And now, the journey continues where Anne and her friends made it back to Amphibia and reunited with Sasha that leads the Resistance. Chapter 49: Commander Anne
And now, Anne was nearly knocked out after escaping from L.A. by jumping to the portal, then she open her eyes as the Thai girl groaned until she sees that is dirt, and then looks up that there were trees. She began to smile as she didn't noticed that the sky was air polluted.
"(gasps and laughs) We made it. I can't believe it." Anne laughs before she turn her head where her friends were staring at. "This is so- Guys?"
The Plantars and Frobo were staring at the view next to Mickey and his friends, including Jiminy Cricket, Stitch, Angel, Timon, Pumbaa, and Genie. They're only the toons that have been recruited by Anne. There were ten human kids, one human adult, and one platypus.
Phineas, Ferb, Perry, Candace, Isabella, Baljeet, Buford, and Dr. Doofenshmirtz were stood next Dipper, Mabel, Pacifica, and Wendy. The rest are Eddie, Bailey and Kettle stood next to Marcy with sparkles on her as a spirit. Anne went approached to the Plantars and the others as they looked horrified.
"Hey, what's going on?" Anne asked until she looks at the view and then horrified. "What... happened here?"
Now she sees why her friends looked horrified that all of Amphibia that she once loved are now ruins. All because of Andrias' hunger that stripped off the resources just as Newtopia castle floats over from the distance along with its fleets.
There was a factory where it once called the Ruins of Despair, but now it runs by making thousands of Frobots as they marched for their patrol. Over there, they have already built the polluted factory that dumps the radiation into the water, and then there was a giant bulldozer robot that looked like a rhino beetle, destroys the frogs home after a frog escapes.
Anne couldn't believe what's happening here. First she's been gone to Amphibia for over five months before escaping to Earth and now she's back after three months to get back to Amphibia. Everything she loved was ruined and nearly destroyed.
"Anne? I… I think we might be too late." said Mickey, feeling lost for a word.
Marcy overlooked her best friend feeling lost. She remembers when her most trusted companions from Newtopia that rescued her as they fell for the illusion for their worst fear. She couldn't help, but felt guilt for being deceived by the newt king.
"Oh, no." Donald frowns.
"Could this really be the end?" Goofy looks concerned.
"What happened to this place?!" Anne exclaims when looking scared.
"Anne, we've been gone for over three months!" replied Sprig.
"That's Amphibia?" Eddie asked, staring at the view.
"It's like I said, King Andrias is destroying everything in his path." replied Kettle.
"What are we gonna do?" Bailey looks a bit concerns.
"Quick! Back to Wartwood!" Hop Pop suggested as he and the team rushed off to Wartwood.
It didn't even take that long to get back to the village, but unfortunately as they stopped running as they approached to the main entrance as they all looked even more horrified that Wartwood was now left in ruins and destroyed as well.
"What?!" Sprig exclaims.
"Oh no!" Anne frowns.
"Not here too!" Hop Pop looks devastated.
"Even the statue's gone!" Polly sees that the statue was gone.
Anne refused to believe that the town was destroyed because it is her second home to her. She couldn't understand what has happened to Amphibia, the people she made friends with, even Sasha. She was afraid that they all got captured too or as she thought it was.
"I don't understand. What is going on here?" Bailey turns her worries look at her spirit friend.
"I don't know. The last thing I remember when Olivia and Yunan rescued me and then we fell for an illusion that everything was destroyed. It means that our worst nightmare has came true." replied Marcy as she explains to her.
"Do you remember what happened when you've been captured?" Eddie asked, feeling anxious.
"I wish I knew, but I can't have our friends thinking that you've talk to a ghost."
He took a quick glance at the Toons and the human kids were both lost and confused. Maybe Marcy's right. He'll have to wait until the time is right.
"Oh, man. It's Weirdmageddon all over again." said Dipper as the ruin village reminds him of something.
"At least Bill is not here." Mabel commented.
"Does this mean we're not having all we can eat buffet?" Pumbaa asked, but then they heard something noise.
That is when they looked and see a giant centipede wiggling. Its head comes up to face them, but has a glowing pink and purple collar, and its eyes are purple. They looked a bit shocked that there was another giant insect like the mantis.
"Huh?! Another one?!" Pacifica exclaims.
"It's a giant centipede!" Phineas point his finger.
"Uh... nice giant centipede?" said Anne, feeling a bit nervous.
But the roars at them causing them all screaming except for Ferb, Frobo, and the Plantars. Polly jumps up from Frobo as the tadpole yelling, then punches the centipede in the face, and then also kicks it in the face until it fell as Polly landed.
"Now, stay down." said Polly, but didn't see that the centipede got up as it makes a sound.
"Polly, look out!" Sprig cried.
"Huh?" She turns around, but it was too late. "Uh oh."
he giant centipede roars at her, getting ready to attack her. But before it can, it is hit with a red laser blast. They were startled and turn their heads that the blast was by someone with a red helmet covering their face, accompanied by three people with different helmets.
The laser gun shot the giant centipede in its collar, breaking the collar. This causes its eyes to stop glowing purple and for it to slither away. Anne and her friends were all shock and awe that they were saved by mysterious person.
"What the-" Anne turn her heads at turns around to face the four people that shot the giant centipede. "Hey, thanks... whoever you are."
