Chapter 39: King of the Monsters
Back at the Boonchuys' house on cloudy day, Anne and the Plantars are in the attic to search something that's important with Phineas, Ferb, Isabella, and Candace that are helping out. After she explain everything t her friends, they got back from door to door, but what worries them that Anne has seen like no other titans are like this big.
Anne and the Plantars are moving some boxes around to find something while Isabella and the Flynn-Fletchers siblings are looking through boxes to find something. Hop Pop was unsure what Anne has been doing.
"Why are we searching for this again?" Hop Pop asked.
"So, I can show you for what I've seen before. I could've sworn I put it here somewhere." replied Anne.
"So, just one question, Phineas. How long have you known about this giant monsters?" Sprig asked curious.
"I wouldn't say about giant monsters, but there were called titans when my friends and I made a close encounter in Antarctica where Godzilla fought against Monster Zero." replied Phineas.
"What is Monster Zero?"
"Trust me. You don't want to know." replied Candace.
"Come on. Where is it." Anne muttered when looking through some Christmas decoration.
Just then, Oum and Bee came in when they took noticed and looked confused that their daughter and her friends were moving some stuff around.
"Anne? What are you doing?" Bee asked.
"Looking through some stuff where I just put it away." Anne answered, but still looking.
"What stuff are you looking?" Oum asked.
Before Anne can reply, Sprig cuts in when he calls out.
"Found it!" said Sprig.
They've stop what they're doing and went over to Sprig with a box says "Anne's Secret Stuff" as the Thai girl smiles.
"Here it is. My personal stuff." said Anne.
"Ooh! What's in it?" Sprig puzzled.
"Is it your boyfriend?" Hop Pop asked when smiling at her.
"Can you please, stop with the boyfriend!" Anne snaps.
"Sorry. I was just asking." Hop Pop apologizes.
"What's wrong with that?" Candace asked.
"Honestly, you don't want to know." replied Anne.
When she knelt down, then opens the box, she took out some stuff like newspaper and set on the the floor where everyone can see, but her parents however, raise their eyebrows with their concerns look.
Sprig picks up one of the newspapers and read on the front page that says "King of the Monsters! Savior of our city!", then Hop Pop picks up another one and read the front page that says "Three Headed Monster Flooded Washington D.C.", and then Candace picks up another, but when she's reading it, she shuddered quietly.
"I remember when I went to Boston with my brothers." Candace mumbled.
"Anne, where did you get all of this?" Oum asked calmly.
"Sorry, mom. But there's something important I have to show this to them." Anne apologizes.
"Yes, but we talked about this."
"I know how much it scares you, but what I know is some answers."
"Look, your mother and I came to agree that we should never talk about it since that incident." said Bee.
"You mean the place in San Francisco where monsters fought?" Sprig asked.
"Yes, but... Wait, do you know about this?"
"Well, Anne and I went time travel by accident when she tried to fix-"
"Sprig! Not now!" Anne hushes him.
"Sorry."
"Time travel?" Oum raised her eyebrows.
"They went back in time by accident by using the time tape measure that Ferb and I were making, but it wasn't their fault. We would never want to mess with time and space." said Phineas.
"It's true, Mr. and Mrs. Boonchuy. He told me everything that changing the past doesn't fix anything." Hop Pop added kindly.
"That's understandable." Bee muttered
"Like he said, when Sprig and I accidentally time travel once we reach back in 2014 as I my memory triggers. I saw you and and dad running while carrying me as a kid before we made encounter with Godzilla." said Anne.
"So, how big was it?" Polly asked.
"He's like around 355 feet tall and then he's 393 feet tall." Ferb answers.
"Cool!"
"No, not cool! He looks terrifying!" Sprig denies it.
"Sprig, he saves many lives including me and my parents." said Anne.
"Well, how do you know that he's not attacking you?"
"Because he's the only one that can restore balance to nature whenever it disrupts it. Marcy keeps talking about the titans while searching through the webs when we grow up and it was before we disappeared."
"Anne, I though you said there weren't any giant creatures like from out world?" Hop Pop asked.
"Even if I did tell you, then you'll be freaked out." replied Anne.
"Tell me everything! I want to know how big he is!" said Polly eagerly.
"Now, Polly. Maybe it's for the best to-"
"Please, I need to know more about what happened when you're little." Sprig cut offs Hop Pop's words.
Anne took a quick look at her parents with concerned face. She knew that they weren't gonna say no, but instead they nodded as approval. Anne sighed softly when relieved and then she turns her heads back to the Plantars.
"Okay, it was all started when I was eight years old...
(Flashback starts)
We cut to a flashback from San Francisco in 2014 where all men and women are evacuating the city after the rumor has when something big is coming. All school buses that carry children were already left from the city, but some were staying with their parents when they are needed.
"My parents and I are on a road trip to San Francisco where we visit for China Town, but then there's an evacuation when giant monsters are coming. We will never forget the day when our life's change."
Then it shows Anne as eight years old, sitting in the back of the rent car with her parents, but they were stuck in traffic when car runs slow. She was looking out at the window where everyone was walking when it rains.
She was feeling nervous when something was wrong. Bee was having a hard time to get through the traffic when he hears some cars honking. Oum looks back at her daughter when holding her bag with baby carrots with mixture.
Then suddenly, they heard a huge gunshot from the tank when echo until there were some huge roars. Anne perks up when gasp. Her parents heard it, but didn't know where that roar comes from.
"What was that?" Bee puzzled.
"Is that an elephant?" Oum confusingly asked.
But all of sudden, their car was suddenly turned off. All of the cars went out. Then the whole city was shutdown. Everyone started to confused. Bee noticed when the engine is off and tries to turn his keys to turn it back on.
"Come on. Come on." Bee muttered.
"What just happened"? Oum asked.
"The battery is dead."
Oum took her phone to call someone, but what surprised her when there are no bars or 5G's available.
"That's strange. There must've been some sort of power outage." Oum mumbled.
Anne may be too young, but she didn't know that the power was out, but when she saw a man running pass them, then more people run by as they all took noticed and started to panic. Anne's parents took noticed, but confused that everyone runs by and screaming.
