It was the 26th of February. Almost 10 months had passed since Toshinori assigned Izuku and Ayaka's training. Toshinori closed the door to his truck and arrived smiling as he closed in on the beach.

They had done it, at an impressive pace too. Surprising Toshinori.

Like Ayaka had mentioned, the beach was sublime and filled with the gleaming sunrise early in the morning. Not only that, the last of the trash pile was already being managed by Ayaka. Slicing of bits of the junk before organizing them for it to use space on Toshinori's truck efficiently after every trip.

Toshinori was proud of both of them, Izuku was panting hard after his last trip from the beach. Months ago he was barely able to fill half the truck full, now though it was getting harder for the truck itself to keep up with how much progress he had made.

Back when Toshinori realized that his schedule was actually longer than he planned because of both Ayaka and Izuku's work ethics in training. He allowed Ayaka and Izuku to study instead which freed her up to satisfy her curiosities.

Toshinori walked along the edge of the railings separating the beach from the road. He watched as Izuku and Ayaka were standing on the edge of the water with Izuku holding on to a notebook and Ayaka lifting up her right leg.

Izuku walked behind her to clear the way, he jittered excitedly as he said, "You can do this. Last time you reached 61.4 meters, Kamisato!"

Ayaka sharply breathed in and exhaled slowly, she had the routine of her every attack memorized. She knew how to draw out that warm feeling after practicing for 10 months. It was the final hour when she could break her record in ice bridge making.

It was her test of strength and commitment, long ago she had figured out that she could still have a large area of effect attack despite not being aggressive in her actions in any way. She did it by mistake when she tried dancing again, it unleashed further than before and so it made her incorporate it into her attacks.

A habit like this would be bad for battle but Izuku encouraged her to do it since it will let her remember by feeling her ice being used until she could get used to it while in school.

Ayaka swept her right arm before putting down her lifted leg and sliding it across the water. 'Winter solitude— In a world of one color, The sound of wind.' she echoed in her mind.

Ayaka twists her ankle below as an eruption of ice occurs and travels across the water. The waves crash and cease as it meets the ice bridge blocking their way, The ice solidifies and slowly reaches outward even further.

The ice sliced through the turbulent waves before covering the landscape in frost as it reaches the apex of its power. The ice ends with a final puff of snow as Izuku began to run atop it followed by Ayaka behind him.

Izuku nervously looked at the mark that he had put in from her last record. A single durable stick burrowed deep beneath the sand. It was shallow for the beach which was lucky for them, as he got closer he could see the stick popping up from the water and could feel excitement leaking out from him.

He sat down on the frigid surface before taking out a measuring tape and dragging it across. He went further and further and was ecstatic to tell Ayaka the news. As soon as he reached the edge he was amazed.

"Kamisato! You did it! You reached 65 meters!" he loudly screamed out before jumping up and down from the results.

"Midoriya, I know you're quite eager but the ice won't hold for long if you continue bouncing up and down."

*Crack!*

Just then, a crack formed on the edge as Izuku looked down and dreaded what Ayaka had warned. The small split expands and breaks off the ice he is standing on as he drops into the depths.

"Ahhh! Co...ld!" He screamed out.

He quickly swam up to the remaining and unbroken ice bridge as Ayaka reached her hand out to pull him up. As he sat on the ice quivering and shaking, Toshinori arrives at the end of the ice bridge and sees his protege shaking from the cold.

"Young Midoriya, I know nerves are a thing before an exam, don't get cold feet now. Haha!"

Izuku started to stand up, his hands still shaking from the sudden drop in temperature. "All Might!"

Toshinori placed his hands over Izuku's shoulders. "Young Midoriya, let's head over to the beach. You can come along too, young Kamisato."

"I'd be delighted to accompany you, All Might," Ayaka responded.

After reaching the shore proper and taking off his shirt to avoid getting a cold. Izuku stood tall in front of Toshinori in his empowered form.

"I'm proud of you both. The time you improved is astounding, I even thought you'd be finished a month early! Look at you Midoriya, you have changed."

Izuku's eyes shone as his idol pulls out his phone to show him something of note. "Take a look!"

Izuku looked at the image presented in front of him. "This is?"