That is when the three of them take off their helmet, revealing them to be One-Eyed Wally, Leopold Loggle, and Mrs. Croaker.
"Well, salt my slugs! It's you four!" Mrs. Croaker looked surprisingly happy when Archie pops out of her hair and yips twice.
"Croaker! Wally! LOGGLE?! Is that you?!" Anne looks amazed at how muscular and buff Loggle has gotten.
"Yup! I've been lifting weights every single day since you've been gone! Who knew I had these kind of gains in me all along?!" Loggle explain how muscular he has been.
"Dude! You've been rigged!" Eddie exclaims.
"Anne, do you know these guys?" Phineas asked.
"Oh, yeah! These are the ones that I've been talking about." replied Anne.
"What is going on around here?!" Hop Pop exclaims.
"What was that thing?!" Sprig points to where the giant centipede was.
"Loggle's buff now?!" Polly was all shocked, but they heard a familiar voice.
"I don't believe it. You're-" The person takes off the helmet, revealing that it was Sasha! "You're back!"
Her hair is now out of ponytail and wears a new pauldron, identical to the one worn by the Frobots, but this time on the left shoulder, a fur cloak, leather armor, her boots, clawed left glove with blue outline, an armored right wristband, and a left armband, and a fur skirt.
The Plantars and the team went all shocked and surprised that Sasha is alive, especially Anne when she takes aback from her appearance and that is until she forms her smile that her best friend is still alive. Alive than ever.
"Sasha!" Anne overjoys as she runs and hugs her, surprising Sasha after seeing her from three months. "You're alive! And in Wartwood? What's going on? What happened?"
"Follow me, and I'll explain." Sasha let go of her embrace, but then stop and sees Eddie and Bailey that they are smiling at her. "Eddie?! Bailey?!"
"Sash! You're alive!" Eddie runs towards and gave her a warm hug.
"I never thought I see you again!" Bailey joins the hug as well, making Sasha a bit surprised, but accepted her hug.
Marcy couldn't believe that Sasha was here all this time, feeling happy to see her again. But sadly that nobody can see her or hear her because she was a spirit, but at least her older brother and two of her friends can. After they let go of their embrace, Sasha looks at them first.
"What are you two doing here?" Sasha asked.
"Anne told us everything. We came here quick as we could." replied Eddie.
"And we brought some help." Bailey added, just as Sasha looks over and looked more surprised that the Toons and the human kids are here.
"Mickey?" Sasha blinked her eyes.
"Ha ha! Hi ya', Sash! Long time, no see." Mickey smiles.
"No way! Minnie, Donald, Goofy…" She looks at every single one of them and then she smiles. "Is that the Phineas and the Ferbtones?!"
"The one and only!" said Phineas, putting his hand on his hips.
"Whatcha doin?" Isabella asked.
"Wow! I can't believe it! You're all here!" Sasha smiles.
"That's right. We're here to stop King Andrias and to get my sister back." said Eddie.
She drops her smile that he mentioned it. Sasha knew what Eddie has been talking about. That is when she looks at them when there's no time to lose.
"Come with me."
Sasha went first to head on back with Wally, Croaker, and Loggle while Anne and the others followed behind them without questioning. As they keep up the pace to make sure no one was followed. Not here, not anywhere.
Finally, they have arrived at the Plantars Farm, but unfortunately that the house was now left in ruins. The crops were left in a mess, the barn was left damaged, and the upper house where Sprig and Polly used to sleep was now ripped apart.
The windows were boarded up also where Chuck is sitting on the outside like guarding the door to ensure no one goes in and out until Anne, Sasha, and the others has arrived. Chuck however wan not much of a happy frog, but noticed that they just came back.
"Chuck." Sasha salutes.
"Tulip." Chuck tip his hat.
Then she opens the door as they all entered, but the living room, the kitchen, and the upstairs were left a huge mess. The Plantars couldn't believe that their house was once again left in ruin, but this is different than the last time.
"Whoa…" Sprig looked curious.
"Yeesh. Someone did made a huge mess." Timon commented.
"Is this where you live?" Eddie asked.
"That's right. This is our home." Sprig answered.
"Wait. Our house is your secret hideout?" Hop Pop looked puzzled.
"Only the basement." Sasha knocks on the picture above the fireplace, then opening up an underground staircase. Anne and the Plantars remembers that there was an underground tunnel.
"No way! The Plantar Family tunnels?" Sprig looked surprised.
"Come on!" Sasha leads everyone down the stairs into the tunnels.
"Gosh, I had a good feeling about this." said Mickey.
"Me too, Mickey." replied Minnie.
"Hey, that reminds me. Ferb used to build a secret headquarters back in our backyard." said Phineas as he remembers, but Ferb denies that it wasn't him.
"Actually, I-"
"We have that secret basement too, back in Gravity Falls." said Dipper.
"Let's not forget that there was a secret bunker where we face shapeshifting monster." Wendy mentioned that.
"Wait, like an alien?" Candace looked puzzled.
"Nah, just a monster that we freezes it."
And by then once they reached to the floor, however when Anne and her friends went all amazed at this place.
"Whoa…" They all said together in awe.
"Welcome to the Resistance!" Sasha presenting to them.
The tunnels has turned into a makeshift underground Wartwood. Its citizens carrying on with life while many of them prepare for battle. There were shops and dining like Stumpy's diner and Grub & Gone, medical bay for the sick and homeless, and they have an armory that has weapons.
