Chapter 42: Spider-Frog Returns – Part One
"Alright, let's try this again one last time."
As of que, it shows a young adult putting on his suit with red and blue, black webs, and two white eyes to cover his face before he jumps off the building, before he shoots webs and swing it through New York City.
"My name is Peter Parker. You probably know me as the Ultimate Spider-Man, or just Spider-Man. Just swinging by for the usual. Saving the city, fighting crimes, stop trains from crashing, sending off in important mission to-"
"Excuse me?"
His words cut off when he's hanging upside down to see who's talking, but he looked surprised that a celebrity was standing next to him by the crossing sign.
"Tom Holland?!"
"Hi, um... are you narrating?" Tom Holland asked.
"What? Why would I?"
"Every time you narrating something, it's like you are talking to yourself."
"I wasn't talking to myself."
"Yes, you are. You can't just say it loud when you're in public. Not after the last time when your identity was almost revealed. From my movie, I wasn't even narrating myself because it's different. So, no narrating. Alright?"
"(sigh) Fine."
Spider-Man shoot his web as he swings off leaving Tom Holland behind by the crossing sign before he continues talking.
"It happens back in the day after I graduated, my secret identity was almost revealed to the public-"
"NO NARRATING!" Tom Holland yells.
Later on, Spider-Man made it to Triskelion, a location for S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy where the younger generation of heroes learn. Every year when every young man and woman were recruit to become the next Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes. There are some agents and crew members that were working with them.
Once he made it to the command center, it shows four of his friends that also wears the suit like Spider-Man, but different color patterns. Back in the old days, he formed into a new team known as the Web Warriors.
Miles Morales, also known as Spin Spider-Man or Kid-Arachnid. He's black-Hispanic descent and wears his red and black suit like the original Spider-Man. It may look like he's from another dimension, but in this universe is the same Miles Morales that he was recruited long ago.
Gwen Stacy, also known as Ghost-Spider or Spider-Gwen. She wears a black bodysuit with white areas that form a spider design, a white hood with the interior lining being magenta with cyan web patterns, matching magenta-and-cyan designs on her upper arms, and cyan soles to her boots. Like Miles, she was also recruited to be part of the team
Mary Jane Watson, also known as Spider-Woman and Peter's girlfriend. Long ago before she joins the team, she's bonded with a symbiote since the invasion and then later become a new superheroine and that's how she ends up joining the team. She's wearing red and black suit and her goggles are red. They looked at Spider-Man when he approaches to them.
"Hey, guys!" Peter greeted.
"Hey, Spidey!" Mary Jane greeted back.
"What's up, Pete?" said Miles giving him a fist bump.
"How's it going?" Gwen asked.
"Got here as fast as I could. So, is it just the four of us now?" replied Peter.
"Hope so. Flash, Amadeus, and Ben are pretty busy to train some new recruits." Miles answered.
"So, why are we here again?"
Then suddenly, Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D. came in, escorted by Phil Coulson as they approach to the Web Warriors.
"You have a new mission. There's been some many recent incidents for over two months." Nick Fury explains.
"What kind of mission?" Peter asked.
"Last night, the imposter known as the Chameleon went on a heist from Stark Expo to put you up for a frame. Thanks to your heroic deeds, we've managed to apprehended and we notify the police that everything's been taking care of, but he managed to deliver to the Arc Reactor that was once stolen before we arrived."
"We interrogated the Chameleon, but he hasn't spoken and remains silence. Whoever this villain is will stop at nothing to get his hands on the Arc Reactor. It has enough power when constructing the new campus that will be open this year, but unfortunately the opening date has been pushed back for unknown reason." Phil Coulson added.
While they explain, Nick is showing the computer screens to the Web Warriors where it shows a criminal record for the Chameleon. They've already aware about the heist that Spider-Man took care of.
"You know, I'm getting used to have some fans to do cosplays, but putting up a heist is extremely bad move." Peter lamented when crossing his arms.
"At least we don't have to worry about the press, but why would he try to framed you like all other villains?" Mary Jane asked.
"If my theory corrects, I think it has something to do with Doc Ock." Gwen guess.
"That might be true, but there's no sign of him by the time we reach to his lair when he moves out. He can't outrun us forever." replied Nick Fury.
"So, if he wants the Arc Reactor, maybe he's onto something. Like build something big." Miles guessed correctly.
"Yes, which is why we're sending the four of you to keep an eye out for Doc Ock while you're heading to Los Angeles. Be on the lookout for a anomaly activity." said Nick Fury.
"There's been an incident on Christmas Eve Parade when someone hacked into a giant Santa Claus robot that tried to attack the family, but it was foiled by many cartoon characters." Phil explained.
"Santa Claus? Was someone trying to hack into the giant robot? Not cool." said Miles.
"Why would anyone tried to attack people?" Mary Jane asked.
"That's a good question. Whoever did this, it could be either M.O.D.O.K. or Doc Ock." Peter theorizes it.
"Then that's where you're headed. You have less than three hours to get there and remember, we can't let Doc Ock win." said Nick Fury.
"Understood." Peter looked at his teammates. "Alright, team. Let's move out."
Spider-Man and his friends sped off on their next mission. Once they left the command center, Phil looked concerned about the situations.
"You didn't tell them about the Symbiote?" Phil Coulson asked.
