Sasuke was scaring the employees during their beginning of the week meeting. It was something he and Itachi did with their teams every week just to go over current and upcoming projects and touch base with everyone. Normally the fear the employees were instilled with weren't cause for concern but today was different. Today it wasn't Sasuke's perpetual scowl that terrified them, it was his smile.

Something happened and Itachi planned on getting to the bottom of it. He had an inkling as to what may have happened but him being the diabolical menace he was couldn't be content until he'd heard some semblance of words from his brother's mouth. Sasuke's eerie joy really was a dead give away though. Itachi couldn't be held responsible for meddling, not when Sasuke so blatantly flaunted his uncharacteristically good mood.

"Thank you all for your time," Itachi gracefully closed off the meeting.

Everyone present began to rise and exit the board room in a sedated, orderly fashion, leaving behind the two brothers.

"Good weekend?" Itachi smirked as Sasuke began to rise from his seat with that stupidly pleasant smile still plastered to his face.

"Hn," was all he was graced with.

For the first time in his life, Sasuke couldn't hold his emotions at bay. Hell, he didn't want to. He didn't care who saw or what they thought. He was happy. So fucking happy. His weekend was more than he could ever dream of and the residual ache his body felt only served as a reminder of the absolute heaven he'd been subjected to. His body had been taken in ways he didn't even know were possible, he couldn't believe that he'd deluded himself into thinking others could even come close to temporarily filling the void Naruto previously left. After spending the weekend indulging in all things perverse he was sure that his boyfriend was some sort of sexual deity.

His boyfriend.

It was surreal that he had gained Naruto's affection again. Sasuke didn't do giddy, but if he did, he'd be that teenage girl who just found out her crush likes her back. He was on cloud fucking nine and he didn't give a shit who knew it. That type of emotional freedom was a foreign concept to him but somehow he couldn't find it in him to care. He should be terrified after the things that had, and had yet to be revealed to him, but he was too bewitched by love and phenomenal sex to care.

Yet another thing he was stupefied by. Naruto loves him. He now has a concept of their bond but for Naruto to say it to him with so much conviction, the thought alone made Sasuke chest tight and warm. Sasuke loved Naruto, and Naruto loved him back, how was he supposed to act like his usual aloof self after that revelation? Even Itachi's looming curiosity didn't bother him. That didn't mean he was going to come out and admit everything though. No, he'd make Itachi work for it...Or at least that's his plan.

"You can't scare the teams with that smile and give me a 'hn'," Itachi jested. In all honesty he was getting a kick out of seeing his little brother so carefree. Plus, his inner sadist enjoyed watching the employees squirm with unease.

Sasuke's smile pulled into a smug smirk. "Hn." Then he began to walk out. It was so rare he had the opportunity to toy with Itachi.

"Oh come on!" Itachi protested as he quickly followed behind his brother. "You can't give me nothing, I've been waiting for this."

Sasuke cocked an eyebrow at him as he rounded the corner towards his office. "You have?"

"Yes. Plus, you scaring the employees is better than the time Shi rode into the fundraiser for the children's hospital in a child's batmobile with "ridin dirty" blasting on an old school boombox," Itachi finished with amusement colouring his voice as he entered Sasuke's office behind him.

Sasuke paused, momentarily lost in thought as he remembered his cousin in rhinestone encrusted shades and tacky bling riding out in a mini batmobile at a stuttering snail speed with a boombox on his shoulder, while his knees were practically beside his ears just so he could sit in the child's toy. "Are we absolutely sure there wasn't a mix up at the hospital when he was born?"

Itachi waved him off dismissively. "Yeah, yeah, you've used that three times, stop reusing material. Besides, the kids loved it."

Sasuke couldn't hide his own glee as amusement flashed across his eyes. "I'm sure they would have loved it more if Shi would have actually let the kids have a try. Seriously, that poor car."

"Please, it taking him five minutes to make it ten feet was half the charm," Itachi snorted heartily as he casually sat down on Sasuke's couch and crossed his legs in a silent demand. The eyebrow he gave Sasuke made a clear statement. 'Weekend. Talk. Now.'

Sasuke was at a crossroads, to tell Itachi, or to play it cool and toy with him some more before he inevitably told him? "Naruto agreed to date me," he involuntarily blurted out.