"What is that?!"
"Let's get out of here!"
"Run!"
They run off screaming as the couples were confused, but then when Bee opens the window to see what's all the commotion, but what's shocking him is when there was a big collapse by the dust until he hears a huge roar when it startles Anne. Oum looks back from the window, but looked shocked.
"Oh, shoot! What is that?!" Bee exclaimed.
"Honey, we need to go! Now!" said Oum.
He knew when there's no time to argue. They took off their seatbelt and got out from the front. Oum opens the door to get Anne out while her husband went to grab Anne's backpack. She's carrying Anne as the Boonchuy couple started to run by leaving the rent car behind.
"Mommy?" Anne raised her voice when scared.
"It's okay, Anne! It's gonna be okay! Just hold on!" Oum soothed her while running.
When Anne looks up from the view like she's going backwards, but what scares her when there's a huge a monster with wingspan that just flew in from the sky by shaking the whole city. Her parents almost fell, but they still got themselves balanced.
Just then when the winged monster roared, there's another one, but a huge silhouette in the dust clouds until it reveals to be way bigger with redeyes. Anne was having Teraphobia meaning that she had fear of monsters.
As her parents reach to take shelter inside the building, then the giant monster start digging through the hole by wrecking part of the city. Oum set her daughter after her husband went to take cover under the table, the she sat down next to Anne as the girl started to cry when she's scared.
"Mommy!" Anne cried.
"Just stay under the table!" said Bee when instructed.
"Hang on, sweetie. Hang on." Oum soothing her to calm down.
As the building started to shake up when it continues, some stuff started to fall off when most parts were collapse. Anne let out a scream while her parents were hugging her tight in protection before we cut into black.
Then few hours later when it's getting dark in the middle of the stormy night after the rain stop, but then there was a huge fight going out there when city was left in damaged, with fire going and buildings collapse.
Inside of the shelter, Bee and Oum were sitting with Anne that are praying. The little Thai girl is sitting crossing her knees while hugging her backpack when crying, but temporally calm while scared a bit.
"It took us few hours when we were stranded. I was really scared while my parents are protecting me. It's like I woke up from a bad dream. We were trapped under the rubble and we have no place to go."
"We've spent hours for anyone to help us free, but nobody came to help us and it took us forever to get ourselves out from the shelter. We were praying for desperate and hope for anyone will come and saved us, but then we thought when there's another one that we have never heard or seen this titan."
But suddenly, their praying was interrupted by a huge growl when they open their eyes and slowly stood up. Bee takes a peek through the hole, but he can't see where that huge noise is coming. Oum is carrying her daughter when looked a scared, but until they heard a huge a really big loud roar.
SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEONK!
Anne and her parents quickly covered their ears when it's getting louder and louder until it stops. Anne got jump scared when it's all too loud and then she started to breathe shaking. Then there's the same roar that attack the city until the city started to rumble.
Both parents knew that there's no time sit here and get crumpled to death. Bee has save enough strength to clear the wrecked parts out of the way since their only exit was blocked until the path was cleared.
Oum is lifting up her daughter in her arms while Anne is wearing her backpack. This poor girl wants this nightmare to end. She wants to go back home with her childhood friends and be with them forever. Oum could hear Anne's whimpering when let out a cry again.
"It's okay. It's okay." Oum soothing Anne.
Then finally Bee clears the exit, he quickly pulls the door to allow his wife and daughter to flee quickly.
"Got it! Come on! We gotta go!" said Bee.
Both parents and a child got out from shelter as they started to run away from the scene, but then without a warning, there's a huge explosive behind them causing some part of building collapse as the Boonchuys covered themselves until the smokes clears.
They turn their heads at the explosives that just blew up and looked shocked that they didn't know what just happened, but then they heard a roar. A mourning roar where the big one is rushing toward that turns out to be a huge nest, but it was already covered with fire after the explosives.
As the giant unidentified monster growl in mourn, Anne's parents carefully step back without making a sound, at least no one made a sound when they heard a crumbling, but the sound got the big one's attention. It perks up as the monster was staring at them.
All three of them were shockingly horrified as the monster moves closer with an angry growl. They frighteningly took step back towards one of the wrecked cars as they hugged their daughter, thinking that this could be the end of them while Anne let's out her horrified childish scream.
But then when the monster stops, it senses something when there's a big glowing blue that first light up as the family looked shocked and surprised that thing just stops, but then blue light just keeps going on and on until it turns out that it glows on the dorsal plates that belongs on its back and what's shocking them that they have never seen such creature that is huge.
"Is that a dinosaur?!" Bee asked when stunned.
None other than the apex titan, Godzilla who attacked with a sudden blast of his atomic breath on his opponent. As the Boonchuys had witness that Godzilla just went to attack on his enemy after they covered their eyes when it's too bright until he stops. Just then when another monster with wingspan flew behind Godzilla and pulled him out of the way, allowing the female to recovers and start to chase.
The Boonchuys grew their eyes wide with horrified reaction and start running when they thought it's going after them. Anne screams really loud when it's getting closer while holding on to her mother until they went take cover by running towards the city alley.
But instead, the monster ran past by going over as the parents stops running and went shocked that it didn't kill them, but what's even worse when it started to attack men that's keep firing guns at her at the docking bay.
Their thoughts were interrupted when Godzilla roars. The flying monster flew behind Godzilla to try and grab him again, but Godzilla anticipates his next move and, with a mighty swing of his tail, slammed the winged monster into the side of a skyscraper, which impales and killing him. Godzilla stopped for a moment to catch his breath, only for the skyscraper to collapse onto him and bury him in debris when dust settles.
The Boonchuys' parents were catching their breathe after a big witness of monster battle. Anne was breathing fast like she was scared. Oum is rubbing her daughter's head to calm her down from crying by hushing her very gently. For Bee, however cannot believe what he has just seen.
"D-did you see that? He killed that thing!" Bee exclaimed.
"Is everyone dead?" Anne frighten asked.
Oum could see her daughter's frighten look.
"Oh, no sweetie. They're not dead. They're okay." Oum soothing Anne.