"Even if they did run into him, they'll know what to do." said Nick Fury, but he noticed that Coulson was wearing a pin on left side of the coat collar. "Is that Captain America pin?"
"Oh, I bought it from California Adventure while checking the progress for the construction." Phil Coulson answered.
"If the opening date was pushed back again, their fans are not gonna like it."
Meanwhile in Los Angeles Convention Center, the whole crowds are attending to science fair. Then we see Anne and the Plantars with their disguise along with her parents. Sprig and Polly was all amazed that they have great inventions. Hop Pop was impressed for people's skills.
That's right, Anne and the Plantars went to the science fair to see if they have the right part for the new portal that could open to another world so that she and her friends can made it back to Amphibia to stop the invasion.
"Whoa! Look at all of these people!" Sprig amazed through his face mask.
"Yep. That's what science fair is all about." replied Anne.
"Aw, man! I wish Frobo was here to see this." Polly was eager to try it out.
"Now, Polly. We're only here to look for some spare parts for Terri. It might take a while to rebuild the portal." said Hop Pop.
"Don't worry, guys. I'm sure Phineas and Ferb can help us rebuild the portal with Terri and when it's finished, we'll be able to step through the portal in no time." said Anne.
"Now we're talking! Let's do it!" Polly fists her flippers.
"Whoa! Slow down, Polly. We gotta stick together. We don't want any of us to get-" Her words were cut off when she sees Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop wandering off on their own much to her dismay. "And they're gone."
"Cheer up, Anne. No one will know about the frog's existence." said Bee.
"Why don't you look around and find something that you might like." Oum suggested.
"Sure thing, mom." Anne sighed went she went off to get gathered her friends.
As the parents are watching their daughter wandering off, they looked at each other for the game plan.
"So, what do you have in mind?" Oum asked.
"I don't know. Maybe we should look around." replied Bee.
"You just read my mind."
After Oum and Bee walked off somewhere else, but nobody took noticed when there's this man that has brown hair with his beard shaved, wearing his black jacket under his grey shirt, blue navy jeans, and sneakers.
He came here to investigate about making a story since he has different job. The last time he got fired from Daily Network for lack of trust issues and also has grudge against multiple spider people. Just then when he hears a deep voice from his head.
"Are we there yet?"
"Yes, we're here." He narrowed his eyes.
"Then why visiting the science fair? It looks boring."
"Well, I'm picking up the story like what happened on Christmas Palooza."
"I am happy to bite this hacker's head off! Portraying as jolly old man, hurting kids!"
"Maybe, but not right now."
"I cannot?"
"No, we haven't figured it out. So, just follow my lead."
"Whatever you say."
Without a warning, he bumps into two gentlemen by accident that wasn't paying attention.
"Sorry." He apologized and then moves on.
However, those two gentlemen he bumps was Jafar and Hades, but wearing their modern clothes like everyone else. Jafar wearing his black vest over his red rolled-up sleeve's shirt, black dress pants, and black shoes. He has his black hair to covered up the bald spot (no offense).
Next to Hades, he's wearing his grey vest with a skull pin over his dark grey rolled up sleeves with black tie around his neck, very dark bule pants with his black belt, and dress shoes. He also has his watch on his right wrist. His hair may look like he's on fire, but his hair was all blue in disguise.
"Geez, who is this guy?" Hades asked.
"No matter. As soon as we find what we're looking for, the sooner we get what we need." said Jafar.
"Heh, sounds like we're in a hurry." Hades chuckled.
"There are still plenty of time to find another element. It has the power source to activate the portal to another world." replied Jafar.
"You can say that again."
Nobody noticed that they passed by where Anne and Sprig were staring at the volcano project as the baking soda erupt to look like a lava. Sprig was all impressed that he's seeing like the first time.
"Oooh." Sprig awes.
"Impressive, huh? This is what science is all about." said Anne crossing her arms smiling.
"Are there any volcanoes here?" Sprig asked.
"No, not really, but there are some volcanoes in different places like Hawaii, Montana, even in Mexico where Rodan is nesting."
"Rodan? You mean a giant flying dinosaur?"
"I would say fire demon, but... yeah." Anne shrugged.
Then suddenly, Sprig spotted something or someone when his eyes grew wide with sudden surprised.
"Molly Jo?!"
"Huh?" Anne turns around and saw her too.
What's shocking them both when Molly Jo is at the science fair, but not only that for what Anne saw is that two robot arms that she's familiar with was from the Cloak-Bot. The only question is how did the girl collects the scraps of the robot.
"You've got to be kidding me." Anne shocked, but with her voice lowered.
"Wait, you know her?" Sprig asked.
"Well, apparently I barely know her and second... where did she get some scraps from the robot?!" Anne whispers when exclaimed.
"You mean the ones that tried to kill us?!"
"Exactly! Let's go talk to her ask her how she got this." Anne walks towards where Molly Jo is, but Sprig tries to intervene.
"Anne! Wait!"
But it was too late when the Thai girl approaches.
"Excuse me?" Anne asked politely.
"Hmm?" Molly Jo turns around, but looked quite surprised. "Anne?"
"Wait, you know who I am?" Anne puzzled.
"Yeah! You're that girl from the Christmas Palooza!" said Molly Jo when smiling.
"Oh! I forgot about that." Anne is rubbing her head with a little embarrassment.
"Wow! You and your family were so lucky that Mickey and his friends were there to beat up a giant robot Santa Claus. Do you know that it was hacked by someone else?"
