Sasuke nervously stood by the gates of his mansion awaiting the arrival of a certain tanned blond. Naruto was nowhere close to being late but Sasuke couldn't deal with waiting inside a moment longer. Figuring fresh air and space was just as good for chastising oneself as a suffocating mansion.

Before long a bright bundle of blond could be seen casually strolling towards his driveway. Sasuke was entranced when he saw him, he had told the blond he didn't need to wear anything formal, but not to be too casual either, and boy was Sasuke pleased with what he saw. Naruto wore black timberlands, jet black skinny jeans and a form fitting long sleeve button that displays his magnificently toned physique, though Sasuke was a bit disappointed he couldn't make out the blonds nipple piercings. He had the top two buttons undone giving a glimpse at his smooth golden sternal head and sheer silver chain. Narutos shirt was a pale lavender colour and even from a distance Sasuke could see those pulchritudinous azure eyes piercing his soul.

By the time Naruto's finally in front of him, Sasukes worries are all momentarily forgotten as he smiles at the male before him, shamelessly checking him out. "Hey, you look good."

Naruto couldn't help but be enthralled by the gorgeous raven before him, making him momentarily forget why he was there as well. Sasuke was in a long sleeved navy blue button up with the top button undone, the shirt contrasted perfectly with his flawless alabaster skin. The sleeves were rolled up to his elbow displaying a silver Rolex along with his long tone forearms. He also wore black skinny jeans, but they were far more form fitting than Narutos, making him anticipate walking behind the raven just so he can watch the magic that is Sasukes ass.

Breaking away from his trance he gives Sasuke a dazzling smile in return, "hey, you do too."

Leaning in, Sasuke closes his eyes placing a soft lingering kiss on his blonds lips, seeing Naruto like this he couldn't help it. Pulling away and opening their eyes the two can't help but continue to smile at each other. In a few moments their peace will be trampled upon so they allow themselves this moment of bliss. Noticing a bundle of colour Sasuke looks at the contents of Narutos right hand.

"Is that why you asked what my Mothers favourite flowers were?" Sasuke asks, pointing to the bouquet of blue, white and purple hydrangeas with a couple pink and white lilies mixed in.

Rubbing the back of his neck nervously, Naruto looks from the bouquet back to Sasuke. "Yeah, I thought it might be polite, I don't really know what's expected in these situations so I just sort of guessed."

"Well, it might be enough to prevent her from killing you, though I can't really guarantee it." Sasuke smirks. Teasing Naruto was his own way of coping with the dinner they were about to embark on.

The anxious blond hangs his head down and groans, "argh, why do I have to do this again?"

Sasuke scoffs, rolling his eyes at the blond in an attempt to cover his own anxiety. "Well dobe, when you leave a million impossible to cover hickeys, consequences ensue. Besides, I'm not going to be the only one to suffer."

"I didn't hear you complaining while I was leaving them." Naruto mumbles similar to that of a sulking child as the two begin walking towards the house.

Sasuke cuffs Narutos upside the head, "idiot!" Naruto could swear he almost saw a pout, almost.

Naruto snickers at the embarrassed raven. "So, what am I walking into anyways?" He was kind of glad Sasuke had such a long driveway, it gave them more time to mentally prepare along with more time to admire the view as he trailed slightly behind the raven.

'Yep, definitely magic.' The blond mentally confirms with a lecherous smirk in place.

"Well like I told you my Mother hasn't said much to me since she saw your work and demanded answers. Though I can tell she's trying not to show her eagerness to meet you in an attempt to punish me. My Father hasn't said anything, though I usually never see him anyways." Sasuke shrugs trying to play off his indifference to the situation but failing, Naruto could see he was every bit as nervous as he was.

To their dismay they reach the door. Just as Sasuke was about to open it Narutos hand jolts out and grabs his elbow. "They know I'm a guy right?!" Naruto's been in life and death situations, but somehow this terrified him equally if not more. He didn't know if he could handle throwing their son being with a guy into the mix.

Sasuke smirked before sarcastically saying, "no, I told them you were a girl."

"Teme! I'm being serious." Naruto groans, he can feel his palms dampen with sweat.

Feeling slightly bad for his teasing, Sasuke turns towards Naruto so he can look into those endless pits of blue. "Yes Naruto, they know you're a guy. And look on the bright side, they're moving tomorrow so we just need to get through tonight alright?"

Taking a deep breath, Naruto nods, "alright, let's do this then."

"That's the spirit." Sasuke says pecking the blond's nose quickly, turning around before he can see Naruto slightly blush.

'Who would have thought Sasuke Uchiha would be one to willingly instigate affection.' Naruto mentally grumbles trying to hide his shock.

Entering, Naruto is grateful there's no one waiting at the door to meet him, it gives him a bit more time to prepare himself, even an extra five seconds he would count as a blessing. Sasuke was as stoic as ever, he was so good at it that if Naruto didn't know him better he would think the raven wasn't affected at all. It was the little things that gave him away, like how he placed his hands in his pockets so no one would see him fidgeting with his fingers, or in how he'd tense his brow ever so slightly. Even his blink was slightly slower and more calculated.

