The following chapter for the event will featured some characters and some extra scenes. People starting to wonder why Bog and his cronies never returns in season 3, but instead why no adding him to this story! As always, please enjoy.

Chapter 54: Grime's Pupil

During that time, Anne and her team have made it back to their headquarters after meeting with Mother Olm. As they got back from their mission, they were a bit quite surprised that everyone in the brief room were watching the best animated movie with Bailey using her phone to insert Frobo.

Once the movie is over, everyone resumes their daily while Anne and Sasha are in the command center by discussing what Mother Olm said about the prophecy in order to get the box and Marcy back from Andrias. All they need is to find a lot more recruits.

"According to Mother Olm in order to defeat Andrias we need to get to that music box." said Anne.

"Then we're going to need some allies and I know just who to recruit first." Sasha slaps a sticker on the map of Amphibia. The green is for resistance and red is for Andrias. "Grime's sister, Beatrix built a secrets army of toads. I already asked her to meet with us and she's on her way."

"But do you think she'll go for it? I've noticed frogs and toads don't get along." Anne looks concerns about this after what happened last time.

"That's why I sent Grime and Sprig to be the welcome wagon. She'll see firsthand that frogs and toads can work together." replied Sasha.

"But Grime and Sprig can't work together. And ever since Sprig beat Grime in Newtopia, things have been really tense between them."

"Oh, really?"

That's when they've come to realize that it's good to be true or even worse. The girls runs out from the room as they sped past Phineas and his friends that were practicing their skills until they turn their heads where Anne and Sasha runs off from all of sudden.

"What's that all about?" Phineas asked.

"I have no idea." replied Buford.

"Hey, where's Perry?"

Meanwhile from the outside of the base, it's only just Sprig and Grime as they are both waiting for the arrival of the leader from the west. They were both standing and doing nothing, well they kinda have rough history from the past.

"So, is your sister cool, or does being a jerk run in the family?" Sprig asked when insulting him.

"We do share a hatred for the shrill sound of whiny frog children. You should leave." replied Grime.

"Nope, Sasha asked me to be here, and she's in charge. I mean, aren't you just a foot soldier now?"

"ALRIGHT! I've heard enough out of you, you little-"

His words were cut off when Anne and Sasha have made it just in time as they approached to them.

"Hey, guys!" Sasha panted. "Okay, change of plans."

But it was too late to tell them when something was blowing towards them until there was a huge beetle landed right near the Plantars' house and then Beatrix, Lord of the West Tower and Grime's sister that has the same scar right in her eye, pop's out and yells when she jumps right at him.

"Oh, boy." Grime gets tackled by Beatrix and wrestling. "Get off. Get off!"

"What's the matter, Grimothy? All toads love a good wrestle. Or did hanging out with these frogs make you soft." said Beatrix when playing with Grime's head until she stops and looks at Sasha. "But seriously, Sasha, what do you want?"

"Anne. Drumroll, please." She told Anne to do the drumroll when plays the drumroll app from her phone. "As commander of the Wartwood Resistance, I propose you join our frog army. And together, we take down Andrias!"

By responding her, Beatrix stands up after letting her brother go to make him breathe and walk towards her. She knew her well since Grime's proposal to rebelled against the newt king, but unfortunately for them that their plan has failed.

"Toads serving in a frog army? It doesn't make any sense? I mean last time I checked, frogs couldn't even fight." said Beatrix.

"Can't fight, eh?" Sprig approached to her when he thinks she is too scared to fight.

"Shh!" Grimes shushing him much to his dismay. "No... NOO!"

"If we can't fight, then how'd I beat Grime in a one-on-one duel?"

"OU WHAT?! That only proves my point. Living with frogs has made my brother laughably weak." Beatrix plays with Grime's head when she mockingly laughs. "Thanks for wasting my time."

When she's about to head back to the beetle, but Grime looks pretty mad that his sister is leaving them without any support.

"Not so fast!" said Grime

He jumps up to stop her from leaving, then yells pounded himself in the chest, vocalizes with his mouth, then punches a toad soldier to remove its sword and makes a circle around her with it until he anchors the sword to it.

"Uuh, what is happening right now?" Sasha looked puzzled.

"He has invoked the sacred law of toad challenge." The Toad soldier just to retrieves the sword, causing Grime to briefly lose his balance.

