wanted to help her daughter get rid of her doppleganger. However, she didn't get out of the final battle unscathed."
"Ah… I was wondering about her arm." Colress said and then looked at Marnie. "Speaking of arms-"
"Sacrificed herself to protect someone she loves, even when blinded."
"Blinded? She lost her eyes as well?" N nodded. "And she still got up to protect someone even with no eyesight. That's dedication."
"Indeed." N nodded.
"I don't understand it…" Mavis said as she was with Ruby. "My semblance is telling me that you're ailing…"
"I was fine earlier…" Ruby mumbled.
"Maybe you just caught a cold." Yang said.
"I dunno… I doubt a cold would make her as pale as a ghost." Weiss said.
"Whatever this is… we'll all get through it." Rosalina said, gently kissing Ruby on the forehead.
"Yeah…" Ruby nodded as Gloria handed her an Oran berry for her to munch on.
"I'm surprised you guys are quite chill over the fact that y'all got exiled and the fact that the end of the world is upon us." Kira said.
"Eh, we've been through this apocalyptic song and dance before." Yang said. "Yeah, we'll fix it but it really gets the blood pumping."
"Words from a thrill seeker." Tai teased as Yang laughed.
"Yeah… I will admit though, this whole red sky thing? Really feels boring compared to the star rift."
"Not to mention we've done a red sky before." Pyrrha said.
"Yup."
"I wonder what that was like…" Laventon wondered to himself as Cyllene and Akari returned to them via Cyllene's Abra teleporting them.
"Anything?" Victor asked.
"No. Lian's not there." Akari said.
"And apparently, Mai's gone missing as well." Cyllene added. "It feels like we're at a dead end."
"That's unfortunate…" Cynthia mumbled.
"Aha! I thought I'd find you guys over here!" A voice said as they turned to see Volo approaching them.
"Oh, hey Volo." Steven said.
"You all seem so lost and confused and nowhere to go!" He said as he spotted Lucario, Greninja and Incineroar. "Goodness! I never thought I'd see the day when I'd come across a Lucario, a Greninja and an Incineroar." He said as he walked over to the Incineroar and checked out the muscles. "Interesting, these muscles are extraordinary… and this fire belt, it looks like legitimate!" He said, putting his hand on it as he immediately pulled away. "Ack! That checks out…"
"Incin!" Incineroar flexed his muscles.
"Grenin…" Greninja shook his head.
"Always boastful."
Volo turned to Lucario and immediately put his hands on his shoulders. "Did I just hear you speak?"
"You did."
"Oh my Almighty Sinnoh! I've heard that a Lucario could speak through telepathic aura but I never thought I'd come across one up close! Goodness, looking at you now, your snout is quite impressive!"
Lucario sweatdropped. "Aheheh… thank you…?" He said, as he sensed his aura. He gasped, taking a step back.
"Hmm? Oh, did I come off too strong? My apologies!" He said as he turned to Greninja. "And you-"
Greninja immediately threw a flash bang down, where he hid behind Ghira and Kali. "Ninja…" He did the "I got my eyes on you" gesture.
"Aw, he's shy… anywho! I came to check up on all of you."
"Well… we're not sure where to go, honestly." Summer said. "And to make matters worse, my daughter is feeling under the weather."
"Your daughter?" Volo looked at Ruby. "Goodness…" He knelt down as he reached into his bag. "I'm not sure if this will work on humans, but…" He pulled out a Potion and handed it to Ruby. "Drink this."
With a nod, Ruby drank the potion where some color returned to her face… but not much. "Well… at least I'm not dizzy…"
"Yeah, but ye still look clammy as hell lass…" Gloria said as Ruby stood up with Summer and Qrow wrapping her arms around them.
"I know of some place that could help us out. Follow me." Volo requested as he walked off with everyone following him.