Just as the teens were about to exit the foyer a short, petite woman that remarkably resembled Sasuke came around the corner. Upon seeing them she effectively froze when her eyes met with Narutos.

"Mother, this is Naruto. Naruto, this is my Mother Mikoto Uchiha." Sasuke casually introduces them, feeling slightly uncomfortable with the way his mother is eyeing the blond.

Mikoto didn't have any intention of staring at the teen, but he was certainly not what she was expecting. When she had seen the hickies her idiot son neglected to cover on Monday morning she was both livid and excited. This is the first time Sasuke had ever been interested in anyone and she was curious to see the boy that has enticed her baby. Sasuke wouldn't tell her much, just that he was younger by a few months and that he was a boy. So to see a tall, tanned, handsome young man with vibrant blond hair and blue eyes more beautiful and vibrant than any eyes she's ever seen in her whole life standing before her she too was enthralled. Even Deidra never came close to comparing to the teen before her, it was no wonder this young man had captured her son's interest so quickly.

Naruto places the bouquet in his left hand, then extends his dominant hand greeting with his deep baritone voice, "good evening Mrs. Uchiha, it's a pleasure to meet you."

The bass of his voice vibrates through her chest, effectively breaking her train of thought. "Wow, your voice," she shakes her head realising she said that out loud ,before offering her hand to shake the blonds. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to just blurt that out and please call me Mikoto, It's nice to meet you Naruto, Sasuke refused to tell me anything about you."

Sasuke scoffs at his Mother while Naruto chuckles, "It's alright I get that a lot, and that sounds like Sasuke."

"Speak for yourself dobe." Sasuke grumbles under his breath, but Naruto still hears it causing him to shake his head in amusement.

'So far, so good.' Naruto muses, heaving a mental sigh of relief. He's heard how scary Mother can be.

"I can imagine, I've never heard a voice like yours before, it really is quite deep. You're a rather handsome young man as well, I can see why my son likes you." Mikoto cooes.

"Mom!" Sasuke tries to scold his Mother, turning his head to hide the creeping blush that has captured his neck to his ears and everything in between.

Naruto couldn't hide his own blush. "Th-thank you Mikoto." he manages to nervously stutter.

Remembering the flowers in his hand Naruto nervously extended the bouquet to her. "Oh, these are for you, Sasuke told me they were your favourite."

A kind smile tugs at Mikoto's lips. "Thank you, they are lovely, I can't believe you paid attention to my favourite type of flowers, Sasuke."

She wouldn't voice it, she is an Uchiha after all, but for Naruto to be thoughtful enough to ask, then buy her her favourite flowers was incredibly endearing. She couldn't find it in herself to have any misgivings towards the blond, not even any of Itachi's boyfriends had done something so thoughtful before. On top of that her son actually took the time to pay attention to something so small as favourite flowers, she felt her heart swell.

Sasuke slightly pouts at his Mother. "Of course I pay attention."

Mikoto chuckles, "alright well I'm going to go find a vase for these, you should go find your Father." Somehow the blond had negated her resolve to scold the boy for littering her son's perfect skin with such sinful marks, so she wondered what effect the boy would have on her Husband.

Visibly tensed, Sasuke nods, "Alright Mother, come on dobe."

Naruto smiles and bows to Mikoto's, before following after the raven. "Oi, wait up teme."

Mikoto cocks her eyebrow at their mutual insults but finds herself smiling and shaking her head. "Kids."

"Then keep up dobe." teases the raven as he continues to walk, refusing to wait.

Naruto quickly sprints until he's shoulder to shoulder with the raven. "I was just being polite, you don't need to be so rude you know."

"I wasn't being rude, it's just best we don't keep my Father waiting." Sasuke sighs. Naruto can tell how tense the thought of his father makes Sasuke and that's enough to effectively shut him up.

Walking through the huge expanse Sasuke calls his house, Naruto has no idea where they're going. Sasuke interjects the blonds' thoughts as if he knew what he was thinking. "I'll give you a tour later."

Mildly shocked at how Sasuke knew his train of thought he slowly nods his head. "Alright."

After twists and turns the two teens stop at two mahogany doors where Sasuke effectively halts. Looking back and forth between the doors and Sasuke, Naruto figured his Father must be behind the doors. Feeling just as nervous as Sasuke, Naruto keeps quiet as he tries to wipe his sweaty palms on his jeans. Narutos stomach was doing flips now, after meeting Mikoto he felt better, but seeing the raven frozen in front of doors like a statue was enough to make him want to run the opposite direction. Sasuke was feeling the same way, luckily they both possess exceptional self control or they may have given into the impulse to run.

With one final deep breath Sasuke looks at Naruto who interns gives the raven a hesitant nod, signalling he too was as ready as he'd ever be. Looking back at the door Sasuke closes his eyes and quickly knocks four times. What was only a few seconds felt like an eternity until they finally heard the muffled acknowledgment. "Come in."

