Chapter 44: Spider-Sprig Returns – Part 3
Meanwhile, Sprig and Spider-Man are running through the hall to find the Arc Reactor and shut it down. Just them when he picked up a call from his communicator watch as Ghost-Spider is calling.
"Spider-Man, we managed to stop them with high-pitched sound, but they took it out and climb aboard the rocket."
"Are we too late?" Spider-Man asked.
"No, but Venom has already taken care of. He blows up the rocket with Symbiotes on it."
"Wait, seriously?!"
"Yes. Miles has already contact Fury and they'll be here any minute."
"Okay, just sit tight and we'll gave you a call."
"Understood. Be careful."
Spider-Man ended the call while keep running. Sprig however, is still hopping along with him to keep up.
"What happened?" Sprig asked.
"The rocket blows up. All five of them are dead." Spider-Man answered.
"Really? Well, that takes care of that."
"Don't be so sure. I highly doubt that there is this person who's working with."
"So, any idea who's working with?"
"There's only one way to find out."
Once they reached to the door when it opens, they covered their eyes a bit and they couldn't see that there were two silhouette figures with bright lights behind them while this one cackles. Spider-Man looks too sternly that he demands to know who he is.
"Listen, whoever you are! No one can control the symbiote! No one!"
As of cue when the light dies down, revealed that Doctor Octopus and Carnage were the ones that confronts them with his latest technology with the Arc Reactor.
"I need not control the symbiotes Spider-Man." said Doc Ock.
"Dock Ock?!" Spider-Man shocked.
He couldn't believe that his longtime arch-nemesis was behind all this the whole time. Sprig can tell that his hero was in full of shock with a twist.
"We will work as one. It's a new world. Humanity needs the skills that my technology will get them, symbiosis is the only way." Dock Ock explain his evil plan to him.
"I should've known it was too good to be true." said Spider-Man sternly.
"A perfect world order." Then Dock Ock raise his tentacle arms when prepared to attack. "Those who cannot share my vision will be crushed by it."
Then suddenly, Venom came out of nowhere after he visible himself from camouflage making the two of them surprised.
"Speaking of crushed, it showtime freaks!" Then Venom smells and turned his head at Carnage, giving him an anger look. "Oooh, I smell bad symbiote and it ain't me!"
"Bring it on, grandpa!" Carnage snarls.
Both Symbiote take full of charge as they started to fight by clawing and punching until they grabbed each other and jumps up, crashing above the ceiling. That only leaves two against one.
"Finally." said Sprig while stretching his knuckles.
"Alone at last." Spider-Man prepares for attack.
"Let us end this, Spider-Man." said Doc Ock sternly.
The fight begins when he stretches his robotic tentacles to attack, but they jump and leapt towards by taking a swing to kick him off as the mad scientist slide backwards. He flings two crates with his claws to deflect.
"Whoa!" Sprig exclaims.
They quickly dodged and engage by throwing a quick punch at a time like this. Doc Ock uses his upper left arms to grab Spider-Man when struggles and he use upper right arms to grab Sprig as he couldn't breathe.
"A very pleasure to meet you at last, Frog-Man." said Dock Ock. "I should be thanking you for locking up this imposter."
"Yeah, I noticed!" Sprig grunted.
When Spider-Man uses his arm to aim directly at him.
"Heads up, doc!" Spider-Man shoot his web directly towards at Doc Ock's goggle.
"G'AH!"
He drops them both while he's distracted. They turn their heads at the Arc Reactor that was inside of Octavius's technology that controls the symbiotes, but then they see what's inside of all these tubes. Spider-Man figures that it's too dangerous to let it loose to the world.
"I'll distract him. Get the Arc Reactor." said Spider-Man while instructing Sprig.
"Which one?" Sprig asked.
"The one in the center like a circle." He pointed his finger.
Sprig sees that circle was the Arc Reactor. He nodded at him.
"On it!"
Sprig hops off to get the reactor, but then he was just zapped showing his skeletons for a second until he fell flatly. His costume is having a little steam before he raises his finger.
"Spidey, we have a problem." Sprig groaned.
Doc Ock took the web off from his goggles and took noticed when Frog-Man just fell for it.
"That's because I activate a deflector shield. It'll prevent anyone to go near it, including you." said Doc Ock.
"Cut to the chase, Doc. What is it that you want with the Arc Reactor?" Spider-Man asked when glaring.
"To have enough power to rebuild my army. No S.H.I.E.L.D., no Hydra, No Oscorp, everything they create will be destroyed." replied Doc Ock.