The alarm blared.
"Attention! Our prisoner has escaped and she is attempting to break out of our base! Stop her at once!"
BGM: Multiplayer - Hunters (Metroid Prime 2: Echoes)
"No! No! Get away! NOOOO!" A Plasma grunt yelled as he was instantly vaporized.
"I love love LOVE this thing!" Arezu grinned as the trio kicked open a door, finding some Plasma scientists in the room.
"What the… who are you?!"
"Klinklang, stop that woman!" Another ordered.
"You too, Reuniclu-"
The two were instantly vaporized, causing Klinklang and Reuniclus to look at each other and floated out of the way as the two remaining scientists backed away in fear.
"Where's Cresselia?"
"I don't even know what you're talking abou-"
Arezu decked the one in the face and shoved him into a wall. "Don't give me that shit. Tell me where she is or by golly, I'll vaporize every appendage off of your body until you're nothing but ash!"
"Let him go!" The other scientist aimed a gun at her, where she shot him without even looking, The gun dropped lifelessly to the ground.
"You're the only one left."
"Alright, alright! Here's the pass key to the science lab just a few hallways in! You can take the shortcut by that teleporter in here."
"Good boy." Arezu shoved her knee into his crotch to make him fall to the ground, and then aimed her Vaporizer at the gun and shot it, vaporizing it instantly. "Just to make sure you won't try anything funny." She said and walked into the teleporter with the Rotom and Klefki behind her.

BGM: Cogita's Retreat (Pokemon Legends Arceus)
"Whoa… what's with this secluded area?" Whitley asked.
"A place home to the one and only." Volo said as he walked over to a woman. "Mistress Cogita, you have visitors!"
"Hmm?" The woman turned her head as she was drinking tea. "Ah, so these are the lost ones that I've heard so much about…"
"Huh?!" Steven said in surprise as he looked at Cynthia, then at Volo, and then at Cogita, then back at Cynthia.
"Oh my, you have such a pleasing aura around you." Cynthia smiled as Steven grabbed her by the shoulders.
"Cynthia… I have to ask you something. How many ancestors do you have in this time period?!"
"What exactly do you-" Cynthia took a closer look at Cogita. "Oh! Same hairstyle as mine…" She then smiled. "Well, she definitely has good taste~"
Steven sweatdropped. "...I see."
"Well, as the saying goes… three's a crowd." Ozpin said.
"I don't think that means the same bloodline in different time periods though…" Mavis sweatdropped.
"Goodness me!" Cogita calmly approached Cynthia. "So this is the one who you've mentioned, Volo…" She studied Cynthia and then sweetly smiled. "Well, I can safely say that she has quite the character on her. My name is Cogita, a pleasure to meet you."

"Honestly… ya got me." N shrugged.
"Come in to my humble abode. We have much to talk about." Cogita said as she turned around.
"Hmm?" Cynthia spotted a Pokemon. "Excuse me, Cogita… but who is that Pokemon?"
"Hmm? Oh! Why, that is my own Pokemon." Cogita waved the Pokemon over as it approached. "Meet Enamorus."
"Enamorus?!" Laventon exclaimed in surprise. "I've heard of this Pokemon but I thought it was just a myth!"

However, as Tornadus, Thunderus and Landorus lived on… Enamorus didn't. Something had happened to Enamorus which made her fall into obscurity."
"Tornadus~!" A voice cried as they would see Tornadus fly over and handed Enamorus some flowers.
"Enamo…" Enamorus blushed.
"Thunder!" Thunderus suddenly flew in and pushed away Tornadus, handing Enamorus a rose with hearts over his eyes, and then Landorus slapped him away and handed Enamorus a bouquet.