Grime is seen training a group of young frogs, including Ivy that wears her gray breastplate and Bailey the tiny little frog Bittyburg. Then there was Maddie, now sports a suit of armor, a black leather glove on her left hand, and a red headband. She was practicing magic next to a salamander boy who is a wizard in training.
Most frogs were lining up where there's a family known as the Smiths, giving armor plates to one another by John Silver Smith while his adopted kids, Sparky, 10 year old frog and Vanessa, 15 year old newt. Both kids were working as they made new armor and weapons.
Sasha leads the stunned newcomers around as they looked all amazed how everything has turned the basement into their underground headquarters. Even Marcy was all fascinated if only she wish to be here and seeing this.
"Whoa…" The Plantars said with unison.
"Well, I'll be doggone." said Donald when stunned.
"Wow! Look at this place!" Mabel smiles.
"Cool! It's like we're in the movie." said Phineas.
"Back in my days, I made my own secret hideout." said Doofenshmirtz.
"Aw, man. I wish Marcy was here to see this." said Eddie just as his spirit sister turns her head at him smiling.
"All right! Let's get you up to speed. Marcy has been taken prisoner, but she's still alive!" Sasha informs them about Marcy as they all felt relief.
"(sighs) Oh, thank goodness! So, what happened to the town?" Anne asked.
"What do you think? Andrias destroyed it. Now let's get you settled."
As they arrived where the statue was, the one that's been down there this whole time. Sasha instructed them to wait there by hiding from behind until she gave everyone their announcement. She steps up to the platform in front of the statue and then she blows the battle horn to get citizen's attention.
"Attention, Wartwood! I'd like to introduce some new recruits!" Sasha announces it as she steps aside until Anne and the Plantars pops out from behind the statue.
"Hey!" Anne waved.
"Hi, guys!" Sprig greeted.
The Wartwood citizens were cheering that they have returned at last.
"It's Anne and the Plantars!" They chanted with Bessie happily chirped.
"Sprig!" Both Ivy and Maddie cheered as they hopped up and gave him a huge hug after stumbling.
"Ivy! Maddie!" Sprig smiles that he is so happy to see them.
"Bessie! I missed you girl." Anne opens her arms when Bessie crawls until she gave her a warm hug when happily chirped until Sasha announces it once more.
"The Plantars here came back to Amphibia just in time. To help us kick Andrias right in the big ol' tail!" Sasha raised her fist up in the air as the crowd cheers once more. "And that's not all, Anne brought many help as we need that came all the from Earth, and whatever you do, don't freaked out."
They looked confused like they don't even know what they're expecting until Sasha made the signal. Eddie comes out at first just as the frogs looked surprised as they whispered. He was nervous at first, but he's a brave kid. He knows what he is doing.
"Um, hello? I'm Eddie, Eddie Wu. Marcy's older brother." He introduce himself when they gasp softly. "And these are my friends."
As of cue, Bailey and the others comes out as the frogs went shock and awe. They have never seen such cartoon characters or other human kids, especially that pharmacist. Marcy peeked to see everyone she knew, but it's a good thing that nobody can see or hear her because she's a spirit. She watched as Eddie continues.
"We're Team Calamity, and we have come to cancel invasion. Three months ago, Anne told me everything about what happened here, then she told me about Marcy. I want her back as much as they do. We must join forces and together with humans and amphibians, and cartoon characters are gonna win the war and kick that phoney king's butt!"
The crowd cheers with his eloquent speech. Marcy felt so happy that his brother is willing to do whatever it takes to save her. Anne and Sasha both smiling that they weren't even afraid enough since then. Once they're done cheering, Sasha hands the Plantars some sacks to them that she's been saving.
"Here, go find youselves a nice cave to inhabit." said Sasha when Hop Pop picks out an old toothbrush from his sack.
"(sighs) I sure am going to miss the electric toothbrush." Hop Pop sighed sadly.
"Cheer up, Hop Pop! Maybe we can find a cave with some soft lichen to sleep on!" Sprig assured to his grandfather as the three frogs walking off to their new room. Anne and the others are staying with Sasha before she coughs.
"(coughs) So, about what happened before we got zapped to Earth." said Anne when she was wondering about what happened from last time, but Sasha steps in.
"Listen. My days of toxic manipulation are over. And with Amphibia on fire and Marcy in trouble, I figured we could be on the same side for a change." said Sasha.
"Totally! We'll work out our own baggage later." Anne shakes her hand with Sasha until her helmet suddenly closes, causing Anne giggles. "What's with the hat?"
"Ah ha! The helmet of authority. Apparently Wartwood busts this out during wartimes so everyone knows who's in charge. Which reminds me..." Sasha thinks of something and so, she removes her helmet from her head and hands it over to her.
"WHA?!" Anne looked shocked.
"Huh?!" Her friends were surprised.
"Wartwood has only been able to hold out this long because they were waiting for you, Anne. You stood up for them. You protected them. It's time for you to lead them." said Sasha.
"I don't know. Amphibia's changed a lot since I've been gone. Should I really be the one doing this?" Anne looked nervous before Sasha shouted.
"All in favor of Anne Boonchuy as your new leader!"
The entire residents starts cheering and chanting for Anne's name as the Thai girl takes the helmet.
