See Through My Eyes

Prologue:

Sometimes all you want to do is be alone and forget the world. Forget all about the weight on your shoulders, the wants and cant haves, and problems. To lose

yourself and be able to close your eyes and relax-- And that is exactly what she was doing at the top of the hill with the cherry tree. It was a place where she

wasn't fighting off ghosts, bickering with her overly happy and peppy parents, or even with her two best guys by her side- just her alone. Guilt possessed her at

the simple thought of them- it wasn't that she was tired of them or anything, it was just they wouldn't understand everything from a girls perspective and sometime

she need to be alone to sort things out. Pressing her knees to her chest, she closed her eyes and breathed slowly, listening to the whistling of the wind and

rustling of the leaves on the tree she was leaning against. A smile then was plastered on her face as she felt the temperature suddenly drop knowing all too well,

what the cause of it was. Eyes still closed but with a smile still on she spoke to the one person, she allowed to hold the key to her heart.

"Hey Danny, I'd knew your find me."

It always did surprise him how she always did know it was he and not some other ghost. Causing the temperature to raise, he transformed back into his human

self and sat next to his goth princess.

"Your mom called my house-" amethyst eyes opened wide, turning her head to face the side of her boyfriends face ready to question him but was cut off with his

next words.

"—don't worry I told her you had just gotten into the bathroom and we were watching movies." And at that answer, she relaxed and leaned her head on his

shoulder which he then wrapped an arm around her small figure.

"What would I do without you?" she asked looking up at his face for the first time since his appearance, and they locked eyes something she knew she could do

forever. Cupping her chin with his free hand, he brought her face closer to his whispering so only she could hear.

"I'd never ever leave you," and with that their lips met in a sweet chaste kiss and soon the world was forgotten to the two lovebirds. Breaking apart to catch her

breath, she asked with a tone of seriousness in it.

"Ever?"

Baby blue eyes looked deep down within those amethyst and answered,

"Never ever."

Sometimes things are said that we know we could never keep even if we wanted to, and this was a perfect example of how a few simple words would be the

greatest hurt to a certain goth girl.
