What I saw in the mirror surprised me. I had long, dark chestnut hair. Wait. My eyes are purple. How is that possible? I heard Edward say, " Is she ok? Why is she taking so long?"
I laughed to myself. My Edward is always worrying about me.
"I'm fine Edward," I said.
"I didn't say anything…."
"But I know I heard you say, 'Is she ok? Why is she taking so long?'"
"I thought that… I said that in my mind."
"But I don't hear Alice's or Emmett's voice in my head."
"I'm going to go get Carlisle."
"Okay."
I walked out of the bathroom and Edward and Carlisle were just staring at me.
"What? Why are you staring at me like that?"
"Y..your…e..eyes…….they're….p..purple!" Edward stammered.
"Oh yeah," I said. I had completely forgotten about them.
"I think we should sit down," Carlisle said.
CPOV (Carlisle POV)
Well, this is a surprise. I had no idea Bella would be this powerful!
I mean, she has the eyes!
"Bella, Edward I think I should explain something," they looked at me, wondering what I was going to say," You see, once in a blue moon, a vampire is born with amazing powers. The only way you know that they have this is their eyes. Their purple eyes."

What could he mean by amazing powers. More amazing than seeing into the future? Or reading minds? Or controlling emotions? Bella could obviously read minds. Or mind. She heard my thoughts. But what else could she do?