"Oh, wow! This is a huge honor! Also, a lot of pressure!" said Anne, but everyone cheers loudly, causing her to grew anxious. "Yeah, that's actually not helping."
"Congratulations, kiddo! Ahyuck!" said Goofy.
"Looks like you're popular than me! Ha ha!" Mickey laughs.
"We are so proud of you, Anne." said Minnie.
"Thanks, guys." Anne chuckled, nervously.
While crowds keep cheering Kettle looks around curious like how many are there, but suddenly when she spotted something or someone that there was a newt. A young newt who has same ages as Sprig, but has blue skins, with blonde hair and wears green shirt and brown pants.
He was with the family known as the Lily. There was a frog girl named Skye, next to her parents and a baby pollywog that was held by a mother. Kettle gasp as she couldn't believe what she is seeing. Could this be true when she realize that it was him?
"Alex?"
The boy turn his head as heard someone calling his name until he gasps with eyes wide open.
"Kettle?!"
"ALEX!" Kettle jumps off, getting Eddie and Bailey attention when they sees her running off towards the boy.
"Kettle!" He looked smiling and surprised until she jumps into him as he fell backwards and hugging her. "Is it really you?!"
"I never thought I see you again!" Kettle cried happily with tears coming out before hugging him tight.
"I am so happy to see you too!" Alex smiles with small tears coming out and hugs her back.
Eddie and Bailey went approached very close as the crowd looked awe softly at them. Marcy approaches next to them when she smiles and so happy to see two kids reuniting together. The Lily family smiles warmly at both kids. Anne is picking up the puzzle next to Sasha.
"Wait, is that…" Anne puzzled.
"That's Alex, Kettle's adoptive brother. Cousin Oak brought him and the rest of the survivors here after they escape from Newtopia." Sasha explains.
"No way."
As both kids let, he looks at his adoptive little sister's eyes with tears flowing.
"I thought I lost you." said Alex softly.
"I was, but Olivia helped me escape to Earth. Eddie found me and took me in." Kettle explains as she turns her head at the two human teens when walks closer.
"Hello." Bailey greeted.
"Huh? Who are you?" Alex asked as he never seen another kind like Sasha.
"I'm Eddie and this is my girlfriend, Bailey. Marcy is my sister." Eddie introduce himself and his girlfriend to him.
"Wait, Marcy?" Alex repeatedly.
"Yes, they took me in and they helped me get back home to you." replied Kettle after standing up on to her feet.
Alex, an eleven year old boy looks up at the humans, raising his eyes and looked a bit bewildered when two teens knelt down to their knees, smiling.
"You must be Alex." said Eddie.
"Uh-huh." Alex nodded, a little nervous.
"I am so sorry about your parents. Your sister told me everything about you and we'll do anything to help you get your parents back."
Kettle take his brother's hand very gently, telling him that it's okay. Once he touches Bailey's hand, he suddenly launches into her and hugging her so tight, causing her a bit surprised when react fast.
"Thank you so much for keeping her safe. I've looked everywhere for her, but I couldn't find her. I have no idea how much it hurts me so much." Alex thanked him as he looked a bit scared for nearly losing his sister.
"Hey, it's okay. It's okay." Bailey hugged him back, very gently. "We did everything we can to bring her back home. She's home now."
Marcy clenched her heart so gently and watching them all four of them hugging together. She kinda wish she would be here to see this if it weren't for this thing as she could remember. As Anne, Sasha, and the others were watching from the distance, they're feeling happy that two siblings are reunited.
"(sighs) I just love the reunion." Minnie sighed, when smiling.
"It sure was." Goofy agrees.
"Say, um, is it a good place to take a tour around here?" Mickey asked.
"Sure do, but first, I like to show you something. Come on." Sasha went ahead to her room and so were the others.
Later on, the team have entered Sasha's main chamber where strategic battle maps that hanged on the wall and an old statue of herself from the Toad Tower. Weapons and battle armors are in stacks, food and supplies that are in the crate, and map laid on the central table with chairs. Jiminy hops off from Mickey's shoulder to the table.
"So, what's the situation is going on here, if I may?" Jiminy asked just as Sasha set the broken collar down at the table that she collected from the centipede.
"I'm sure you've seen the mind control collars that Andrias has been using to control the local wildlife." Sasha explains about the mind controlled collar.
"Wait, controlling the wildlife?! That's against Mother's Nature!" Daisy exclaims.
"Well, it turns out he's making them here." Sasha points on the map to the location where they're being made.
"How do these things even work?" Anne asked.
"It utilizes some kind of weird mushroom enzyme."
"Gee, I wonder where I heard that before." said Sprig sarcastically as he, Anne, and Polly laid their eyes on Hop Pop when giving him a stern look while others looked confused.
"I turned you into zombies ONE TIME!" Hop Pop denies it.
"Wait, you turned them into zombies?!" Dipper raised his eyebrows.
"Well, technically not just us, but some weirdo has turned everyone into zombies except for Hop Pop." Anne explains.
"Dude, this is wrong. All of this, it doesn't seem right." said Wendy, feeling uncomfortable with this.
"Dipper and I faced some zombies once after he summoned like he wasn't supposed to." Mabel rolled her eyes on her twin brother.
"Hey, I said I was sorry." replied Dipper.
