Chapter 31: If You Give A Frog A Cookie
The next day at the Boonchuys' house, Anne is taking fresh cookies out of the oven when baked her favorite dessert. Oum looks out the kitchen window and sees the current state of the Plantars in their backyard.
"Question. Why are the Plantars flooding our lawn?" She asked when peeked out the window.
"Sorry. That's on me. They've been really homesick lately, and I thought a swamp might cheer them up." replied Anne when took out her mittens.
"They don't look very cheery."
Outside the lawn, the Plantars were laying down in the mud, not in a happy way. All of them groan. It's been an hours since they woke up, but all stressed out. Anne was oblivious at first.
"They were for a bit, but then they weren't. So now, I'm making them cookies. The answer to all of life's problems."
"Anne, you can't keep giving them things just because you feel bad. They need to learn how to cope on their own."
Maybe her mother was right. Anne does felt bad at the Plantars. She has no idea how long will it take for them to learn to cope off of their own.
"Maybe you're right. I'll go talk to them."
As Anne exits out the kitchen, Oum grabs a cookie and eats one thinking that's delicious.
"Mmm. How did you get them so crunchy?"
"Oh, that's the cicadas. Thanks, mom!" Anne hollers as she left.
She looked at several bugs that was inside a cookie that were moving a little bit. She gets shocked, but didn't noticed that her husband made his approached.
"Do I smell cookies?" Bee asked..
Unfortunately, she spits the cookie at her husband. Suddenly, the closest door just open and shut at a time like this getting the parents attention.
"What was that?" Bee asked.
While his wife shrugged, nobody realized when it shows Stitch who walked through the closest crawling on the ceiling as he crawl pass the kitchen. From the outside of the lawn, the Plantars were laying down groaning until Anne turns off the hose.
"Guys, I know you're homesick. But I don't think any of this is helping." said Anne.
"(groans) Anne's right, kids. This was nice, but let's clean this up and get back to the village." Hop Pop groaned.
The Plantars got up and walked past Anne when she's confused.
"Sorry, the what now?" Anne puzzled.
"Why? Our miniature creation of Wartwood, of course."
Hop Pop opens the bush and shows Anne their creation of Wartwood. It shows the various creations that they made including a miniature that looks like their friends back in the village. Hop Pop picks up tow miniature as he pretend that he's home.
"(high-pitched) May I have this dance, tiny Sylvia?" Hop Pop high pitched his voice.
Sprig and Polly goes to their creation of their home, whimpering. Anne cannot stand the look of their guilt.
"Okay, this can't be healthy." Suddenly, her phone rings and realizes that Dr. Jan is calling her. "Hey, Dr. Jan. Tell me you've got great news."
Then the screen split showing Dr. Jan is on the phone with Anne at her office from the museum.
"Great news, actually. I've got a lead! One of my collogues knows a string theory expert who works in the area!" said Dr. Jan grabs a folder of one of the collogues.
"Uhh?"
"In other words, we found someone who might be your ticket back to Amphibia!"
"Wow! Just wait till I tell the Plantars."
"I wouldn't just yet. There are a lot of loose cannons in the scientific community. And I'd like to vet this "Dr. Frakes" before we meet her."
"Ok. Let me know when you're ready, Dr. Jan."
Anne hang up her phone when the screen went back to normal. Sprig appeared out of nowhere, scaring her.
"Is that Dr. Jan?!" Sprig asked smiling.
"Sounded like she had news!" Polly added.
"A lot of news!" Hop Pop added.
The Plantars makes a puppy face at her when smiling, but Anne tells them a bad news.
"Sorry guys, No good news to report."
Then the Plantars fall to the ground and become more depressed.
"Aaaaawww..." Sprig depressed.
"Oooh, maan..." said Polly sadly.
"All right, kids, back to the tiny village." Hop Pop groaned.
Anne couldn't stand the guilt of their face. She doesn't want to break their heart more. She knew what she must do by lying to them.
"Just kidding! Dr. Jan found someone who might know how to get us back to Amphibia!" Anne lied.
"HOLY COW!" Sprig stands up.
"Think they could gets us by the weeknd?" Polly stands up and jumps for joy.
