Dumbledore POV
"Yes, yes, that'll do nicely" I say to myself in the mirror. I've chosen a pink robe today, one of my many favourite colours; I can feel it's going to be a good day. I potter around the halls, a quick trip into the potions classroom and then to the hall for exactly 7am. Severus and Minerva should already be there, I do hope they like the robe.
As I walk in I can see Minerva eyeing up Severus whilst he's poking the pancakes, I do wish he'd eat more, such a skinny man, he would be such a fine creature with a little more weight and care.
I deliberately pick the seat to the other side of Severus and give him a quick pat on the back, I have to make sure he does eat after all. "Ah, Severus, you never could keep your hands off pancakes could you, good to see you eating little one". I pour myself some orange juice and grab a healthy pile of pancakes myself. I know perfectly well he's sensitive about his height, he's not small by all means, average but dainty.
The students are slowly filtering in, I sit and smile at each of them as they come in. It's a Monday morning, what isn't there to be happy about? I turn to Severus who looks glum, tired and keeps sighing. Poor boy, I shimmy closer to him and put some more pancakes on his place, and smile to myself...the boy always smells of cinnamon. I know why he's glum, two rival houses together on Monday mornings, Severus has never been a morning person but this definitely wakes him up. Never know though, today might be quite interesting. I sit there, continue to smile and have an extra sniff of the boy as he leaves mumbling to himself...what a Monday this could turn out to be, even if no one noticed my robes.