"Well, I don't usually remember turning everyone into zombies that looks like me. It's hard to remember." Doofenshmirtz scratches his head.
"That's probably because it's a scary tale." Candace crosses her arms.
"I don't remember about being turn into a zombie." Goofy scratches his head with his finger.
"Can we please stop with the zombies and get on with the situation?" Timon looks feel anxious about the situation. "Sorry, I just have that nightmare how we've been through."
"Okay? Sasha, continue." said Anne as the girl nodded.
"The mission is simple. Destroy the factory. If we're successful, it'll make a big dent in Andrias' army." said Sasha.
"All right. Let's do it!"
"Great! I'll call us a taxi app!" Polly holds out Anne's phone.
"Polly, that's not gonna work."
"She's right, you know. We're not on Earth anymore." Phineas agrees, then Genie magically transforms into a commander for impression.
"You're not in Kansas anymore. You are on Amphibia, ladies and gentlemen. It is our job to look after each other." said Genie with his impression.
"Ugh, fine! I guess we'll walk!" Polly groans.
"Anyone got any hand sanitizer? I never noticed how dirty Amphibia was." Hop Pop wonders by showing his hands that are really dirty.
"Yeesh! You stink!" Timon looked cringed and disgusted.
"Sorry." Pumbaa apologize as he thought.
"No, not you Pumbaa. His hands!"
"Oh, right."
"Don't worry, HP! I got you!" Sprig gave some hand sanitizer to Hop Pop. Sasha looked surprise, knowing that spending time on Earth made the Plantars life in Amphibia a bit hard. Just like how she and her friends felt that way.
"Wow. Earth has made you three soft. Anyway, get some sleep, everyone. We leave at dawn!" said Sasha.
"Ma'am, yes ma'am!" Both Donald and Goofy gave her a salute.
"You got it!" said Hop Pop.
"See you in the morning!" Sprig added.
"Aye, aye, captain!" Polly added as well.
"Dream of bed bugs tonight!" said Pumbaa.
When everyone left from the command chambers, Grime came in just to see Anne when she salutes to the toad.
"Hey Grime!" Anne greeted.
"Welcome, Anne..." Grime noticed that Anne carries the helmet. "I mean... uh... bu... Commander."
"I know! Weird, right?"
Once Anne has left, all that's left was Sasha and Grime before he started to complaints.
"You gave Anne the helmet?!" Grime exclaims.
"Yeah. If Anne is here, I can't be in charge. It's just too complicated." said Sasha.
"But... But she's never led an army. And she has no idea how much Amphibia has changed or what we're up against!"
"I said it's COMPLICATED!"
Grime wanted to protest, but seeing her angry won't solve his problems.
"Fine! Just would have been nice to know that I was demoted. Again!" Grime left the room.
Sasha sighs with relief. While she was looking at the map, Marcy peeked to the room and couldn't help, but felt guilty since that happened. What matters now that Sasha couldn't see her or hear her. She really wanted to apologize to her, but couldn't because she was afraid if she never forgives her.
"I hope you forgive me, Sasha. I am so sorry." said Marcy, sadly before she left the chamber.
Later that evening far away from Wartwood, it was all a bit quiet with a wind blew a tumbleweed until a footstep approaches as it turns out that it was Maleficent who has managed to walk through the portal along with Pete that changes his outfit.
The rest of the council was told to stay put until she comes back. However, she looks around the environment that it was once stood, but now was nearly ruin until she looks up to the sky and sees the flying castle.
"So, this must be the king's castle." Maleficent guessed.
"Up there?" Pete looks up too.
"Yes, that must be his fortress."
"So, uh, what now?"
"As far as I'm concerned, he is far more threat like any other villains who wished to rule the universe. He has built his entire army turns everything into a wasteland." said Maleficent.
"Hope he wasn't expect to welcome us here." Pete commented.
"Then why not visit up there? We wanted him to think he'll be helping us and soon the box will be ours." Maleficent suggested that idea.
"Are you sure this a good idea? Working with him until we double crossed him?" Pete looks a bit uncertain.
"Who says anything about working with him?" She turns around and walk to an opposite direction, leaving Pete confused.
"Hmph! I've got bad feelings if something's fishy is going on here." Pete grunted before he went to followed her. Nobody knew who or what the king was working for.
The next morning, the team was outside of the Plantars house to be ready for the mission. Sasha had prepared her most trusted team with Wally, Mrs. Croaker, and Loggle while Frobo and the Plantars stood next to them by waiting the orders.
Just then, Eddie and the Sensational Six came outside after having their discussion with Sasha that the rest of the team will be staying behind to have a tour around their secret basement and gets to known with the frogs. Then Marcy phases through the door as the spirit girl approaches next to him.
"Hey, Sash. I've already told Bailey to stay here and watch the kids." said Eddie.
"Good. I can see your friends were having their good time here." replied Sasha.
"Yeah, it was our first visit. Well, I mean for most of us."
"Thanks for having us tagging along and I'm looking forward to work with you." said Mickey.
"You got any weapons?" Sasha asked.
"Sure do. We got 'em with us, just in case. A-hyuck!" replied Goofy.
"Hmm, I didn't expect for you guys to wear that outfit from the videogame that we used to play with." Sasha noticed this.
"Well, it was our battle outfit. I made one myself." said Daisy.