The two walked into what Naruto assumed was The elder Uchihas study judging by the desk and floor to ceiling bookshelves. It was rather dark except for the desk lamp that illuminated the work space around the oak desk Sasukes Father sat behind. Even with little light Naruto could see that Sasuke had almost no resemblance to his father. The man didn't appear to even look up upon hearing the teens enter, making Naruto feel uneasy.

Sasuke straightens up, crossing his hands behind his back before clearing his throat with as much authority as his nerves can manage. "Father, this is Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto, this is My Father Fugaku Uchiha."

With piercing black eyes landing on the blond, Naruto freezes. Debating what to say and do, he finally decides to let his body and mouth move on his own. His body steps forward and bows, "It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Uchiha."

Fugaku wasn't sure what to make of the teen before him, he wasn't expecting him to bow for one, or for him to sound like that for another. He couldn't even compare him to a thirty year old because he'd never met anyone with a voice that deep, and with all the people he's met that's saying something. It was easy to see that the blond had manners, but he was Fugaku Uchiha, it takes more than that to impress him. With Itachi's ex being a blond, blonds don't hold a good track record in his books so he needed to make sure this boy was worthy to walk alongside his son. Finding out Sasuke was dating a male didn't thrill Fugaku, but it didn't really bother him either. With Itachi already being homosexual he had already come to terms with surrogacy as an option to carry on the family bloodlines as well as granting his Wife grandchildren. Of course he would never tell Sasuke this, this was all part of the test the two were about to embark upon tonight.

Naruto refused to move, he felt like he was going to be stuck in his bow forever. Finally a gruff voice beckons him. "Stand." Without hesitation Naruto obeys.

"So, Naruto Uzumaki, you're the one canoodling my son?" The elder grumbles, causing all semblance of tan to leave the blonds face. Taking notice, Fugaku effectively smirks internally.

Naruto clears his throat now mimicking Sasuke's posture. What he says shocks the elder Uchiha. "Yes sir, that would be me."

Nobody could tell by his stoic appearance but internally Sasuke was facepalming. 'The fuck are you doing dobe?'

"So, is that all my son is to you? Someone to take your teenage hormones out on?" The stoic man asks, his voice sounding unnervingly impassive.

"No sir, your son is far more than that." Naruto confidently answers, surprising both Uchihas, though you would never be able to tell.

Fugaku was still refusing to break eye contact with the blond. He was excellent at reading people, and he was putting all his years of experience into this. "Oh, like a free meal ticket? Or how about getting your name out into the world?"

Hearing this pissed Sasuke off, but he knew better than to raise his voice to his father, so he remained quiet to let Naruto hold his own, it was sink or swim, and he really hoped that Naruto would adapt and swim.

Naruto has never been one to try and impress people, he's quiet and mostly keeps to himself, but he was not going to stand there and be accused of such things. "With all due respect sir, that's bullshit."

Sasukes eyes can no longer hold his shock, no one talks to his father this way. 'It was nice while it lasted.'

Naruto proceeds to elaborate on Fugaku's accusations without falter. "I don't give a shit about money or what your name entails, from day one I tried to tell your son that I'm a nobody and he should steer clear of me. Why he chose to accept me is still a mystery to me, I personally think he deserves far better. I truly care about him sir, he's different from anyone I have ever met, I don't care about his heritage or how easy on the eyes he is. To me he is so much more and I count myself lucky to be able to walk beside him and not because he is Sasuke of the prestigious Uchiha family, but because he is the Sasuke who has an unnatural obsession with tomatoes, he's the Sasuke who doesn't like sweets, he's the Sasuke who loves to run and is competitive in all he does, never doing anything less than 110%. That is the Sasuke I am proud to stand beside, sir."

Sasuke couldn't help but stare at the blond, he was torn between wanting to hit him or kiss him and never let him go. Never has anyone spoken of him in such a manner before, and towards his father. Naruto could feel Sasuke staring at him, but knew not to let his gaze on the elder waiver. He would be lying if he said he wasn't shitting his pants right now. He couldn't believe he just cursed, raised his voice, and rambled to the great Fugaku Uchiha.

'Well, I'm dead.' Naruto assumes, taking a larger imaginary gulp.

The awe Sasuke was feeling was completely obliterated and placed with dread when his father spoke. "Very well, leave." Both boys figured this was Fugaku kicking Naruto out of the house and denying the whole dinner.

"Sasuke a moment." Fugaku grumbles as the two teens begin to leave. Naruto gives an apologetic look towards Sasuke before he nods and exits the study.

Returning the gesture to Naruto, Sasuke took as silent of a deep breath as he could to prepare himself for the hell his father was about to unleash upon him. "Yes Father?"

Looking from Sasuke back to his documents he calmly says, "I expect to see him in the future. I'll see you both for supper, you're dismissed."