"Nope. Not a clue." Anne answered, but keeping this secret.
Then she noticed that Sprig was hiding behind Anne when felt nervous to come out.
"Who's that?" Molly Jo asked.
"Oh, this is Sprig. My little... brother." Anne introduced while covered his identity.
"Uh... hi." Sprig nervously waves.
She tilted her head that she started to think something about the frog in disguise.
"Do I know you from somewhere?"
"Who? Me? I... uh... don't know what you're talking about." Sprig started to get sweat.
"Ooookay? I've been meaning to ask you. Where'd you get those robots arms?" Anne asked suspiciously.
"Oh, this?" Molly shows robot arms to Anne. "I found this one from the junkyard where my grandfather used to work, but until I realized that he has another one that tried to fight Frog-Man."
"Frog-Man?" Anne raised her eyebrows.
Sprig gulped when his eyes are twitching.
"Yeah, I don't know why my grandpa tried to hurt people and I was there when Frog-Man saves me, but I got pretty mad that they damaged the whole town and they've already apologized for what they did. I forgive them." Molly Jo explains her story.
He remembers where he used to be a superhero, but until he got into a fight with her grandfather that tries to kill him while causing damaged the whole city. He felt pretty ashamed for nearly hurting his new friend.
"Really? Then how did you manage to get these?" Anne asked while trying to look calm.
"He got arrested after that, then I decided if I could borrow this so that I can win for science fair. Wanna see?" said Molly.
"Hmm... alright, but as long as there isn't any "mind control" thing." said Anne when she felt unease.
"Who said anything about mind control? How bad can it be?"
Anne knew that something might've bad happen to her. Molly Jo hooked her gear when putting on something like her backpack and then she transforming it into two functional shorter robot arms that moves along her body commanded by her techno glasses.
"Oooh." Anne and Sprig went awed.
When she takes controls of the arms, she waved her right hand as the right arm robot responds, then Sprig waves back.
"Pretty cool, huh? It took me a while to get this done, but with Jake helps." said Molly Jo.
"Who's Jake?" Sprig asked.
"You mean, Jake Zoobrad? Ivan's best friend?" Anne raised her left eyebrow.
"Oh, you know him. That's pretty cool. I showed him how I found these and speaking of which, he told me that his friend und the blue orb and gave it to him after I asked his permission." She pointed the blue orb in the center like Arc Reactor.
Anne started to suspect if anything goes wrong, but she looks carefully that the orb is still glowing like running a battery.
"So, you're going to win just for that?" Sprig asked.
"That's right. If I win, I'm going to change the world where people can use this to have extra arms." Molly Jo wriggled her fingers as her robot claws wriggles.
"How about that? Say uh, could you excuse us just a few minutes? I would like to speak to my "sister" alone." Sprig grabs his best friend's arms and pulls Anne away where they can chat privately.
Molly Jo looks puzzled at them that they just ran off. Once they went to the hiding spot, they started to look concern about the robot arms.
"Anne, did you see that she wriggles her claws?!" Sprig asked when concerned.
"Yeah, it's crazy! But I only have one question." said Anne.
"Okay, shoot."
"How long have you known about her?" Anne asked skeptically.
"Oh, yeah. Um... do you remember when I was a superhero?" Sprig asked nervously.
"Yeah?"
"Well, I met her once after I saved her from stopping the bus."
"Uh-huh. Did she know that you're a frog?"
"No! Of course, not! I would never reveal my secret identity!" Sprig denies it.
"Okay, just making sure that you're okay. And next time, try not to do that again when you're in public. What if you get caught by the governments?"
"I know, I know. I'm sorry that I'm trying to be a hero." Sprig apologize softly.
"But you are my hero. Just like me when I was your hero." Anne comforts her friend.
Sprig felt touched that Anne says something nicely. He smiles back at her warmly.
"Thanks, Anne." said Sprig.
"No problem, buddy." replied Anne. "Now, let's go find Polly and Hop Pop, and then we'll find something like power supply."
"Uh, Anne? The blue orb is the power source that we need."
Anne drops her smile when she took it all back.
"Aw, phooey."
Later on, three judges have arrived. Two men and a woman are here to judge for those who have won the science fair. One by one, they put up a vote to see any inventors wins and luckily, they approach to Molly Jo wearing her gears that carries two arms.
"Excuse me, young lady. Care to explain what you are making?" asked The lady judge.
"Yes, ma'am. Do you ever need extra hands?" Molly Jo lowers her red goggles to control the arms. "Well, now you do! Presenting extra arms that will help you carrying around like groceries or going to work. It can stretch arms when it goes length."
Then she use her robot arms to stretch out slowly as the crowd got their attention and went awed at the robot arms. Even the judges were impressed. Anne and Sprig returns just in time to see that everyone was all amazed.
"Fascinated! How does this work?" One of the judges asked.
"This one, I used the blue orb that almost looks like the Arc Reactor, but my friend, Jake helped me to get this hooked up." Molly Jo explains.
When the judges written down their notes on their clipboard, then they decided that they approved.
"Well, on a scale from one to ten, I say we have a winner!" One of the judges claims it.
"Agreed." The lady judge agrees. "First prize!"
Everyone went cheering that Molly Jo has won. She looked so happy that everyone loves it. Anne and Sprig went dumbstruck that the judges just approved. While the two of our heroes didn't took noticed, Jafar and Hades heard the commotions and stares at the crowd.