"What about Carlton? You're not gonna betrayed him too, are you?"
"Drake's death is a great tragedy. It is with a heavy heart that I'm in control. When I'm done with you, I will turn everyone you cared into my own slaves!"
"You of all people should know that you are completely insane mad scientist I ever faced!"
"And I thought Andrias was gone mad." Sprig muttered, but at least they didn't hear him.
"Let's end this! Shall we?"
Doc Ock stretches his arms to attack Spider-Man, but jumps up high to give him a punch before he was swooped by right tentacles until he fell to the ground. He tried to get up, but yanked up by Doctor Octopus when wrapping Spider-Man around and strangling him.
Sprig couldn't just sit there and watch him get strangled by this maniac! Luckily, he brought his trusty slingshot and picked up a pebble to aim at him until he flings it to the head. This give Spider-Man enough time to web at Doc Ock's goggles and made it out alive just in time.
"Thanks, little dude! Nice shot!" Spider-Man impressed.
"Thanks! I brought my trusty little slingshot." replied Sprig.
"Alright, we need to shut this down and get the reactor-" His words were cut off when his spider sense is tingling. "Look out!"
He yanked him out before left tentacle arms strike after Doc Ock ripped the web off of his face. Giving them a cold glare.
"I will crush you like cockroaches!"
He stretches all arms to attack, but dodge as they swings around the area. While they're keeping him busy, the dragonflies flew out from the air vent and then shifted into rats as Pain and Panic took their peek to make sure that they're distracted.
"You can't catch me! You can't catch me!" Sprig mocking while swinging with his tongue.
"Fight me! Stand and fight me!" Doc Ock growls.
Then they laid their eyes at the Arc Reactor that's still inside of the deflector shield.
"Now?" Panic asked when nervous.
"Not yet." replied Pain.
Once Spider-Man lands on right in front of the tube with Symbiotes inside, Doctor Octopus use his robotic arms to grab the crate and toss it at him, but shoot his web to swing off until the crate scatters into pieces.
Sprig has landed on top of the generator and took noticed that there's button all over the place. His eyes grew big like he always wanted to touch every single buttons like from L.A. for which he kinda did back at the mall.
"Hello, buttons." said Sprig wriggle his fingers. "Mind if I touch it?"
He quickly starts typing to figured how things work. While Spider-Man was distracting him, Doc Ock turn his attention when Frog-Man has violently pushing buttons.
"NO! You'll ruined everything!" Doc Ock yells.
"That's the idea!" Spider-Man shoot his webs four times at tentacle arms to prevent from another attack. "We're shutting you down for good!"
Then he launches towards him before he gave him a big blow punch, causing him to stumbling back against the deflector shield for causing him to be electrified as he screams in pain until the shield is down.
At last, the mad scientist supreme has been defeated, for now once the steam is flowing from his back. Sprig stop pressing so many buttons and looked astonished that he helped Spider-Man to take out his mortal enemy.
"WHOA! BRUTALITY!" Sprig shouted gleefully.
"The end. My plan." Doc Ock groaned before he fainted.
"One down, one to go." said Spider-Man. "I wonder how Venom was doing."
Then suddenly, the ceiling crashed when Venom fell through, roaring and made a huge thud. Spider-Man was in shocked that his arch-rival was knocked out.
"Venom, are you alright? Talk to me!"
While they took no noticed, Carnage crawls in as the deadliest symbiote form his tentacles out of his blood-infused symbiote to slowly lowering it down. Spider-Man tried to shake him gently. Sprig hops over next him and looked concerned about Venom.
"Hey? Are you okay?" Sprig asked.
"Look out... Parker. Behind you." Venom moaned.
"What'd' you say?"
Without a warning, Spider-Man just yanked up high towards Carnage while Sprig was shockingly frightened that his partner was taken.
"SPIDEY!" Sprig yells.
"AHAHAHAHAHA!" Carnage cackles.
Spider-Man tried to break free, but struggling to get out as Carnage was squeezing him too tight. Sprig started to panic while just standing there.
"Oh no! I have to help him!" said Sprig fearfully before he spit his tongue to swing up high to the ceiling.
Then he sees Carnage was strangling Spider-Man while mockingly singing.
"It's your friendly neighborhood Carnage-Man! Carnage-Man! Carnage-Man! Doing all the things a Carnage can!"
"Stop...mocking...me..." Spider-Man grunted while trying to breathe.
Sprig tries to think of something to free his idol, but what he saw some ripped cord that was left damaged during the symbiote fight. He took his slingshot to aim with a pebble and then he fires at the cord when it fell to zap Carnage as he screeches thus releasing Spider-Man from his grip.
