Hello all you sinners, I hope you enjoyed the last chapter cause this is the start of one Hell of a rollercoaster that's coming. I will not disappoint. Now let's get to some Q&A's
Clown2107: Through it would be a good time to use the enemies of Devil May Cry series here. You're thinking of the Goat clan that has Goatlings, Blood Goat, and Abyss Goat which are inspired by the Baphomets. He might grab the Devil Arms Alastor and Lucifer on a later date.
Demon dark mezzo sangue: Thank you and I think the original Devil May Cry and its sequel should get a remake with Reuben Langdon doing Dante's voice.
Red Dusk 369: No they did not have sex yet. I want that scene to be more detailed and passionate. All they did was made out.
Rennielovesbleach, Jebest4781, Lightblade1121, boygoo500-ShadowDevilHunter: Thank you so much.
Now let's get into Hell!
Mission 19: Wrath of Balrog
Wrath was the same as Dante remembered it when dealing with Zephyrus' rampage due to Striker. He saw that the fields had become a blazing wasteland with scorched rocks and lava pools all over the place. Zephyrus kicked up the ground as he galloped into the wide-open fields moving faster as he didn't care if he ran through the wildlife of Wrath.
"Can you slow this big guy down, please," Melony asked as she was having a hard time holding on. As she had as tight of a grip as she could, her boobs were bouncing up and down wildly, much to the annoyance of her brother.
"I can't even see where we're going," Salvia told his sister as he was squinting from the wind and the smoky terrain.
"Just trust in our buddy Zephyr here," Dante told the siblings as the demonic stallion came to a halt. And for good reason. In front of the three, were skeletal demons wearing iron gibbets over their bodies and were armed with swords, hatchets, axes, or buzzsaws. Alongside them were hound-like creatures with skeletal bodies that were on fire. "Well now, things just got a lot more interesting. Alright, Zephyrus. How about we rock this joint, what do you say?" The black stallion reared on his hind legs as the demon hunter held onto his reins to keep his balance while the succubus and incubus held onto Dante and each other to avoid falling off. "I'll take that as a yes."
"Couldn't he have said yes in another way," Melony screamed, practically clinging to the demon hunter like a baby koala to its mother.
"Not a chance. Now, let's rock," Dante said as he pulled Rebellion off from his back while Zephyrus transformed into his armored form. The Finis demons swung their weaponized arms at the hellish horse and his master, but Zephyrus' armor was too tough for them to even scratch. Crushing the skeletal demons as he trampled them, the demonic horse soon sliced up the more beastly demons with his bladed tail while Dante was swinging around his own sword as he blocked, parried, or cut down the Finis demons. "I bet you missed this, Zeph," Dante chuckled as the horse slammed his front hooves into the dirt. The stomp had the effect of kicking up a shockwave that sent several demons flying back before the horse launched several fireballs at the airborne targets and turned them to ash.
"I didn't know he could do that," Salvia said as he heard the stories from Angel and Charlie about when Dante was proving his strength to the horse demon.
After several more minutes, Dante and Zephyrus were able to defeat the skeletons and hounds. With their path cleared again, they continued on their way to the demon Dante was searching for.
"Whoever this demon is, he must really hate you for some reason," Salvia said as he watched the fallen ash of the demons that tried to attack them.
"Well, it ain't an imp. That much I can say," Dante said as he knew he made one enemy in the Ring of Wrath. After being in Hell for quite some time, he did do a little research about Hell and its hierarchy. After all, imps were considered to be the lowest of the low and couldn't boss many demons around without some way of establishing themselves.
"Could you think of anyone who would hold a grudge against you," Melony asked.
"Try anybody he's ever shot or stabbed, Mel," Salvia stated, knowing it was obvious that Dante had a lot of enemies.
"I'm aware of that dipshit. I just meant anyone who resides in Wrath. Everyone he pissed off is in the Ring of Pride," the shortstack succubus argued with her brother.
"Don't call me a dipshit, bitch," Salvia growled at his sister.
"You want a piece of me!?"