"(sighs) And I am honor-bound to accepted it. State your terms, brother." said Beatrix.

"Standard one-on-one arena combat. Loser's army joins the winner's." replied Grime.

"Deal, but it won't be you who I fight."

"Eehh... what?"

"Wartime law says I may choose any of your allies to fight in your stead."

"What?" Anne and Sasha were bewildered.

"And I choose…" Beatrix turns and stretches out her hands to choose which allies shall she picks. "Eenie…meenie…minie…FROG!"

"You WHAAAAAT?!" Grime was shocked.

"If this little guy wins, we'll join your army, but if I win, you have to join OUR army as cannon fodder!" Beatrix laughs as she goes to the big beetle along with her two soldiers. "I'll return at dawn for our battle. Later, soon-to-be losers!"

Beatrix and her soldiers have left with their big beetle to fly away from them as they left the area. Anne and Sasha end up dramatized, Grime nervous and Sprig indifferent. Just then, Dr. Doofenshmirtz just got back after collecting some scraps of Frobots.

"I'm back. I've brought everything we need that you ask me to do." said Heinz as he looks around, noticed something that's been missing. "Did I miss something?"

"Guess I should've brushed up on toad law." Grime nervously cackles.

"You just bet the whole rebellion ON A CAGE MATCH?!" Sasha scolded him.

"And put Sprig's life down as collateral?!" Anne added.

"Meh. I'm pretty sure I can take her." Sprig shrugged.

"WHAT?!" All three of them were shocked.

"I'm sorry. What now?" Doofenshmirtz looked confused.

"I beat Grime and I'll beat her too." Sprig points at the Toad.

"You barely beat me amidst a chaotic siege. Arena matches are a different beast." Grime crosses his arms, but Sasha puts her left hand on his right shoulder.

"Grime, you were a gladiator. Can you show Sprig the ropes?" Sasha asked.

"I don't need fighting lessons from Grime! He can't even stop Beatrix from giving him nuggies!" Sprig argues.

"Fine with me! Have fun batting the toughest toad in Amphibia!" said Grimes, but Sasha intervenes.

"ENOUGH! I'm making a decree." said Sasha just as Anne takes out a pencil and a paper, then writes down what she is going to dictate. "I hereby order Grime and Sprig to go spend the night training. If they deicde to pout like babies instead, they'll be banished... FOREVER! Or at least until the war starts."

"Tough but fair. Your co-signature." Anne passes the pencil and shows her the paper to Sasha when she sign the signature and then shows the paper to them. "It's official! Happy training, you two."

"Boooooooo!" Grime complains.

"This is so unfair." Sprig retorts as he and his arch-rival went off to the woods.

That only leaves three of the humans, standing outside when it's all too quiet until one of them breaks the silence.

"Wanna go get some spa?" Sasha asked.

"You know it!" replied Anne as they both rushed back inside, leaving Doofenshmirtz confused.

"I am so confused." He said.

When the coast is clear, Perry comes out and quietly runs off to the wood to investigate according to his top secret mission to find out what the newt king is up to. Perry uses the scanner to pick up something in case any enemies shows up, but no sign of them. It's up to him on his solo mission as he left the area.

Later on, it was getting close to that evening when Sprig and Grime were both walking in the woods as they keep groaning at the same time. They don't like each other ever since the taxes, the tower incidents, and now the battle back in Newtopia. As they just groaned repeatedly until they just snapped.

"Alright, I don't like you and you don't like me, but can we please try to let bygones be bygones?!" Grime demands to let it go, but Sprig refused.

"NOPE! You've extorted my town for years, imprisoned us when we fought back, and tried to kill my Hop Pop!" Sprig argues.

"Oh yeah?! Well you haven't exactly been great to me either! I know it was you who put poison ivy on my codpiece."

"YOU TRIED TO KILL MY HOP POP!"

"HE WAS A POLITICAL LIALABILITY!"

"(sighs) Okay. This is getting old." Sprig sighed when he climbs on top of Grime. "Guess you might as well teach me your "special" toad tactics."

"We actually do call them special toad tactics, so sarcasm denied." replied Grime.

"Dang it!"