"Honey, I don't know when everyone was injured or missing, but that giant lizard just kill that thing! Why didn't he attack us?!" Bee frantic.
"I-I don't know, but... but why?" Oum set her daughter down gently.
Then their thoughts were interrupt when they heard some gunshots as the soldiers are firing at the unidentified monster, but ultimately killed when died defending the city. Anne and her parents were shockingly horrified at the monster, but then they heard a rumble going until the dust settled.
It turns out that Godzilla is still alive. They were stunned that he still lives, buy they were afraid if Godzilla is going after them. Instead, he just went ahead to finish her off as Godzilla is rushing toward to the docking bay.
"Where's he going?" Bee asked when stunned.
"I-I think he's going to kill it." Oum answered quietly.
Anne blinked her eyes. She couldn't understand why he's after that thing instead of her and her family. To her, it was all very scary when monsters attack, but what she sees is that Godzilla is almost lurking behind the giant parasite that was attempting to take out the boat. Before the monster chomps down slowly towards the boat, but Godzilla came up behind and clamped his jaws down on her neck, pulling her away from the boat.
Godzilla grabbed the jaws, pried them open, and finished her off in a "Kiss of Death" fatality by firing his atomic breath down her throat until her neck blew open and her head tore off, killing her instantly. Anne and her parents were shock and awe. After decapitating the monster's head, Godzilla roared victoriously before dropping her head before all the powers went back on.
SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEONK!
The Boonchuys were surprised that the whole city went back on, but some were destroyed or damaged during the battle.
"I don't believe it. He did it." Bee surprised softly.
Oum set her daughter down gently and then took her phone out to see her 5G's are on as the mother felt relieve that the power was restored. She tried to contact to call for help, but then they heard a huge thump when Godzilla just took step to the dock and then collapsing to the ground due to exhaustion.
Anne gasp softly, but then there's some sort of blue that she just stepped on. Anne looks down at her feet and picks it up. She looks at the rock that just keeps flickering as the girl looked curious that how does the rock that glows blue.
She looks at where Godzilla collapse, but she realizes that the dorsal on his back was flickering, then she realizes that the piece she found was actually the fallen dorsal that was broken, and then she ran off, leaving her parents when shocked as the Thai girl is running where Godzilla collapse. She could hear her parents yelling at her to come back, but she just ignored.
It won't be long when Anne keeps running through the city while her parents are following her behind, trying to yell out to stop, but she didn't hear them. Anne carefully jumps over some rubbles and rocks without falling once she reaches up and climb up until she has made it where it ends.
Anne looks up where she can clearly see Godzilla up close as the titan is breathing when exhausting. She can feel her hair as the wind blows not just some air, but a titans' breathing through his nostrils.
Just then, when her parents arrive as they carefully not to fall off while climbing up to reach their daughter. Oum and Bee felt heavily relief that their daughter is okay, but the mother of the family forms her strictly and worrisome as Oum was going to scold her for running off.
"ANNE SAVISA BOONCHUY!" Oum yells.
Anne startled when she turns around when her mother is giving her a mixture with worries and scolded look. She knew that her mother was very strict.
"You can't just run off like this! What were you thinking?!" Oum scolded when looks upset.
Anne was going to argue, but went hesitate to reply and looked sad. Oum drops her strict and realize that she just yells at her. She knelt down on her knees to see her daughter with her sad look, then she reaches her hands to cup her daughter's cheeks to comfort her.
As the child looks at her mother's face with her sad look, then Anne turns around to see Godzilla as the girl took her step closer to reach her left hand to touch on Godzilla. Oum was about to grab her, but Bee laid his hands on his wife's shoulder, saying that he's not moving.
Oum was worried if anything happens to her. Anne was hesitated at first, but she slowly reaches her left hand carefully while holding the falling dorsal on her right hand until she gently touch in the center.
She could feel that his skin was made of rock, but that's because he's big. A really huge reptile skin. When Anne is rubbing it slowly that the scale looks really cold. The way she looks up at Godzilla, but his eyes slowly open as the titan felt presence.
He moves his eyes down to the human girl and he can see that she was standing in front of his huge short snout with her parents behind. Godzilla stares down at Anne and identifies her as the one who let out a scream for help.
He looked curious, thinking why would this child is touching her? Anne has never seen a giant monster this close before. She used to be afraid when San Francisco was attacked, but what she saw that he saved her and her family from his opponent attack and then she started to speak softly.
"You saved me. Why?"
Godzilla can see why this child is asking him. How could he have not? Then he replied as he purrs softly when breathing through his nostrils. But without a warning, there was a huge flash, but with a distance faint sound when nobody know that the flash just explodes far away from the him and the city.
Until his dorsal started to glow as the smallest fallen dorsal in Anne's hand that started to glow. And by then, Godzilla let out a small fraction of atomic breath to the smallest dorsal until it started to glow, but then it glows blue all around her.
Anne looks surprise that her body glows blue, but this is what she thinks that she didn't know that the smallest dorsal was glowing like a link to a connection. Oum gasp when she covers her mouth with her small tears and looks afraid that her daughter is glowing. Bee was stunned softly like how is this possible.
Once the dorsal glows down around her, then she could hear Godzilla slowly breathe through his nose and then he slowly closes his eyes when exhaustions took over. Anne felt her heart is pumping, but she felt normal.
Anne turns around to her parents with her calm looks. Oum softly sighed with relif. Bee knelt down and gently take it from Anne as he started to examine the smaller dorsal that fell.
"What is that?" Bee curious asked.
Oum takes a closer look where her husband is holding. When she looks at it, she's wondering where did it come from. Then the Boonchuy family looks up that Godzilla is unconscious and when the sun rise from the east, the military forces will arrive shortly and they shall never forget from that dreadful memory.
(Flashback ends)
"After the military force has arrived, they insist that we should be leaving as soon as more help will search and rescue for the survivors and until Godzilla wakes up as he regains conscious after the battle and he's returning back to the ocean so that he can rest to regenerate his atomic energy." Anne finishes her story.
Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop were both stunned and shocked softly as the frog family felt empathy to her for what she and her parents have been through. Even Phineas, Ferb, Candace, and Isabella have felt bad about their friend.