Both the succubus and the incubus got into a shouting match like most siblings do, which made Dante annoyed at the arguing while also making him glad that the two weren't trying to slash the other to pieces like he and Vergil usually did. Deciding to break this family feud, the Son of Sparda took Ivory out from his coat and shot it into the air. Both siblings stopped immediately as their focus was now on the Demon Hunter. "I allowed you to come with me, but if you two are going to argue all the way, you can get off right now and walk back to the hotel." Silence fell after his warning and Dante took this as a sign that they understood. "Glad that's taken care of. I have a feeling that we're getting close anyway."
After getting through so many lesser demons, they made it to their destination. In front of the three was a demonic-looking castle that was sitting on a volcano with lava flowing outwards from the cliffs making a waterfall made of molten rock and a wall of fire surrounding the place. "How the fuck does this demon get in and out of his place," Salvia asked as was sweating up a storm.
"Forget that. How does he stand this heat," Melony said as she fanned herself with her hand.
"Either he's fireproof and he doesn't feel a thing or he wears armor that can withstand the heat," Dante said as he looked at the castle and the wall of fire surrounding it. 'That bartender did say that water is pretty much useless and needed something freezing to penetrate it. Luckily, I got just the thing,' he thought to himself as he jumped off of Zephyrus and started walking right up to the walls of flames. The demon hunter then took out Cerberus and swung the weapon around. The Son of Sparda swung the ice nunchaku around himself in a showy fashion like he was in a martial arts movie. While doing so, he made various battle cries and ice began to spread around Dante's position. The demonic siblings were feeling the heat die down as Dante soon twirled Cerberus from the center ring before slamming it down on the ground. "WOTCHAA!"
Salvia and Melony were in awe as with the sound of howling winds, the giant ice pillars erupted from Cerberus and froze the flames and lava. They were amazed that Dante had a weapon that was able to create something so large in a manner of seconds, especially when the frost and ice spread up the castle walls. "Damn…"
"You going to stand there gawking or are you coming to watch me kick some ass," Dante asked the sibling as he walked forward into the partially frozen castle. Turning back to see that they both didn't move a single inch, the Son of Sparda whistled to Zephyrus. The demonic horse followed his master with the succubus and incubus still on his back, shaking them off as they landed on either side of the steed.
The duo snapped out of their trance as they landed. "Stupid horse," Melony muttered to herself but Zephyrus heard what she said and gave the shortstack succubus a dark look. "Did I say stupid? I meant strong. Strong horse! A big strong horse that deserves a mare. Like a beautiful unicorn?"
"Now who's stupid," Salvia chuckled before the black stallion fired a fireball at him. "Wait, I didn't call you stupid! It was aimed was my sister!" he said waving his arms in front of him. He closed his eyes to get ready to be burnt to a crisp. Only to feel nothing, nothing at all. The only thing he can feel is something hot that touched his cheeks. Daring to open his eyes, the red and black incubus saw that the attacked missed him and turned to see what looked like a Msira demon but was bigger in size. The demonic simian was covered in shadows and had razor-sharp teeth ready to snack on the incubus. Luckily for Salvia, it had a burning hole right in the middle of its chest. "Uh, thanks," the incubus told Zephyrus.
The horse soon unfurled his bat-like wings and took off to a safe distance when Dante gestured for him to stay back while he did his job. "Okay, let's be on guard here," Dante told the siblings.
Both Melony and Salvia didn't say a word as they just followed the Demon Hunter closely, but kept their distance for him to do his job. The three of them kept close eyes on their surroundings since they could be attacked at any moment now. After walking through the halls for a few minutes, Salvia noticed something odd about the torches in each room and hall. "Hey, why do these flames look like eyes," the incubus questioned.
Dante looked up to see what he was talking about and saw that one of the flames had what looked like eyes. 'Gotta give you credit. That's sneaky,' he told himself as he pulled out Redgrave, shooting the torches and snuffing out the flames. As he did, a monstrous roar of pain echoed within the castle.
"I think you did something you really shouldn't have done," Salvia told Dante.