It takes a lot to impress Fugaku, and that is exactly what the blond young man did. There was no hesitation, and remarkably no fear in his eyes as he spoke clearly and confidently. Even grown men tremble under Fugaku's gaze, so for this teen to confidently state what he did, Fugaku couldn't help but like the boy. Naruto had traits you don't find very often if at all. He now had a piece of mind knowing his son wasn't being used and had an extraordinary young man backing him up.

Sasuke couldn't help but gape, there was no way that just happened, that was as the equivalent of his father saying he liked the blond. He was tempted to pinch himself when he realised his Father was now staring at him. Regaining his composure Sasuke bowed to his father. "Of course Father, thank you."

Quickly rising and making his retreat, Fugaku can't help but chuckle when his son closes the doors. "Kids."

Sasuke grabbed Naruto's hand and began dragging him without a word. Naruto knew Sasuke must have been pissed at him for the train wreck he caused, but he didn't really enjoy being dragged around like a child's sled. "Oi Sasuke, hold up."

Sasuke quickly mumbles, "we're going to my room."

Naruto raises an eyebrow but due to being dragged Sasuke misses it. Fumbling up the stairs as Sasuke proceeds to drag him Naruto can't help his confusion, 'shouldn't he be leading me to the door not his room?'

Finally reaching the ravens room Sasuke drags Naruto in slamming the door behind them, before Naruto knows what happens Sasuke's spinning them around and caging him against the door. "You're an idiot, you know that?" Sasuke affectionately whispers.

Naruto begins to apologise "I'm sorry Sasuke bu-" before he can finish Sasuke's slamming his lips against the blonds, thoroughly confusing him even more. Naruto felt like he was receiving mixed signals. Regardless, Naruto returns the kiss with just as much vigour as the raven is delivering.

The kiss was heated and desperate and before either of them knew what was happening Sasuke was sucking on Narutos pouty lower lip, nipping at it playfully. Naruto opens his mouth so that he can give more access to Sasuke which he happily accepts. Diving his tongue into the blonde wet cavern searching for one of his favourite toys, those warm metal balls that thread through his blond tongue. Playfully flicking it as they swirl their tongues together.

Slipping one hand over to Sasukes hip, Naruto brings his other hand up to grasp onto the soft luscious black locks of the raven, forcing his tongue further into Sasukes mouth as he begins to dominate the older teens mouth. This act earns him a soft approving moan from the raven causing Naruto to smirk into the kiss. Naruto loves the sounds that come out of Sasukes mouth, it's enough to make him forget what's ensued in the last ten minutes leading them to their current position.

Naruto playfully sucks and bites Sasukes tongue as the older teen tries to trace his teeth with his soft wet muscle, causing both teens to realise their lungs are beginning to burn from the lack of oxygen. Breaking apart their lips and chins are dampened with a delicious mixture of both teens' saliva. Sasuke rests his head against the blond as the both pant trying to regain a sense of respiratory rhythm, satisfied grins spread across both their faces.

Bringing his hands up, Sasuke gently cups his blond soft marred cheeks leaning in to kiss him again. Between a succession of sweet, firm kisses Sasuke whispers adoringly, "you're—the—sweetest—smart—idiot—I've—ever—met."

Dazed from the shower of gentle kisses Naruto furrows his brows, not knowing if he's being complimented or insulted. Snapping out of his daze he realises he should be on a one way ticket to the Uchihas curbside "huh?"

With a soft smile Sasuke chuckles while taking a step back from the blond, "dobe, I don't know how, but somehow you got my Father to like you."

With his brows currently tying a complete bow, Naruto is quick to reiterate, "huh?"

"I thought he was going to kill you, but he told me he expects to see you in the future and that he'd see us at dinner." Sasuke states, still in disbelief himself.

Still leaning against Sasukes door, Naruto stares off in no direction in particular as he allows that information to seep in, he thought he'd be dead as well, he pretty much loaded the gun and passed it to Fugaku. "How?" was all the blond could manage to mutter.

Sasuke gently shakes his head, "I don't know, he doesn't like anyone, let alone loudmouth idiots who curse at him."

Naruto cringes as he combs through the encounter again. "I can't believe I blurted that all out to your Dad."

Sasuke snorts, "I can't believe it somehow worked in your favour."

Leaning his head back against the door Naruto takes a deep breath, "I was sure I was getting kicked out. I don't know what happened, I just started talking and my brain wouldn't let my mouth shut up."

Running a hand through his soft bangs Sasuke sighs, "well it somehow worked out, that's all that matters."

Walking over to sit on the edge of his bed Sasuke pats the spot beside him, Naruto takes the hint and follows. Both teens sit there in silence, completely dumbstruck but also extremely elated. After a few moments Sasuke is the first one to speak. "Did you mean it? You know, all that stuff you said?"

Naruto looks over at the raven and notices he's refusing to look up from his lap so he brings his hand over and tilts Sasukes face to look at him. Giving the raven a delicate smile, Naruto softly says, "I told you before, I don't lie."