"So what are we waiting for? Let's meet this wizard!" Hop Pop stands up.
"Well, we can't go right now. Dr. Jan says..." Anne pause when the Plantars are about to get depressed again. "Thaaat... today is great! I haver her name. Let me look her up, and we can head on over."
The Plantars launch to hug Anne.
"You're the best, Anne!" said The Plantars and then run into the house while rejoicing.
"This is fine. It's a good idea. They need a nugget. Right, fake Wally?" Anne looks at the Wally's figurine as the wind makes him move his head side to side. This made Anne kicks the figurine. "OH, who asked you?"
Suddenly, when the tree is shaking, Stitch lands besides Anne when startling.
"RAARRGGGHHH!" Stitch roars.
The alien started to wreck the miniature pretending to be a giant monster while Anne was shocked thinking that the Plantars might get ticked off.
"EEEK! SAVE ME!" Stitch pretends while picked up a miniature Mayor Toadstool and chews on the figurine.
"Dude! What the heck?!" She exclaims.
Stitch stops and looks at Anne at first, but then he just spits out the figurine.
"Sorry." Stitch apologize.
"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at home?" Anne asked.
"Lilo went to class. Stitch bored." replied Stitch.
"Oh, sorry about that. Not all kids go to school, you know." said Anne.
"Froggy sad?" Stitch asked.
"The Plantars? Yeah, they were depressed since they missed Wartwood. You know, where all frogs lives?"
Stitch tilted his head curiously.
"Didn't I tell you about Amphibia?"
"Uh huh?"
"Okay, just making sure. Since you got bored, wanna come with us?"
"Eh!"
"I'll take that as a yes."
Stitch picks up a figurine Toady and eats it up.
"Please don't do that."
A couple of hours later, Anne, Stitch, and the Plantars with arrive at Dr. Frakes' Brainasium with their disguises. They walk through the door when they entered, but didn't even noticed as Anne explains about the plan.
"According to the Internet, our scientist works right... here?" Anne confused.
"Whooooa!" said The Plantars as they amazed.
The interior of Dr. Frakes' Brainasium is shown. A boy plays a virtual reality pilot. A red-haired girl screams at a pipe and the scream reaches the other end, but bigger causing a bigger scream to her father while he looked at his cell phone. Now a worker is shown giving a car to 3 children.
"...and whoever can answer the question gets a snack." The worker shows the kids a sandwich.
"He got snacks!"
Three children try to reach the sandwich in front of the worker as he was afraid to get scratched up. The Plantars has never seen such like this before.
"Whoa. So this is where they keep all the dark Earth magic." said Polly.
"I can't believe we'll be going home soon." said Hop Pop.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We're only here to ask some questions. Now stay close, the government's still on our tail." said Anne.
Before they start walking, Anne heard her name's calling.
"Anne!"
They turn their heads at their friends, Dipper, Mabel, Pacifica, and Wendy as they approached.
"Hey, guys. What are you doing here?" said Anne.
"I discovered the clue where science was made. Rumors has that it has a portal that connects to another world." Dipper answered smiling.
"Yeah! Anne's taking us back home too!" replied Sprig.
"Wait, what?"
"Leaving already?" Mabel asked.
"Uhhh..." Anne went nervous.
"Dude, is this true?" Wendy asked.
"Well, of course. Anne is taking us to Dr. Jan's colleague so that we can head on back home." Hop Pop answered.
"Sure, could we borrow Anne just for moment?" Dipper turn his head at Wendy and Pacifica. "Keep an eye on them."
"Got it." replied Wendy.
"Will do." said Pacifica.
Dipper push Anne with Mabel followed behind leaving Wendy and Pacifica in charge of the Plantars while Stitch tilt his head.
"So, how's your day going?" Hop Pop asked.
"It's going great, I call my boyfriend, Patrick to remind him that my friends and I are heading home soon." replied Wendy.
"Wait, leaving already?" Sprig asked.
"Yeah, we have to be ready for our holiday traditions by the time we head back tomorrow." said Pacifica.
"Aw, man." Sprig disappointed.
"That ain't fair." Polly added.
"Hey, don't worry. We'll come back and visit once we walk through the closet door." said Wendy comforting them.