Within seconds after the howl, many Msira demons arrived and glared at Dante, who only just aimed the gun and spun the barrel. "Nah. I meant to do that," Dante said as he opened fire on the demonic simians. He smirked as he sent a barrage of bullets towards the monkey-like demons, killing each of them. Soon enough, a second wave of enemies came in the form of Blade demons. "Now that's more of a challenge," Dante said excitedly as he took Dread out and began to slice at the reptilian demons. Some of the Blades attacked the demon Hunter and dug their teeth in him, but the Son of Sparda shook them off and grabbed one of them by the throat before slamming its skull on the concrete walls. Another tried to dig its claws into Dante, but he noticed this and kicked it back while he summoned Valentino. Unleashing burning moths from the cane, Salvia and Melony watched as the lizard demon turned to ash before sending more to incinerate the nearby Blades.
"Whoa, he's really going at it," Melony said as she couldn't look away from Dante killing the lizardmen. "And it's kinda hot to see."
"Keep it in your pants, sis. You know full well he's dating the princess," Salva told his sister.
"I know that. And it's not like you don't fantasize about joining in or at least watching a couple's fun," the succubus said jabbing a finger into her brother's chest.
"You got me there," the incubus said as he admitted defeat. But when he did, he saw one of the Blades were coming after them now as it was ready to attack his sister, but Salvia grabbed onto her just in time before its claws could slice her. "You okay, sis!?"
"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Jus- look out," she said before she pushed him out of the way as another Blade attacked them but was trying to kill Salvia instead.
"Damn, that was a close one," the incubus said as he was laying on the floor, a foot away from where his attacker stood.
Both siblings dodged the lizardmen's tails to avoid getting wrapped around them or whipped. Melony threw a chair at one of them, only to have the Blade use its small shield to block the attack. Salvia was doing no better as he could only dodge the Blades' razor-sharp claws. He was cornered as he knew there was nothing to block the oncoming attack or dodge it in time. The incubus was ready to meet death for a second time before he watched a fire poker hit the lizard demon in the side.
"Leave my big brother alone, you fucking walking handbag," Melony shouted as her eyes were more slit than before.
The Blade was now more focused on the succubus and limped right where she was standing. "No, you don't," Salvia said as he pulled the fire poker out from the demon's side and stabbed it in the back of its neck. With the reptile gurgling on its blood, it was left vulnerable for Dante to shoot in the head with Ebony.
"Nice job holding that last one back," Dante commented.
"Don't sweat it. But next time, don't take your sweet fucking time," Salvia said as he was catching his beath.
"I'll be sure to work a lot faster next time," Dante told the red and black incubus. "Let's keep it moving. Don't want our esteemed guest waiting now, do we?"
Both Salvia and Melony took another look around the interior and saw those same eyes that were in the torches. "Who the fuck is this demon?"
"Somebody with a real thing for fire," Dante said as he aimed his pistols at the torches before they put themselves out. "And learns from experience, too."
The three of them soon made their way through the halls of the castle, fighting their way to see where the boss was hiding. They eventually found a large iron door that reached the ceiling of the hall they were in. "Whoever lives here must be at least 20, maybe 25 feet tall," Salvia said out loud as he looked at the door. "You think the bastard is inside waiting for us? Well, for you, Dante."
"Probably. The guy's been watching us ever since we broke into his house," Dante said as he looked at the door. "If you two want to head back, go ahead. This fight is not going to be a pretty one."
"We're not going anywhere. We want to cheer you on as you beat this guy. And make sure the dirtbag doesn't play any dirty tricks," Melony told the demon hunter.
Dante gave the pair a nod before he pushed the door open and stepped inside where the boss demon was waiting. "Knock knock," Dante said as he stepped into the room.
The room was widely spacious with banners and stone pillars decorating the area. Lava dripped down at the end of the room with bursts of fire spewing out in different directions. At the end of the room sat a giant of a demon that had metallic blue-grey armored skin with glowing veins across his body like magma. His two sets of horns, two big and two small, were curved downward unlike many demons that curved upward. He had yellow eyes with back slits, a large tail that stuck the floor and made the ground shake, and two gigantic bat-like wings on its back.