"Congratulations to Molly Jo! She has earned her first prize!" One of the judges held out a blue ribbon with "1st Place" on it.
"Well, I'll be darned. She won." Anne went awestruck.
"At least nothing ever bad happens to her." said Sprig hopefully.
When the judge gives the first prize to Molly Jo, she puts it on from her vest and smiles proudly as the crowd went cheers. But then it happened. What she didn't know that something was about to go wrong.
Just then the old software has awoken from the blue orb and then went connecting it to the techno goggles that she was wearing it, sending a hypnotic wave. As Molly Jo continues to wave at the crowd, but then she drops her smiles when noticed that something.
"Huh?" Molly Jo puzzled.
Before she went to check on something, but then her brain started to get hypnotize that she didn't react this way. The judges noticed that she went froze.
"Uh, you okay kid?" Ask One of the judges.
From her techno goggle's view, it started to reprogrammed and picked up a view scan around the audience until it reached to scan Anne and Sprig that were standing, but when it picked up Anne, it started to read in amphibians language while it started glitch.
"-Eliminate Ann- frog... frogman... Eli-... Eliminate Frogman."
When Molly Jo spread her grins, but went controlled by the old software until she started to disappear by clicking on the cloaking device, making the whole crowd went shock and awed. Anne and Sprig went shocked too.
"Huh?!" Sprig blinked.
"What the...?!" Anne shocked.
Jafar and Hades raised their eyebrows, puzzled. The people must've thought that Molly Jo must've used the cloaking device, but to Anne and Sprig, something is not right.
"Dude, what just happened?" Anne asked when cautious.
"I don't know?" Sprig looked concerned.
Before she can reply, but suddenly they felt their bodies were being pulled back, away from the crowd until they were being pulled into backstage where no one can see them. They tried to break free, but they couldn't. They felt too tight around them.
"Hey! Let go!" Anne demanded it.
"Let us go you... whoever you are!" Sprig yells.
He spoked too soon when the cloak reveals to Molly Jo, but it turns out that she's not the child that they once knew. Anne and Sprig switched into their reaction as they shockingly horrified.
"Molly Jo?!" Anne exclaimed.
"What are you doing?!" Sprig felt shocked.
Her only answers is when she chuckles darkly, her mouth is spreading grin very wide like a sinister grin. However, they started to realize that it wasn't her that's been doing this. It has a mind of its own.
"Hello, Anne Boonchuy."
Anne and Sprig couldn't believe what they just heard. That voice. It's all familiar when they heard a robotic voice, but mix with Molly Jo and the robot's voice. They looked fear as they're staring at her, but couldn't see her eyes because of the techno goggles.
"M-molly Jo?" Anne stammered.
"Correction, I am the one you want where my mission has failed to eliminate you."
"I-I don't know what you're talking about."
"Don't deny it, Anne. You and your friend tears me apart and kick me up high in the sky before I destroyed. Remember?"
It really hit her. She finally realized that it's all coming back to her. It may sound like a killer robot, but taking over the girl's mind to make her sound like an eleven-year-old girl.
"You?!"
"In the flesh. Thanks to you, I transferer my software for backup drive into the orb and I waited out to have my revenge until your little friend shows up. Now that I got the body, I will finish the mission!"
"Bu-but that was impossible! You were exploded!" Sprig disbelief it.
"My old body was destroyed, but not from my software. You're going to tell me where your little frog friend is."
"What are you talking about! I'm right here!"
"Yes and no. I'm going to say this once." The Cloak-Bot's controlling Molly-Jo's mind when bringing Sprig closer to her. "Where's Frog-Man?"
Sprig shrink his eyes pupil with disbelief. Anne knew that the Frog-Man she's looking for or IT was looking for that hasn't heard or seen about this amphibian superhero.
"I... uh... don't know what you're talking about. Who's Frog-Man? I don't know? Maybe this guy dressed up as a frog." Sprig covers up his identity.
"Oh, don't play games with me. According to your little friend's memory, I've picked up a scan where she has witness between Frog-Man and her father. Now that I got my arms back, I can easily destroy you. But first, you tell me where your friend is and I'll let you go."
"The heck, you aren't! You tried to kill my friends and my family, just to kill me! Face it! We destroyed you once and we can do it again!" said Anne when stand enough against the robot.
"Oh, that's where you're wrong."
She releases them both to the ground with a thud. Then she uses her robot claws to sharpen and attempts to finish her off as the Thai girl horrified gasp, but then Sprig whips out his slingshot and fires a cup that he picks it up and made the water spills on her.
"GAH!"
Now's their chance to escape as the kids flees and went out from the backstage. Once she recovers that her hair is still wet, she looks through her techno goggles to pick up the heat vision before she glares. Anne and Sprig were trying to avoid the crowds as they're trying to get through to get the rest of her family out of here.
Meanwhile, Polly and Hop were wondering around for a while ago after splitting up and still no sigh of something what they're looking for. The pollywog in disguise is tireless meaning that she can't rest until the power source has been found.
"See anything?" Polly asked.
"(sigh) Still no sign of that thingamajigger. Couldn't tell what we need is-"
"Polly! Hop Pop!"
They turned their back and saw Anne and Sprig running towards, but went obvious at the kids.
"Oh, there you are. Did you find what you need?" Hop Pop asked.