The three glared at each other before they immediately got into a fighting dust cloud, throwing in their own Pokemon moves for good measure.
"Oh brother, this again…" Cogita shook her head. "Don't mind them. They always fight for Enamorus's affection. Come." She walked into her home with Enamorus behind her as everyone else walked in, where Gloria and Marnie took one look at the trio still clobbering each other.
Marnie rolled her eyes in amusement. "Boys…"
"Tell me about it." Gloria giggled as they walked in.
"I thought Landorus was the peacemaker between the two." Victor rubbed the back of his head.
"Even the peacemaker will have to fight for her hand." Cyllene said.
"Now then, it has come to my attention that you possibly need my help." Cogita mentioned. "Since the rift in the sky is on Mount Coronet…"
"Yeah, but we don't know how to get there! I mean, we do but…" Blake shook her head. "The climb to the peak looks impossible."
"Not with that kind of attitude." Cogita said with a soft smile. "Perhaps we can seal the void by the assistance of three Pokemon."
"And these Pokemon are?" Jupiter asked.
"I swear, if it's the love birds…" Mars mumbled.
Cogita giggled. "The Lake Pokemon."
Saturn gasped. "Of course! The Red Chain!"
"The Red Chain…" Cynthia closed her eyes, recalling how Cyrus once used it to call upon Dialga and Palkia… only to get Giratina's attention.
"Indeed. You will need help from Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf. Once you have all three, we can make the Red Chain." She explained.
"Those Pokemon are in Lakes Valor, Verity and Acuity. That'll be a trip for sure." Cyllene said.
"Indeed… but perhaps if you split up with your large group, we can make it manageable." Cogita mentioned.
"I was just about to suggest that." N nodded.
"However, I will advise that the girl stays with me." She looked over to Ruby. "She looks absolutely dreadful in that state."
"...Normally, I'd protest but I wouldn't mind if I stayed with you."
Cogita smiled. "I'll whip up something for you. And when you have all three, come back to me and we'll watch the Red Chain be made together."
"Right." Akari nodded as Summer gently put Ruby on Cogita's bed with the help of Qrow, Byleth and Rosalina.
"There we go, I'll be right here." Cogita smiled.
"Mom…?"
Summer grasped her hand. "I'm here, honey. I'm not leaving you…"
"Come on, let's give 'em some space." Ozpin said as they walked out… to see the trio still fighting.
"Landor Land!" Landorus said, floating out of the fighting dust cloud and dusting himself off, then he flew forward, grabbed Tornadus and Thunderus's head and slammed their heads together to knock them out.
"There it is." Victor chuckled.
"Heeeeeey!" A voice called to them as they saw Adaman and Irida approaching them.
"Oh hey, it's you guys!" Volo waved.
"How did you guys know we were here?" Dorothea asked.
"You can thank them." Irida pointed up in the air as Unown came flying down and surrounded them.
"Oh goodness!" Rosalina giggled.
"They also warned us that Kamado did something stupid. What'd he do?" Adaman asked.
"That rift in the sky and some pink truck that tore through his bath time caused the big oaf to nearly have an aneurysm and banished the time travelers from the town, and all those who are affiliated with them." Cyllene explained.
Adaman and Irida gave them a deadpanned "seriously?" look.
"I know that man can be paranoid, but that really takes the cake…" Adaman shook his head.
"Speaking of which, where's Ruby?" Irida asked.
"Ruby got sick, so she's resting in Cogita's bed." Bereto explained.
"Oooh, hope she's feeling okay…"
"She's not. I feel as if her life just got shortened immensely." Mavis said. "It might be something more sinister than we think."
"Oooh, did she come across a Poison type? Gotta watch out for those Roselia… they're very prickly…" Adaman grimaced.
"So, where have you guys been? Cyllene and I have been looking for a few of you." Akari said.
"Oh, we were just rounding up our clans to give a rousing speech, going to give it to good ol' Ghetsis. You guys aren't looking at good ol' Diamond and Pearl anymore… we're Platinum now!" Adaman grinned.
"You guys formed an alliance?" Cynthia asked.
"Thanks to that cabbage head, we finally put our differences aside." Adaman said. "Heck, finally cheered this little lady up too!"
"I'm not little, Adaman…"
Adaman gave her a cheeky grin. "You are to me!" He grinned, earning a fist to his shoulder, causing him to laugh.
Get a room, you two… Yang thought.
"Hmm… you know what we should do?" Volo spoke up. "One of you ought to check on Kamado to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid while one of you hangs back with us."
"Sounds great!" Adaman grinned. "...What are we doing exactly?"

"There she is, get her!"
BGM: Encounter (Metal Gear Solid)
Arezu hid behind a table as gunfire was drawn out, Klefki and Rotom hid behind a potted plant. Arezu peeked up from the table and fired at some Plasma Grunts before hiding back to cover.
"Ki Ki!" Klefki spoke up, pointing to her waist.
"Oh, good idea!" Arezu nodded, pulling out a grenade and threw it over the table.
"GRENADE!" A male grunt yelled as they dove for cover but it didn't explode.
"...Huh? Why didn't it blow up?"
"Oh, that idiot. She didn't pull the pin!"
There was a WHAT? Arezu thought as she peeked up from the table and fired at the grenade, causing it to explode the moment one of the grunts picked it up.
"GRAAAGH!" He yelled as Arezu got out of cover and shot through the smoke, killing the rest of the Plasma Grunts as Rotom and Klefki emerged from hiding as they continued to run ahead.
"YAAAAH!" A Female grunt swung an axe, but Arezu bent backwards to avoid the axe swing as she got back up as the grunt swung it again, but Arezu backflipped. She smirked, doing a "come at me" gesture as the Grunt kept swinging at her. Arezu weaved her body to avoid the blade until she kicked her in the shin.
"Nnnngh!" She grunted as Arezu kicked the axe off of her, then delivered an uppercut to her diaphragm. "Aaagh!" She wheezed, falling on her hands and knees as Arezu swung her heel down on the back of her neck to send her crashing to the ground.
"Stay down, bitch." Arezu said as she walked toward a laboratory, opening it up with the key she was given and walked in.