The demon looked down at the three as its teeth started to curve into a grin. "So… we finally meet, Son of Sparda," the demon said very loudly as it got off its throne and stomped the ground with every step he took. "Our fight shall shake all of Hell for eternity!"
"You must be the walking heater that sent all those apes to the hotel. Would it kill you to lower the temperature? I mean, it's boiling in here," Dante said as he fanned himself with his hand. "You two feel it, too," he asked the succubus and the incubus.
"Unfortunately, yes," Melony complained as sweat started soaking her clothes.
"Yeah. I'm shirtless and I'm still sweating," Salvia agreed as the sweat was dripping from his chest.
"Silence!" The demon roared with anger as he stepped closer to the trio. "I am the King of the Fire Hell, Balrog! I will eliminate you like how you eliminated Argosax and Berial."
"I'm pretty sure Satan rules this ring, big guy. You might be second to him," Dante commented. "Actually, maybe fifth. There's Lucifer, Lilith, and Charlie. Then Satan-"
"Silence," Balrog shouted as the magma in his body pulsed, making his arms glow brighter. "I was told you had a mouth, but I didn't expect it to be this annoying."
"Don't get offended by me. I'm just telling the truth," the Son of Sparda told the giant of a demon. "Let's get to the point. You want revenge, right?"
"Not even close. It was true that I was Argosax's right hand, but I wanted to best him in combat and take the throne for myself. However, you killed him before I even got the chance to!"
"I get it. You wanted to kill your own boss, but I beat you to the punch. So that's why you sent your underlings to the Hotel. But that was your first and biggest mistake," Dante told the large fire demon as he started to twirl Cerberus in his hands. "How about we cool things off first," he said as he swung the demonic ice nunchucks around, making an icy whirlwind. As he finished swinging his weapon around, a glacier of ice hit the area. The lava then hardened and turned to solid rock when the temperature was lowered drastically.
"Hot, cold, make up your mind," Melony whined as she hugged herself as the soaking wet shirt made her colder.
"He just had to use the cold weapon for this battle," Salvia said to no one in particular as he was shivering.
Balrog once again roared in anger as he stared at the demon hunter with rage. "How dare you ruin my precious throne room with your ice! Prepare yourself!" The demon brought his giant fist down on Dante as the Demon Hunter caught the punch with his free hand. The impact made a shockwave that blew both Salvia and Melony backward. Both Balrog and Dante didn't pull back as they simply looked each other in the eye. "Not bad. But you're still leagues away, Balrog commented as he pulled his fist back to prepare a much more powerful punch that was aflame.
"Nice trick but I have a few of my own," Dante said as he swung Cerberus around while he made kung fu noises like he was Bruce Lee. He jumped in the way of the fist to try and break it, only to see that giant's arm disappear. 'What the-? Where'd he go,' he thought to himself as he looked around. Balrog's fist suddenly appeared on Dante's right side and it collided with the Demon Hunter, sending him into the wall. Dante immediately pulled himself out of the stone and dusted himself off. "Okay, I admit that was a neat little trick there. But it's not going to get me again."
The fire demon chuckled darkly as he summoned a fiery whip in his hand as he whipped the ground before him. "How about this trick," Balrog laughed as he lashed out the flames at Dante, who dodged the attack with ease. But somehow, the whip made contact with his back fell on one knee.
'What's going on? I know I dodged," the Demon Hunter told himself as he got back on his knees. 'He's able to make some kind of a portal. But how is he doing so?'
"Dante! Look at his hand," Salvia shouted to the Demon Hunter, pointing to Balrog's open palm on his left hand. The white-haired hunter looked at the fire demon and saw that there was a light purple gem in the center of his palm.
'That power. It's a lot like… Yamato,' Dante thought to himself as he studied the gem on the demon's hand. 'But Yamato is with Nero now. Did some of its power separate? Whatever the case, I have to destroy it if I'm gonna have a better chance at winning this fight.' Dante through as he clenched onto Cerberus.