So the training starts now, however things don't do well for Sprig. First Grimes lifted two buckets of water on a stick as he lifts successfully thanks to his strength, but Sprig tried to lift the buckets on a stick, but then fell as the water spills on him. Grime spits his tongue to shatter the rock into pieces. Sprig spits his tongue too to shattered the rocks, but pulls towards to the rock and hits it.

Now, Grime was teaching him how to punch, but Sprig punches at the chest poorly when his hand was injured, making Grime shook his head before showing him his fist just as Sprig repeats and then Grime punches him into the tree upside down.

"I said tense your abs. Tense them!" Grime lectured him.

"(groans) This isn't working." Sprig groans.

"You think? Your small frog body is too frail for traditional toad conditioning." Grime retorts just as Sprig slide down from the tree.

"Then maybe I don't need to fight like a dumb toad." Sprig laments.

"Say "dumb toad" again." Grime warned him.

"Dumb toa-" His words cut off when he was knocked off from Grime's shoulder as he screams and lands with a thud. That was the last straw for him. "That's it! I'm outta here! I'll figure out how to beat Beatrix on my own!"

"No, you won't. And now it won't be my fault when you get maimed." Grime watches him leave before he sat down on the tree stump. It was all too quiet for a second until he yells out loud by causing a dead tree to fell with birds flew off. "HOW DID I LOOSE TO THAT BRAT?!"

Meanwhile, Perry is still on the run to search for the Frobots and still no sign of them. It's been hours since he went off on his own. As much as he doesn't want to worry his owners that he just left them, but it's the only to keep them safe under the Thai girl's care.

Then suddenly, he halt as he heard some bickering. He peeked by behind the tree as he overlooked and spot the light with smoke coming out. This must be the campout as he thought and decided to check it out if it's the enemies nearby.

By then after he rushed over and hid behinds the rock, he peeked out very quietly without getting caught until what shocking him that there were six villains confronting the toads soldiers. There's Maleficent, Pete, Jafar, Ursula, Hades, and Doctor Facilier.

Then he spotted that there were Frobots, but corrupted by the Heartless. Perry couldn't believe that the villains are in this world. The only question remain is how did they even get here? Could it be possible that his owners and their friends weren't the only ones? There is one thing for sure.

"Let's get one thing straight, you want us for your allegiance in exchange to be top ranked for the Toad Army?" Bog rephrased that question.

"Yes, it was all part of our plan to overthrow Andrias. Leave this threat to me and I'll see what I can do to negotiate." replied Maleficent.

"And how do I know that you're not bluffing?" Fens asked skeptically. "The last time we were promoted back to the Toad Tower and then the North Tower was destroyed."

"That's what the king would've wanted. Whoever controls the box, to control the entire universe."

"And what about Grime? When do I get a little payback?" Bog asked so eagerly.

"Patience, soldier. The clock is ticking until the time is right." said Jafar when using the sand of time like the clock is ticking.

"And you can have anything you want. Impress the lords and you'll be ranked as captain. No, no, better yet. You will be the new lord of the Toad Tower!" Hades added as he offered him.

"Hmm… I like the sound of that." Bog looks more interested.

"Then we got a deal! Shake!" Pete offered to shake hands, but instead the Toads just cross their arms. "Oh, sorry. Just a little, um…edgy."

"What if the king finds out that you betrayed him?" Fens asked.

"He won't know it yet and we are going to keep it that way." Doctor Facilier answered.

Perry has heard everything. Good thing he recorded on this device in case no one understands him. Luckily, he could send the message to his owners, but can't take the risk by revealing his identity to them.

When he was about to head back, but then out of nowhere when he bumps into something and looks up at one of the Heartless Frobot before he was picked up and tossed over where the Toads are as they were startled all of sudden. For the villains, on the other hand.

"Well, well, look who we have here." Hades spread his devilish grin.

Then Ursula stretches one of her tentacle to grabbed the platypus to prevent him from escaping.

"If it isn't our little spy." said Ursula.

"What is that thing?" Bog asked, like he has never seen this platypus.

"Isn't it obvious. We're not alone in this place." Maleficent answered as she once knew or thought it was. "Locked him up."

Ursula do as she was told and throws Perry into a cage and then locks up the cage door. He got up as he grab onto to the bar before giving them a glare.

"Aw, don't feel bad. We're just keeping you safe from uninvited guest like these guys." Pete mocked him. "Now don't even think about trying to escape. Got it?"