Oum and Bee remembers as they both have their bad memories. As parents, they weren't so sure if Anne is ready to be capable of handling of all situations, but now they understand when their daughter has changed into a big girl like they always wanted, but different from Amphibia.
When Anne finishes her story, she looks at what's inside was a small box. Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop started to wonder what else that lives on Earth besides such dangerous creatures like from their own world, but still concern about the city.
"So, what happen to San Francisco?" Hop Pop asked when concern.
"It's going to take a few years to rebuild, but suddenly when it came out of the blue, the whole city has just rebuilt more faster than we expected. It's like when you snap with a finger like this." Anne answered when she snaps her finger.
"Really?" Sprig blinked.
"You mean like magic?" Polly asked.
"Exactly. My theory state that either it could be the mutants or the wizards." replied Anne.
"Does anyone know about this? Your friends?" Hop Pop asked sincerely.
"Nobody believes me, except my closest friends. The ones I truly cared." Anne answered softly.
Now the Plantars understand what it's like to have such trauma. Hop Pop did tell Anne about what the herons that devours Sprig and Polly's parents, his own daughter and son-in-law. He understands her pain like all humans do. He sadly sighed.
"Now, I understand. I know what's like to have such trauma back in my day, but that doesn't make an excuse for being such a good grandfather to my children." said Hop Pop sadly.
"No, don't you ever beat yourself up. What matter's now is we stay together as family." said Anne.
"She's right. We're family, and we leave no one behind." Sprig added very wisely.
Hop Pop formed his smile at his grandson. Then all of sudden, when Anne took noticed when something that just glowing when it's getting bright. Sprig was a bit confused at first.
"Uh, was it something I said?"
Anne pointed her finger. Most of her friends noticed that look, but then turns around at the window, but then they started look puzzled and wondering where the light comes from.
"Huh? What's that?" Phineas asked.
They have no clue where the light comes from, but until when the light lowers down, it was a pink fairy butterfly like creature with big round blue eyes as the butterfly chirps happily. Anne was quite surprised.
"Hey, I know you." said Anne smiling.
"Wait, you know this butterfly?" Sprig asked when surprise.
"Yeah, it's that butterfly I saw on Christmas Eve."
"What? You mean you have a pet and you didn't tell me?!" Polly stunned.
The butterfly like creature tilted its head when confused.
"I wouldn't say pet, but it's-"
"Fairy Mothra." Isabella cuts off Anne's word while smiling.
Everyone in this room were shocked except for Phneas, Ferb, and Candace that were smiling.
"Fairy Mothra?!" Anne blinked repeatedly.
"Yeah, last year she came to Earth to warn us about what's coming." Phineas answered.
"How do you know its name?" Hop Pop asked curiously.
"Ferb and I made close encounter with any titans. There's Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and Ghidorah. All four of them."
"Wait, there's more?!" Sprig raise his eyebrows.
"A what now?" Hop Pop's confused.
"I thought you said there aren't any giant monsters?!" Polly raises her flippers.
"Remember what Stanford talks about histories with anomalies?" Anne asked.
The frogs didn't reply, but blinking their eyes.
"Exactly, but I was gonna tell you if you don't freak out."
"Then how can you be so calm?" Sprig waving his arms.
"Well, I was afraid when I was eight, and then I almost got eaten by some monsters like giant snake and barbariants with you dragging along." Anne answered.
"Touché."
"Wait, aren't you a little young to made contact with the titans?" Bee asked when raising his eyebrows to Phineas.
"Yes, yes we are." Phineas answered.
Oum took step closer to Fairy Mothra as the Thai woman formed her smile warmly.
"It looks kinda cute, if it's alright." said Oum when slowly reaching her arm to pet it on her head.
Then Fairy Mothra chirps happily when she's being petted. Oum let out a soft giggle. Anne could tell that her mother really loves butterfly. Isabella steps up and petted on her head as well.
"Hey, little Fairy. Long time, no see." said Isabella.
Fairy Mothra replied with happily chirped making the girl soft giggles. Sprig took step closer to Fairy Mothra and started to pet it. This made him a soft laugh when he felt the head was all fuzzy. Anne started to wonder why she's here in the first place.
"Fairy Mothra, huh? I never knew that you came here." said Anne when knelt down.
The butterfly fairy looks up at Anne curious before she continues.
"Why did you come here in the first place." Anne asked kindly.
Fairy Mothra replies with a chirp, then she glows her antennas by using her magic power until there's something that just started glow inside of the small box. Anne looks down and looked disbelief, but then realize why what's in it.
Anne opens the lid of the box and it turns out that the same fallen dorsal fractal that she brought home from San Francisco. She picks it up from the box as it keeps glowing blue. Everyone looks surprise, but her parents already knew what this is.
"What is that?" Hop Pop asked.
"It looks like some sorta rock that you kept it." Polly guessed.
"It's the dorsal spike that just fell off from Godzilla when he was fighting with MUTO. Dad suggest that we should locked up safe so that no one knows what this is." replied Anne.
"Anne, that thing you are holding was glowing blue! Just like your power!" said Sprig.
"Yeah, but it's different. The power I have was from Calamity Box. This fractal was made of radiations when Godzilla breathes fire."
"That's right. The only difference is between you and Godzilla. You have your calamity power and he has nuclear power. My guess is that you must have link to the titan like a connection." said Phineas.
"I can do that?" Anne asked.
"I'm no so sure, but I highly doubt that's impossible."
"Oh, please. There's no way that Anne can connect to the titan. It only works from the movie" Polly scoffs.
"Actually, there are some magic or superpower here." Sprig reminds her.
"Oh. Right."
Anne is staring at the small fractal of dorsal spines for a while. Her only question is where or how is she going to solve this. But then, it gave her an idea. She looks at Phineas that formed her smile.
"Hey, Phineas? Do you know where Godzilla went?" Anne asked.
"Last time we saw him going down to the bottom of the ocean. Why do you ask?" replied Phineas.
Anne is rubbing her chin with her finger.
"I've been thinking..."
"Anne, under no circumstances, you aren't allowed to go near him in the ocean." said Bee when concerned.