Balrog saw that the Incubus pointed out his secret as he was able to transfer his arm through a portal he created to beat his enemies. "I'm going to need to shut that big mouth of yours up. Let's see how you like the taste of my flames," he muttered to himself as he shot a burst of flame out of his mouth, and made a portal where the incubus was standing.
Salvia saw the portal open in front of him, but he was frozen in fear as he couldn't move an inch away from the flames. It felt as if time was moving at a crawl as the flames drew nearer. Just then, Melony pushed him to the side and she tried to pull back for safety after protecting her brother. Unfortunately, the fire managed to burn her hand as she fell backward. The shortstack succubus let out a scream of pain as the flames were the hottest thing she has felt in a very long time. "Melony! Shit, are you okay!"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just got burnt a little," Melony said as she clutched her hand and forced a smile. Looking to see how badly his sister was burnt, Salvia saw that her hand was burnt and blistered from the hellfire that Balrog attacked with. "Guess I can't flip you off with this hand anymore when you insult me," Melony laughed before she hissed at the pain.
"You always were the funny one sis," Salvia said, doing his best to cheer her up.
Balrog huffed in frustration as the shortstack succubus pushed his target away from his inferno. But all was not so bad since he did deal some damage down to the siblings. 'Might as well end their pathetic lives,' he thought to himself as he was ready to shoot flames out of his mouth. However, a round of hawk-shaped energy bullets hit him in the throat to prevent him from breathing fire.
"Your fight's with me, you overgrown heater," Dante said to Balrog as he shot the demon with Redgrave. "I'm just getting started."
This made Balrog cough as his focus was now on the Son of Sparda. He let out a low growl as he used his fiery whip once more. "You will burn," he shouted as he cracked the whip on the ground in front of him before he swung it at Dante. However, the Demon Hunter was dodging his attacks faster than before. "What's going on?! How are you dodging my attacks this time," Balrog asked as he found his voice as he tried to whip the white-haired hunter and kept failing.
"That's easy. You have a pattern," Dante answered as he dodged another attack from the fire giant. "But I have to admit, you took me by surprise using a fragment of my brother's favorite ability," he mention while smacking the whip away from him with Cerberus. "Too bad you didn't fully master that ability."
"I can still use it to beat you to a pile of ash," Balrog screamed as he threw his fist right at Dante, which disappeared into thin air like the space he was aiming at shifted.
'Perfect,' the Son of Sparda smirked as he saw the fist coming to his right. "Sorry for this, buddy. But you've done well over the years," Dante said to his weapon as he threw his Devil Arm at the armored hand. The impact against the Devil Arm caused howling winds of ice and frost to explode from Cerberus, breaking the weapon and causing the flame demon's hand to become frostbitten severely.
Balrog panicked as he saw that frost, ice, and snow was spreading to his entire arm. Pulling back his arm, he saw the damage was done and his hand was ripping apart. Clenching at the injured hand, he hissed in pain as the ice shattered the gem in his palm before he used his fire powers to ignite his limbs. "No more tricks! I'll throw you into the magma and turn you into a statue for my castle," the Fire Demon King roared.
"Do I have to pose? I know I look good, so I'm sure any position would do," Dante cracked as he pulled out Maelstrom and posed with the trident.
The fire demon let out a roar that made a fiery wave that covered the room. Dante made a water shield that protected him from the flames. But Salvia got in front of Melony and shielded her with his wings as the flames hit him. "Salvia!"
"I'm fine, sis. This is nothing," the incubus told his sister. "This is nothing compared to the torture Valentino inflicted." However, his back was severely burned and his wings looked like they were about to become ash.