The moment Arezu walked in, she saw Cresselia in a glass dome, currently being electrocuted.
"Liiiiiiaaaaa!" Cresselia cried before the electricity stopped. Cresselia dropped to the ground and her head resting on the glass dome.
"Cresselia…" Arezu whispered, and then the machine started up again as electricity started hitting her again.
"LIIIIIIIAAAAAAA!"
"You assholes!" Arezu snarled, immediately shooting at the machine to destroy it and then punched the dome to shatter it as she pulled Cresselia out of it.
"Cre-Creselli…"
"I got ya…" Arezu whispered, pulling out a Hyper Potion and giving it to her where she started to drink it.
The door burst open as Arezu turned to see a group of Plasma Grunts aiming their weapons at her.

"Nowhere to hide, woman." One of them said, pumping his shotgun and aiming at her… when suddenly a giant fist punched them away.

"Huh…?" Arezu wondered, noticing a robotic Delibird skiing his way in.
"Deli!" He waved as Rodin walked in, blowing out some smoke from his cigar.

Mars stepped onto the small island at Lake Verity. She flashed back to when she captured Mesprit when she worked for Cyrus. She let out a sigh. "Part of me thinks I shouldn't be here."
A comforting hand was placed on her shoulder. "Don't worry. It'll be fine." Cynthia smiled.
Mars smiled back. "Thanks Cynthia…"
"Well now… how does one get in here?" Laventon wondered.
"Maybe we give it a tap on the rock." Colress suggested.
"Do we now?" Laventon wondered as he knocked on the rock. "I'm not sure if-"
The cave entrance opened.
"I'm going to be honest. I'm not sure if that was going to work." Colress admitted.
"Well, hey, at least it worked." Whitley said as they walked in.
"It's not often I get visitors." A voice said as Mesprit appeared before them. "But I do know it is for a good cause!"
"Holy smokes, it speaks!" Laventon exclaimed, quicking jotting down notes. "Mesprit is known to speak…"
Mesprit flew over to Mars. "Hmm… something about you…"
"What about… me?"
"I sense a lot of sadness and regret coming from you." Mesprit said, gently touching Mars' face. "Hmm… ah… so that's why. You used me in the future for nefarious purposes, but now that you've reformed… seeing me is bringing back a wave of emotions…"
Mars closed her eyes. "Yeah…"
Mesprit smiled. "Cheer up! Dry those tears, there's no need to be sad! Right now, you need me to close that void in the sky! Besides, it may not have happened for me yet, but I already forgive you!"
Mars' eyes widened. "You do?"
Laventon wrote down in his notepad. "Mesprit is a very forgiving Pokemon…"
Mars immediately hugged Mesprit in gratitude, the latter smiling and returning the hug. "Oh! Before I forget…" Mesprit's eyes glowed as Mesprit's Plume appeared before them. "Here we are!"
Mars took it and nodded. "Thanks, Mesprit."