"Yes and no, but we don't have much time. We need to find my parents and get out of here before it tried to kill us!" replied Anne.
"Wait, what do you mean IT?" replied Polly obviously, but picked up by Sprig when shaking her in panic.
"It was that killer robot that tried to kill us and taken over Molly Jo's body!" Sprig frantic.
"Wait, killer robot?!"
Before Anne replies, but a huge bang that got them attention, but they couldn't see where the big loud is coming from until it reveals two red eyes from the techno goggles from invisibility. The Plantars went panicked.
"AAH! KILLER ROBOT!" Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop yells with unison.
Anne picks up the Plantars in her arms and sped off to get away from the mind controlling girl that went invisible as the hunt was on like the last time. As the Thai girl keep running, but nearly bumps into two gentlemen that she didn't notice.
"Oof! Sorry, mister!" said Anne.
But what she didn't recognize that it was Jafar and Hades that were puzzled until something that just whoosh when jumping over and resume it pursue. Jafar looks closely when the invisible anomaly just shoved the bystander man who spills his drink and shoved aside the trash can.
"It appears we have company." said Jafar when brushing his twisted beard.
Finally, when they reach up to her parents, they were standing by where the exit is until they noticed that their daughter has arrived, carrying the Plantars in her arms.
"Mom! Dad!" Anne panted.
"Hey, kiddo." Bee greeted. "Everything okay?"
"No, not okay. We have to go." replied Anne when setting the Plantars down.
"But we just got here?" Oum puzzled.
"There's no time! Come on!" Anne pulls her mother out while Sprig and Hop Pop push her father out.
"Move it or lose it!" said Polly.
By the time they walk through the the main entrance, but all of sudden. The crash went through the front glass door as they turned their heads back where it was, but still invisible. However, Anne realizes that it's coming near them when panicked.
"Hurry!"
As the Boonchuys and Plantars sped off without getting caught, it reveals that the invisible wears off, showing that Molly Jo was still in control by the old software grinning her teeth. There's no way that its giving up so easily.
Once they have arrived at their car, they all got int, and put on their seat belt. Bee turn his key to turn on the car until he pulls out and drives away from the parking lot. It was a close call that it didn't catch up to them or so they have thought.
"Whew!" They were all sighed with relieved.
"Okay, can anyone tell me what's going on here?" Bee asked when concerned.
"If I tell you now, you are not going to believe what we just saw." said Sprig as he began to explain.
After the car left, Molly Jo is staring at them as they drove away safely. She picked up a scan through the heat wave where the tracks are, but her mind was still in control as the software possessed the girl.
"You can run, but you can't hide, Boonchuy."
Then she disappears with cloaking device before jumps off onto each car, but causing all vehicles to triggers the alarm. One by one. All that's left was Jafar and Hades when they went to check out and see what this is all about as they're staring at the crash.
"Well, this is awkward." Hades muttered.
"Seems that we are not alone." replied Jafar.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Hades asked before he heard a reply.
"It means that the girl has been possessed."
They turned their heads at Maleficent, but wearing her business attire dress with her umbrella she's holding. Black coat over purple sleeves shirt with yellow belt, black pants, and purple dress shoes. Her raven hair was shown that's tied up with a purple bun.
"Let me guess, you're here too?" Hades asked when crossing his arms.
"Just to give you an update that the power source is not here. We will search for the next location as we speak." replied Maleficent.
"And what about this girl who's been possessed?" Jafar asked. "It's not like it has a mind of its own."
"Oh, but there is. How else do you think the technology has gone rogue? Something that's been hunting Anne since we have witness. Something is spreading chaos."
"So, the king sent another one. Hasn't he?" Hades asked skeptically.
Maleficent can only reply when showing her small smirked that she knows what they're up against.
Meanwhile in downtown L.A. when they pulled up to the red light. Anne and Sprig has already explained everything to her parents much to their shock. They thought that it was destroyed, but the software didn't when escape.
"Okay, let me get this straight. You two were almost strangled by the robot that possessed an eleven-year-old girl?" Bee rephrased that question when looked back at the Plantars.
"Yes, but it's not Anne that it was after. It went after Frog-Man." Sprig replies.
"Who's Frog-Man?" Oum curious.
"Actually, Frog-Man she was looking for..." Sprig lowered his head down and frowns in shame. "Was me."
"Wait, you're Frog-Man? As in THE Frog-Man who saved the city?" Bee raised his eyebrows when surprised.
"Yes."
"You mean the one that Anne told us everything?" Oum asked.
"Yes." replied Sprig when raising his high-pitched voice a bit, waiting to be scolded.
"Boy, why didn't you tell us that thing was chasing after you, but not Anne?" Hop Pop asked with his parental tone.
"I don't know, but maybe because Molly Jo knows more about Frog-Man, but not my identity. She could've got hurt because me." Sprig response when he frowns.
"Dude, it wasn't your fault. None of us knew that the robot has returned. It's not like a humanoid robot that just gone rogue." said Anne.
"Then how are we gonna stop this?"
"Hello! Anne uses her power to kick the robot up high before it explodes." Polly retorted.
"Well, we need to think of something fast. Any suggestions?" Hop Pop asked.
None of them answered, but luckily when Sprig noticed that there's a comic book store where it has not just some comic books, but some merchandise of Frog-Man that he used to be popular by the public. He lowered his mask and then spread his mouth smiling.
"I think I have an idea."