Sasukes face successfully rivals his favourite food as he mumbles "dobe."

"What, you can devour my tongue, but me telling you all the things I like about you embarrasses you?" Naruto teases earning his hand to be swatted away and a punch to the shoulder.

"Idiot, shut up!" Sasuke huffs, crossing his arms in mock annoyance.

Narutos laughs, effectively releasing all of his previously pent up anxieties causing Sasuke to follow suit, they both felt like they had somehow won the lottery, Naruto feeling grateful for being accepted, Sasuke for having his Fathers approval for once in his life. The two teens felt unusually content at the moment. Before long a knocking alerted them, breaking them of their laughter.

"Supper time," calls a muffled voice.

"We'll be right there." Sasukes replies in his usual apathetic voice.

Making their way down, the two slightly less nervous teens made it to an overly large, luxurious looking dining room. Naruto couldn't fathom requiring a dining set that would accommodate thirty people. For such a large area it somehow gave off a warm vibe which perturbed the blond. The room was painted in a tawny brown colour with a huge crystal chandelier hanging from the stucco ceiling that seemed to be its own unique artwork all by itself. All the furniture made of oak and the chairs were upholstered white which gave Naruto a whole new set of anxieties. The concept of white upholstered fabric terrified him, almost enough to make him physically shutter. Coupled with said fabric being incorporated into a space designed for eating and drinking was truly nightmare inducing. The wall opposite of the immense china cabinets encased a huge red brick fireplace that seemed to be immaculately kept with not so much as a speck of soot to be seen making Naruto wonder if it's ever been used.

Feeling rightfully out of place, Naruto followed behind the young Uchiha to their seat placements. It was there that Naruto finally noticed the other three occupants already seated, currently waiting on them. He had gotten so wrapped up in the over extravagant dining room he was too withdrawn to realise they weren't alone.

Being the only one who hasn't greeted the blond today, Itachi's the first one to speak. "Nice to see you again, Naruto."

"Likewise, staying out of trouble Itachi?" teases the blond, confusing the two elders.

"You two know each other?" Mikoto inquires curiously.

"Ah yes, Naruto here is the one who stopped my mugger." Itachi states as a matter of fact.

A low gasp can be heard from the only female in the room. "Is that true Naruto? You saved my son?"

Naruto waves his hands furiously through his blush, clearly embarrassed. "Honestly anyone decent would have done the same thing."

Itachi waves his hand dismissing the blond claim. "Don't be so modest Naruto"

"Honestly, It was just the right place at the right time, Who could walk past someone in trouble?" Naruto desperately tried to curve the conversation, he was growing increasingly more uncomfortable being the centre of attention and wished this topic would swiftly move along. Alas, fate wasn't on his side it seemed.

"Itachi's right, we honestly can't thank you enough for helping our son." Mikoto stands up making the arduous journey around to the other side of the table, locking Naruto into an awkward bone crushing hug, effectively shocking all the men in the room, a feat worthy in itself.

Sasuke is the first to shake off the shock and step in to rescue his startled dobe. "Mother, you can let go of him now."

"Nonsense Sasuke, he doesn't mind." chides the unnervingly affectionate woman as she begins to tighten her death grip swaying ever so slightly.

With pleading eyes directed at Sasuke and with whatever he can muster from his diaphragm, Naruto manages to rasp, "please, don't mention it, happy to help, honestly."

With no end to the uncomfortable show of affection in sight, Fugaku finally steps in being the voice of reason. "Mikoto, let the boy breathe dear." This finally breaks the mother of her momentary show of appreciation.

Grimacing at Narutos slightly colourful face due to lack of oxygen, Sasuke whispers just loud enough for him to hear, "are you okay?"

Gracing the raven with an appreciative smile, Naruto nods his head. Truth be told he never expected the Mother of such a stoic family to be so touchy. Never growing up with a Mother, or any parental figure really, it was a concept that was lost to him. Though he can't see Fugaku being the doting parent either, Mikoto's vice-like hug was definitely unexpected.

Before long a short woman with a blond bob cut and chocolate eyes comes out wheeling a cart with their meals. They were having Sukiyaki with rice and beaten egg yolk to dip their meat and vegetables in. The adults drank wine while Sasuke and Naruto stuck with water.

Wanting to know more about this mysterious blond, Fugaku asks, "So Naruto, tell us a bit about yourself."

Naruto clears his throat before getting a drink of water. "What is it you want to know sir?"

"How are you doing at school? Any ideas on what you're going to do after you graduate?" Fugaku suggests.

Looking over at the elder Uchiha, Naruto answers, trying his best not to stutter or mumble. "Well sir, I get straight A's in all my classes but I'm not absolutely sure what I want to do after I graduate."

"And how is it you plan to provide for my son with no potential prospects in sight?" Fugaku grunts, he likes the boy, but if he had no head on his shoulders, what could possibly come from the two of them?