"Nice safe." said Spider-Man.
"Thanks, but how are we gonna stop this thing?" Sprig cautious.
"The only weakness we know is fire and sound."
"(gasp) That's it! Are there any speakers in here?"
"For the PA announcement? You just read my mind."
Carnage took his cold-blooded glared at the two of them after he regained his energy left enough to strike them down.
"Now, you're DEAD!" Carnage roars.
With Venom being knocked out besides Doc Ock, this should give these two the opportunity to get their hands on while they get the chance.
"Now?" Panic asked again.
"Now!" Pain nodded.
They crawl with their tiny little feet until they climb up to get the Arc Reactor off from Octavius's technology just enough time before they nearly dropped it, but caught it in their paws.
"Got it!" said Panic.
"Okay, now we're out of here." replied Pain.
And so, they have carried the Arc Reactor as they got away safely. Nobody noticed that the reactor had just disappeared. Back to them, they keep dodging from Carnage's brutal attack with his formed tentacles by stabbing.
"He looks more scarier than I thought!" Sprig exclaims fearfully.
"CARNAGE IS THE PERFECT WEAPON! CARNAGE IS CHAOS!" Carnage roars.
"Man, this guy is a lunatic!" said Spider-Man.
"What do I do?!" Sprig asked so anxiously to end this nightmare.
"I'll distract him. Find the speaker!"
Sprig looks around to find the PA speakers until he spotted it something like a huge technology for supersonic. This is perfect. Sprig hops over to the sound booth to charged it up when it's ready.
When Spider-Man is swinging around to void from getting stabbed, but he was grabbed and yanked towards Carnage by using red formed tentacle to strangled him up like snakes as the symbiote cackles.
"Nice try! (cackles) Any last words!" Carnage sneers.
"(grunted) Just... for once." Spider-Man grunted before he yells for the signal. "NOW!"
Sprig pushes the button to activate the supersonic sound by making Carnage screech in agony thus dropping Spider-Man to the ground. He looked up and see Sprig to turn up the heat all the way high.
"It's working!" Sprig chimes.
"Whatever you do, don't stop!" said Spider-Man.
By then when the Carnage symbiote began to get weakened by coming off Kassidy with covering his ears. The supersonic sound was too pain for him when he grows weakness.
"IT BURNS! IT BURNS USSSS!" Carnage screech so loud until he felt fainted when the symbiote suit ejects the body and fell through the hole.
"That's the last of it. Now we just need to shut down the reactor and turn them to S.H.I.E.L.D." said Spider-Man.
"S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Sprig curious.
"It's an acronym. Don't worry, they're the good guys."
"So, are they're like governments or something?"
"I wouldn't say for governments, but they're like secret agents and they're the only ones that support the Avengers."
"Right, just making sure if they won't... Well, you know." Sprig shrugged.
"Well, that's everything. Maybe except for-"
His words cut off when all four robotic arms burst through the ceiling as startling the two of them.
"WHOA!" Sprig yelps.
"What the-"
His words cut off again when both him and Sprig were being pulled out from the ceiling to the ground. Once they recover, they looked up and shockingly horrified that there's a symbiote with four arms with scary looking teeth.
"Wait, Dock Ock?!" Sprig exclaims fearfully.
"No, Monster Ock." said Spider-Man that he once knew long ago.
Monster Ock, a combination in between Doctor Octopus and Carnage after he was bonded with Carnage Symbiote, but more terrifying than ever. Spider-Man remembers when the last time his arch-enemy has been bonded with Carnage.
"SPIDER-MAN! IT'S NOT OVER YET!" Monster Ock roars before he uses his tentacle arms to attack.
Both of our heroes dodge quickly from the attack, but Sprig wasn't even paying attention while dodging from the attack until he lands on the big red button as the alarm triggers.
"Warning! Self-Destruct sequence initiated!"
"Self-Destruct?" Sprig puzzled, but he realizes that he really did accidentally press the self-destruct button. "Uh oh! We gotta get of here!"
As of cue, the explodes emerge all over the lair as the flames burst, shattering the glass tube thus destroying all of symbiotes particles. Gases leaks from the pipes when it hit Monster Ock screech in pain. Spider-Man looks around to see if there's anyone's left, but he couldn't see Venom.
"You're right! This place is about to blow! Come on!"
Sprig noticed that they were supposed to retrieve the Arc Reactor, but he couldn't see that it just disappeared.
"Wait! What about the reactor?!" Sprig asked.