'Well shit, so much for playing it cool,' Sasuke mentally facepalmed. He wanted to draw this out but apparently he couldn't even hold himself back. Under further inspection he found he was fine with his eager forthcomings. At least he was able to keep the fact Naruto professed his love to him and the elation it filled him with to himself...just barely. If sixteen year old Sasuke could see himself now, he'd — without a doubt — scoff and roll his eyes. The thought had Sasuke unknowingly, smiling at himself.

Itachi was momentarily shocked, though his face remained schooled until he allowed his own, small, pleased smile to pull at his lips. "I'm happy for you."

Sasuke's smile grew tenfold as he allowed himself to fully submerge himself in thoughts of his blond as he sat beside Itachi. "I'm so fucking happy 'Tachi."

Itachi needn't be a genius to tell that was the truth. Hearing his brother speak so freely filled him with pride. Now if only he could get the time to speak with their not so little kitsune. It seemed there were even more matters to discuss now.

Dr. Yakushi was diligent in his follow ups. The doctor was being overly cautious — with good reason — after his miraculous recovery and all his recent scans showed he's still cancer free. While Itachi wasn't thrilled with the excessive appointments, it served as a reminder as to how close to death he was. In not so many words, Naruto confirmed he had something to do with it, and Itachi had every intention of getting to the bottom of it. It wasn't often something stumps an Uchiha, but this was one of those times. He was certain of one thing, he owed Naruto a debt he'd never be able to repay. Itachi fully believed that Naruto was the Uchiha's blessing. Not a single one of them were immune to his presence.

"Don't fuck it up this time, hn?" Itachi teased playfully but Sasuke was too deep in his own thoughts to realize.

Sasuke thought he'd feel strange knowing what Naruto was once the magical weekend bubble popped and he was around "ordinary" people again, but that wasn't the case. Naruto was still Naruto, the fact that he was a Jinchūriki didn't even linger in his mind. No, the only things that lingered in his mind were how those large veiny hands manhandled him most of the weekend, and wondering when he'd be able to see his opulent lover again.

Waking up in his bed cold and alone felt like torture after being granted the privilege of waking up next to Naruto over the weekend, he wasn't sure how long he'd be able to wait until he'd see the blond again. Sasuke craved him even more now that he knew he was his, it was his very soul calling out to the other, he briefly wondered if Naruto would be receptive to spending a night or two at his place this week. One weekend with Naruto and he was hooked.

They had touched on many things between their bouts of lust fueled frenzies but according to Naruto there was much more that he wasn't yet privy too. Sasuke was understanding, the information he'd been fed was nearly insurmountable as is. Somehow knowing that he finally knew things about Naruto that the Nara didn't, lessened the blow and had Sasuke feeling smug. He may still be a little bitter that Shikamaru kept Naruto's existence hidden from him all those years.

"ke...Sasuke?" Itachi's voice beckoned him from his thoughts.

"Hn?" Sasuke elegantly grunted.

Itachi snorted. "I said, don't fuck it up this time."

Sasuke's face morphed into the epitome of resolution. "I don't know how or what I did to get this chance, but I don't intend on messing it up this time."

"Good," Itachi rose gracefully with an approving nod. Sasuke watched him curiously as he walked out the door without another word. He didn't believe for a second that Itachi was done with him. Though, now that he thought about it, Itachi had been acting far more peppy lately. Sasuke had been so wrapped up in himself he hardly noticed Itachi wasn't even wearing his glasses anymore. Sasuke didn't have time to dwell on that realisation as his office phone began to ring.

With a sigh, Sasuke made it over to his desk to answer. "Karin," he greeted casually, knowing she was already screening his calls.

"Mr. Uchiha," she greeted flirtatiously, making Sasuke roll his eyes as he glanced at his watch.

"Is my 10 am ready?" Sasuke clipped.

"Yes, they're ready for you in boardroom 2," Karin provided more professionally this time.

"Alright, thank you," Sasuke hung up, not caring for her response. It was time to reel in a major networking company. The flutter of excitement reverberated through Sasuke's body, this is what he was made for.

Naruto was having a hard time focusing. He'd finally received a copy of Haku's interviews for Tsukuyomi, but his thoughts were on a dark haired individual who was currently across town. Over the course of the weekend, Sasuke had informed him that Shisui has loose lips and may have let something slip and Haku wasn't going to drop it easily. Evidently the demur male was rather fierce when it came to advancing his career, but meddling in his friends love life made him downright ruthless. With Sasuke and he already on Haku's radar, they'd have to be extra cautious.