Seeing the state the siblings were in, Dante glared at Balrog before he went on the offensive. "Didn't your parents ever tell you that playing with fire is dangerous," he asked rhetorically as he summoned a surge of water from Maelstrom, hitting the demon directly. Dante noticed that as Balrog's arms were doused and resembling cooled magma, he was becoming more sluggish because of the attack. Using this to his advantage, the Demon Hunter climbed up onto Balrog's arm, stabbing him as he made it to his head. The Son of Sparda transformed the trident into its anchor form and slammed it in his face. On impact, a watery projection of a Great White Shark attacked the Fire King, breaking two of his horns while half of his helmet was torn off his face.
The Great Fire King was weakening as he was breathing heavily while barely getting up. His eyes glared with hate at the half-demon, yet he had some respect towards him as well. No one has ever bested him in a battle for a long time. Standing up straight, Balog roared as he attempted to ignite his body again. "Come at me, Son of Sparda!"
"Using the last of your own strength then? Not gonna hold a lot back this time," Dante said as he transformed Maelstrom to its trident form, ready for one final attack. But before he did, his eyes were focused on the siblings. "Can you two move?"
"Yeah, we can," Salvia told the Demon Hunter. "But don't you worry about us. We faced a lot tougher."
"I know you can. But when I give the signal, throw these," Dante told the siblings as he tossed them his Royal Ace cards. The Demon Hunter was focused on the King of Fire in front of him as he was ready to launch his final attack. Dante launched himself with incredible speed that Balrog tried to burn him with his flames, but the trident's water protected him from the fire as he pierced through and stabbed the fire demon in the chest, blasting him with a surge of water to drench him. "Now!"
Both Melony and Salvia threw the electric cards at the fire demon when Dante jumped out of the way. When the cards touched Balrog, the demon screamed in pain from being electrocuted.
The King of Fire fell on his knees as the fire in his eyes was fading and dying off. 'So… I've been bested. This is an odd feeling,' Balrog thought to himself. 'I guess this is the strength of the Son of Sparda.'
"Still breathing, well I'll be sure to end your suffering," Dante told the giant fire demon as he pulled out Rebellion from his back.
"Wait," Balrog said to the Demon Hunter with a raised hand. "I know when I have been beaten. I surrender. Just allow me to join you in battle so I may continue to enjoy a good fight."
Before Dante could answer, the demon turned to light as his spirit rushed towards him and engulfed him. After a few seconds, Dante was now wearing a set of blueish-gray gauntlets and greaves with shoulder pads that had two large spikes that curve out to the sides of Dante before curving upwards. The gauntlets had a set of yellow eyes with black slit pupils and the greaves had gray scales that sort of resembled cooled magma. "Didn't even give me a chance to answer. Oh well," he shrugged as he couldn't complain too much since it's been a while since he got a new set of gauntlets and greaves. Wanting to test out his new weapons he let loose some powerful jabs as he was throwing his fists faster and faster until he felt the fire within his gauntlets, making them increase in size when he threw another punch. He then demonstrated agility by performing several kicks into the air as fire spewed out of his feet. To finish testing his new weaponized armor, Dante unleashed a combination of punches and kicks toward Balrog's throne and left it in ruins with a final strike.
"That was totally awesome," Melony cheered.
"You kicked ass," Salvia exclaimed.
"Thanks. But you might want to rest up a bit. You did get burned pretty bad," Dante told the incubus as he pointed to his back.
"Like I said, Valentino did way worse than that pyro ever did," the incubus said to the Demon Hunter. "Besides, I had to protect my little sister." As he said that, both he and Melony were glowing white and the three were shocked to see the burns start healing up immediately.
Seeing what was happening, Melony was freaking out. "Sal, what's going on!?"
Knowing what this was, Dante's eyes widened. "I can't believe it," he muttered.
"Don't worry, Mel. This happened to a friend of mine before," Salvia said as his burned back healed with not leathery bat-like wings, but feathered angel wings instead. Seeing what happened to her brother, Melony soon saw her own hand healing up and the red skin of the siblings turned into a pink color like cherry blossoms. "I guess that we just needed to show we needed to put our lives on the line to protect each other no matter what," Salvia remarked as a cloudy vortex appeared in the air.