Sasha turns and see Anne standing on top of a rock while wearing a helmet.
"Ok, guys..." Her words cut off when the helmet closes on her until she fixes it. "Heh. Whoops. Let's go show Andrias what we're made of!"
"Yeah!" Donald agrees.
"Which way, Commander?" Mrs. Coaker asked.
"Oh! Uh... No idea." Anne was lost for a moment.
"Oh! Didn't you take a picture of the map?" said Sprig.
"Shoot! Dang it! I'll go back and grab it." Anne was about to rush, but Sasha beat her to it.
"No need! Here's the map, Anne. With all the important parts labeled!" Sasha takes the map out and hands over to Anne.
"Oh! Thanks, Sash! But are you sure you shouldn't be leading this?"
"No way! You should be in charge. Not me."
"Ugh…" Anne groaned.
"Come on, Anne! You can do this! You steered us from Earth all the way back to Amphibia, didn't you? Just follow your Anne-tuition!" Sprig cheers her up.
"Anne-tuition. Cute. Ok, then. Here goes nothing!"
We cut to a montage where a group traveling across the map, led by Anne with only their heads appearances like emoji. First, Anne tries to lead everyone across a river by drinking the water, but Sasha stops her for only to point out they are close to a liquid waste dump, which spews its waste on them.
Later on, the Plantars are watching a TV show on Anne's phone, but fail to realize that they walked right into quicksand. Anne tries to save them, but gets stuck herself. Sasha, Eddie, and the rest of the team tries to rescue them, but they were ambushed by Frobots to attack when panicked.
Then the team travels on when Anne tries to scout some distant Frobots with her telescope, only to realize she was looking through the wrong way as giant rollover beetle getting closer than they realized, starting to run away as they screaming together. When it came at last, the team have survived all of their misadventures and arrives at their destination.
"There's the factory." said Hop Pop when they see the factory that is surrounded by a deep trench lined with pointed rocks at the bottom.
"How do we get across, Anne?" Loggle asked.
"Yeah! What's your Anne-tuition telling you?" Wally added.
"Hmmm... Well..." Anne begins to think about her strategies while Sasha takes out her grappling hook until she had an idea by showing the paper to them. "How about we build a bridge? Out of ourselves! I saw it in a movie once. All these tiny mice worked together to steal some oregano from a French restaurant."
"Anne, those were rats. There's no way that we could build a bridge out of ourselves." said Eddie.
"How so?" Mrs. Croaker asked.
"According to this, it's way too dangerous to have a length of ourselves."
"Why can't Genie come with us?" Donald asked skeptically, but the other frogs looked confused that they couldn't understand him.
"What did he say?" Wally asked.
"I have no idea." replied Loggle.
"Maybe he likes to look around the basement and get to know people?" Anne shrugged.
"Uh... You heard the Commander, everyone! Hop to it!" Sasha ordered.
"Aw, phooey. That would've been better." Donald complains a bit.
Eddie, the toons, and their amphibian friends just hop on top of one another, by forming a wobbly chain. Marcy has already magically transformed into a green butterfly while sitting on a rock, with a little bit shock and awe.
"Are you sure this a good idea?" Daisy asked, when looking concern.
"I highly doubt that this is a very, very bad idea." replied Eddie as he grunt since he's been carrying Goofy on his shoulders and the only person that's been still standing.
"S-so heavy!" Goofy grunted with Loggle on his shoulder.
"Okay, now what?" Mickey asked.
"All right, everyone! Now lean forward into the canyon!" Anne ordered as they march towards the canyon.
"Nice! Did you measure the width of the canyon?" Sasha asked.
"No, why?"
Then they scream so loud with Goofy hollers as they all nearly fall down the canyon to the sharp rocks below, but luckily Sprig hangs on to a branch.
"HELP!" Minnie calls out for help.
"DO SOMETHING!" Daisy yells out.
"I TOLD YOU THIS IS A BAD IDEA!" Eddie shouted.
"Guys!" Sasha used her grappling hook to fire across the canyon until it reaches to the bar from the factory while she grabs Anne. "Hang on."
Then they swing down across the canyon to rescue their friends by lends an arm to Sprig.
"Grab on."
He grabs her hands with his tongue with a mighty yank when Sasha pulls everyone up to the other side and they all let go while landing. The green butterfly flew over the canyon and then magically transform into her spirit self with green glowing. Sasha puts away her grappling hook and check to see if everyone's okay.
"Is everyone okay?" Sasha asked.
"Y-yeah…I-I guess so…" replied Mickey, shakenly.
"Next time, we should ask Genie for joining us." Eddie commented as he dusted off his jacket.
"Anyone else think this is going poorly?" Wally asked.
"We're usually a bit more coordinated than this." said Loggle.
"I think it's clear by now I shouldn't be leading this expedition." Anne suggested. "Sasha, will you please just take command and tell us what to do?"
"No! You need to be in charge!" Sasha cried.
"What? What do you mean? I'm drowning out here, dude! Do you want me to fail? (gasps) Is that what this is? Some kind of new manipulation?"
"No! I just... I..."
"We're also usually a lot quieter than this." said Wally.
Then suddenly, the factory started spewing pink flames and then the doors open, revealing that there was a two pink-purple eyes until it slithers out from the factory and crawls all over as it turns out to be a giant snake with a mind control collar with armor plates on its coil before it hiss at them.