Later on, everything went well smoothly until chaos happened. One of the cars felt a huge bump when triggers the signal, the city wall had a huge scratch to make it squeal until it stops, and then shoved the mailbox out of the way until it reveals herself.
"Where are you, Frog-Man. I just wanted to play with you."
The mind-controlled girl is toying when asking to come out and faced her. Then suddenly, Sprig jumps in from far behind.
"Hey you!" Sprig hollers.
Molly Jo turns her attention at him with robot claws sharpening, but what didn't expect to see Frog-Man. Good thing that the Cloak-Bot in a software was so clueless that Sprig is Frog-Man. He must've bought his new costume since he left his handmade at home.
"Let her go!"
Then she spread her sinister grin.
"Hey, Frog-Man. Remember me?"
"Of course, I remember you, Molly Jo. If you can hear me, the goggles you are wearing is messing with your mind. You've got to fight it." said Sprig as Frog-Man.
"She's not here. It's you what I want."
"Well, what do you want? Finish me off like her grandfather started?"
When Sprig prepares for battle, it controls Molly Jo to clenched her fist. From a view, Anne and her family were watching from their vehicle knowing that this is not gonna end well. And so were the citizens that bares witnesses.
"Sounds good to me."
Then she stretches her left robot arms to attack him, but jumps out of the way as he dodges before it lands. Sprig is running straight towards to free his human friend that he met, but she stretches' her right robot arm to attack him, but dodged again.
As he hops up high to go for the head, but she swung her robot arms to swipe him off to the left and shatters the glass to the clothing department. She stretched her arms to grab him and pulls him out to throws him up high, but he spits his tongue out towards the street light and landed safely.
"What's the matter? Frog got your tongue?"
It made her taunting to him before transforming her left robot arm to fire lasers at Sprig, but jumps out of the until it blasts at the building, leaving its mark. Then he lands on top of the taxi.
"Stop! This isn't you!" Sprig cried.
But didn't listen when left arm stretches and shatters the front car window. Then she leaps up thanks to her robot arms that has ability to jump high and tried to attack him, but he hops off in time before she lands on top as the chase pursued.
Anne, Polly, Hop Pop, and her parents couldn't bear to watch this battle if the city was torn apart. They were afraid if anything happens to him or this poor girl. Not if Anne can do anything about it.
"Quick! We have to follow them!" said Anne.
Bee nodded as the father step his foot on the pedal and drove off to follow them.
Meanwhile, a journalist known as Eddie Brock has left the science fair after he heard a rumor that there were witness that the main entrance was left damaged and then he came to downtown to get some coffee, following an interview as he wrote down his note.
"Okay. Okay, so this whole place has many recent incidents when the parade was under attack by a giant robot, but then Christmas was saved by tons of..." He stops for a midsentence to rephrase that until he got it straight. "Cartoon characters."
He was telling questions to a young man that's been taking part time working at the caffeine shop.
"And he has been saying it for hours."
"You know what? I'm sorry. I'm an idiot. Tell me again. There was a killer robot that's been chasing cars until it blows up in the sky, right?"
"Right." The employee answered.
"And then this old man that has one robot arm?"
"Otto." The employee answered again.
"Otto."
"Yeah, and you thought that the school bus driver was sick in Springfield."
"So, now... maybe I'll head over there and speak to this um... Frog-Man."
The employee nodded like a good answer.
"Eddie!" Then his body just jolted up to stand up like he was in control. "He's not here! Let's go watch the movie!"
"I don't think we should watch the movie."
"Sir, you have to pay the bill." said The employee.
Then suddenly, they heard a crash. Brock paid the tip to the employee and walks out until that he went shocked that Sprig as Frog-Man being pursued by Molly Jo that's been mind-controlled, but he's clueless that he didn't realize that it's all misunderstood.
"Don't go! We were just getting started!"
She cackles as the mind-controlled girl leaps up with her robot claws to crash down where Sprig dodge and spit his tongue out to keep her away from the city. Then the family vehicles sped by that he wasn't paying attention. Now that they're left, he was dumbstruck.
"What the heck was that?!"
"I have no idea."
Then suddenly, the TV from the electronic department was still in active when it shows J. Jonah Jameson was on the news having a breaking news and telling stories to the public when it got him attention.
"Incredibly, this shocking revelation when it comes to my attention when downtown L.A. was under attack when this Frog-Boy was being pursued by the granddaughter of Robert Otto."
Then suddenly, a black Symbiote shifts into existence over Brock. He has white eyes with no pupils, sharp yellow teeth, and a long tongue. A huge white spider is printed across his chest. Except for the teeth, tongue, and black and white color-scheme that looked resemble to Spider-Man.
He walks closer to the TV while some bystanders were in shock and awe that this alien was in public, but he paid no attention towards the citizens. He stalks towards the television, which has shifted to the picture of Robert Otto on criminal mugshot holding numbers.
"AKA, One armed robot man, AKA, Doc Ock's knock off. Rest assured you dear viewers, we here at The Daily Bugle will not rest until we uncover the truth of-"
"That... guy..."
A Symbiote just licks the window with relish and then growls as he started to think that this man has started all of this.
Now, we switched back at Sprig that he made it to the alley where he can hide and catch his breath. He panted and looked a little frighten that his new friend was taken control by the software.