"Father!" Sasuke accidentally belts out. All relief he felt earlier of his fathers approval was rapidly diminishing.

Fugaku warns his son, raising his hand in a halting motion effectively quieting his youngest son. Not once did he take his eyes on the blond who is remarkably keeping calm.

Naruto grins, Sasuke, Itachi and Mikoto all seem nervous with Fugaku's questioning but Naruto sees nothing but a truly caring parent, a little rough around the edges maybe, but truly caring. He would much rather deal with this sort of interrogation as opposed to anything Minato would subject him to. "Well if I'm being honest, Sasuke doesn't seem like the type to want to be provided for, much like myself sir. Neither he nor I can be certain where our relationship will go, but I'm not completely without prospects. I have kept my grades up and plan on taking courses that aid in taking me through the medical field. Though my passion has always been music, whether it's teaching, listening or playing. If there was any way for me to make a living out of that, that would be my ultimate goal, but I'm not foolish enough to bank on that alone."

Three sets of eyes widened, it would seem they all expert the blond to have signed his death warrant. They never expected Fugaku to continue to be receptive to conversation with the honest blond. "Hn, very well. If music didn't work out for you what field of medicine would you plan on pursuing?"

Naruto had thought about this often, and needed no time to think, "pediatrics, I'd like to help kids."

"Why kids?" the stoic man asks, mildly intrigued though you'd never be able to tell.

"Kids need somebody who can advocate for them, sure they have their parents, but they don't always think logically, rather basing decisions off of raw emotion which I can't imagine being adequate in certain circumstances. I'm able to keep calm and think under pressure which I think would be advantageous working with families. Think of how scary hospitals can be for an adult, now put yourselves in the shoes of a four year old child. I would like to be able to make a difference in other family's lives." Naruto answers truthfully. All the times he's had no doctors, or the perverted Nadire check up on him, no kid deserves that treatment. If he decides to go down this route he wants to make sure the kids get what they deserve and need.

Mikoto steps in with an elegant smile and a voice full of admiration. "I think that's amazing."

"Hn, I guess you're not completely without direction." Fugaku half heartedly grunts. Even he couldn't find it in himself to detest anything the boy was saying. Some reason he didn't even hate the music explanation, it was as if the boy had enchanted him in some bizarre way. He also had to secretly admit that he admired how the boy spoke clearly and confidently, not seeming intimidated in the least, that was a feat not many were capable of while facing him.

Itachi was glancing between Sasuke, Naruto and his Father. Taking a rather large gulp of his wine, he couldn't believe what he was witnessing. A conversation with Sasuke would definitely need to happen later. There was no way his father, the great Fugaku Uchiha had accepted the blond teen this easily. Itachi knew that there was something about Naruto, but he didn't think his strange aura would work on his father. Making brief eye contact with his younger brother, Sasuke just shrugs at him, he couldn't explain this phenomenon either it would seem.

Deciding he was going to contribute to this productive conversation Itachi adds, "what about music? I hear from Sasuke you're quite good."

Before Naruto gets a chance to even look at the elder brother, Sasuke enthusiastically interrupts, earning him an eyebrow raise from said blond. "You have no idea, you should hear the songs he's written, they're amazing!"

Lowering his brow, Naruto blushed at Sasuke's praise. "I don't know about that, but I do enjoy writing my own music and lyrics. I find it soothing."

Sasuke scoffs at his blond, "dobe, don't be modest I swear you could be professional."

"Oh really, so you play an instrument then?" Mikoto asks, smiling between Naruto and her youngest son's enthusiasm, she can't remember the last time he had this type of energy to him.

"Yes, I play a few, but mostly guitar, piano and drums." Naruto explains, rubbing the back of his neck nervously, he felt rather out of place discussing himself.

"Do you know any classical music?" Fugaku asks as he takes a sip of his wine.

"Of course sir." Naruto nods. What kind of musician would he be if he didn't broaden his musical horizon?

"Maybe you could play something for us after?" The stoic man inquires.

Naruto gives a brief look around the table taking in the expectant looks. Everyone looked as if they were hopeful, which felt odd, and Sasuke looked torn between wanting to apologise, and excitement at hearing him play. "How could I refuse?" he nervously chuckles.

"Excellent, we'll head over after supper." Fugaku nods to himself in approval, picking up his chopsticks, continuing his meal.

"Thanks Naruto." Sasuke whispers to the blond as he gently squeezes his hand under the table.

None of which escapes Itachi's watchful eyes causing the older brother to smirk. 'He's really good for you little brother.'

"So Naruto, how about your parents, what do they do?" Mikoto asks, not wanting their conversation to end. They don't usually talk much with each other during supper and she found it rather nice.

He figured this would come up, but that didn't make him less anxious. "Well my Father is a detective, and Mom a kindergarten teacher."

'Wait, he didn't say "was" this time, interesting,' thought Itachi, remembering when he asked the blond that same question.

"Oh really, and what are they like?" Mikoto inquires, not taking notice of the blond's curt response.