"Oh! I mean, Hooray!" said Sprig.
Meanwhile, Dipper and Mabel has approach to the quiet place when it's not too loud once they're done pushing Anne.
"Alright, what gives?" Dipper was not pleased.
"What do you mean?" Anne asked when nervous.
"The portal. They said that you would take them to back home. We didn't planned for this."
"Yeah, why didn't you tell us?" Mabel asked.
"(sigh) As much as I don't want to, but they were depressed because they missed their home. I can't even tell them to laid it off." Anne answered.
"Look, I know how it felts. Just like you, I used to be wimp until Grunkle Stan tells me to man it up. Try not to have the same mistake as I have." said Dipper.
"I guess your right. How's your grunkles anyway?"
"They were busy, looking for clues at the museum, then the junkyard, you know solving mysteries." replied Dipper.
"Just to give you a heads up. If your friends gives you a puppy face, you have to set your foot down and man it up." said Mabel
"Are you sure? I mean... I couldn't say no to them when-"
"I SAID MAN IT UP, WOMAN!"
"Okay! Okay! Geez! What are you, my mom?" Anne retort.
"Now that's the spirit!" Mabel gives Anne a thumbs.
Later on, Anne, Dipper, and Mabel came back as they approach to their friends.
"Okay! We're all set!" said Mabel.
Anne, Stitch, the Plantars, and their friends walk casually as they arrive at the principal's office. Anne knocks on the door until a girl with blue hair wearing her lab coat, light brown skirt and blue and gray sweater vest with a nametag pin on her right side and a pizza pin on her left, opens it.
"(groans) I keep telling you kids, we don't have extra snacks back here." The girl noticed that it was only just Anne and her friends. "Oh, hello. Are you here to see Dr. Frakes?"
"Yeeeah!" Sprig answered.
"Absolutely!" Polly added.
"We want to meet the doctor!" said Hop Pop eagerly, but looked Anne when scolded at them. "I mean, maybe."
"No big deal." said Sprig.
"Meh." Polly added.
"Is she available?" Anne asked kindly.
"Only by appointment. Sorry." replied the Blue Haired girl.
"Well, case closed." said Dipper.
"Maybe next time." Mabel added.
"Ooh..." Anne turn her head at the Plantars. "Well, we tried."
Anne looks at the Plantars, but they strike a dog-pleading pose while Polly has her eyes sobbing. Anne took a glance at Dipper and Mabel when giving her thumbs up. Anne knew that she couldn't take risk at all. The blue-haired girl is about to close the door, but Anne stops her.
"Wait. Actually we are... reporters and we were just wondering if you could answer some questions about inter-dimensional travel." Anne lied.
The Pine Twins facepalmed when disappointed.
"Aren't you a bit young to be a reporter?" asked The blue haired girl.
But suddenly, she was pushed by an old woman, Dr. Frakes, wearing her glasses and her lab coat when she approached.
"Silence, Terri! At last, the media has caught wind of my amazing discovery!"
"What kind of discovery?" Hop Pop asked.
"Oh, nothing big. Just a portal to another dimension!"
"DID YOU SAY PORTAL?" They all said together except Stitch.
"Now come with me." Dr. Frakes guides them inside of her office and then looks at Terri. "Terri, music!"
After entering. Terri sighs and closes the door. She then plays a playlist titled "Dr. Frakes Super-Mega Cool Playlist 2003".
"The great Dr. Frakes may current current be stuck running the Brainasium and looking after hordes of snot-nosed brats, but that doesn't mean my research has stopped! Oh no! Behold! Frakes Ferrofluid! Over here is an example of a Frakes Fractal. Look over here! My Frakes Field!"
"Wow! So many things thing named after you." Polly remarks.
"Well, science is the pursuit of naming thing after yourself."
As the group reaches a room, Sprig bumps into Anne. Stitch was curious around the room.
"Ooohh." Stitch amazed.
"Huh. I thought it was the pursuit of knowledge." said Terri,
"Don't be stupid, Terri!" Dr, Frakes snapped at her assistant.
Terri puts on her ID card to open the door. They all enters the room where it shows the machine with many screens on computer screens.