Naruto would have been tense upon hearing such a fact had it not been for the copious amounts of coupling and hearing about the revenge both Sasuke and Itachi had carried out on the loveable doof. Seriously, making him wear a suit in public — tie and all — was probably the best punishment they could have dealt him. In fact, it was so perfect it almost bordered on cruelty. That man needs his vintage band tees and torn jeans like a fish needs water.

When Naruto resolved himself to finally talk with Sasuke, it had never been his intention to tell him about Kurama, let alone introduce them but once he realised keeping that night's details to a minimum wasn't going to work, he'd acted reckless, and even though he never acted restless it just felt right. Sasuke's initial reaction was far more accepting than anything he could've imagined. Who just accepts the presence of an ancient entity without at least an initial freak out? Sasuke Uchiha apparently.

Naruto wondered if their bond had something to do with his ability to process and handle the reveal so effortlessly. It wasn't like there was a handbook on how to be a Jinchūriki. He went off of advice from the others, but they didn't exactly have any knowledge on how soulmates reacted to such a concept. Naruto was the only one to find his soulmate so far so he was navigating these waters blindly. Thankfully it all seems to work out. Sasuke didn't think he was crazy, nor did he think he himself lost it.

A soft chuckle passed Naruto's lips as he remembered Sasuke's furry with Kurama, thinking it was his fault. The man had no sense of self preservation.

"What's so funny?" The gruff, friendly voice carried through the call.

"Hn?" Naruto mentally shook himself, remembering he's supposed to be focusing on his call. "Oh, it's nothing. What were you saying?"

"Right," Jiraiya chuckled, clearly not believing him, but dropped it regardless. "Like I was saying, everyone on this end is fine with how it turned out. They were more worried about your thoughts. Haku seemed to be fixated on you more than anybody else."

Naruto sighed. He wasn't a huge fan of the journalist. "I'm fine with how it is."

Jiraiya made some noncommittal grunt sound in affirmation. "He's been pestering me to get a follow up out of you."

"Not interested," Naruto answered unimpressed. He had no interest in helping the man crack the code as to who he is.

"And that's what I've been telling him but he's certainly persistent," by the sound of his voice, Naruto could tell the man was rubbing his neck sheepishly which was never a good sign.

"What did you do?" Naruto glared at his phone, as though it could pierce through to the man on the other side of the world.

"Nothing! Honestly, I've done nothing." Jiraiya attempted to placate him. "I just think it might not be a totally bad idea."

"In what world is letting a journalist poke around a good thing?" Naruto's deep voice was sharp.

Jiraiya sighed. "It's just...you know what? Never mind."

"No, tell me," Naruto pushed.

"Well, you and the Uchiha are together again, and right now there are all those pictures circulating of the two of you at the gala. It would give you a chance to either confirm or deny the rumours." The man's inflection would suggest he thought himself clever.

"And why would I concern myself with this?" Naruto asked curiously. He didn't care who thought it was true or not.

"It's simple. You can confirm and you'd be able to go out as Kurama, boyfriend to V.P of Uchiha Corp or you could deny it and have a relationship with the man as you, Naruto Uzumaki." Jiraiya answered.

"Why should I feel obligated to answer? Let them think what they want," Naruto said with a touch of irritation. If he were being honest, the state of Sasuke and his relationship in the public eye hadn't even crossed his mind which just shows how dazed the weekend had made him.

"It wouldn't be for them, it would be for you," Jiraiya explained firmly. "Do you want to be able to go out with the man like a normal couple? Because if you don't figure out how to breach this topic publicly, you'll be stuck avoiding him or perpetually wearing a mask until Kurama is revealed as you."

Naruto chewed the inside of his cheek anxiously. "What does Yugito think?" She was in charge of their PR.

"Professionally, or personally?" Jiraiya chuckled.

"Both?" Naruto trailed off as he absently toyed with the ring on his thumb.

"Well, personally she thinks you should tell everyone to fuck off," the guffaw Jiraiya let out made Naruto snort. "Professionally, she wants you to take the follow up. It's a quick way to spin things the way you want them to be perceived, while keeping everyone from thinking you're trying to deceive them."