As the portal to Heaven opened, Dante saw the same angel that brought Z from LuLu World appear before them. However, he saw that she wasn't alone. "Sal-u-tations," greeted a younger-looking angel with long orange hair that had a pink ribbon, green eyes, and German-styled dress. "Congratulations, you two. Thanks to you protecting one another and helping Mr. Dante fight off a powerful demon, you were allowed entry into Heaven. How was that, Nikki?"
"Perfect, Penny. You did great," the Angel, now revealed to be named Nikki, told the orange-haired angel facing the two former demons. "Just like my colleague said, you are now allowed into Heaven. An old friend is waiting for you, Salvador," she smiled as she reached her hand out.
Hearing his real name, Salvia chuckled as he took Nikki's hand. "Thanks for finding my sister, Dante," the former incubus told the demon hunter.
"No problem," Dante said.
"You're going to love being in Heaven," Penny told the siblings. "As long as you follow enough of the rules, you'll enjoy a wonderful new afterlife together. It'll be sensational!"
"Looking forward to it," Melony said with a chuckle as the angel's innocent and childlike happiness was making her smile.
"And I'm looking forward to bringing more redeemed sinners to Heaven when they prove to be truly good people," Penny told Dante. "You and Princess Charlotte keep up the good work."
"I'm sure she'll love to hear that," Dante said before he felt Penny glomp him into a tight hug. "Hehehe, okay. I need to head back. I'll tell Charlie what happened and that you said 'hello' to her," he stated.
"You can do better," Salvia said as he threw his hellphone at the demon hunter. "Since I don't need this anymore, a picture will last longer."
"That is true," Dante said as he took a picture of himself with Melony and Salvia on each end of him, Penny hugging him from behind like she was a little sister, and Nikki standing to Salvia's side with a motherly smile. "Take care, you two," Dante said to Salvia and Melony.
"Don't die," Salvia laughed. "Then again, what can actually kill you," he remarked.
"Don't know, but I'm not gonna find out anytime soon," Dante told the former Incubus as he and Melony followed the angels back to the portal before it closed behind them. After Dante waved them off, he whistled to summon Zephyrus to his side as the demon horse came out through the door, standing beside his master. "Time to go back to the hotel," he said as he got on the horse's back. Zephyrus soon galloped out of Balrog's castle and created a portal back to the Pride Ring.
In front of the hotel, Dante soon got off Zephyrus and patted him before the demon horse went back to the Ring of Wrath. Heading inside, the demon hunter saw everyone was sitting around the lobby. "Hey, everyone. Good news," he announced.
"You killed another powerful demon and made him into a weapon," Angel Dust said as he figured that was the news, sitting at the bar sipping on a glass of water.
"That and both Salvia and his sister Melony got into Heaven," Dante said as everyone either stare at him like he had won the lottery or did a spit-take.
"Are you serious?! They both got in," Charlie asked while beaming.
"Yup," Dante replied as he pulled out Salvia's phone and showed the picture he took.
Seeing the angels surrounding Dante, Charlie squealed loud enough that Bullet whimpered like he heard a dog whistle. "This is great news! If we keep this up, we'll get rid of the exterminations in no time!"
"Blondie's right. If more come to the hotel and get redeemed, pretty soon Extermination Day will just be a thing of the past," Candy said.
"That is if our dear little demon belle gets enough sinners to redeem," Alastor said half-jokingly as he had his large grin on his face.
"Way to go and kill the mood, cabrón (dumbass)," Vaggie muttered.
"Well, I propose a toast to those two gaining entry to Heaven," Husker said as he need an excuse to drink a little bit more, pouring a glass of beer for everyone and handing or sliding it down to them. "To Salvia and his sister!"
"Cheers," everyone said in unison before gulping the alcohol. Soon enough, everyone began to party and celebrate two successful redemptions. Excited that the second time took up two demons, including somebody that she just met, Charlie allowed everyone to enjoy as much as they wanted for the night before limits were applied again.