"Voilà! The Frakes Portal Chamber!"
Anne and her friends were impressed.
"Whoa!"
"How'd you build all this?" Dipper asked.
"It all began a few months ago..."
(Flashback starts)
A flashback begins, right on Anne's birthday when Anne sits on the bench while Sasha and Marcy stood by when she opens the music box and being transported as the three girls were dragged into another world as we cut to the view when the blue bright light burst out to the sky with a energy wave.
"When the city was hit with a wave of very strange energy."
It is shown that the energy is transmitted through the electrical cables, and just in one part it reaches a room where Dr. Frakes is listening to the music while Terri using a microscope. The energy alters the entire room and they notice it and a volatile absorbing portal forms on a pair of giant antennas. Terri grabs onto her to prevent herself from being sucked in, while her music player was sucked into the portal. The portal closes and they both end up getting impressed.
"Since then, we've been able to repeat the anomaly several times..."
(Flashback ends)
"But no matter how many times I do it. no one believes me!" Dr. Frakes walk towards some monitors. "Everyone says that my images are faked. Hard to get a good picture with all that magnetic distortion."
Then the monitors turned on where it shows multiple world including some brick toys, a house with an owl on it, monster factory, and a city filled with animals in each building. Anne and the Plantars gasps. Dipper is writing down on his journal as he amazed. Mabel took a picture on her phone.
"But here today, I will prove otherwise! Now... who's ready to see me burst through space-time?"
"Doctor, this process is still very unstable and dangerous. Should we really involve civilians?" Terri asked when concern.
"(imitating Terri's voice) "Unstable and dangerous". Fine! Fine! We'll let the press decide!"
"I think one of those pictures is Amphibia. I'm almost somewhat certain about it!" said Hop Pop grabs Anne from her shirt.
"I'm not so sure, guys. The images look pretty fuzzy. And besides, we just came to ask questions." replied Anne.
"Yeah, I can tell that this image needs to be HD a bit." said Pacifica.
"Look! Monsters, bricks, animals, and some talking vehicles! I could really recognize it." said Mabel.
"Good eye, Mabel." said Dipper smiling.
"OK, but can we at least look through it?" Sprig asked.
"Please, Anne! We'd be able to see home again!" said Polly grabbing on Anne's shirt.
"No! We have no idea what will happen! It's too dangerous!" Anne declined.
"Yes!" Mabel whispered in victory.
The Plantars fall to the ground and become even more depressed. Anne got really annoyed.
"(groans) Fine! Just a peek. But then you're not allowed to be sad for the rest of your lives. Got it?" said Anne sternly.
"Yeah!" The Plantars cheers when Sprig and Polly high five.
"Oh, for crying out loud! How hard is it to say no! What happen to our teamwork?! Why won't you just stop giving her a look just for once! ONCE!" Mabel snaps.
"Mabel, pull yourself together." said Pacifica when trying to comfort.
"NO! Not until they stop giving her a sad face! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?!"
Mabel takes her breathe after she yells as they all looked at her when stunned. She looked at her friends realized something.
"Sorry, it's just... it's our last day before we head back home. I just we wish we should all work together." said Mabel sadly.
Anne and the Plantars felt bad at them. Anne knew that she can't break her friends promise. Both Mickey and Phineas made promise that they will find a way. Anne knelt down at Mabel when giving her a comfort.
"Don't worry, Mabel. You can still come back and visit to my house. I won't break any promise." said Anne.
"Thanks, Anne." replied Mabel.
"All right, Dr. Frakes, let's see that portal." said Anne when standing up.
"That's what I'm talking about, baby!" said Dr. Frakes as she runs to the portal computer, then she readies the ignition, and by pressing the red button, a portal is opening.
"It's..." Hop Pop and his grandkids begin to rejoice when the portal gets bigger. "IT'S..."
The portal opens completely, but a different landscape to Amphibia is shown. The land scape is somehow that it turns out to be a Green Hill Zone. The Plantars were grieve.
"Not Amphibia."
The portal suddenly closes and causes an electrical explosion, causing Anne and her friends to fall from the air wave. Meanwhile, the explosion causes a blackout throughout the Brainsium. The people notice it. As Dr. Frakes and Terri cough from the dust, they both stand up.