"What, but dad..."
"Listen to your father. The last thing we almost lost you when we almost got killed!" Oum cuts off Anne's word.
"Mom, I know what worries you, but the piece is the only clue where we can find Godzilla." said Anne convincing.
"Anne, please! We nearly lost you in Amphibia! I can't live like this! Not now."
Anne can see her mother's eyes with her sad look. Oum nearly let out a tear, but Anne reaches her hand to touch her mother's hand to comfort her. She knew that it really hurts them so much since that incident. She can fully understand now.
"Mom, it's gonna be okay and I promise you that it won't happen again." said Anne softly.
Oum formed her small smile and nodded. Then she gently gave her daughter a warm hug until they let go. Anne turns her head a Fairy Mothra that's been sitting on the box when waited patiently. Perhaps it's time for a quest.
"Alright, little fairy. Can you show me where I can find him?" Anne asked kindly.
Fairy Mothra chirped happily meaning that she will help her, then she uses her antenna to glow until some sparkles emerge and pointing to the right direction by going through the window from the attic.
Everyone in this room where surprised that Fairy Mothra gave them a direction. Ferb took out his device and scan the fractal until it activates to find the location for Godzilla. He shows this to Phineas as the boy looks at it.
"Well, I guess I know what we're gonna do today." said Phineas.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Sprig chimes.
"Yeah!" The whole gang cheers.
Anne, the Plantars, and the kids runs out from the attic as they ran all the way downstairs to the closet where the door leads to the shed from Danville that they invented in case for a shortcut.
While they walk through the door with Fairy Mothra flew behind, Anne came in for last while telling her parents that they'll be back shortly.
"Bye mom, bye dad! We'll be back shortly.!" Anne hollers before she closes the door.
All that's left is her parents that were sitting in the attic. They were worried if anything happens to their daughter, but then again, she's a brave girl that they could ever raise her.
"Don't worry, Oum. It'll be okay." said Bee.
"I suppose so." Oum doubted.
Then suddenly, they heard the heard the doorbell. They walk downstairs to see who it was when they open the door, but what surprised the couples when Eddie, Bailey, and Lily were standing outside with Dr. Jan and the other boys.
"Uh, hey. Is... Anne here?" Eddie asked politely.
The parents in the house took their glance by moving their eyes nervously as they forgot to mention that their daughter just left and laid their eyes on the group.
"Uhhhhhh..."
Later on, somewhere in the ocean, it didn't too long since they have left the mainland when they are riding on the Sun-Beater 3000 that's been copied. The four of them are inside while Phineas and Ferb are piloting. Anne and the Plantars are in the middle while Candace and Isabella are in the back.
Fairy Mothra is sitting on Isabella's lap as the girl is holding on to the butterfly fairy. Sprig looks out the window where he can see some pod of dolphins jumping up and dive down to the water. He looked fascinated at the dolphins.
"Whoa! What are they?" Sprig curious.
They took noticed when they saw dolphins too before Anne smiles.
"Oh, they're dolphins. Everyone's favorite animal." Anne explained.
"Wait, I remember where I read this book! They're friendly, right?" Sprig guessed.
"Yep, and they're smart too."
"Cool! I wish I could ride one of these."
"We'll worried about that later. Right now, we need to find Godzilla so that we can get some answers."
"Right."
Hop Pop was unease a bit, but quite curious about the titan's existence.
"So, uh... can you tell me about this Godzilla again?" Hop Pop asked.
"Godzilla is the King of the Monsters. He's been living here before us until he was woken up from the nuclear test. Some people were afraid that he'll be attacking them, but it turns out that he was just trying to maintain the balance by the order of nature. Like from San Francisco when he killed those things. It was all over the news until five years later, things have changed." Anne explained.
"Like what?" Sprig asked.
"Ghidorah happened. Those three headed monsters that almost terrorizing our planet and nearly wiped us out from extinction!" said Candace.
"Was it dangerous?" Polly asked.
"Oh, it is dangerous alright. Very dangerous."
"She's been through a lot of traumas since we've had our last encounter." said Phineas.
"Do you have any photos?" Sprig asked.
"Way ahead of you. Ferb?"
Ferb shows some photos from his phone to Anne and the Plantars. They looked shock and awe that Phineas and his friends were all there from last year like they're in Antarctica where Godzilla fought against Ghidorah and then it shows Boston when there's two against two.
"Whoa!" Sprig stunned.
"No way!" Anne dumbfounded.
"I don't know where these things are, but it's awesome!" Polly added.
"I wouldn't say awesome, but there's a heavy damage in Boston. However, like in San Francisco, everyone must've rebuilt it fast as possible." said Phineas.
"Seriously?! It took years to rebuild the whole city!" Sprig exclaims it.
"Or it might be possibly the mysterious force." Candace remarks.
Suddenly, they heard a beeping sound as Phineas smiles, knowing that they're here.
"Well, here we are. Let's dive in." said Phineas.
"Wait, we're going underwater?!" Sprig stunned.
"Yep, now fasten your seatbelts."
They put their seatbelts on, until they were dived down underwater as the Sun-Beater 3000 has switched from airplane into like submarine when dive deep into the ocean. Anne and the Plantars were truly amazed as they looked above.
The ocean sky was big blue and then they pass some fishes and three humpback whales with their calves. Anne took her phone and took a picture of the whales. Ferb pilot down deep until they reach to the lowest level.
Phineas is looking at the green radar where the dot is the center and started to pick up some readings, but no sign of Godzilla. Hop Pop was astounded that he has never been to the bottom of the ocean.
"(gasp) Well, I'll be! This is huge!" Hop Pop gasp.
"Hey, Anne! Remember we went to the aquarium in Newtopia?" Sprig asked as he remembers.
"Oh, yeah! How could I forget? It sure brings back memories." replied Anne.
"Except that we thought that we're never gonna see each other again." Polly remarked.
"Hey, it's okay. We're not going anywhere."
Polly smiles that Anne do truly care. Then suddenly, she noticed that something just glowing inside of Anne's pocket. Sprig and Hop Pop noticed too.