"You from ten months ago. You did well, you really did! It's still a faint light at the end of the tunnel... but you've certainly become suitable!"

He turns to Ayaka, who was smiling at Izuku's happiness from his hard work paying off. "As for you, young Kamisato. You had grown from your Quirk, aiding young Midoriya's training and being an encouragement as he went through his hardship. You both are excellent and you two are now ready for the entrance exam."

Ayaka was proud of Izuku as well, not once had she seen so much will to overcome an obstacle such as cleaning an entire beach of junk that years had accumulated. She certainly found it nice to see Izuku getting what he deserves.

Izuku wept out from hearing those words. "I feel like I'm cheating...You both have done so much for me... I am too privileged."

"Don't play down your own contributions Midoriya. We may have helped from the side but it is by your own merit from which you obtained greatness." Ayaka told him.

"Haha! What young Kamisato said is true. You need to stop being a crybaby. Now to the award ceremony, Midoriya Izuku!"

"Yes!"

Ayaka nodded as she pulled out her fan and opened it across her face. "Congratulations, Midoriya. you've earned it."

A determined face gets plastered on as Izuku looked at his friend encouraging him. he looks back to Toshinori and smiles.

Toshinori started to speak as he pulled out a strand of hair. "I was once told this too, but the quality is different between ones who received it by luck and ones who earned it. Take that to heart. This is the power that you yourself have earned."

Izuku was very thankful and was ready to receive the chance to prove to himself that he, in fact, can be a hero like he always wanted to be. Not just alone but with a genuine friend alongside him. 'I grabbed onto a reality that's way beyond the comic books with my own hands...'

He looks to Toshinori in his full glory, the sun shining on his chiseled face and glistening smile as he in his empowered form emanated greatness. Izuku was ready to receive the power that All Might had.

It was going to be a glorious moment.

"Eat it!"

...

"Hah?"

"Oh, dear."

Toshinori rubs the back of his head and tried to explain to the shocked Ayaka and Izyuku, "It doesn't matter what it is as long as you take in my DNA"

Izuku's mind went into overdrive, it fried his mental state. "This is not what I had imagined!"

Toshinori in his intimidating figure walked slowly toward Izuku who was backing away from the massive muscular man menacingly approaching him with his arms outreached and with a strand of hair in between his fingers.

"We have no time to lose! You'll be late for the exams! Come, come...!"

"No! Gah!"

It was no use, trying to outrun All Might while he chases you around while trying to forcefully shove his hair down your throat was never going to be a success for Izuku. He tried to resist but in the end, he had a delicious breakfast stuffed down his maw.

That hour, some say a banshee had descended upon Dagobah Beach as an ear-piercing shout of horror and fear resounded from the smooth sand covering the beach.

All was well, except for Izuku.

A short while after making Izuku traumatized, Toshinori walked back to Ayaka. "Young Kamisato, I also have something for you, I have it in the truck since I want it to be a surprise."

"A gift, for me?" Ayaka didn't expect to be given one nor does she think she deserved one.

"Haha! Of course young lady, you worked equally hard as Midoriya. You know, for someone that encourages others by saying they performed well, you certainly don't see your own efforts."

"It's just that I feel like I have done nothing much," Ayaka responded.

"Nonsense! From a mentor to a student, I can see how much you've done. It's not much with what I could legally get you but here it is. Do you remember me asking what was the most beautiful sword you have seen?"

"Yes, I recall. No... are you saying?"

"I am! Here it is Kamisato, your very own sword that you can use! Bladed weapons are usually dulled a bit for fighting villains but since you have very fine control over your weapon and Quirk, I managed to convince a friend of mine to make it for you."

Ayaka took the sheathed sword in hand. She slowly let the blade out after resting the scabbard on her other hand. She flourished it and swung it in the air while Toshinori watched on.

Ayaka glanced at the craftsmanship, it was the Mistsplitter but recolored into the hues of her combat outfit. It was finely made, the balance was amazing and it was sharpened to perfection.

"It's perfect. I am very grateful for this gift. What can I do to repay your kindness?"

Toshinori chuckled as he pats Ayaka's left shoulder. "You don't need to go so far. I only wish for you to become a hero and support Midoriya while in UA. That is all."

Ayaka looked at the boy in question and nodded. "Of course. I will gladly do so, All Might."