At Lake Acuity…
"Alright, this is the spot!" Akari said as she hopped off of Basculegion, joined by N, Jupiter, Greninja, Lucario, Victor, Irida, Steven, Volo, Ozpin, Coco, Velvet, Willow, Kali, Ghira, Blake and Cyllene.
Jupiter turned her head to the distance, looking at the one spot where she defeated Barry who desperately tried to protect Uxie. "I was a fool back then…"
"Well, we all had our moments back then. What matters is that you grow from those experiences." Ozpin said.
"Indeed." Jupiter nodded and turned toward the cavern.
"Ninja Ja?" Greninja wondered.
"We might have to tap on it." Lucario guessed.
"I've always been curious about these… but is it really that simple?" Volo wondered as he tapped on it, where the cavern opened. "Well, I'll be darned! Didn't think it'd be that easy."
They walked inside the cavern, seeing nobody in the cavern.
"Visitors…"
Uxie appeared before them. "Usually I'm not one to get anyone since Pokemon are feared…"
"Oh my goodness!" Irida whispered as she knelt down. "To think I'm in the presence of a powerful being such as you…"
"I do not think bowing will be necessary, but… I'm flattered." Uxie smiled. "Now, run by me something real quick. Who's responsible for the rift above Coronet?"
"Why, if I'm not mistaken, it might very well be Team Plasma." Volo said.
"Yes, but I'm sensing that they had inside help. Someone from within Hisui that helped these outsiders…"
Lucario closed his eyes again, checking Volo's aura as he saw nothing but red coming from him. So I wasn't going crazy…
Uxie turned toward Jupiter. "Is it you?"
"No, of course not. Why would I do something so horrid?"
"Because of what I am sensing from your knowledge, you nearly destroyed this land once before in your time. I would not be surprised if-"
Jupiter folded her arms, smirking. "You're testing me. You know that I am a different person than I used to be, so you decided to test me to see if I was capable of doing something horrendous to this land and conveniently coming to this time to miraculously save the day. You're not fooling me, Uxie."
"...Aww. I was just about to have some fun too. You caught on quicker than I expected." Uxie formed a small smile. "Very well. You may have this."
Uxie's body glowed as Jupiter raised her arms up to catch Uxie's claw. "Thank you."
"Let us be off. Hisui needs help." Uxie said.
"Not bad. I never expected you to catch on to this one's mind game." Cyllene said.
"Let's just say I had… some experience." Jupiter chuckled.
"I wouldn't doubt it." N said as they walked off, but Uxie teleported near Lucario, grabbed his arm and teleported him further away.
"Whoa!"
"You sense it too, correct?" Uxie asked. "Someone in this cavern-"
"Yes. My aura picked up on Volo's. There's something amiss with him… something sinister."
"Indeed. Let us continue to play with this little charade… then we will strike."
At Lake Valor…
"Soooo… anyone know how to get in?" Kira wondered, as Saturn, the Rose/Xiao Long/Branwen family, Mavis, Weiss, Gloria, Marnie and Incineroar arrived on the island.
"Maybe if we knock?" Maia guessed.
"Ha. Right…' Qrow shook his head as he knocked on the cavern door. "Helloooo lake Pokemon, we could use your assistance!" He said and then chuckled. "See? It didn't wo-" The cavern opened. "...What."
"Oh wow, I didn't think that was possible." Maia smiled as they walked inside where Qrow scratched the back of his head.
"Ah, I was wondering if you would come!"
Azelf appeared before them.
"I was getting rather bored just waiting around…"
"Whoa…" Kira looked at Azelf in awe.
"...What are you looking at me in awe for? You have an Articuno! Not to mention Weiss has a Manaphy."
"True, but it's not every day I see another Legendary just so willingly appearing before me."
"Fair point! …So, you want me to help out?"
"Yes." Rosalina nodded.
"Okay, I'll help… however, I want to test someone's willpower. I've been watching you guys from afar… so, I want you to come at me."
"You want one of us to fight you?" Tai asked.
"Yes."
Incineroar cracked his knuckles, smirking. "Roar."
"Not you, big guy. The Scottish one."
"Me?" Gloria looked at Azelf in surprise.
"Yes."
"Okay, if you say so." Gloria reached for a Pokeball.
"No, not with your Pokemon. By yourself."
"By herself?" Saturn asked.

"I want to see what she's capable of without the use of her forms as well."

Gloria got in her stance and then quickly charged at Azelf, swinging her arm at the Lake Pokemon… only for Azelf to teleport.
"Over here~!" Azelf smiled as Gloria turned around and went for a haymaker, but Azelf teleported again. "Now I'm over here!"
Gloria growled, turning around and punching Azelf but she teleported again and casually sat on Gloria's head. "You even trying? You call that willpower?"
"I'm a very stubborn lass…"
"Then prove it~!"
Gloria swung above her head as Azelf disappeared as Gloria turned around and punching her but Azelf teleported again. "Over here~! Now I'm over here~! Yo, miss me with that swing!"
Gloria growled as she kept swinging at Azelf, but she kept teleporting. "Stop. Teleportin'. You… squirrely little…!"
Azelf teleported away. "Behind you~!"
Gloria turned around, growling. She turned around ready to swing… and gasped, her eyes widening as she saw a Crobat right in front of her. "Mmph!"