Downing a cup of hard apple cider with Lechuza, Charlie began to giggle as she leaned against the owl harpy. "This is ssshoooo amazing! I-I-I can't b-believe that this hap-ha-happened," Charlie stammered with a drunken slur before she fell backwards to be caught by Dante. "Hiiiii, Danttttteeeeee! You know… you are sshoooo good to me."
"Okay, I think you had enough to drink Princess. Let's get you to bed," he told her as he tried to drag her out of the bar area.
"Ooooohh, we gonna do something naughty in the room," she asked still being a giggling mess as she was reaching down his crotch. "Are yo- Ar- Are you p-packing another big sword here," she questioned with a dirty grin on her face.
Dante heard laughter coming from downstairs as he saw Angel Dust laughing his ass off alongside Candy, Summer, and Dia. "I would be shocked if he didn't," Angel exclaimed.
Ignoring the sinners from downstairs, the Demon Hunter dragged Charlie back to her room. Once they reached the room on the fourth floor, Dante opened up the door and carried Charlie inside. "Okay, let's get you some water or something so you don't have a hangover in the morning," Dante told the princess as he turned around. But as he did, he saw that she already removed her jacket and shirt, leaving only her bra covering her chest. "Charlie, what are you doing!?"
"What does it looke like I'm doing, I want to get comfortable before we do it," Charlie said as she was ready to take off her pants.
"Charlie, you're drunk."
"Am not!"
"Say 'inebriation', then," Dante countered.
"Inebaby… inebitching… inebearati… screw you, I wanna fuck," Charlie declared after failing to speak clearly.
"Drink," Dante told her as he handed her the glass of water.
"I don't wanna," she said as she puffed her cheeks out like she was a child. She saw the look in his eyes as she knew he was serious. Charlie took the glass of water and drank the entire glass down within seconds. "There. I drank it," she stated.
"Now we're going to wait a little until you're levelheaded," Dante told the Princess of Hell.
Charlie groaned as she pressed her chest against Dante. "But, I'm horny," she told him.
"You're drunk. I'm not sleeping with you until you stop seeing more than one of me," Dante stated.
"I know you had a twin, but I didn't know he was here already," Charlie mumbled as she saw two of Dante swirling around the room, then falling onto the bed.
"This just proves you're still sloshed," he said, crossing his arms.
"Can we at least cuddle," Charlie asked him as she turned to face him. Dante rolled his eyes before removing his coat and weapons, then let Charlie snuggle with him. "There. That wasn't so hard now, was it," she asked with a smile on her face as she nuzzled her face into his neck. "Dante, can I ask you a question?"
The white-haired hunter looked at her before giving a reply. "What is it?"
"Have you ever loved anyone before? Like a real relationship," Charlie asked as she rested her head on his chest.
"Not really. I mean, I did date once in a while, but I never had anything serious," He told her. "I guess… I was too scared to open up."
"Wait. You were scared? What could scare you that much," Charlie asked him.
"Ending up losing another woman I care for like my mom, I guess," he stated with a sad look in his eyes. "I still get nightmares of that day we were attacked in the mansion. She went looking for my brother, but she couldn't find him and it cost her life. Being in a serious relationship with a woman would make demons go after her just to get to me." Charlie listened intently, tearing up while she was starting to feel sober more thanks to her own magic helping speed the process up. "Hey, come on. No need to cry for me. If anything, I'm glad I got to open up to you, Charlie."
"Oh, Dante," she exclaimed as she flung her arms around him and crashed her lips onto his, passionately kissing him. "You were the best thing to happen to me since Vaggie. Without you, I would still be struggling with the hotel," she parted away as she was now on top of him. She smiled as she lean over his ear. "Inebriation."
Taking that as a sign of her being sobered up now, Dante flipped Charlie onto her back and kissed her. Discarding their clothing, the Princess of Hell let out a moan before she looked up at Dante. "I guess we'll be celebrating harder than the others," Dante chuckled.
"I was serious about that sword in your pants," Charlie said with a giggle before their night became much more pleasurable.
And that's the end of this chapter. Phew, I need to get that out of my systems. I hope all of you enjoyed where the story is going so far. But things are going to Hell pretty soon.