"Let's go, you're both going to be late if you don't hurry."

Ayaka and Izuku were both racing toward where the exam would take place, Izuku was in his normal school uniform as he ran toward the entrance. Ayaka was nearby using the clothes Inko, his mother, lent.

He had to avoid arising suspicion since Izuku would die from embarrassment, so he just took the old ones his mother wore before that was stored somewhere in the house. It fit Ayaka nicely and he gave them to Ayaka since she'd only have some of her Inazuman attire which didn't exactly fit well in the modern world.

Ayaka wore a light blue coat with a turtleneck sweater inside with a scarf around her neck. She wore black leggings and white shoes, she didn't know anything about the composition of normal-looking clothes but Izuku somewhat helped in that regard.

"We made it!"

Ayaka and Izuku stopped short right before the entrance, slowing down as they caught their breaths. "I don't know Kamisato, I had no time to test the power I received."

Ayaka turned to Izuku and smiled. "Don't worry, I believe you can get used to it. If you can overcome 10 months of harsh training, you could do it in training your power."

Izuku stopped as they walked and grasp his mouth. "I still can't believe I swallowed his hair."

"Do you need me to give you more ice to help it go down?" Ayaka asked with concern.

Izuku waved his hand around in denial. "No, it's just... did I really receive it?"

"Move it, Deku!"

Suddenly, a recognizable and almost demonic voice came from behind them. It was terrifying for Izuku because when he did turn around, it scared him.

Katsuki walked along the same path as he bore down and glared at Izuku. He snapped his gaze to the other person beside Izuku and frowned.

"You... are you with this nerd?"

Ayaka didn't already like to hear what names Katsuki called her friend. "Midoriya is this a friend of yours?"

Izuku didn't even get to respond before Katsuki bumped him harshly with his shoulder and pushed him forward to where the exam was taking place. "Tsk... Get out of my way, you want to die?"

'How rude.' Ayaka thought. She closed in following Katsuki only a few steps apart before loudly announcing to the blond-haired person in front of her. "Apologize."

"Kamisato?!" Izuku shakily asked her.

Katsuki stopped in his tracks. "What did you just say, Frosty?"

Ayaka placed a hand over her heart before explaining. "Your actions are inexcusable, I don't recall heroic actions including being rude to people the first time you have an encounter with them."

Katsuki fully turned around and etched an angry look on his face. "I don't have to apologize to no one, Princess!"

The argument took the attention of the other nearby exam takers as they started to murmur to each other. "Hey, isn't that Bakugou? From the slime case?"

Another responded. "Yeah, it's him."

Recognition from the other passerby sounded "Look at who's on the other side though." she pointed at Ayaka.

A boy confirmed it. "Kamisato? The one who beat that villain? She's even prettier up close! Damn, how did I not notice her?"

Katsuki had enough, he blew a small explosion on his palm as he angrily declared to the other people. "Shut it extras!" He turns to Ayaka. "You! Don't look down on me! We'll settle this later, Princess."

Izuku relaxed as the confrontation died down. "Why'd you do that Kamisato?"

"He was belittling you, I couldn't stop and watch you get insulted in such a crude manner."

Izuku sighed out like a thousand-kilo weight was taken away from his back. "At least it's over now. C'mon, let's head over inside."

Izuku stepped fast as he wanted to rest his nerves and just take the exam to distract him. As luck would have it though, a single step made him trip embarrassingly to the floor.

Ayaka looked in shock as her friend was immediately dropping to the floor, she was in front and she couldn't reach Izuku to catch him. though she was surprised to see another girl behind Izuku the whole time.

Ayaka saw Izuku float up as a round-faced girl introduced herself to Izuku. Ayaka was pleasantly surprised that Izuku actually could talk to her normally unlike before when he was a stuttering mess when Izuku even tried to speak a sentence to her when greeting.

After a short thanks went in order, Izuku went back to Ayaka's side and talked to her. "Hah... that was close, I'm glad someone was there to catch me. It would've been so embarrassing!"

"I saw, she was a nice girl, Midoriya. Let us go, we must not dally while we are here."

Izuku nods as they walked close to each other's side and finally enter the building where they would finally take the exams in to enter UA.