He looked out to take a peek to see if she's still after, but there's no sign of her. He sighed with relief, but then he felt that he's been picked up and pulls up high until it unveils from the cloaking device as the robot arm wrangles him up.
"(cackled) Found you! Now, let's settle this."
"Wait! You don't have to do this! You're my friend!" Sprig cried, but went strangled
"We're not friends! And we never were! I asked that you were gonna take off that mask, but you refused. Too bad, so sad."
"Molly Jo...don't-ACK!"
As the mind-controlled girl cackles when strangling the frog boy, but she wasn't paying attention when the car parked. They all got out from the car, but what has shocked that Anne and her family were horrified that she's strangling him.
"NO!" Anne screams.
Sprig couldn't hear her screams because he was suffocated. Just as she jumps down to the ground, she cackles. The more strangles will lead him to his fate.
"Goodbye, Frog-Man."
But suddenly, a web just went straight towards her goggles when react.
"GAH!"
"Huh?!" Anne blinked her eye.
Before they react fast, then web just shot straight at the blue orb, then yanks it off from its chest as they all turns their heads back and what's shocking them even more that it was Spider-Man! The wall crawling superhero just came out of nowhere on top of their vehicle.
"You know, strangling the kid is a really bad move." said Spider-Man.
"Spider-Man?!" Anne gasps.
So he twirls around the orb with webs covering until he smash it down into pieces like a shattered glass causing the old software for shutdown.
"NOOOOOOOoooooooooo..."
While it last, Cloak-Bot from the software is gone for good. It loses control of Molly Jo as her robot claws releases Sprig and then fainted, but Spider-Man jumps in on time to caught her from falling in his arms. Sprig releases his gasp and taking his breath back after cough. The whole family were relieved that he's okay.
"Sprig!" Anne rushed to her best friend to see if he's okay. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm okay." replied Sprig, he noticed that something was up. "What just happened?"
Polly pointed her flippers when they heard a soft groan. He looks back where Spider-Man gently laid the girl down, but Sprig didn't notice because he only stares at her for what worries her.
"Molly Jo!" Sprig rush towards where she lays still, then removes her tech goggles, and he tries to wake her up, very gentle. "Molly Jo?"
Then at last, she slowly recovers when she opens her eyes until she sees that Sprig, but as Frog-Man that was staring at her.
"Frog-Man?" Molly Jo puzzled softly.
"Oh, thank frog." Sprig felt relief. "You're okay."
"W-what?" She moves her head around and noticed that she's in the alley. "Where am I?"
"It's a long story, but you were being mind controlled by the robot." Sprig answered, but imitating his heroic voice.
"Wait, what?" Molly Jo was confused, then she looked at Sprig's holding onto her goggles that was all webbed up. "Whose web was that?"
"Ahem."
Then both kids looked up at him and they looked completely surprised that Spider-Man was standing in front with his arm crossed. They couldn't believe his own eyes.
"Spider-Man?!" Molly Jo gasps.
"WHOA!" Sprig stunned.
"Your darn right, 'Whoa'." said Spider-Man.
"Wait, is Peter Parker is Spider-Man?" Sprig asked when he guessed
"Uh, no. Peter Parker is Spider-Man's roommate." Spider-Man answered, but covered up his identity.
"Oh, gotcha."
"Oh, my... gosh! Spider-Man?! Here?! I can't believe it! I'm a huge fan!" Anne went fangirl on him when approaches.
"Who's he?" Hop Pop asked curiously.
"Who's he?! Spider-Man is one of the greatest superheros of all time and he's the member of the Avengers!" Anne explains.
"Don't forget, leader and founder of the Web Warriors." Spider-Man added.
"Web Warriors?" Polly repeated.
Then out of nowhere, they all looked up and see three more shadow figures until they jumped down next to Spider-Man as Anne and Molly Jo were even more excited and gasps. Even her parents were in quite surprised.
"No way! Ghost-Spider! Kid Arachnid! And Spider-Woman?!" Anne stunned.
That's right, the Web Warriors has arrived. Two girls couldn't believe their own eyes.
"What up, danger?" said Kid Arachnid.
"Hey." said Ghost-Spider.
Anne started to squeal with excitement while Molly Jo jolted up next to her as she did the same with, but with her robot claws imitating. The Plantars were covering their ears when it's getting loud until they stop squealing.
"Okay! Okay! We get it!" said Sprig.
"Can anyone explain to me what's going on here?!" Polly demanded.
"That's a good question. We were on our mission to investigate, but luckily our spider sense picked up that the two of you are fighting." said Spider-Man.
"I did?" Molly Jo asked when confused.
"You don't remember what happened back there?" Spider-Woman asked.
"I-I don't know. I was just showing my robot arms that I borrowed from my grandpa so that I could win for science fair, but then I..." She paused for a moment when she started to realize that her mind was all blank when taken control. "I don't remember."
Ghost-Spider steps in when she knelt down to comfort her and felt empathy at the girl.
"It wasn't your fault. You didn't know what's going on when you're in mind control." said Ghost-Spider.
"Then how come I don't remember for what I've been doing?" Molly Jo asked.
"It's hard to say this, but when you're in control, you could've hurt someone. It's a good thing my partner just snatched it off and scattered the pieces."
Then the girl lowers her head down in shame. Sprig frowns that she doesn't deserve this. Even Anne and the rest felt bad about her.
"Molly Jo?" Sprig went to reach her hand, but she looks at him with her shameful look.