"Forget it! We have to get out, now!"
Both Sprig and Spider-Man ran through the exit. Monster Ock spotted them and starts to chase them in pursuit. After the chase start, the body fell from the ceiling when Cletus Kassidy was the only person left.
He regains conscious, but too weak to get up when his body was all injured due to the explosion. He tried to get up, but he could see a small particle of Carnage Symbiote that fell from Monster Ock, crawling towards him.
He reaches his arm to touch it, but out of nowhere when Venom who regains conscious after the healing factor stomping the symbiote with his feet. He picks up the symbiote and raise it up high until he start to devour the remaining Carnage symbiote. Every last drop, much to his disgust.
"He did not taste good." said Venom disgusted.
Kassidy has nowhere to go, but his legs injured due to his fall. Venom picks up the maniac until his face reveals for Eddie so that he can see him one last look.
"I'm a killer. With or without the monster, Eddie. Do you know what I really wanted?"
"Alright, what is it Cletus?" Eddie angrily asked.
"I wanted your friendship."
"Not this time."
He knows him since he visited him in the asylum long ago until he escape and recruited by Doc Ock for experiments. However, it didn't last much longer after the fight and the plan will fail. If it weren't for the superheroes, the world will be doomed.
Now that Brock coldly declines for the last, he lets Venom taking over before he lets out an anger growls before Cletus Kassidy meet his certain fate.
"SCREW THIS GUY!"
Venom just bites the head off and toss the body to the fire and started to burn. With no time to waste, the place was about to collapse when it still exploding. He started to flee from the lair after all symbiotes in the tube were destroyed.
Out throughout the hallway, Monster Ock is pursuing Sprig and Spider-Man while most structure collapse with many sparks and gas hissing until they reach to an elevator where they got off.
"GET IN!" Sprig frantic.
Spider-Man tries to push buttons repeatedly before Monster Ock tried to reach them until the door closes it. It won't be long when the door was banging, causing them to flinch. Sprig looked panic even more.
"Can't this thing go any faster?!"
"There's no time!" replied Spider-Man.
With no other choice, he shoots his web to bring down the vent from the ceiling and jumps up through. Sprig looks up and hops up quickly just enough time before Monster Ock breaks through the door.
There's nowhere to go, but up when they knew that it's their only way out. They have to worry before they get crushed. Sprig hops on to Spider-Man on his back for safety when he looks back at him.
"Hold on!"
Spider-Man jumps up with Sprig carrying on to his dear life by crawling up fast on the wall and jumps one wall to another. Then they could hear some crash when Monster Ock is ripping through the ceiling, roaring at them.
"I SMELL YOU, SPIDER-MAN!" Monster Ock roars.
It did take that long when they reach the top as Spider-Man made it to the elevator door and tries to open so quickly with his superhuman strength. Sprig looks down fearfully that the monster is crawling up towards them with his tentacle arms.
"AAAHHH!" HURRY!" Sprig screams.
Then finally, Spidey opens the door with his strength and got out just in time before everything explodes, right out from the elevator.
"MOVE IT! MOVE IT! MOVE IT!" Spider-Man yells.
Just as they reach to the lobby's main door, but Monster Ock burst out from the elevator with explosives flames behind him and roars at them with rage. Once they made it to an exit, the explosives emerge like from action movie where they jump and fell to the ground.
They looked back and see that from the lobby was on fire, and they need to make sure if Monster Ock was right behind them. But there's no sign of him. Just nothing, but rubble from the collapse structure from the elevator.
"Is he dead?" Sprig asked when concerned.
"Let's hope not." replied Spider-Man.
But suddenly, he spoked too soon when Monster Ock burst from the rubbles, startling at them. With steams running from his back, but it's not strong enough for the fire to weaken the monster. Sprig and Spider-Man prepares for the final battle.
"LET THERE BE...CARNAGE!" Monster Ock roars at them.
As the roar echoes through the lobby, Sprig pulls his slingshot and quickly grabs the pebble to aim at him carefully. But he looked so scared a bit that this is gonna be his nightmare for the rest of his life.
"Spidey?"
Spider-Man took noticed and sensed that Sprig was afraid from this monster. The frog in disguise looks up with his eyes grew fear through his goggles.
"I'm scared."
He bent down on his knee just to comfort him like how his mentor said to him. He laid his hand on the boy's shoulder.
"Hey, it's gonna be okay." said Spider-Man softly.
Sprig nodded and turns their attention back at Monster Ock when prepare to strike them down. When he growls, but suddenly a web just came out of nowhere right in the face. Both of them were surprised at first until they hear a familiar voice.