Naruto let out an insufferable groan. "You guys really fucking suck sometimes you know that right?" Naruto wasn't usually one to care about what others thought of him, but he did have a soft spot for his fans. After all, they were the ones who made his dream possible.

"Aww, we love your temperamental ass too," Jiraiya cooed. "So, should I set it up?"

Banging his head off of the nearest hard surface was sounding more and more appealing by the second. "Agh, fine. But I need to talk to Sasuke first. The only way to get around having my identity being revealed is to announce our relationship as Kurama. If I showed up anywhere in public with Sasuke as Naruto it wouldn't be hard to connect the dots so I need to make sure he's okay with this."

"Alright, how much time do you need? I want to get this sorted soon." There was a brief pause before he continued. "The deadline for the final draft is due in a couple weeks."

Naruto really didn't want to do a follow up interview with Haku and it had nothing to do with his relationship with Sasuke. The journalist needed to be reminded too many times to watch what he asked for Naruto's liking. This was giving the brunette free reign to do it all over again. He really fucking hated this. But he supposed he had no one to blame but himself. He was the one who agreed to do this special addition for Tsukuyomi, he made his bed now it's time to lay down in it.

Naruto sighed dejectedly. "I'll have an answer by tonight, tomorrow at the latest."

There was a murmur of a secondary voice coming from Jiraiya's line. "Alright, I have to go. Just text me your answer and I'll email all the details to you, alright?"

Naruto grunted. "Yeah, that's fine."

"Alright, take care of yourself kid," the affection in Jiraiya's voice was palpable.

A soft smile pulled at Naruto's lips. "Yeah, you too."

With the call ended, Naruto wasted no time texting Sasuke. The sooner he gets his answer, the sooner this whole thing can proceed to its final close.

Naruto shoots off a quick text to Sasuke — asking him to call him when he gets a chance — then makes his way over to rinse out his fishbowl sized coffee mug. By the time he reached the large basin his phone started ringing.

Naruto places the mug in the sink and walks over to the island his phone was resting on. He raises a blond brow when he sees who's calling and answers with amusement. "Shouldn't you be in your meeting?"

"We just finished up when I got your text," Sasuke's voice sounded normal, but Naruto was able to detect a hint of worry. "Is everything alright?"

Naruto snorted. "Everything's fine, I just needed to talk to you about something."

"I have a few minutes while I prep for my next meeting," Sasuke replies quickly.

Naruto gently turns the opportunity down. "Nah, I'd rather talk about it in person."

"Hn," Sasuke tried to sound unaffected, but Naruto was sure he was pouting.

Naruto hears a taunting voice in the background before he hears Sasuke scoff. Naruto can't hide his amusement. "Is that Itachi?"

Sasuke let out a very breathy huff. "Yes, he being his usual bast-"

As soon as Sasuke's voice gets cut off a smooth voice replaces him. "Hello kitsune."

Naruto chuckles. "Hey Itachi. On a scale from one to ten, how deadly is the glare he's giving you right now?" Naruto could picture it, and he was surprised Itachi wasn't bursting into flames.

"Actually, he has more of a pout happening right now," Itachi said with a voice full of diabolical glee.

Naruto briefly hears Sasuke in the background, demanding his phone back. "Tachi, give it back!"

Itachi clearly wasn't affected. "Seeing as my adorably pouty brother wasn't going to ask, I was just asking if you two would come over for dinner this Saturday?"

The deep chuckle Itachi let out made Naruto let out his own amused laugh. Judging by the sound of the rustling and the sharp curses, Naruto was almost positive the brothers were wrestling over Sasuke's phone. The image his mind provided him of the two brothers wrestling over a phone — in immaculate suits in a professional setting — had him involuntarily laughing. He could practically see the wrinkled clothing, the tousled hair and the flushed faces.

Taking pity on both of them, Naruto finally answered. "Yeah, we'll be there."

"Excellent!" Itachi replied, sounding all too pleased with himself. " I'll send you the details so my brother doesn't 'conveniently' forget."

Before Naruto could respond, a very whiny Sasuke spoke clearly. "Did you really have to humour him?"

"Aww, don't pout teme. It's not very becoming of an Uchiha," Naruto teased.

Sasuke clicked his tongue. "Tch, I'm not pouting dobe."