"(gasp) Anne, your pocket's glowing!" Sprig pointed.
"Hm?" Anne took the fractal out from her pocket, but realize that they're getting close.
Then the radar started to pick up something. Something bigger. Phineas and Ferb take their glances at the radar. They knew that they found something. Fairy Mothra perks up before she started to chirp.
Isabella gently holds onto to the butterfly fairy on her lap to soothe her while flapping its wings. Anne turns her head back when she heard chirping, but the Plantars couldn't understand what's going on.
"Guys, I think she's picking up something." said Isabella.
Anne slowly raised her eyebrows and then she turns her head back towards to the front.
"Phineas, did you read anything?" Anne asked.
"Looks like we're here alright, but be cautious. We've picking up some readings." replied Phineas.
Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop were nervous at first.
"I have a bad feeling about this, kids." Hop Pop whispered.
Once Ferb is slowing the Sun-Beater down, then the headlights were on from the front. All they have to do is be quiet so that they can hear something that's big. It was all quiet while the radar's beeping.
As the fractal continues to glow repeatedly slowly flickering, but until there's something's big that just flickers when they're startled. They were staring through the window, but they could've sworn that they something.
But then, it flickers again when it glows blue. Anne slowly raised her eyebrows, meaning that this could be him. Somehow, it started to move slowly until the head is showing, then slowly turns around, and then it spotted them. Anne gasps softly.
She can see that it started to swim closer. The Plantars feels nervous that they realize it's getting closer and then looked worried, thinking of it tries to attack them. Fairy Mothra sense that it's coming as Isabella gently held her down while flapping when chirping before she hushes her gently.
"Uh... Anne? What's happening?" Sprig asked when frighten a bit.
"I don't like this." Hop Pop added.
Anne didn't reply, but started to realize that it was him.
"It's him." said Anne quietly.
Once it keeps flickering on its back, it turns out that it really is Godzilla, but with his dorsal plates changing in shapes for over five years until he stops swimming closer and stares down at his presence.
When the search light turns off by Fern so that it won't bug him, then they were looking up at Godzilla that was staring down. Anne went softly agape at the size of that. He looks the same, but huge.
Godzilla purrs softly as the titan looked curious and wondering why they are here, but when he stares down and direct his eyes straight to the Thai girl. He slowly blinked his eyes at her. Anne realizes that Godzilla is staring at her. She looks down at the fractal that's keeps glowing and then looks back up at him.
"I remember you." said Anne softly.
Godzilla growls very softly. The way he stares down at her, but he couldn't pick up a scent while still inside the Sun-Beater and then he started to recognize her. She must be the one from San Francisco. The one that he saved her from his opponents.
Then he slowly a float away from the Sun-Beater as his radiation power keeps flickering. They were puzzled when Godzilla swims away backyards until he disappeared when the radiations stop flickering. The Plantars were shocked that he's way too close and then they sighed with relieved.
"(sigh) Oh, man." Candace sighed.
"Ok, see? See? See, it's gone-"
SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEONK!
His roar cuts off Sprig's words and then startled as they all let out a yelp as Godzilla swim past them when rotate himself as he swims forward far away from the group until he went ahead like he goes straight to the fog, but in underwater.
Their hearts beating fast as they took their breathe. Fairy Mothra is frightenedly shaking while Isabella is holding in her arms. The frogs grew their eyes wide open as their pupil shrink, especially for Sprig.
"Is everyone okay?" Phineas asked when checking on them.
"That...was...TOTALLY WICKED!" Sprig chimes.
"WICKED?! DO YOU NOT SEE HOW CLOSE THIS THING IS?!" Hop Pop yells when frighten.
"Welcome to my club!" Candace commented.
"Guys! Did you see the looks? The way he's staring at me, he barely recognizes me!" said Anne elevated.
"You look so calm, but how do you know that he's not attacking us?!" Sprig asked.
"Who cares?! He's so huge!" Polly hyped.
"Correction, Polly. His height can grow 393 feet and length 582 feet with his tail." said Ferb.
Anne and the Plantars were dumbfounded at Ferb.
"Perhaps I spoke too soon how close this thing is." Hop Pop whispers.
"Well, gang. Now that we know where he is, let's head back home before the sun goes down." Phineas suggested.
"Good idea, Phineas. Thanks for the lift by the way." said Anne.
"No problem." Then Phineas turn his head at his brother. "Ferb, take us home."
Ferb didn't replied, but navigate the pilot as the Sun-Beater turns around and towards up to the surface as they emerged from the water, then switch from submarine into a plane and blast off back to the mainland.
Back at the Boonchuy's house, it didn't very take that long when Anne and her friends made it back home. So, Ferb lands the Sun-Beater back in Danville as the group got off and went separate ways saying that they'll see each other real soon and then Anne and the Plantars walked back to the closet to her house.
Once they walk through the closet, but what they didn't know when they receive visitors. Luckily for Fairy Mothra when fly upstairs in quietly while Anne and the Plantars went to the kitchen, but Oum took noticed after washing the dishes with Dr. Jan.
"Hey, mom." Anne greeted while take the orange can from the fridge.
"Anne? You're back already?" Oum puzzled.
Yep. Thanks to Phineas and Ferb, the Sun-Beater 3000 flew ten time faster than the airplane." replied Anne.
"You should see the big ocean blue! It is so huge!" Sprig hops in.
"There's dolphins and whales!" Polly chimes.
"And we have found the King of the Monsters!" Hop Pop finish the sentence.
"Wait, did you say King of the Monsters?!" Dr. Jan blinked.
"Yeah! It was totally crazy! Anne told us that she was there in San Francisco." Sprig answered.
"Dude!" Anne shushing Sprig.
"Right. Sorry." Sprig apologizes.
Oum and Dr. Jan were blinking their eyes twice.
"Did you..."
"Yes, mom. We're fine. Godzilla recognize me when we made contact with him." Anne answered.
Oum sighed when relief.
"Okay. I just wanted to make sure that you're safe."
"Thanks mom."
"Of course, sweetie. Now that you're here, you have some visitors."
"Visitors?" Anne repeatedly.