"Hey, you know he can't talk." said Hades.

"Can we eat him?" Fens asked.

"No, we want to know who send this spy to us. I doubt Grime was behind all this." said Bog.

"Then let's break him when we have the chance!" One of the Toad suggested.

"Not yet. We shall wait and see until the time is right." replied Maleficent while petting her pet raven on her staff.

Perry glares at any villains. It might take a while for him to escape without getting caught again. His only hope is his owners and their friends.

Back in the forest, Sprig was kicking and punching the big tree in the center while bouncing at the same time. He's going to prove Grime that he can beat his sister all by himself.

"Take that! And that! And this!" After he lands to the ground, but then he noticed something. "Huh?"

He spotted something that's coming out from the tree as he picks it up with his finger and then taste it that it was so good.

"Ah, it's honey." said Sprig, but then it happened when a creature burst out from the tree hole that look resembles with a hyena like bees when it growls at him before licking its lip. "Oh, crud! I'm smack-dab in the middle of a hybeena nest!"

Sprig realized that the tree is home to the hybeena's nest. With more coming out, he took step backwards up against the tree. If he wouldn't ditched Grime, he will be safe with him. That is until Grime just came out of nowhere by landing in front of him before punches two hybeenas.

"Grime?! How did you find me?" Sprig looked surprised.

"I heard your shrill, annoying yell from across the forest." replied Grime.

"Hurtful, but okay."

Then two more hybeenas attacks, but Grime grabbed one while Sprig hops on top of the other one when it runs off to get him off. However, Sprig whip out his slingshot to shoot stwo muds at two more scavengers bees and then jumps off to another and then shoots two more left at them until he jumps off of the hybeena before it explose behind him.

"That speed. It's actually impressive." Grime looks impressed.

But then out of nowhere, one of the hybeena stung him with its stinger on his head, then few more came in until Grime unleashes his rage as the former captain is immune to sting before he yells out by pushing them all off of him.

"Whoa!" Sprig astonished at Grime's wrath after he dodges and jumps to him.

With Sprig and Grime working together by punching and kicking the hybeenas until the predators have no other choice, but to retreat back into the hives by climbing inside of the tree until there is nothing else left.

"Whoo!" They both cheered as they sat down to relax.

"(sighs) Good battle." Grime sighed.

"Yeah. We whooped their little bee booties." said Sprig.

"I gotta say, you pack a lot of speed and accuracy in that tiny body." replied Grime.

"(chuckles) And you! You took that hit and gave it back to them twofold. How'd you do that?" Sprig asked.

"Toads are trained from a very young age to let rage give you strength. It funneled correctly, it can be a secret weapon!" Grime explain how toads were trained.

"Wow, that's pretty cool. Maybe I could learn a thing or two from you."

"Yes, and I think maybe I've been training you all wrong. Instead of molding you into the perfect toad, I should be focusing on your strengths as a frog. Speed, agility, being annoying."

"Well, Grimothy, wanna give this whole thing another shot?" Sprig offered a truce.

"Indeed." Grime accepted, but then pulls him closer to give him a warning. But call me Grimothy again and I'll eat you alive!"

"(chuckles) Wow." Sprig nervously chuckled.

And so, the training begins now, but this time Grime is training him better. Sprig was so eager to do better as he jumps left and right until he tighten his fist to punch with only Grime's hand. However, he shows him that this one was not enough the way he looked at where it was left.

Sprig climbs up to the tree, then he jumps off before he spit his tongue to grab onto the branch by spinning around repeatedly until he launches up in the air and then grabs the stick that hold two buckets of water by his tongue to lift it up high until he throws it and then shatters both buckets and the rock.

"Hachi machi!" Grime was impressed, but then gets super punched by Sprig and knocks over to the tree by shattering it.

"Grime! Are you okay?" Sprig gaspa, knowing that it was an accident. But instead, the toad perks up, smiling.

"Whoo!" Grime cheers. "You're ready."

The next morning, it is time for the battle in between little pink frog and the Lord of the West Toad. Residents of Wartwoods were all gathered at the center of the ruined town after the word was spread from yesterday.

While they were waiting, Sasha was wearing her cheer outfit, but patched up with "W" on the center as the commander was doing her cheer routine with Hop Pop, Fern, Sherrif Buck Leatherleaf, and the big frog, wearing their outfit as well.