"Um, well, Ah I look like my Father, he's very good at his job, and everyone he knows says he's a great man. My Mom's hair's fiery red and her eyes are a bluish violet colour, her skin fair, and she's kind, loves kids and is a great teacher." Naruto mutters, trying his hardest to sound normal talking about the sperm donor he loathes, and the mother he'd only heard stories of, it was difficult at best. He was suddenly not feeling very hungry anymore.

Still curious on the "Mom" topic, Itachi asks, "So does your Mother have any reason to do with why you'd want to work with kids?"

"I guess maybe subconsciously, but it wasn't a decisive reason." Naruto calmly states, hoping for a topic change or even better silence.

"Hn," Itachi hums with a thoughtful nod. The answer seemed to appease him for the moment at least.

Sasuke realises this diner was mostly him throwing his blond to the wolves. With him mostly staying silent, he may have found out that his conscience was slightly guilty causing him to finally speak, blurting out the first thing that comes to mind. "Naruto can outrun me on the track."

This wasn't news to Itachi, but it seemed Mikoto and Fugaku were taken back, Naruto almost choked at Sasukes random outburst but quickly composed himself. The rest of the dinner went on with more random Sasuke outbursts, and more awkward conversation regarding Naruto as a person. Before long Naruto was mentally patting himself on the back for making it through his first ever family dinner, he felt accomplished somehow, also it seemed to have warmed his heart slightly. Though Sasukes family wasn't oozing with affection, he couldn't help but bask in the normality that was family life.

Sasuke was extremely proud of his dobe for surviving his family, without any help from himself either. He had planned to intervene on a few different occasions but Naruto either answered without hesitation, or Sasuke couldn't seem to find his voice. He wanted to know how the blond was able to face his father with such tranquility. With the looks he was getting from Itachis he was positive he was going to be having a conversation later. The thought didn't bother him, in fact he actually wanted Itachi's opinion on how Naruto just came in and all but got an actual acceptance out of their Father.

True to his word, Naruto followed the stoic elder towards where he was going to play for them before they concluded the night. Walking down one of the massive hallways, when they reached the end there was a very over the top grand piano. It was sleek black and looked like it cost a fortune..

Naruto ran his fingers across the smooth top, he couldn't help but voice his opinion, an instrument this exquisite deserves praise. "Wow, it's beautiful."

"Thank you." Mikoto beams, she was rather proud of her piano.

Taking his seat he cracks his fingers and does a quick warm up before performing Debussy – Clair de Lune on Mikoto's request. While this type of music wasn't his preferred, he still found it beautiful. It appeared that his performance was enough to impress even Fugaku.

"Why don't you play one of your songs dobe?" Sasuke asks, all but bouncing on the balls of his feet. He was proud of the talent his blond had, and wanted his family to hear it. He felt bad pushing this all on Naruto tonight, but his parents move to Germany tomorrow and how was he to know the next time they'd be together?

"You just want to hear me sing don't you?" Naruto teases with a hearty chuckle.

"So what?" A pouty slightly embarrassed Sasuke mumbled, looking away with his arms crossed earning his curious looks from his family.

Naruto couldn't decide what he should play and decided to get the ravens input. "You know which one you want me to play Sasuke?"

Sasuke knew immediately which song he wanted him to play, but was embarrassed he didn't know the name. He hadn't learned any of Narutos song names and just realised it at this moment. "Ah, I don't know what it's called, but what about that one I heard the first day?"

"The one Hinata was there for?" the blond questioned making sure he was thinking of the correct one, because he remembered Sasuke hearing him play that on guitar.

Now realising his mistake Sasuke quickly corrects himself, "wait no, the next day, the one with Nara."

"Ah, that makes more sense." Naruto nods. Sasuke felt slightly disappointed Naruto still neglected the name but he was willing to overlook it on account of hearing his dobes captivating voice.

Itachi couldn't get enough of his brother's behaviour, Sasuke was curious, excited, flustered, all things that he's not accustomed to seeing in his younger brother. He was almost willing to admit that he was excited to hear that Naruto was going to play them. From what he's gathered, Naruto shares a similar taste in music as Sasuke and himself, and with such a unique voice Itachi couldn't help anticipate greatness. Nothing about this blond was average so far, he wasn't expecting it to start now.

With his curious audience looking on, Naruto began to play. Even without a microphone his powerful voice shook them, rendering them speechless. While the song wasn't Fugaku or Mikoto's forte, they couldn't deny that the boy had talent, and his deep baritone voice truly was something special. As Naruto finished the last note he looked up to see a smiling Sasuke and a rather stunned looking Uchiha family alongside him.

"Good job dobe." Sasuke applauds him slowly with an even larger smile present. Naruto could really get used to the sight of this gorgeous man smiling at him. He liked making people happy, but there was something special about receiving true full blown smiles from the stoic teen. They always made his heart hurt in the best possible way.