"See for yourself, unless you want your frogs to... go somewhere else."
Anne raises her eyebrows when confused. She set the can down and walk over to the living room, but until when she gasps. It turns out that the visitors were just five boys from school, Darrel, Frank, Ivan, KJ, and Ethan are all sitting on the couch watching TV along with Eddie, Bailey, and Kettle.
"Guys?!" Anne gasp.
Then they all took noticed, but raise their eyes when surprisingly shocked.
"Anne?!" The boys exclaimed except Eddie, Bailey, and Sammie.
Anne couldn't believe that most of her friends from school are here. How is that impossible?! Did her parents call them here?! Without a warning, they all stood up and rush towards her to see if she's okay.
"Oh, my goodness!"
"I can't believe it!"
"You're back!"
"I thought we lost you!"
"We were so worried about you!"
Anne felt overwhelmed when they were crowded, but felt touched when her oldest friends were worried sick. Now she realizes that she's completely forgot about those boys when she returned to Earth. It took a few seconds when Eddie steps up to laid them off very gently.
"Guys! Guys! Give her some space! One thing at a time." Eddie reminded them.
The boys took step back to give her some space. Anne looked surprised that Eddie is here too. She remembers when she has last seen him when he stomps off when he's mad about the incident. She was afraid that he would yell at her again, but then again, he looks so calm.
"Eddie! I, uh... Look, about what happened back there..."
"Anne." said Eddie when he looks calm.
"I'm really sorry for not telling you the truth, if you just let me explain-"
He cuts off Anne's words when raising his hand to silence. She pauses for moment after he lowered his hand down and then sighed exhaled sharply.
"I know what you did when it hurt so much, but..."
Eddie paused for a moment. He formed his sad look until he holds out what's been carrying. Anne noticed that he's holding onto Marcy's journal. She literally forgot to show this to him when she takes that chance and then she looks up at him when attached.
"H-how did you...?"
"Yeah... I didn't know that you're here, but since you've left, I was looking through some memories that we've been through and then I realize that you brought back her journal that she's written."
Anne is rubbing her left arm shamefully, then she turns her head left where the Plantars are peeking from the stairs to covered their existence, and then looks back at him with apologies look along with her friends.
"Anne, Bailey told us what happened long ago. I'm so sorry." said Ivan sadly.
"We didn't know that you're here for a while, but is it true?" KJ asked.
Anne looked at him softly.
"Have you gone to Amphibia?"
Then she blinked surprised while raising her eyebrows very soft. She looked at Eddie when he really regrets for revealing the frog's existence.
"We kinda did tell them about everything." Eddie scratches his hand from the back of his head.
Anne lays her eyes at Kettle with her mask lowered with apologetic look. She noticed that the newt girl looked so calm as Bailey nodded with her small smile knowing that it's okay. Anne sighed sadly. There's no point for keeping their secret.
"You can come out now."
Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop react when surprised. Guess there's no going back and they have no choice. When the Plantars slowly comes out and then approaching to Anne. The boys were raising their eyebrows with softly surprise.
Sprig felt so nervous around their presence. Polly looked shy when she approaches. Hop Pop was very calm and looked bashfully towards them. Oum and Bee appears right behind their daughter to see if how things go smoothly. KJ blinked his eyes at the frogs.
"You're one of them?"
The Plantars nodded. Then Anne answered for them.
"Yes. These are my friends. Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop. They're the Plantars. They found me from the forest and took me in. They treated me like a family... after Sprig and Polly lost their parents." Anne explains quietly.
The boys felt remorse at them.
"I know how that feel." Darrel steps up with sad looks.
"I'm so sorry about your parents. I know what it's like to loose one another, but my mother... she was gravely ill."
Anne perks up sadly while Darrel continues.
"I was torn about the cancer. My sisters were very upset. We were so desperate to find the cure, but when my dad took us to church and pray for my mother's healing. Then suddenly... something that just delivered which it turns out... that there is a cure."
Darrel paused when he's about let out a small tear, but formed his sad smile a bit.
"The doctor state that the cure was the antidote... then they healed her. That antidote I knew is the sundrop flower. I thought it was just a myth, but... it's all real. Then it happened... my mom was healed."
Darrel shed his tears softly before he formed his sad look. Anne felt her heart drops and barely form her tears.
"I was so scared when I thought she's gonna die, but now she's cured. I don't know how long that you've been gone, but until now. I miss Sasha and Marcy more than you do. I don't want you to end up... like me."
Anne can see Darrel in pain, but she's glad that his mother was fully healed. She hates seeing Darrel depressed. Then it's Frank's turn to talk.
"Anne... I wanted to apologize for my action towards you. I really wanted to restore our friendship since that incident. When Eddie and Marcy cleared my name after the court, my grandpa died with an old age. I thought I was never gonna see him again if I was taken to juvenile detention."
Anne wipes her tears that she can see Frank's look while he talks.
"(sadly sighed) Now that you're back, but without your friends... I never realize how selfish we both are. I can't let you go down to that same path, especially for Sasha. I'll never forgive myself if anything happens to her or Marcy."
Anne remembers when she used to be friends with Frank, but then when she heard that he's been framed and almost sent to juvie until Marcy and Eddie intervene and cleared his name. Unfortunately for him, Sasha still believes that he can't be trusted and force them to end their friendships with him.
She felt remorse at him after everything he told her about his grandfather. Maybe she'll forgive him since she hasn't seen him for a while. Then Eddie steps up for last before he speaks to Anne.
"I love my sister... and I missed her very much. I've been through a lot of pain... and suffering. I want her back, Anne... my parents were full of grieve for what we have done. And... and..."
Eddie paused when he almost shed his tear. Anne couldn't stand this. Then she launches into Eddie and wrap her arms around him. He felt touched when the Thai girl gives him a warm gentle hug, then he accepted her hug before he let it out a soft tear.
"I forgive you." Anne whispered.
Sprig took off his hat with goggles when he felt sad. Hop Pop laid his hand on his grandson's shoulder. Anne's parents cling on their own hands as they felt embraced. Anne let go of his embrace and looks up at him with her small smile.