Naruto snorted. "Sure you're not." Naruto suddenly felt a wave of mischief coarse through him. Naruto makes his voice low and husky. "I'm sure those soft, plump lips totally aren't pouting."

"T-they aren't," Sasuke tried to sound unaffected but Naruto heard the hitch in his breath.

"Hn, you know what those lips would be good for?" Naruto purrs seductively.

Sasuke audibly swallows as he feels his slacks tighten. "What?"

"Eating supper with your brother on Saturday," Naruto chirped. He was sure Sasuke's world had come crashing down and it was confirmed when he heard a rather audible groan.

"Naruto!" Sasuke whined. Any trace of Sasuke's stirring erection immediately ceased at the mention of his brother.

"Alright, sorry, I'm sorry," Naruto chuckled heartily. "Anyways, like I was saying, I need to discuss something with you in person."

"Is it something serious?" Sasuke didn't hide the concern in his voice.

"Well yeah it is, but not in a bad way," Naruto hurried out. He didn't want to make his lover panic.

Sasuke didn't hesitate to respond. "Can you drop by for lunch? That or I'm free tonight."

"I can't this afternoon. But I'm free tonight," Naruto answered easily. He would have liked to see Sasuke for lunch again, but it probably wasn't a good idea until they sorted out how their relationship would be perceived by the public. Sasuke's secretary had already seen him as himself and he didn't need that to have any repercussions on when he starts showing up as Kurama. That's even if Sasuke is okay with it all. Naruto was sure he would be, but this is something you discuss with your partner before leaping into it.

Sasuke was a little upset that Naruto couldn't have lunch with him but the thought of seeing him after work perked him up immediately. "Alright, how about you come by my place and I'll cook us dinner?"

Naruto grins at the eagerness in Sasuke's voice. "Alright, just let me know when you want me to head over."

"Okay sou— Shit, I have to go, my next meeting is about to start. I'll text you alright?" Sasuke finished in a rush.

Naruto chuckled. "Alright, kick some ass."

Sasuke chuckled back. "Will do, see you tonight."

Naruto's lips pulled into a soft smile. "See you tonight."

The call ended and Naruto turned to clean his humongous coffee mug once again. Unfortunately he was interrupted by yet another call. It was shaping up to be a busy day.

For the rest of the day Sasuke struggled with berating himself for not manning up and telling his dobe that he loved him before hanging up. He wasn't sure who he was anymore. He was turning into one of those mushy saps he'd normally sneer at and he didn't even care.

When he finished up at the office he left and went straight to the supermarket. Naruto had cooked for him but he'd never cooked for his love so he intended on rectifying that tonight. He focused on the ingredients he needed for his shrimp alfredo, it was all he could do to stop his excitement from bubbling over. He wanted a way to get Naruto at his place and the opportunity literally fell into his lap. He just hoped that whatever Naruto needed to discuss wasn't anything too serious.

By the time he got home and put his groceries away he had enough time to jump in the shower quickly before he'd need to start the water for the pasta. There was just something about a hot shower after a stressful day at work, it helped loosen his tight muscles and relax him. When he finished he towel dried his hair and threw on some black sweats and a white tee before heading out to the kitchen.

He began boiling the water, getting ready to cook the pasta as he cleaned the shrimp. Just as he was seasoning the shell fish, his phone went off. Sasuke used the dish towel to wipe his hands then unlocked his phone.

Dobe:

I'm here.

Sasuke:

You can come up. The doors unlocked.

Sasuke set his phone aside and went back to his previous task. He began cooking the shrimp —finding the sizzle of the oil soothing — and just as he flipped them he heard a firm knock on his door.

'I told him it was unlocked,' he scoffed fondly.

He gave the shrimp and the pot of unboiled water one last look over before deeming them safe to leave behind for the door. When Sasuke reaches for the door he greets his love by telling him he's an idiot and should have just entered. Naruto quickly shut him up by leaning in and placing a soft, lingering kiss on his soft, pale lips.

"Hello to you too," Naruto grinned as he finally pulled away. Then handed his boyfriend a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Sasuke was surprised Naruto had picked a wine that would pair well even though he hadn't told him what he was making.

"Hey, you know you didn't have to bring anything right?" Sasuke smiled in return, then his brain caught up and registered his abandoned shrimp. "Come, I have to check the shrimp."

Naruto followed behind. "Would have been rude to show up empty handed y'know?" He proclaimed.