"AAAHHH!" Everyone screams as they take cover.
"That's a huge snake!" Minnie exclaims.
"Why does it have to be snakes?!" Donald looked frantic.
"I know how that feels." said Anne.
"So what do we do?" Daisy asked when looking worried.
"Everyone! Attack!"
"What kind of attack?" Loggle asked.
"Just whatever feels right!"
Then the frogs attack as they charged towards the snake, but easily swept aside by the snake. Eddie draw out his katana sword that he just brought with him before he left from Earth while Mickey and his friends summons their own weapons.
"Come on!" Mickey yells as they all charged towards the snake.
Goofy throws his shield like a frisbee while Donald uses his magic staff to unleash fire spell towards the snake. Minnie uses her light magic spell while Daisy hits the snake with her spear. None of the attack had effected to the snake and then attacks towards them, but they quickly dodged.
Pluto angrily barks at the snake before it roars at back him, only for Mickey to grab his dog and then dodged by the bite. Eddie and Anne rushes in with her racket as they both jumped to strike, but they gets swiped aside too and then fell. Suddenly, they heard Hop Pop's screaming.
"AAAAAHHHHH!"
"What happened?!" Anne perks up, but then realized that Hop Pop has a grass stain on his pants much to her annoyance.
"I got a grass stain on my pants!" Hop Pop exclaims.
"Oh! I have Mrs. B's stain remover pen." said Sprig, holding the stain remover.
"Soak it in water first!" Polly ushered.
All of sudden, the snake chomps on the Plantars as Anne reacts fast. Then it chomps on Loggle and Mrs. Croaker before it swallowed them all up. Sasha, Eddie, and the toons were all shocked at the time like this.
"IT ATE THEM!" Goofy shouted.
"NO!" Anne yells before gave her a quick glance. "Sasha, what do we do?"
"Uh, you're in charge." Sasha looks nervous when still hesitant on taking command.. "Whatever you think is best. You've got this!"
"No, she doesn't! She's not capable of taking command!" said Eddie.
"Yes, she can!"
"But I don't know what I'm doing." Anne takes the helmet off from her head and hands it to Sasha. "Please, just take over!"
"I... I can't!" Sasha pushes the helmet back to her.
"Why not?"
"Because the last time I was in charge, I ruined our friendship!"
Anne is stunned into silence. Behind her, the snake eats Wally as the frog screams (Wilhelm scream). Mickey and his friends were all too stunned about her lashing out at Anne. Marcy gasp when she remembers what happened back in Newtopia.
"What? What are you talking about?" Eddie stunned when confused, but then sees Sasha tearing as she started to explain her confession.
"It was a day on Anne's birthday, I made her to ditch school just to have fun until Marcy send us a text after she discovered the music box, then we dared her to steal the box without paying and then it brought us here to Amphibia on purpose! For over five months, I've tried to control our friendship when trying to take over Newtopia, but I only made worse when I made Anne ended our friendship! Marcy is hurt because of me!" Sasha finishes her sentence when tearing.
Both Anne and Eddie can now finally understand why Sasha tried to give up her leadership to Anne, not just because of their friendship was ruined, but because of her toxic relationship. She looks down at her reflection on the helmet until she made a newly determined look, she throws the helmet to the ground and rushes to the snake.
"Anne?" Eddie looks when react fast.
"Wha.. What are you doing?" Sasha stammered.
"Putting my faith in the real Commander!" Anne leaps into the air and allows herself to get eaten by the giant snake, causing her friends to react fast with Donald fainted.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Eddie shocked.
"WHAT THE HECK, BOONCHUY?!" Sasha yells.
Anne slides down inside of the snake's throat to rejoin with her amphibian friends that were already eaten alive.
"Great! Now how will we get out?" Mrs. Croaker asked, feeling anxious.
Sasha and Eddie couldn't believe that Anne just pull the stunt and get herself eaten by that snake. All that's left for the eight of them still standing just as the snake slithers off from the factory.
"So, you got any bright ideas?" Eddie asked.
Without answering the question, she puts the helmet back on and rush towards the snake until she jumps right into its mouth, leaving the rest looking shocked when she managed to open its jaw and sees Anne and the others down there.
"Frogs of the Resistance, execute maneuver 3!" Sasha hollers with only three of them nodded.
"Maneuver what?" Hop Pop puzzled, but they locked each other's arms first and so were Anne and the Plantars.
"Now inflate!"
The frogs inflate their vocal sacs, making the snake choke until it spits everyone out to the ground. Eddie, Mickey, and his friends were shocked that they're okay.
"Guys! You're alright!" Eddie looked relief.
"Oh, thank goodness!" Daisy felt relief while Donald slowly perks up.
"Sasha! You did it!" Anne looked happy that Sasha commands them.
"Not yet. Wally! Croaker! Loggle! Mirror punch!" Sasha ordered.
Loggle picks up both Mrs. Croaker and Wally, then throws them into the air until they both punches the snake's mind-control collar from opposite sides and then collar breaks from its neck with eyes colored switch from purple to yellow. The snake is now freed and then slithers away from everyone before they start cheering.
"Hot dog!" Mickey cheers.
"Woof!" Pluto happily barks.
"Wow! You've gone and done it!" Eddie smiles.
"What's the plan, now?" Mrs. Croaker asked before they turn their heads at Anne.