"I don't care what Bill has said, but she's still alive. I wrote a letter to your parents and I promise that I will bring her back home... To you. The three of us made a huge mistake, but it's time to put the past behind us. I can't do this on my own. Marcy needs you... I need you."
Eddie drops his emotions, then he formed his small smiles.
"I'm sorry that I yelled at you." Eddie apologize.
"I'm sorry for not telling you the truth." replied Anne.
Just then, when Ivan took noticed when Frobo was only sitting there when the robot is smiling. Ivan looked surprised.
"Hey, is that a robot?" Ivan asked.
"Oh! Frobo? Yeah, I found him from the dumpster, but his body was destroyed by Andrias." Polly answered.
"Who?"
"Oh, you know. The newt king who wanted to-"
"Polly, what did I tell you about the conversation we had?" Hop Pop scolded her.
"It's okay. Eddie told me everything." said Ivan.
Hop Pop dropped his stern looks.
"Oh, well... that make sense."
"Hey, aren't you that old man from the commercial?" Ethan asked.
"Why, yes. I used to be before I lend my acting to Humphrey."
"Wow, that's very sweet of you, and that reminds me. I heard rumors when Humphrey will be joining the new sci-fi movie that's been coming up next year."
"SAY WHAAAAAAAT?!"
Everyone started to laugh. Anne loves hearing some laughs when everything went back to normal. Frank knelt down on his left knee to talk to Polly.
"So, Polly. Right?" said Frank.
"Yep, that's me." replied Polly.
"Heh, I was told that you're into some violence."
"Well, I was all matured. Besides, it's what I do to pick a fight on anyone. Especially for the toads."
"Really? Well, in any case. I trained myself for combat. You don't have one of those, do you?"
"Oh, I'll tell you everything about swords and knifes."
"Cool!"
KJ and Darrel approach to Sprig after he put his hat back on.
"So, you're Anne's best friend?" KJ asked.
"Sure do! We've been best friends for a really long time." Sprig answered.
"That's very nice of you. So, uh... what's it like to be friends with?" Darrel asked.
"It's easy. We go on our adventure, made some friends and foes, facing against dangerous creatures, and we sure have some fun! Oh, and there's magic when one of my friends, Maddie who's doing some curse, but in a good way." Sprig explains.
"Really? Think you can touch us?" Darrel eagerly asked.
"I'm not so sure, but maybe Maddie can or I'm sure there could be wizards somewhere in Wartwood."
"Hey, do you play videogames?" KJ asked.
"Do I?" Sprig smug when took out two controllers from the game switch, making KJ smiling.
Anne and Eddie were smiling that their friends are having their own chat with the Plantars. Bailey approach next between them.
"Eddie. Anne. I am so proud of you that you worked out." said Bailey.
"Thanks, Bails." replied Eddie.
"Thank you, Bailey." Anne added.
"Of course. We're always be together, right?" said Bailey.
"Right."
Anne is doing her bro handshake with Kettle until Sammie approach when look feeling happy again.
"Now where all back together, I only have one questions." said Kettle.
Anne tilted her head curious.
"How many boyfriends do you have?"
"Aw, come on! Seriously?! You know I can't pick three at once!" Anne looks back to KJ, Darrel, and Frank. "No offense."
"None taken." replied Frank.
"So, does this mean you're not gonna give them a kiss?" Sprig puzzled.
"DUDE!" Anne went blush madly.
Then everyone in this room let out a heartwarming laugh. Everything went back to normal without an argument or lashing. Dr. Jan was standing there the whole as the curator smiles at her friends. She knew that everything turned out just fine.
"I love it when they laugh."
Later that evening, all of her friends went home after they kept their secrets about Amphibia. The whole family went to bed to get some peaceful sleep. They may have some rough afternoon, but they have already forgiven each other.
Hop Pop is sleeping on the bean bag chair with blanket that he's borrowing. Polly is sleeping with Domino on the cat bed. Anne and Sprig are sleeping on the bed as the frog boy is clutching his frog plushie.
Anne sleeps peacefully, hugging her Mickey's plushie in her bed, but suddenly nobody noticed when a glowing green butterfly flew in through the window until it reverts into Marcy with sparkles all around her.
As the spirit girl turns around and stares down at Anne that's been sleeping. She smiles softly at her. She loves seeing Anne sleeps peacefully. Marcy remembers when she used to have a slumber party with her friends, but when her friends fell asleep during the movie, she always left out.
Just then, when Fairy Mothra noticed her presence and flew towards where the bed is. She let out a chirping saying that Anne has already forgive Eddie. An Asian girl forms her small smile, but then she drops her smile before she started to speak softly.
"Thanks, Fairy. I appreciate that you look out for her."
Marcy sighed sadly while staring at Anne's snoring softly through her mouth. Marcy couldn't bear enough to see her friends and her family suffering from all the damage that she couldn't do. She was attempted to lay her hand on her, but she was hesitated at first.
Marcy couldn't help, but realize if Anne forgives her like her brother, then why bother? Why can't she make amends in the first place before all this has happened? She wanted to apologize to Anne for tricking her or forcing her to do her own interest. She couldn't let go of everything for what she truly wants.
"(sigh) Anne, I know that you can't hear me or see me, but... I wanted to apologize for bringing you and Sasha to Amphibia. I know what I did was wrong, but... I was afraid if I'm moving away with my family, then we'll stop being friends and... (sniff) I'm really sorry for everything. I hope you forgive me."
Marcy leans closer to Anne until she went to kiss softly on her forehead. It's not just a kiss, but with true love between friendship. Anne didn't flinch, but formed her small smile while sleeping. Marcy could see that her childhood friend is happy.
Then she looked at Fairy Mothra that's keep flapping her wings until she let out a chirp saying that it's time to go. She nodded when she closes her eyes before she transforms back into a green butterfly before she flew away along with Fairy Mothra through the window and went separate ways, leaving the Boonchuys residence alone peacefully.
If anyone ask about the kiss part, it's not pairings, but friendship. And also for Phineas and Ferb's encountering with the Titans, I've been thinking of making a new fanfic as a prequel in the future. In the mean time, thanks for reading and stay tuned for the next chapter!