"You're my boyfriend dobe, not some random house guest." Sasuke scoffed playfully as he placed the bottle of wine down in favour of removing his shrimp from the pan.

Naruto simply shrugged. "Need help with anything?"

"You could pour us some wine?" Sasuke suggested. He wanted to be the one to cook their whole meal.

Naruto nodded. "Glasses?"

"Cabinet over there," Sasuke used his head to gesture as he began mincing the onion and garlic.

Naruto found the glasses easily and returned to rummage through Sasuke's drawers in search of a corkscrew. When Naruto huffed Sasuke looked over at him with a smirk. "Top drawer."

"Thanks," Naruto responded sheepishly.

The water had finally started to boil and was ready for the pasta just as Sasuke was adding the garlic to the sauteed onions.

"Here you go," Naruto sat down a modest sized glass of wine next to Sasuke's designated cooking area.

"Thank you," Sasuke picked it up and took a sip. It was light and refreshing.

Naruto took a seat on the other side of the island and watched Sasuke retrieve a bottle of chardonnay from the fridge and added some to the sauteed onion and garlic. They made simple conversation with each other as Sasuke stirred the pasta and added the cream and parmesan cheese as well as the final touch of seasoning to the sauce. With the noodles done they were quickly drained then added to the alfredo sauce, followed by the shrimp.

Sasuke plated their food and took a seat beside Naruto. He could have taken it into the dining room but Naruto seemed comfortable.

"Mmm, this is really good," Naruto complimented as he placed a large forkful of food into his mouth.

"Thanks," Sasuke smiled softly, telling himself the warmth in his cheeks was from the wine. He was more than pleased that Naruto enjoyed his cooking.

The two ate and engaged in light conversation. There seemed to be a silent agreement that they'd wait for whatever Naruto wanted to talk about until after their meal. Right now they were just enjoying basking in each other's presence. It had only been a day since they'd seen each other, but after spending the weekend together it felt longer.

When they had finished eating, Naruto showered Sasuke in praise before offering to do the dishes. They bickered back and forth before coming to a compromise of Naruto washing and Sasuke drying. After the dishes were done, they found themselves sitting on Sasuke's plush sofa with freshly topped up glasses of wine.

"So?" Sasuke was the first to broach the subject. "What did you need to speak to me about?"

Naruto sipped his wine before placing it down on the modern, glass coffee table, then turned to face Sasuke. "Well, it's about us."

"What do you mean?" Sasuke's brow furrowed. He didn't want to admit it, but the thought that something could already be wrong with their barely started relationship frightened him.

Naruto bit the inside of his cheeks nervously. "I need to know if you're okay with the public knowing you're dating Kurama."

"Why wouldn't I be?" Sasuke looked torn between confusion and relief. At least Naruto wasn't telling him he regretted giving him another chance.

"Because I wouldn't be able to be in the public with you, Kurama would have to be," Naruto's voice seemed calm but Sasuke could tell that Naruto was just as nervous for his reaction as he himself had been moments ago.

It was something Sasuke hadn't thought about. He had been so caught up in getting another chance with his love that he hadn't even paid any attention to what things would look like publicly. It took him all of a second to come to terms with the fact that he was more than okay being with Naruto, even if he could only be seen with him out in public as Kurama. Nothing was going to deter him from their relationship, which is exactly what he conveyed. "Naruto, I don't care what it takes, I want everyone to know I'm yours and you're mine. And if it takes me being with you as Kurama I'll gladly do it."

Naruto didn't miss the slightly possessive tone in Sasuke's voice. It sent the best kind of tingle coursing through his body. "Really?"

Sasuke didn't break eye contact when he replied softly. "Really."

Naruto let out a huge breath of relief which made Sasuke chuckle before taking a sip of his own wine. "You really thought I'd break this off over something so trivial?"

Naruto raised an eyebrow at him. "Normal people wouldn't think being in a relationship with one person who's actually two people is a trivial matter."

Sasuke shrugged nonchalantly. "Normal is overrated."

Naruto smirked. "Touché."

Sasuke scoffed fondly at his blond. "What made you think of all this anyways?"