"Unfortunately, I can only hold the portal open for about 5 seconds before it collapses and-" She pause her sentence as she breaks off and along with Terry, then they notice the Plantars. "Uuuhhh... were you three always talking frogs?
It can tell that the explosion took the Plantars out of their disguises. Sprig sits speechless while he lost his hat, mask, and right shoe. Polly stands up and she gasps as she notices that she lost all of her disguise. And it shows that Hop Pop lost all of his clothes and greets them while he giggles. Terri gasps in shock. The teens were shocked as well.
"OH NO! THE DISGUISES!" Dipper yells.
"Uh oh!" Stitch worries.
"Ummm... so... I can explain it." said Anne nervously.
"We're frogs people from another dimension!" said Hop Pop waving his arms.
"We just wanna go hooomeee!" said Sprig jumps up to Anne and hugs her tight.
"I knew they weren't reporters." said Terri.
Dr. Frakes walks over to the Plants and takes some Hop Pop mucus to check it out.
"Hmm..." Then she touches Polly's right eye.
"Ow." Polly yelps.
"I see..." Dr. Frakes sniffs the scent of Sprig when he's nervous. Dipper started to get suspicious at her knowing that something is not right.
"Terri, clear my schedule." Dr. Frakes shoved Anne out. "Frakes Field activate!"
Dr. Frakes turns on her device that she wears on her right wrist, in which she forms a force field surrounding the Plantar and thus, completely enclosing them while they end up immobilized. Dr. Frakes runs them off while laughing maniacally. Anne and her friends were shocked.
"NO!" Mabel shouted.
"What are you doing?!" Dipper yells.
"I can see the titular: "Freaks Frogs change the world"! I'll be the most famous scientist in history, as soon as I dissect you and catalog your organs." replied Dr. Frakes when she ran off.
"You won't get away with this!" Wendy accused the woman.
"NAGA TAKA!" Stitch growls.
"GET HER!" Mabel yells.
Anne and her friends start to chase after Dr. Frakes.
"Come back with my frog family!" Anne yells then she looked back at Terri who runs behind her. "Don't try to stop me, Terri!"
"I'm not! Frakes may be an unparalleled genius but that doesn't mean she can just kidnap people. We have to stop her." replied Terri.
After Dr. Frakes left, she close the door behind her while Anne and her friends approached.
"Oh. Well, that's a nice turn. Let's do this!" said Anne.
"I like her!" said Mabel.
"Let's go get that witch!" said Pacifica.
"HIYAH!" Both Anne and Terri kick the door open together.
They run after Dr. Frakes inside the Brainasium's living room as they ran pass some guests leaving them all into shock and confused. Dipper has to cover this up quickly.
"Don't be alarm! Just some puppets here!" Dipper made an announcement.
Terri looks at Dr. Frakes as she enters the dissection lab running.
"There! The stairs! She's heading for the dissection lab!" said Terri.
Anne and her friends are about to head upstairs, but they are intervened by a trio of starving children.
"Snacks!"
"Snacks!"
"Back off, you little brats!" Pacifica snaps.
Terri realized that she has snack bar in her pocket.
"Oh, no! My granola bar from lunch! Run, Anne! Go! I'll be fine!" Terri pushes Anne before kids surrounds her.
"Ooh. Snacks." The girl walks down the stairs and then she goes after Terri.
Anne looks at Terri for a moment and then she starts to walk down the road.
"Guys, come on!" said Anne.
Dipper, Mabel, Pacifica, and Wendy runs upstairs while Stitch climbs on when he crawls. And then they enter the dissection lab as Anne kicks the door. She stops to see the Plantars, who are terrified and tied up on the dissection table. They were all shockingly horrified.
"SPRIG! POLLY! HOP POP!" Anne yells.
"ANNE!" Polly yells.
"HELP!" Hop Pop yells.
"Pokey things!" Sprig frantics.
It is seen that Dr. Frakes handles some tools for dissection. Anne tries to open the door while she groans, but it is blocked and then she tries to smash the window, but she couldn't either. Dipper and Mabel banged against the door to get in.