"Wow. That was amazing, you wrote that?" a slightly bewildered Itachi manages to ask.

"Sure did." Naruto nods, his lips curving into the beginnings of a shy smile.

"Your voice dear, it really is something." Mikoto compliments, still clutching her chest trying to recover from the vibrations that Narutos voice reverberated through her a moment ago.

Feeling embarrassed from all the attention and not knowing what to do about it, Naruto politely bows, "thank you Mikoto."

"I've never heard a voice like his before." Sasuke chimes in, a faint hint of pride in his voice.

"It would appear you're not all talk." Fugaku grumbles, surprising his family yet again.

'Maybe he's sick?' Sasuke contemplates. He was thrilled with his Fathers approval, but it also sent weird shivers down his spine that he didn't particularly enjoy.

From beside him, Itachi was battling similar thoughts. 'Could he be sick?'

Mikoto mentally sighed, she knew her sons too well, 'they probably think their Father's sick. I can't really blame them can I?'

Naruto politely bows yet again, "thank you sir."

"Hn."

After an in depth conversation about Naruto's introduction to music, the evening had finally concluded and Naruto finally felt like he could breathe. After bidding farewell to Sasukes family, with promises to Mikoto to see them in the future, Sasuke led him out.

"I can't believe they all like you." bewilderment evident in the raven's voice.

"You and me both, I thought I was going to die multiple times today." Naruto shutters at the thought of how this night could have ended.

"You really are something you know that?" Sasuke boldly admits, he felt that even if it was only miniscule, Naruto deserved to know how proud he was of him. After all, not only meeting the Uchiha head as his youngest son's boyfriend, but getting through without at the very least being kicked out is a damn near impossible feat.

Those words meant a lot coming from Sasuke, they made Naruto smile before deciding to tease the rave. "Thanks, but don't go getting soft on me teme."

Had it been anybody else Sasuke would have glared at them to death, but seeing as this was his dobe he just snorts. "Dobe."

As Sasuke opens the front door he feels the chill in the air, noticing Narutos lack of jacket he asks, "you sure you don't want a ride home?"

"I'll be fine teme, I think I could use the walk." Naruto chuckles. He had a lot to mentally sort through after tonight. They weren't supposed to let anyone find out about them, but him and his stupid mouth just had to mark Sasuke perfect flawless skin and get them caught. Naruto would say that it was a success, but he's not sure these feelings he was experiencing because of it.

Sasuke runs his hands through his midnight locks anxiously. "I get that, it was kind of a lot wasn't it?"

"That's an understatement." Naruto snorted, but his face held a carefree grin.

Sasuke was quick to respond with sarcasm. "Well sorry your highness."

Naruto lets out the laugh that only Sasuke seems capable of invoking. "Ah, thanks Sasuke."

Sasuke was smiling at the sight of his dobes mirth, but furrows his brow, "thanks for what?"

Naruto pausing as he catches his breath, he seemed to be pondering his answer. "For everything."

Shaking his head in amusement Sasuke snorts, "well I don't know what that means but you're welcome."

Sasuke took Narutos hand as he leads them in comfortable silence to the end of the driveway, both teens replaying tonight's events over in their mind. Unfortunately the walk down felt even quicker than the walk up leaving both wishing they had just a little more time together. With it being Thursday they both had school in the morning.

Locking eyes with pits of never ending night Naruto lets go Sasukes hand in favour of wrapping around his waist, pulling him closer in one swift sweep. Bringing his other hand up he gently caresses the raven's soft smooth cheeks. Entranced by Narutos sapphire gaze, Sasuke finds himself closing his eyes and leaning in, he's awarded with soft plush lips gently pushed against his own. The two moved in sync, soft gentle touches soon turned hard and passionate. Neither wanting the other to get too worked up at the edge of the Uchihas driveway so they both reluctantly break apart, giving each other a couple more feather soft kisses before falling into each other's warm embrace.

"I'll see you tomorrow." The slightly dazed raven whispers. He wished he could just stay here, at this moment a little longer.

Placing a light kiss on Sasukes soft luscious hair Naruto whispers back. "Of course, and I'll call you later, okay?"

Nodding his head, Sasuke groans as their warm bodies separate. "Okay."

Naruto was amused at how pouty his raven seemed to be with his leaving, he couldn't help but lean in and give him one more kiss in hopes of pacifying him. It seemed to work because Sasukes pout turned into a smirk casing Narutos brow to raise in curiosity.

Sasuke seductively whispers, "you better leave now or I'll keep you here."

"Alright, alright I'm leaving. Otherwise I may just take you up on that offer." Naruto teasingly winks before turning around and sprinting away childishly, not giving Sasuke a chance to retort.

"DOBE!" Sasuke shouts before chuckling to himself.

With one last glance in the direction the blond left in Sasuke whispers "be safe," before turning around and heading back inside, where he knows a very curious Itachi waits for him.

Getting to the door Sasuke hangs his head groaning as he remembered something. 'Fuck, I forgot the tour.'