"Don't look at me! You're wearing the helmet." said Anne.
"So, what are your orders, Commander?" Goofy asked.
"Loggle, Mickey, Doanld, and Goofy, you're on bridge duty. Minnie, Daisy, Croaker, and Wally are lookouts. Eddie, Anne, Plantars, and Pluto, you know what do with these." Sasha hands out some boomshrooms to the others.
"What's this?" Eddie asked.
"They're boomshrooms, like a mushroom bomb." Anne explains.
"Oh, okay."
"Well, shall we?" Daisy asked.
"Then what are we waiting for?" Mickey smiles.
"All right, let's mess this place up!" said Sasha.
Loggle, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy start building the bridges that is made out of woods, while Wally and Mrs. Croaker instruct the others to plant the boomshrooms around the factory. Pluto set the boomshrooms down to ground with Minnie and Daisy planted gently. Marcy watches them from the distance, feeling that glad that everything all worked out.
"Time to bail!" Marcy magically turns into green butterfly and flew off.
Working together, the boomshrooms are all put in place and then the team rushes over the Loggle's bridge that looked so fancy, with Donald raises his staff up to the sky until the lightning strikes just as the factory explodes.
Later on, Anne, Sasha, and the rest of the team are walking back to the base after a great success that the factory is destroyed, but it's not over yet when there's more task to be done. Anne and Sasha have already forgive each other after they've been through this together.
"C'mon, Anne. Take the helmet back." Sasha insists.
"No way! You're clearly the better commander." Anne brushes off.
"But after everything I did to you, I don't deserve it."
"Sasha. Not too long ago, you would have fought to keep the helmet. The fact you don't want it now proves you changed."
"Yeah, maybe."
"All in favor as Sasha Waybright as your new leader?" Anne raises Sasha's hand.
"Oh yes!" Mrs. Croaker agrees.
"Oh frog! Please, Sasha!" Wally pleaded.
"We need you!" Loggle begged for her.
"You know, for once. I think it would be fair for you to lead the Resistance. Anne leads the humanity and the toons to stood up against Andrias. If it weren't for her, I would never know what happened to Marcy. Let's all bygones be bygones and work together." said Eddie.
"Yeah, and I can see how you two worked out pretty well. A-hyuck!" Goofy agrees causing Sasha to blushes before she puts the helmet back on.
"Listen, Anne. Even though I'm calling the shots, I want you to know this is a partnership." said Sasha holds out her hand for a handshake.
Anne obliges, then with a squeal of delight as the Thai girl pulls Sasha in for a hug, for which she returns for her hug. For the very first time in a long time, Sasha has felt so happiness and her old bossy ways are no more. They both let go of their hugs before she turns and smiles at them.
" All right, you frogs. Back to base." Sasha gives the orders.
"Ma'am, yes ma'am!" All three frogs salutes and walk alongside with her.
Anne smiles while walking alongside with the Plantars, The Sensational Six, and Eddie with the green butterfly landed on his left shoulder for a little joyride.
"Gosh, it has been a long time since I have travel other worlds with you guys." said Mickey.
"Me too, Mickey. It's like we're strolling through the woods in fairytale." replied Minnie.
"Like Jack and the Beanstalk." Goofy added.
"I remember when I had experience with the giant." said Donald.
"I wonder how many worlds that were gonna save." Daisy wondered.
"Say um, if I do remember after Kingdom Hearts, how did most of the worlds were being separated again?" Eddie asked just as Mickey explains to them while Anne seems to enjoy, but the Plantars were extremely worn out.
"Looks like this is our new life now, guys." said Anne.
"House guest to Resistance grunt is a harsh transition." replied Hop Pop.
"Yup." Polly agrees.
"You can say that again." Sprig added.
"Anne, did you lose a shoe?" Hop Pop asked just as he noticed that her right purple shoe was missing.
"Oh! You've got to be kidding me!" Anne exclaims.
"Don't worry. Pluto will find it for you. Right, Pluto?" Mickey wonders if he could help.
"Woof, woof!" Pluto barks as he went off to sniff the scent to retrieve it. Then we looked up to the sky where Newtopia castle still flying in the air from the distance.
Meanwhile inside of Andrias' office, the king overlooked on the huge monitor screens next to holographic globe where it quickly scans on anyone including the Toons and superheroes as he still believes that they're all threats to his conquest.
"Interesting. Not only the humans that are living on Earth, but some animals and odd creatures. The only question remain is how many numbers are there?" King Andrias wondered that how many lives are there, then suddenly the green flame emerges causing him to turn attention and react fast. "What the- Who's there!"
Just then, two figures comes out when it reveals that both Maleficent and Pete had came to confront with Andrias, face to face. No one would dare to make any challenge.
"Hey, now. That's no way to treat some tourist here." said Pete.
"Who are you?! How did you get here?!" King Andrias demands their question.
"Calm yourself, your majesty. I have heard great deals about you and your eagerness to rule Earth." replied Maleficent, calmly. He doesn't looked to convinced.
"What do you want?"
"I have come to bestowed upon the prophecy of… the three stars."
"Three stars?" Andrias started to think as he recalled about what three stars she was talking about until he comes to realize something. "Wait, the three stars you are talking about, what do you know about the prophecy?"
"If I were, where would Anne be when she returns?"