"What up, danger!"
They looked up and smiles through the mask as they are happy to see Spider-Woman, Kid Arachnid, and Ghost-Spider swinging in until they land next to each other. Perfect time for five against one.
"Mind if we crash the party?" Kid Arachnid asked.
"We've got your back, Spidey." said Ghost-Spider.
"Hey, thanks for the lift." replied Spider-Man. "I've been meaning to tell you what it took you guys so long."
"Looking at the camera? Saw everything." said Spider-Woman.
"And we heard an explosive with that." Kid Arachnid point his finger at Monster Ock that ripped out the web from his face as it roars.
"So, what now?" Ghost-Spider asked.
"As a team. With great power, comes great responsibility." Sprig answered.
"I like your spirit." said Spider-Man. "Let's take this guy down first."
"I'M GONNA RIP YOU APART! PIECE BY PIECE!" Monster Ock roars while charging.
"Web Warriors, attack!"
They charged towards Monster Ock and jumps up in time right where he stretches his tentacle arms to attack. Spider-Man first kick him in the face, then Ghost-Spider just flipped over herself on top of him just stomp his head off.
Kid Arachnid and Spider-Woman start punching him with his electrical fist while she forms sword to slice off the symbiote part as the monster screech. Sprig ran towards on the arms until he hops and gives him a big huge headbutt, causing his own head injured.
"OW! OW! OW! OW! OW!" Sprig ease off the pain.
Just as Monster Ock roars in rage, he violently swings his tentacle arms to knock the four of them off of his back. But they are not giving up just yet. They started to shoot webs directly at the claw from the arms to pulled it back while Monster Ock struggling to pull himself back like tug of war.
Now it's the perfect time to finish him off when Sprig laid his eyes on the pebble when he picked it up, rips off the web to wrapped it up, and carefully set it on fire so that he could aim directly at Monster Ock by using his slingshot that are fireproof.
"HEY UGLY!" Sprig yells, getting the monster attention. "CATCH THIS!"
Sprig fires directly towards at the chest until the fire spread all over the symbiote suit, thus the Web Warrior letting go while Spider-Man shoot his web fireball directly at him causing more fire with Monster Ock screeches with agony, all over his body.
Every last minute when Carnage Symbiote is burning up and it will be no more, but until the suit is finally erase from Doc Ock's body and he fell to his knee to the ground with his robotic arms. At last, Carnage is no more.
When Spider-Woman rushes towards him, she uses her fingers to check the pulse to see if he's still breathing. Luckily, she felt that the pulse it still active when nodded at her teammates.
"He's alive and unconscious." Ghost-Spider confirms.
"So, does this mean we won?" Sprig asked.
"Yeah, dude. We won." Kid Arachnid answered.
Sprig spread his smiles as he hops up with glee.
"WOO HOO! WE DID IT! WE WON!" Sprig cheers.
The Web Warriors couldn't help, but smiles at him. Even though, he couldn't even see their face because they're all wearing their mask to cover their identity.
"I love this kid." Spider-Woman giggles.
Just then, they heard an engine sound as they all turn around to see what's up. Sprig stop celebrating when he looked at something that just landed. They shared their glance for a moment.
"Is it S.H.I.E.L.D?" Kid Arachnid asked.
"It should be." replied Ghost-Spider.
"Let's web him up in case he tried to escape." Spider-Man suggested.
They nodded before they shoot their webs to wrap around unconscious Doc Ock so that he wouldn't try to escape again. Once they heard some footstep with lights shines behind them once the smoke settles, it turns out that it was Anne who first came inside until she looked surprise to see her best friend.
"Sprig!" Anne smiles.
Sprig smiles through his mask, so happy to see his best friend.
"Anne!" Sprig rush towards to hug her so dearly.
The Web Warriors were a bit confused at first .
"Sprig?" Spider-Man repeatedly before his teammate shrugged, but then they heard some voice too.
"There he is!"
"We found him!"
Polly and Hop Pop came in second with their disguises as they both gathered to hug him very tight like family reunion. They've released from their hug and looked each other's eyes. Sprig was also surprised to see them too.
"Polly! Hop Pop! How'd you guys get here?" Sprig asked.
"We've had help." Hop Pop answered.
When he looks straight ahead, he could four figures coming and he was even more surprise when Phineas, Ferb, Isabella, and Candace were all came in to see him. Spider-Man smiles through his mask that he recognize them.
"Hey, aren't those kids that helps you got your powers back?" Ghost-Spider asked.