Marnie instinctively went for Gloria, but Byleth put her arm out. "What?"
"Hold on… I want to see how this plays out."
A cold sweat rolled down Gloria's forehead, her eyes trembling.
"Surely, you can handle one Crobat… or how about a full squad of 'em?"
Immediately, the Crobat multiplied into six Crobat.
"Or how about a full on army of them?"
Immediately, they were all surrounded by Crobat.
"Okay, I think this is a bit much!" Weiss said.

"You… you… YE LEAVE RUBY OUT OF THIS, YE FOCKIN' SHITE BAT!"
She pulled back her fist and unleashed a powerful strong punch, going through the Crobat and striking Azelf in the face.

"Gah!" Azelf flew straight into a wall. "Mmmph!"
"Oooh!" Dorothea winced.
"That looked like it hurt…" Yang grimaced as the Crobat disappeared.
"Uuungh…" Azelf shook it off. "Okay, maybe I pushed it a little too far…"
Byleth smiled. "I think you just helped her conquer something that had haunted her for a long time."
Gloria's eyes widened. "Wait… that was…?"
Azelf smiled. "I just wanted to see how far I'd go to give you that push to conquer your fear. Don't get me wrong, though. The Zubat line's actually pretty terrifying…"
"I don't blame her. Anyone would be afraid of them." Saturn said.
"Indeed." Azelf nodded, rubbing her face. "Yeesh… I'm definitely gonna feel that for a while…"
Gloria sighed. "Thank ye, I guess… oh, and um… sorr-"
"Don't worry about it." Azelf waved it off. "Now let me try something."
Azelf's body glowed, showing off Zubat as it flew around Gloria. She immediately stiffened as she watched it evolve into Golbat. "Hmm…?" Azelf noticed Gloria looking nervous. "Aheheh… baby steps."
The illusion disappeared and was replaced by Azelf's Fang. "Here ya go!" She said, handing it over to Gloria where she was immediately hugged by Byleth and Marnie. "Now then, my siblings have been retrieved from what I am sensing. I'll bring them over to-... where exactly?"
"Cogita's place." Raven said, opening up a portal and walking in.
"Ah, right… Cogita. I'll just let the others know…"
Back at Cogita's place…
"How do you feel?" Cogita asked.
"I feel a lot better… kinda…" Ruby responded.
"Well, it's better than the alternative. My soup definitely hits the spot!" Cogita smiled.
"By the way Cogita, what is that thing you were using to cut the vegetables on?" Summer asked.
"Oh, this?" Cogita pulled it off the counter. "It's a cutting board! …A rather odd cutting board but it gets the job done."
"Hmm?" Summer took a closer look. "Wait… that's a plate from Arceus!"
"Wha…?" Cogita looked at it. "...Sweet Almighty Sinnoh, what are the odds! That would explain these odd engravings. I just assumed it was a rather unique cutting board!" She giggled sheepishly. "Not to worry, I have a few spares… even though this one was a particular favorite of mine."
She handed it over to Summer. "Here, I believe it's more valuable for you."
"Thank yo-" Summer smelled it. 'Why does it smell like onions?"
Cogita laughed nervously. "I… like to enhance flavoring in all of my recipes so I use some onion…"
Summer sweatdropped. "I see…" She put it away right as Raven walked in.
"Hey, we got the Lake Pokemon!" Raven said.
"Excellent!" Cogita smiled. "Summer, let us be off." She said as Summer picked her daughter up and carried her on her back as they walked out where everyone was waiting for them, including the Lake Pokemon. "Oh wonderful! You're all here and-... oh my, you look rather bruised!"
"Ah… I wouldn't worry about me." Azelf waved it off.
"Now, we must be off to the Shrouded Ruins." Cogita said as the Lake Pokemon teleported them all to the spot.
"Alright, let's begin!" Mesprit said as Mars, Jupiter and Gloria handed over the items as the Lake Pokemon started to craft the Red Chain.
"With this, we can close this rift for good!" Volo said.
"Yeah, and then find Ghetsis, get Oran away from him a-" Qrow sniffed. "Sums? Why do you smell like onion?"
"Long story."
"We also need to locate Team Plasma's base… wherever it may be stationed." Weiss said.
"Funny you should mention that. I've heard a rumor about the whereabouts of Plasma's headquarters." Volo said.
"Really? Where is it at?"
At Team Plasma's base…