"LET US IN!" Dipper shouted.
"LET OUR FRIENDS GO YOU CREEP!" Mabel angrily yells.
"You can't stop me, Anne. When I'm done, everyone know my name." said Dr. Frakes preparing a lever for dissection.
"You're crazy, Dr. Fink." said Polly.
"IT"S FRAKES!"
"Whatever."
"Not today!" Anne grabs the large ear sample and pounds the window while she groans, but it didn't break. "Dang it."
Stitch tries to scratch the window to break in and rescue his friends, but it's no use.
"Anne!"
They all looked at Terri when one of the kid was holding onto her right leg.
"Here! Take my card!"
"Don't you dare, Terri. One e-mail from me and you'll never work in any scientific field ever again. Do you really want to risk your entire career for these creatures?" said Dr. Frakes threatens.
Terri has to choose. Save the frogs or keep her job. Anne looks at Terri with a long face. The Pine Twins giving her a guilty look. Dr. Frakes gives an evil smile. Then Terri knew what she needs to do as she breathes hard. She has made her choice.
"Yep."
Terri throws her card towards the access sensor and thus the door opens.
"NOOOOOOOOO!" Dr. Frakes yells.
She pulls all the levers with her right arm and thus the tools approach the Plantars fast, causing them more fright. Stitch manages to stop the tools with the big ear sample while Anne frees the Plantars.
"Let's go!" said Anne.
"Eh!" Stitch nodded.
Anne and her friends runs out from the room before Dr. Frakes tries to reach them.
"Terri!"
But she blocked by Terri when locks the door and runs away to join with her new friends.
"TERRI! STOP IT, TERRI!" Dr. Frakes bangs on the window while screaming in anger.
Anne, Terri, and their friends escape from the room just in time, but Dr. Frakes leaves the room with the buzzsaw and she chases them. Later on, all of the children are watching penguin documentary on TV.
"Behold the baby penguin, so noble, fluffy, and precious."
Dr. Frakes slices the television in half with the buzzsaw while screaming, frightening the children. She continues with the chase. The parents were mixed of frighten and anger at the old woman.
"I'M CALLING THE POLICE!" shouted The father.
"What do we do, Anne? She's after us and madder than a hornet!" said Hop Pop.
"Yeah! Madder than mad scientist!" said Mabel.
"I have an idea." said Anne as they stop running when Anne gave the Plantar to Terri. "Terri, take the Plantars and go."
Terri nodded as she ran off holding the Plantars while Stitch and the teens follow behind. Anne has one more trick left as soon as Dr. Frakes approach.
"Here's a physics lesson for you, Anne, I'm bigger than you and I have momentum. YOU CAN'T STOP ME!" Dr. Frakes shouted.
"I have a lesson for you too." Anne pulls out her bags of cookies. "Cookies really are the answer to all of life's problems."
Anne toss the bag of cookies at Frakes when she stops laughing as she caught the bag thus dropping the buzzsaw.
"Oh."
"HEY KIDS, SNACK TIME!" Anne shouted.
"Huh?"
"COOOKIIEEES!" All of the children turn their heads at Dr. Frakes.
They all ran to her as they tumbled on like how the zombies devouring the victim as she screams.
"What? NOOOOOOOOOOOO! This is all your fault, Terri! YOU'LL NEVER WORK AGAIN, ARE YOU HEAR ME? NEVER AGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIN!" Dr. Frakes shouted as she was defeated by children.
Anne and all of her friends are exiting the building as they finally escape from the science center.
"Good thinking!" Hop Pop congratulate Anne.
"Nice job, Anne!" Sprig added.
"Any cookies left?" Polly asked.
"Cookies? Where?!" Stitch asked.
Meanwhile back inside from the lab where the portal was left damaged, just then when a green flame burst where it only shows Pete and Maleficent as they appeared. Pete looked around at this area where it leaves a mess.
"Whoa! What happen here?" Pete asked when looked surprised.
"Isn't it obvious? That mad woman was a fool and blind enough to prove that the multiverse exist." Maleficent answered.
"So, why are we here then?"
"We are looking for the blueprint that you mentioned it. I must have the portal to built of my own."