"Yep, they're the ones." Spider-Man answered.
"Wow! I'm impressed." said Arachnid.
"Hey, Spider-Man!" Phineas greeted. "Long time no see."
"It's been a while. I'm starting to feel like I met the past. No offense." said Spider-Man.
"None taken."
"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" Anne asked when acting like a sister to him.
"No. I'm fine." Sprig answered.
"Good." Anne drops her smile into anger. "YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE!"
He flinched when she yells at him. They were all surprised that she just yells at this kid. Candace knows how that feels when her brothers gets involved during summer.
"Anne, I-I'm sorry." Sprig sadly apologize.
"What were you thinking?! You could've gotten yourself killed! Do you have any idea what worries me?!" Anne felt a bit worried with her mixture of sad and scolded.
"Yes, I know. I'm sorry that I left you to help Spider-Man from the invasion." replied Sprig.
"Wait, you told them about the invasion?!" Anne shocked.
"NO! Not the one we were facing! The one I meant when we have to face some parasites-"
"PARASITE?!"
They were flinched as they heard something until the rubbles burst when Venom comes out growling. Anne and her friends went yelped in shocked, except for Sprig since he's been here for a while.
"N-no! Not you! I meant those guys! The ones you blow them up." Sprig raise his arms in defense.
"Wait, what?" Anne raised her eyebrows.
"With all the boomshrooms?" Polly asked.
"It's a long story." Sprig shrugged while rubbing his back.
Venom takes it back when he stops growling. He glanced at Doc Ock that's been all wrapped up and then looks at Spider-Man and his teammates when getting cautious in case something like a rematch.
"Come on, Brock. You know he's not mentioning about you. It's about the others" said Spider-Man.
He doesn't look too convince at first, but they do have a point. He roughly exhaled before he speaks.
"My... apologies. I... I don't know what came over me." said Venom.
They felt relief and stood straight. Good thing that they don't want to pick up another fight. Candace felt pretty unease and looked cautious that she has last seen Venom after getting butt kicked by superheroes. Even her brothers and her friend from across the street were quite surprised.
"Sprig? Are you sure that you could trust this thing? I mean, after we have seen him like the last time?" Candace asked when concerned.
"Don't worry. He's not gonna eat us." Sprig assured her. "Except when I was told that he can only eat bad guys."
"That's a good question. I wonder what happened to 'you know who'?" Kid Arachnid wondered.
They turn their glance towards Venom who just crossing his arms. Some heroes knows what Venom just did while the kids were just confused.
"What? I was just so hungry! Okay!"
"You mean... this guy is... dead?" Sprig asked stammering feeling disgusted.
"That's literally gross." Anne stuttered.
"Well, let's all agree that we should never speak anything of this." said Spider-Man.
"Agreed." Ghost-Spider agrees.
"Welp. We better get going before anyone else noticed." Hop Pop suggested.
He spoke too soon when they heard a distance from a helicopter and it's getting a bit closer, but not from far. Venom knew that the explosions got their attention. He can't be seen otherwise he goes to jail or even worse, a classified location.
Spider-Man looks at Venom that he was staring at the direction. He could tell if he's gonna turn him over to S.H.I.E.L.D. or he could just let him go and call it night as long as he doesn't do anything like too much violence.
"Hey, Venom."
He turn his head at Spider-Man crossing his arms.
"You should probably get of here while you still can. If you want any rematch, we'll be waiting." said Spider-Man.
Venom couldn't believe that he talk things out after everything they've been fought together. Can he really be trusted from all this? Even thought, they're still rivals. For now. He could hear Eddie's voice inside.
"You know, he has a point. Let's get out of here while we still can."
Then he climbs up to the wall before he looks down at the group with final look. Spider-Man nodded with his approval.
"We shall meet again, for we...are...LETHAL PROTECTOR!"
Venom jumps out, then climbs up on the roof as he runs on four until he jumps off to the forest just to be safe from the authority. They shall meet again one day, soon. Spider-Man's teammate's just gently nudged him.
"Way to go, tiger." Spider-Woman teased.
"Well, we better get going. Don't want to get into trouble again." Anne suggested.
"I agree with you." Sprig agrees. "Welp, see ya later."
"Wait, before you go, your real is name Sprig?" Spider-Man asked.
He turns around and looked up at him. Anne is rubbing her left arm nervously after she forgot to realize that they're still here. With no turning back, Sprig sighed sadly when he lowered his scarf to show his mouth to him.
"My name is Sprig Plantar. And I'm not basically from here. I'm from another universe with my sister and my grandpa." Sprig explains.