"What?!" Arezu yelled as Cresselia was back to normal. "What do you mean we're in Mount Coronet?!"
"You heard correctly. They crafted a tunnel at the eastern side of Mount Coronet and made their base here." Rodin explained.
"You gotta be… okay, so we find the exit and-"
"No can do. They drilled a hole inside the ocean. The moment you open it up, you're gonna be swimming with the fishes."
"So how do we get out? Find a teleporter?"
"We could do that… or we can go out with a boom."
"What do you mean?"
Rodin puffed and blew some smoke out. "Have you seen this movie called Kingdom of the Crystal Skull?"
"Huh?" Arezu tilted her head.
"Roto!" Rotom's eyes sparkled with glee.
"Klef…" Klefki whimpered.
"I don't like the sound of this…" Cresselia sweatdropped.
"I thought not. I need you to go back to the kitchen and hide in the fridge. Rotom, make sure you possess it."
"Roto!" Rotom saluted.
"Iron Bundle, you go with them."
"Deli!" Iron Bundle saluted as they ran off as Rodin let out a chuckle with a smirk.
Arezu found the kitchen and quickly hid in the fridge along with Klefki, Iron Bundle and Cresselia as went in with her, then Rotom took over the fridge again.
"Rotom, are you sure you're going to be okay?"
"I'll be fiiiiiine! Just like that one fridge in the movie!"
"...I'm scared…" Arezu whimpered.

"That's gonna be hard to get in!" Cynthia said.
"Indeed… now I'm not sure if there's an alternative path, but I can bet that-" The ground started to rumble. "Oh?" Volo wondered. "Are we having an earthquake?"
"Silly question… Mt. Coronet wouldn't happen to be a volcano, would it?" Jaune asked.
"No, I don't think so…" Irida said.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
They would see a massive mushroom cloud rising into the sky as boulders flew everywhere. Rosalina put up a protective forcefield to block any debris from hurting anyone.
One such debris slammed down behind them, rolling to a complete stop on its side as they turned around to see a Rotom fridge.
"See? I told you we'd be fine!" Rotom said as the door opened up, revealing the Pokemon and Arezu crawling out, all of them having swirly eyes.
"Okay… but I am never doing that again…" Arezu groaned, gagging immediately.
"Arezu!" Mars exclaimed as she hugged her tightly.
"Ooogh… hey Mars… uuuugh… can the whole mountainside stop spinning…? I'd love to get off…"
"That went well." A voice said as they turned to see Rodin approaching them casually with some flame on his shoulder.
"Rodin…?" Pyrrha asked.
"Yo."
"Guys!" A voice called out as they turned to see Adaman approaching them. "I've got bad news! Kamado and the whole galaxy team is gone! They probably went to Mount Coronet!"
"What?!" Cyllene exclaimed in surprise. "...Damned fools, I hope they didn't get caught in a landslide!"
"One another thing…" Adaman said. "I found these three and they said they were looking for Ruby."
"Hello fraulines~!"
"Oh no…" Ruby whimpered as they saw Medic and Strange approaching, along with a very frazzled Mikan.
"Finally… we've made it…" Mikan sighed with relief.
"Mikan? What the heck are you doing here?" Weiss asked. "...And who's that guy?"
"I'm Doctor Stephen Strange, a pleasure to meet you all." He said, where he immediately saw Cynthia, Mars, Arezu, Jupiter, Cogita, Kira, Irida and even Willow's eyes turning into hearts.
"What a hunk!" Arezu said with a blush.
Oh boy… Strange thought as Mikan approached them calmly.
"Ruby… I've got bad news… you are in terrible terrible danger."
"Huh…?" Ruby tilted her head.
"What's going on, Mikan? Why is my daughter in danger?" Summer asked, afraid of knowing the answer.
Mikan sighed. "Well… how do I explain this…"