"Now I see why you're getting it. Better start searching."
Pete walked over to the office while Maleficent stand still. She took a glance at the monitor and looked closer to one of the screen when flickered. She looked closer to see what it is. Somehow, she smirked as she noticed something.
"Can it be?"
Pete reappears holding the blueprint.
"Found it!"
Maleficent looked at Pete holding the blueprint.
"Got it right here. Like you ask." said Pete holding the blueprint that has the portal.
"Yes, just what we need. We must leave before anyone else noticed."
Pete walk closer to Maleficent and then she teleport herself and Pete away with flames leaving all behind. When the computer monitor flicks again, it shows a blur that looks like a young witch with cloak on her.
Later in the evening, Terri takes Anne, Stitch, and the Plantars back to the Boonchuy residence inside her car. Anne was on the phone with Dipper as soon as they left the science center.
"Don't worry, Dipper. I'll see you soon when we're ready." said Anne.
"Yeah, it's been fun while lasted." said Dipper.
"Hope you have a wonderful time with your family." Mabel added.
"Hey, Anne, tell Mickey we say hi." Wendy added.
"Take care of yourself." Pacifica added.
"Thanks guys. See you soon." said Anne ended the call.
The Plantars were nervous at first since the whole incident. Sprig fiddled with his finger. Polly looked down sadly. Hop Pop felt ashamed for all this. Stitch, however is the only one that never complains. He truly understand any emotions. Anne turns her head at the Plantars with a stern look. She just had enough of the guilt.
"Look, guys, I'm doing my best to get us back to Amphibia, Okay? And I get how much you miss it, but you gotta stop guilting me. I can't resist!"
"No more guilty look." said Stitch reminded them.
"Sorry, Anne." Sprig apologize sadly.
"We should have known better. The Plantars always did have powerful guiltin' skills." said Hop Pop.
"Yeah, but you cost this poor lady her job and nearly got dissected." said Anne.
"I think you all actually did me a favor. Frakes was brilliant, but also a huge jerk. This whole thing reminded me that science is for helping others, not just helping yourself. And I think the portal we'll build together will be more than enough to get me a grant." said Terri.
"Wait, you mean..."
"What?" Hop Pop gasps.
Both Sprig and Polly gasp.
"Yep. I'm gonna help you get these goobers home."
The Plantars celebrated with joy. Anne couldn't believe that Terri is going to help the Plantars to get them back home by building a new portal.
"Say um... can I ask you a favor?" Anne asked.
"Sure." replied Terri.
"Well, I have a couple of friends of mine that are basically cartoon characters while others are just normal people. Maybe they could help you."
"For real? Sure. I would very much like to meet them in person. I mean after all, they're all my favorite childhood."
"Ohana." said Stitch.
"Yeah, ohana."
"Thanks, Terri. You're a good people." said Anne.
"Hey, Terri, can I drive your car? Please!" Sprig asked kindly showing his puppy face.
"Aaawww, just look at that face. Well, Okay." said Terri.
"Terri, no!" Anne, Polly, and Hop Pop said together.
From the freeway is shown in a panoramic view, Sprig loses control of Terri's car, causing Anne, Polly, Hop Pop, and Terri to scream while Stitch cheers much to his excitement.
"YEEEEHAAAAWWW!"
Meanwhile at the apartment, Ford and Stan are packing up as they about to head back home. Once Waddles was setup by wearing a harness, Stan stood up fixing his bean hat.
"Hey Ford, ready to head back?" Stan asked.
"Better than ever. It took days to find some evidence from the junkyard, but none of the scraps were there." replied Ford.
"Hey, don't break a leg!" Stan teased pulling out a robot leg from the junkyard. "Huh? Get it? Break a leg?"
"(chuckled) You silly. You sure you gonna bring to the airport?"
"As if. There's no way I'm going back home empty handed."
"Sounds good enough for me."
Stan picks up the brief case as he opens the door and holds the leash letting Waddles out. When Ford wears his satchel as he about to head out, but then he turn his head when he thought he heard something. He looked around to make sure there's nothing in it. He just shrugged and close the door. But then there was a shadow of a triangle emerge from its hiding before leave the area in this room.