Hop Pop looks down to the ground while adjusting his glasses. Polly glance her eyes away when nervous. The Web Warriors took glance at each other with puzzled.
"So, you're a frog?" Kid Arachnid asked.
"Yeah, it's a really long story, but we have to get back to Amphibia. Anne's best friends are in trouble and so were the people we truly care. We need to stop King Andrias from invading your world and the entire universe. We don't know how long will it take for us to go back and stop this before it's too late. I'm sorry for not telling you early. I just wanted be like Tarantu-Lad or even you." said Sprig rubbing his arms nervously.
What he's telling is true. Spider-Man knelt down to his knees and look directly at Sprig. He could see the saddest look on the boy's face.
"I believe you."
Sprig blinked his eyes when surprised.
"Huh?"
"I get it. Before I met you, I've been travel to the multiverse or Spider-Verse for short. Meeting with my counterpart was truly amazing. Now meeting you was totally awesome." said Spider-Man.
"The multiverse is real?" Anne whispers to Phineas.
"Possibly, but I'm starting to feel like I don't remember." Phineas shrugged.
"Ditto." Candace added.
"So, you believe me?" Sprig asked.
"Absolutely, and don't worry. Your secret is safe with us." replied Spider-Man.
"Whether there's trouble, we got your back." said Kid Arachnid.
"We'll let our friends know when we're ready." Ghost-Spider added.
"You can count on us." Spider-Woman thumbs up.
"Thanks guys." Sprig smiles at them.
"Anytime, little dude. Anytime." replied Spider-Man before giving him a fist bump.
It would seem that they have earn their trust. Now it was time for Sprig and his friends to head back to L.A. while our heroes will stay behind until help has arrived.
"Well, it was nice hanging out with you." said Sprig.
"Thanks Sprig, for helping us taken out Doc Ock." Spider-Man thanked him.
"We're really gonna missed you, buddy." said Ghost-Spider.
"Hope you have a safe trip back home." Spider-Woman added.
"If there's plenty of room for the Avengers Campus, you are welcome to join us." said Kid Arachnid.
"Thanks, guys. See ya later." Sprig waved.
"Bye, Spider-Man." Anne waved goodbye. "Thanks for looking after Sprig."
"See you real soon!" Phineas smiles.
"Take care!" replied Spider-Man.
Anne, Sprig and their friends waved goodbye to the Web Warriors before they rushed out to the Sun-Beater 3000 as they buckled themselves in. Phineas and Ferb start navigating by turning on the engine.
As the plane slowly takes off, they looked down and see the Web Warriors waving their arms one last time as they waved back for the last and so they flew off from the ruined facility. They stopped waving while watching the plane taking off.
"I'm gonna miss this kid." said Kid Arachnid.
"Yeah, me too." replied Spider-Man.
"Uh, Pete? You didn't tell me that you retrieved the Arc Reactor." Ghost-Spider reminded him.
"Oh, sorry about that. It was destroyed when we escape." Spider-Man apologize.
"It was alright. So, what now?" Spider-Woman asked.
They turn their heads at Dock Ock who was still unconscious with groaning a bit.
"What matters now is we have to report Director Fury. He must know about the invasion." said Spider-Man.
Meanwhile closest to the beach not far from the facility, Pain and Panic has scurried their way out with the Arc Reactor until they stop running and transforming back back to normal while panting.
"Whew! Being a rodent was taking too long." Panic panted.
"Yeah, tell me about it. At least we made it out before it blows up." replied Pain.
Suddenly, the bubbles started to off from the water until Flotsam and Jetsam slowly emerge startling at them, but looked relief a bit.
"Oh, it's just you." Panic sighed.
And that's not all when they're not alone. Ursula, the Sea Witch slowly rise from the water expecting to see them on time.
"Hello, boys. Nice evening, ain't it?" said Ursula.
"Oh, it was fine. Except that there's explosions, aliens. (shuddered) Even the scariest monster fighting with um... spider people?" Panic shrugged.
"Yeah, that big one gave us the willies." Pain shuddered.
"Yes, that's very nice. Now, did you retrieve it?" Ursula asked.
Panic holds out the Arc Reactor until one of her tentacles reach to take it and examined it when she sinisterly grins.
"Nice work, boys. This is just what we need. Now we must hurry before anyone else would take notice." said Ursula.
Without any questions, she stretches two of her tentacles to grab both Pain and Panic with their eyes squeezed, then she use her witchcraft potion to open swirl the water like whirlpool before they disappeared along with her pets. Left without a trace.