"Kickin' butt And takin' names! We're the school They call Saint James!" Sasha chanted until she goes up in top while the other frogs carrying her.

"You didn't even rewrite the song?" Hop Pop grunted.

"I'm very busy, Hop Pop." Sasha chided, but then she fell down with them. "Whoa!"

After they fall down, then suddenly a long wooden crane reaches up and then just dragged the big frog while Bailey, Minnie, Daisy, Angel, and Isabella all showed up with their cheer outfit.

"If you want to do cheer practice, we can help each other out." said Bailey.

"Thanks, Bailey." Sasha thanking her.

"Good thing I earned cheerleading patch." said Isabella.

"That's sounds nice." Hop Pop groans.

Meanwhile at the ruined Grub & Gone, Sprig was getting ready for the match with Anne's help by putting him on a small sport armor like he was wearing for a football game with Grime standing next to him.

"Here you go, bud. Looking intimidating." said Anne.

"What do you think, big guy? Do I have a chance here?" Sprig asked.

"Realistically, no. But you frogs always surprise me." replied Grime as he patted him on the back and watches him walk outside, but then asking him again.

"So, like a 5% chance?"

Back from the outside, the crowds were sitting together as soon as Timon and Pumbaa are passing out some snacks and drinks on the cart like bags of popcorn and some bug juice.

"Popcorn! Get yourself some popcorn! It's practically free!" Timon announces as the crowds were cheering.

"Who wants bug juice!" Pumbaa added when he gave one to another.

"Oh! Oh! Coconut cake and coffee!" Stitch approached next to them.

"Uh, we're fresh out of coconut cake." said Timon.

"Naga."

That's when Genie poofs out of nowhere while dressing up in his suits and tie as announcer when he sits on the podium with the microphone.

"Ladies and gentlefrogs! Welcome to the World Wrestling Entertaining! Today, we have two competitors between a frog and a toad. Our first contestants is 11 year old boy who is willing to step up and faced against his worst enemy. Please put your hand together for… Sprig Plantar!" Genie announced.

The crowd cheers when Sprig runs up to the center. All of his friends including Ivy and Maddie as they too cheered for him while Eddie, Alex, and Lily are supporting him. The rest of Team Calamity were also cheering as well.

"Whoo! Go Sprig!" Ivy cheers.

"You got it, kiddo!" Eddie added.

"Go Sprig! Go!" Lily chimes.

"Woof!" Pluto howls.

"And now, for the second contestants has been traveled all the way from the Toad Tower of the West. The ruthless, the nefarious, the toad leader…Beatrix!" Genie announced out loud for the second when all Toads are cheering.

But the Wartwood residents were booing at Beatrix after she approached to the center with her Toad Soldiers. All frogs have grudged against the toads ever since the taxes under the acceptance of Mayor Toadstool and the blacksmith toad as he sit next to his adopted children.

"BOO!" Wally booed at Beatrix.

"You don't belong here!" Stumpy yells.

"Go back where you crawled off!" Loggle taunted.

"BOO! YOU STINK!" Mrs. Croaker shouted.

"And here I thought I was selfish." Mayor Toadstool commented.

This just in when a huge beetle sets down a caged dome in the center that was made out of metal so that there could be only a fair fight with Sprig and Beatrix inside of it. Then Sprig walk towards Beatrix with two of her axes she was carrying.

"Don't worry, little frog. I'll make this quick." said Beatrix.

"We'll see who's quick." replied Sprig, sternly.

As of cue, Polly bangs Frobo's head like ringing the bell when the match begins.

"Begin match!" Anne announces.

The fight begins when Beatrix strike her axes down at Sprig, but he dodges by sliding underneath her. Then she tries again, but he dodges again by jumping up and down and rolls over, and then dodges by dropping down from the axes.

"Can't dodge every hit!" Beatrix growls.

Sprig spit his tongue out to grab the bar of the cage as he leapt up and shoot his slingshots at her by some berries, but it has no effect on her.

"All that speed, but no strength behind it. This is why you don't stand a chance!" said Beatrix while Sprig swings around until he hits her. "What the-"

She looks up as Sprig bounce arounds the cage.

"I've never seen this before. From frog or toad."

Once Sprig swings through the hole of the cage thanks to his smaller size, he flies up in the sky and then he fell back in.