"I'm so sorry. It was my own fault. I didn't mean this to happen, but-"
"It's okay. I forgive you." said Sprig.
"But you're hurt."
"There's nothing to be ashamed of yourself. We're still friends, right?" Sprig offers his handshake.
Molly Jo forms her small smile and then accepted her apologies.
"Friends."
As they shake their hands, but it was stuck and tries to pull back until released. Then they started to laugh softly. Anne and her parents were smiling at them. Ghost-Spider stands up and looks happy through her mask.
"Well, I guess these arms is a total waste then." said Molly Jo when lowered her voice.
"I wouldn't be so sure. Since I free you from the software, I'm gonna have to slip this one out to you. But promise me that it won't fall to the wrong hands." said Spider-Man.
"Really?"
"If it's up to you."
"Well, then I'm keeping it!" Molly Jo smiles.
"Say WHAAAAAAAAT?!" Hop Pop exclaims it.
They turn their heads at him when he exclaims it out loud, but Anne and her family remembers his latest catchphrase.
"I mean, no offense, but are you sure that you are letting her keeping these arms?" Hop Pop asked when concerns.
"Not all weapons are bad. People like us deserves a second chance if anyone redeemed themselves." said Spider-Man. "There's this one person who once told me, with great power..."
"Comes great responsibility. Like you said, right?" Sprig finished his sentence.
Spider-Man looked surprised that Sprig memorize those words. He felt touched towards him.
"Yeah. So, Frog-Man. Right? Heard everything about you."
"Oh! Thank you." Sprig blushed behind his scarf and his mask. "It's an honor."
"Heh, the honor is mine." Spider-Man chuckles.
The suddenly, their moment was interrupted when Spider-Man picked up his communicator watch has picked up something until he realized that something.
"Uh oh. Looks like we picked up something and I know who's behind all this." said Spider-Man.
"Who?" Sprig tilted his head.
"Take a guess."
He turns on a projector screen at the brick wall until the screen shows a footage from the news channel as they turn their attention when Jameson is on the news.
"This just in, chaos strikes again when an alien monster known as Venom, who's been hiding out here for over six years and he's wreaking havoc all around from San Francisco to Los Angeles! We've picked up a footage that he sends a message for those who were superheroes, especially for that wall crawling menace!"
Then it switches into Venom that records everything from his camera with a different background while he laughs.
"(laughs) The Venom marathon continues on the biggest TV in New York! We're shoutin' out to the whole big Rotten Apple, here people."
"Sad thing is, he'll probably get his own talk show for this." Spider-Man remarks that he once knew.
Then we cut to Bailey's apartment where Eddie and Bailey are sitting on the couch watching TV while Kettle sits on the floor eating popcorn and Marcy as a spirit was lying flatly on the floor kicking her legs.
"So, we've got this old timer. You know him, he's one of those less famous villains. We have decided that this old man has twenty-four hours to live! Twenty-four hours!"
Then we cut to Danville where Phineas and Ferb are also watching TV with Isabella, Baljeet, and Buford that they all recgonize him since the last time that they saw him along with his associates.
"So, just in case someone... and I know who it could be. If anyone of you tight-wearing freaks out there, want to save this old fashion model... THEN BRING IT ON! Meanwhile, New Yorkers... the Venom marathon will continue!"
Now back to our main group as Venom first growls and then cackles. Anne knew who this Venom is, but the Plantars felt unease at his appearance.
"Eugh! He's uglier than I thought!" Hop Pop disgusted.
"Yeah, he totally gives me a creep." Polly agrees.
"That's Venom alright, but that's not our Agent Venom." said Kid Arachnid.
"What do you mean 'Our'?" Sprig was confused at first.
"He means that there are two separates. One is our teammate that lives in New York and the other is Eddie Brock." Spider-Man explains.
"Hey, our friend's name is Eddie too!" Sprig jumps in.
"So, we have two Eddies, then. Guess we should call him Brock, just in case." said Spider-Woman.
"Hold up, you're talking about THE Eddie Brock? The guy who got fired from Daily Bugle?" Anne raised her eyebrows.
"Yep. That's our guy. He used to work as a photographer, but he got fired after putting a blame on me. Then couple of days later after the invasion, one particle of Symbiote has bonded with him and became Venom. We've been fought a lot back in 2013 until we turn him to S.H.I.E.L.D., but he escaped and went to hiding."
"(gasp) Of course! He must've been hiding in San Francisco and then came here to L.A. for two years!" Anne remembers what she has heard of.
"Then that's where we're heading." said Spider-Man.
"Wait, what if I can help?" said Sprig.
"You? Help us?" Kid Arachnid raised his eyebrows when disbelief.
"Sure! I save the city and help people and I even fought my first supervillain!"
"No offense, dude. But remember what happen the last time that you nearly damaged the city?" Anne reminds him.
"I know, but I want to help, just like you! I promise that I will be responsible kid."
They started to look concerned with him, but the Web Warriors thought of something that they realized what he's trying to do. Being a hero meaning that he has to be a simple responsibility.
"Well, in that case. You're in." said Spider-Man
"Really?! YES!" Sprig jumps up with glee.
Anne shook her head gently.
"May Olms have mercy." Hop Pop sighed.
"Pardon me for asking, but do you know what you've been dealing with?" Bee asked skeptically.
"Then that's what we're gonna do." said Spider-Man. "And this time, it's personal."