Back in Los Angeles, Molly Jo was looking on her phone to see her photos of herself along with Frog-Man and her favorite Web Warriors doing their pose. She sighed sadly knowing that he was involved during the incident in the facility.
Then suddenly, she heard a knock on her window. She turns her attention until she gasps that it was Frog-Man turning upside down waving his right hand. She went to the window to open it and looked so happy with relief that he's alright.
"Frog-Man! You're back!" Molly Jo smiles.
"Yep! Back than ever." replied Sprig as Frog-Man.
"I am so worried about you. Are you okay?"
"Of course, I'm okay. I just got back after helping Spider-Man and his friends from taking down some alien monsters."
"Venom?" Molly Jo puzzled?
"No, no. They look like him, but scarier than ever. You don't have to worry about that anymore. They're all gone." Sprig assured her.
She sighed with relief, but looked down for a moment when she started to think what she's been through. Sprig noticed her look.
"Is something wrong?" Sprig asked.
"No, it's not that." replied Milly Jo.
"You can tell me if it bugs you."
She wanted to tell him how sorry she's been, but hesitated when feeling nervous. She exhaled softly before she speaks.
"I really wanted to apologize for not realize that these arms are very dangerous. I really wanted to win so that my parents would be very proud of me, but now I realize that my invention took over. (sighed) I guess I don't really deserve this."
She took her glance at the 1st ribbon on her desk that she has earned. Sprig couldn't let her depression consuming her.
"Don't say that. You deserve your first place." said Sprig.
"But...but I hurt you." said Molly Jo sadly.
"You have never hurt me. You know why?"
She looked up with her sad face to see his honesty look.
"You are the most talented kid I've ever met. Truth to be honest, I have met the most important person of all time who was truly my best friend. More than anything." said Sprig.
"Do you think so?" Molly Jo asked.
"Absolutely."
She formed her small smile that she's feeling a lot better despite everything for what happened.
"Thanks, Frog-Man." said Molly Jo.
"Anytime." replied Sprig before he turns around, but he felt his arm was touched.
"Wait, um..." She was gonna ask before he leaves. "I know you say would say no, but..."
"About showing my face? Sorry, I don't you want you get freaked out." said Sprig.
"It's not that. It's um... I had a huge crush on this boy who happen to be my best friend back from school. Can you keep it a secret?"
He nodded. She whispers to his ear until he realizes that he truly understands.
"Okay, I won't tell. Welp, see ya later." Sprig waved before he spit his tongue out and swing all over the street lamp in her neighborhood.
She was staring at him swinging up high until he left. She looked up to the moon that shines so bright behind the clouds. All she could think if she wanted to become a hero just like Frog-Man and any other heroes. Molly Jo took her glanced at her 1st prize smiling.
"Anytime, Frog-Man."
Meanwhile at the Sanctum Sanctorum in New York City, where it shows Doctor Strange, the Sorcerer Supreme was meditating while floating with the Cloak of Levitation upstairs in his room. He is having his inner peace after doing all of his duty to maintain the balance from any chaos.
Then suddenly, he started to hear an echo sound when he open his eyes. He couldn't tell where that noise is coming from until he can hear that echo again, but with sinister laugh as it grew loud and louder. He levitate himself down to the ground to prepared for the intruder. As the laugh grew louder, he started to realize that it was him.
"I know you're in here. Come on out!"
Just then when the dark portal opens, he turns around before his face was shifted into shocked that a dark figure steps into the light when Bill Cipher afloat through the dark portal.
"Well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well, well!" Bill cuts to multiple copies of himself materializing as he talks, forming a ring around Doctor Strange. "Aren't you a sight for sore eye! Doctor Stephen Strange! At last we meet!"
"Bill Cipher. I have heard about you and you heard about me." said Doctor Strange sternly.
"Darn right, I do!" said Bill before he merged his copies back into one. "You've probably wonder why I'm here."
"Let me guess. World domination?"
"Ding, ding, ding! Bingo! We have a winner! While I was stranded in the dark dimension, then suddenly I bump into someone that you might familiar with."
"Dormammu?"
"Think again!" Bill afloat aside as he introduced.
When Strange was staring at straight through the dark portal, all he could hear is metallic footstep until his eyes went wide with his horrified reaction when a figure turns out to be a robot who is an artificial intelligence. His whole body was silver and has two red eyes as the supervillain robot steps out from the dark portal. Doctor Strange knew this super villain is.
"Ultron?!"
"In the flesh." Then the supervillain robot start to firing with red lasers straight at the front view thus making everything go flash until it ends