"That's because it's frog and toad!" Sprig corrects her by punching Beatrix repeatedly.

The resistance were all cheering that this kid got the moves. He spit his tongue out at the bar once again when spinning around the bar like he practice from last night. However, Beatrix is not having it.

"Impressive, but you forget one thing." said Beatrix when tossing her axes to the ground until Sprig launches towards to kick her, but then she just grabs him and then started to crush him "We toads love a good wrestle!"

The crowds were gasping, especially for Anne when she react fast.

"Sprig!" Anne cried.

"Looks like you've let everyone down, frog, surprising no one." Beatrix taunted just as the crowds gasp even more.

"Ladies and gentlefrogs, it appears that Beatrix is giving him a big bear hug! All hope is lost!" Genie announces while he react shockingly.

"Oh, no. It's mashindano all over again." Timon looked shocked.

"I can't look!" Pumbaa covered his eyes.

With no escaping from Beatrix's bear hug, all hope is lost for Sprig! There's no way that he could escape, but until he sees Grime staring at by hearing the toad's voice as he taught him from last night.

"Let rage give you strength. If you funnel it correctly, it can be a secret weapon."

Sprig can see what Grime was talking about. He sees him did that inner rage from the other night and now he's gonna do the same thing as Grime did. He began to struggle as he almost reach to the limit by pushing himself out of Beatrix's grip, causing her to baffled.

"What? What the-"

When Sprig was almost reach to the limit as his face turning red until he yells out so loud and then headbutting really hard at the Lord of the West Tower as she fell backwards and then gets knocked out with her only eye was swirling.

The crowd gasps. Genie's jaws were dropped to the ground. Eddie held his phone before taking a picture with flashy sound. It was all quiet for at least three seconds until Polly bangs Frobo's head for ringing the bell.

"Sprig wins! Sprig wins!" Polly shouted as the crowds cheered for Sprig.

"WOO HOO!" Eddie cheers.

"YAY!" Lily added.

"YEAH!" Alex pounded with his fist.

"He did it!" Ivy bounces.

Timon and Pumbaa throws the popcorns up in the air when cheering. Mickey, Phineas, and the rest of the gang are all cheering. The big beetle removes the big cage and flew off with it.

"I can't believe it! Sprig has won! Unbelievable! The frog wins!" Genie cheers as he announces while all of the residents of Wartwoods rushes up to Sprig with being lifted by four of the frogs.

"Whoo!" Sasha claps while cheering.

"That was amazing, dude!" Anne smiles.

"Well, I couldn't have done it without Grime's training." said Sprig.

"Dang right." replied Grime when crossing his arms, but then he laughs. "No, I'm totally kidding. Great job, Sprig!"

He grabs the pink frog from the crowds as he gave him a huge noogie while Sprig laughs, but then their moments were interrupted by Beatrix.

"Ahem!" They just turn their heads at her with all the bruises. "I have to admit, that frog-toad fighting style really was impressive. Perhaps our armies united will be stronger as well. Commander, I pledge my troops to fight for the resistance."

Sasha couldn't believe it. After Sprig won, Beatrix has pledged her allegiance with the resistance. She smiles and bows with respective. The Wartwood residents were in deep surprised that they are joining with them.

"Wow! Who would've thought? Frogs and toads on equal footing." said Hop Pop.

"I know this undercuts the lesson, but it's too good to pass up." Grime started to teases his sister by making fun of her. "You got beat by a frog! Beatrix lost to a frog. A puny little-"

Beatrix bonked her brother's head and fell flatly to the ground and then she walks off with her toad soldiers as they waved goodbye for now.

"Okay. See you when the war starts." said Beatrix.

"Drive safe." Sprig waved

"Bye." Anne added.

"See ya real soon." said Mickey.

As they all waved at Beatrix, from a far from the distance when Bog, Fens, and Mire were all watching after the whole scenery. When he looks through the binocular, he looks pretty well ticked off that one of their leader has joined with the resistance.

"So you have chosen the wrong the side." Bog growled when mumbled.

"What do we do now?" Fens asked.

"I think it's time that we should strike before Beatrix returns. Soon, the Toad Army will rise again."

Looks like Bog is gonna put up a fight with the resistance. I am beginning to wonder how or why did he join the resistance when I spotted him in the semi final episodes.