Naruto's face morphed into one of annoyance. "Your little friend, Haku has been insistent on getting a follow up interview with me and Jiraiya and Yugito want me to do it. They think it'll be a great way to spin our relationship the way we want before someone else inevitably leaks it. "

Naruto isn't sure he's ever seen anyone else's facial expressions morph so quickly. One moment Sasuke's soft and playful, the next he's glaring daggers. "I'm going to kill him!" He sibilated. "I told him to drop it. Hell, Itachi told him to stay out of it as well."

Naruto looked amused. "Well he's got more balls than I gave him credit for."

Sasuke made a move to get up but Naruto grabbed his wrist. "Just leave it. You'll only make him dig further."

"But he didn't listen," Sasuke growled but sat back.

"True, but I don't need him digging further. Your secretary already knows of me, the last thing I need is for her to talk with Haku and that snoop to put the pieces together that Naruto is Kurama. I love you, but I'm not ready for everyone to know that Naruto Uzumaki is Kurama yet."

Sasuke instantly melts upon hearing that simple declaration. He's positive it'll never get old. "I love you too."

Naruto smiled softly at him, but there was an amused glimmer that danced in his eyes because Sasuke had ignored the rest of what he said.

Sasuke must have realised it because there was a flicker in his deep, dark eyes. "As for Karin, she's not allowed to speak about any of our clients."

Naruto raised his brow. "But I'm not a client."

"According to the paperwork she'll sign tomorrow you are," Sasuke's voice sounded resolute.

Naruto thoughtfully sipped his wine. "Alright, but I can't go there anymore unless I'm Kurama. And I'm not sure how well a jumpsuit wearing man in a creepy fox mask would go over in the corporate world."

Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "I don't give a fuck what anybody thinks. Itachi won't care either. I'm just sorry you can't be out with me unless you're fully geared up."

Naruto shrugged. "It's not so bad. Could be worse."

Sasuke sighed. "Still, it would be nice for you to walk around freely in your own skin."

"One day. I'm just not ready for that yet. Sorry to be such a pain." Naruto mumbled the last bit.

Sasuke put his glass down and reached to lace his fingers together with Naruto's. "Hey, you're not a pain. You are literally the most amazing person in my life."

Naruto really hoped he wasn't blushing. "Thanks," he murmured shyly. He wasn't accustomed to compliments from Sasuke, they made him feel like a puddle of goo.

Sasuke smirked, he rather liked that shade of pink on his boyfriend. "Now, I have just one request if you're going to do this follow up interview."

Naruto tilted his head. "And what's that?"

Sasuke smiled like a maniac. "I want to be present for this interview."

Naruto's whole body quaked with his guttural laugh. It was so contagious that even Sasuke wasn't immune. "Yeah sure, we can arrange that," Naruto finally said as he wiped the mirthful tear that escaped him.

With sore cheeks, Sasuke gave a pleased nod. "Good."

"Just try not to kill the poor lad until after the interview," Naruto snickered.

"No promises," Sasuke smirked wickedly. Haku may have self proclaimed himself to be Sasuke's friend but that wasn't going to stop Sasuke from terrifying the brunette.

"That poor sap," Naruto snorted.

Sasuke shrugged. "I warned him, it's not my fault he didn't listen."

Naruto sways his head in thought. "True. Anyways, that's all I really needed to ask. I didn't want to do that over the phone."

There was a rather heated glimmer that glistened in Sasuke's galactic orbs. "Then I guess that means I can finally give you the tour?"

Naruto raised a curious brow. "I guess so."

Sasuke stood gracefully, his interlocked hand pulling Naruto up with him. Naruto manages to place his glass down before he finds himself being dragged down a hallway. It didn't escape him that they literally bypassed every room until they reached a double door.

Sasuke opened the door and turned the light on before letting go of Naruto's hand. Naruto walks in with his eyebrow cocked in amusement. "So, are we starting here?"

Sasuke closed the door behind himself. "This is the only room that matters," is all Naruto hears before Naruto finds himself mauled ferally and shoved back until he falls backwards onto a lush bed.

Yeah, Naruto was fine with waiting on the rest of the tour.

It feels like ages since my last update, sorry about that. Between being an adult and not liking anything I wrote I found this chapter exceptionally hard to write. I have ideas but they all felt impossible to bridge. *Shrugs* I'm still not happy with this chapter but after scraping it six times this is what we get. At least I have some clear direction for the next few chapters now, so hopefully they'll come easier.

Anyways, that's all for now.
