AN: Well… hello everyone! It's been a while, I know. But I will not apologize for life taking precedence. I hope everyone is doing well and as I am finding myself with some time I decided I can provide all of you with another chapter. I also understand there is some confusion on Perseus's strange appearance and his background, however that will all be explained in time.

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER OR PERCY JACKSON!

The backlash in the magical community following the party at the Potters was horrendous. Every magical being in the entirety of the world knew that there was one thing you never did, and that was incite the wrath of a god. Especially the God.

Meanwhile while James Potter ran around frantically trying to figure out what exactly he had done, The Daily Prophets morning paper flew into homes all across Britain emblazoned with the headline.

The Most Ancient and Noble House of Potter No More?

While to many of the newer families or those uneducated this title had barely any meaning, however to those who have studied magic thoroughly understand the greater meaning behind this. The title of Most Ancient and Noble is not something given lightly, it is a title that can only be bestowed by the Lord of Magic himself. Rarely is it given and for a family to bear that title, it is a great honor.

To be part of an Ancient and Noble House is to be in the favor of the Lord, and to lose that favor, that is the worst crime or sin known to the magical community. Immediately after the morning paper, the Potter household was bombarded with howlers and angry letters.

Perseus knew very well what his words and actions from the night before would entail, but while he may feel some sympathy for Harry having to deal with the backlash too, Perseus knew that James needed to have a rude awakening.

As he was pondering his actions, Percy remembered when he bestowed the title on the Potter family. He always had a soft spot for the family ever since the early days of what is now modern day Britain.

Flashback:

Perseus sat in what would later be called Stonehenge watching the different clans argue over the invasion of Romans. The ancient clans later formed into many of the well-known families, such as the Longbottoms, the Weasleys, the Dumbledores, and even the Malfoys.

He hated to see magicals fighting against each other, such a waste and the Romans slaughtering those in Britain didn't help. He however could not directly involve himself and put an end to it, the wars of the mortals had to be fought by mortals and all he could do was sit back and watch.

The Romans had been making their way north, although impeded by the work of the clans and their magic. The Romans still pushed on, ever so slowly making their way to the clan's homes.

"The Romans are only a few days march from here, we have to do something!" Exclaimed the chief of the Weasley clan.

"Everything we have done has been countered or ignored and we don't have the numbers to fight them head on." The Malfoy chief responded.

"We need to do something… something drastic." The Dumbledore chief said solemnly.

"Aye, that seems to be the case." Said a darkly armored giant of a man as he entered the circle. "None of our attempts to stop them have worked, we may have to call upon help from Magic itself."

The rest of the chiefs paled, calling upon Magic for advice was not something one did lightly. Sometimes it could be of great use but other times it could create great catastrophe.

"But the consequences of such an act could be dire!" The Malfoy chief spoke with a look of terror at the thought. Many of the others nodded in agreement. "I would rather take my chances fighting the Romans head on than risk it."

"If that is the case, then leave. If I have to I will personally fight through hell itself so that we may be safe, however if that cannot be said for the rest of you, then BEGONE!" The giant roared. After a few seconds of silence the clans began to depart not wanting to take the chance.

After a few minutes all that was left in the circle was Perseus, the giant, and the Dumbledore chieftain. "I hope you know what you are doing, be careful," the chieftain said and with a nod of respect he also left.

And so only Perseus and the man remained. Perseus moved away from one of the stones he was leaning on and approached the man asking, "Are you truly willing to do such a thing?"

"I am. But let us allow Magic to be the judge of that" the man said.

"No need, for I have already seen the conviction you hold," Perseus stated. The man looked at him more closely and knelt exclaiming, "Lord Magic, I did not realize." "Silence, I can only I can only provide you with a doorway to the help you need, I cannot be the one to gain the aid you need. If are truly willing to fight through hell itself then ready yourself."

The man rose and grabbed the silver mace he had hanging from his side stating, "I am ready my Lord."

"Then the doorway will be opened, however before we begin, may I have your name Mortal?"

"Potter, Harold Potter."

I waved my hand opening a portal to a dark and ghastly world from which he could gain the aid he required. Immediately after opening it, the temperature dropped to freezing.

"Good luck, Harold." I whispered as he stepped into the portal.

The trials the man had had to endure in that world were terrible however the man had prevailed. A day after entering the portal he exited with the aid he needed, the Dementors. No one save Perseus knew what he had to undergo in order to win the allegiance of those demons. However it worked. The Romans had no defense against them, they fell upon the legions completely decimating them and leaving nothing but their soulless husks.

The Romans push had been halted and none wished to continue further. So the Emperor at the time ordered the building of a wall to not only keep the clans and others out but also to keep Romans from venturing further.

Harold Potter singlehandedly done so much that Perseus decided to bestow upon him and his family his blessing. From this blessing, the family gained wealth, the title of Most Ancient and Noble, and even some of his own personal scrolls of magic.

James Potter through his actions had lost those blessings, the Potter's most cherished items, the scrolls disappeared. Harold Potter would be extremely disappointed in his descendant if he could see him now.

AN: I'm ending this here as I have to go handle some business. This chapter was more focused on the the Potters past and their connection to Perseus and also the consequences of James's actions. Hope you all enjoy! LOTD out.
