I know it's been a minute since I uploaded, but I have had a lot of stuff happen, and I only work on this when I have absolute free time, and I haven't had much. I have also been working on another story where the pups have their own podcast. If I have uploaded it, you should go check it out. Chapter 14 - Snow Day Pt. 2

(Pups are outside sledding down the driveway in the snow)

(Rubble goes down the driveway while standing up and stops at the bottom without any problems)

Marshall: My turn!

(Marshall gets on the sled and pushes it down while standing up)

Chase: Careful, Marshall! You could…

(Marshall crashes and lands in a pile of snow at the bottom)

Chase: Fall…

(Everyone rushes over to where he fell)

Rubble: Marshall, are you okay?

Marshall: (says something, but they can't hear him under all the snow)

Zuma: Dude, we can't hear you.

(Marshall pops his head out of the snow)

Marshall: I'm good!

(The pups laugh)

*Meanwhile*

(Jake is up at his mountain looking out to Adventure Bay)

Jake: (To himself) Such a beautiful day! Look at how pretty the town looks!

(Jake notices smoke off in the distance)

Jake: That doesn't look like chimney smoke…

(Jake reaches for his binoculars and looks at where the smoke is coming from)

(He notices a house just outside of town has caught fire)

Jake: That's not good! I better call the PAW Patrol!

(Jake reaches for his phone and calls Ryder)

*Back at the Lookout*

(Ryder is watching the pups play in the snow)

(He notices his pup pad going off and answers it)

Ryder: Hey Jake! What's up?

Jake: I was just looking around outside when I noticed this big smoke cloud coming from a house just outside of town.

Ryder: Was it from a chimney?

Jake: Nope. Look!

(Jake turns his phone around for Ryder to see the house on fire)

Ryder: Uh-oh! Don't worry! The PAW Patrol can help! No job is too big; no pup is too small!

(Ryder calls the pups)

Ryder: PAW Patrol to the lookout!

All the pups: Ryder needs us!

(The pups start to run towards the Lookout)

(Marshall runs up the pathway when he starts to slide again. He reaches for Chase, and instead of grabbing Chase, he takes his toboggan on accident)

Marshall: Woah!

(Marshall continues to slide through the doors into the elevator, where he comes to a complete stop in the middle before everyone else gets there with Chase's toboggan on top of his head)

(Everyone else gets in the elevator, with Chase coming in last)

Chase: Hey, how did you get my hat?

Marshall: I don't know. I'm just "slick" sometimes.

(Everyone laughs at the joke)

(The elevator doors close, and they start to go up)

(When they get to the locker room, Marshall is being suited up in his regular gear instead of Everest, and he begins to silently cheer)

(They all get to the top and jump out into the top floor of the Lookout)

Chase: Ready for action Ryder sir!

Ryder: Thanks for coming so quickly, pups.

(Ryder presses a button on his pup pad which lowers the mission screen)

Ryder: Because of the cold temperatures outside, someone must have had their heat turned up too high because now, there's a house on fire!

(All the pups gasp)

Ryder: We need to be quick to put it out and make sure no one is inside.

Ryder: For this mission, I'll need Everest. Use your snowmobile to make us a path to the house.

Everest: Ice or snow, I'm ready to go!

Ryder: Chase. I'll need you to stop all traffic from using the road in front of the house.

Chase: Chase is on the case!

Ryder: Rubble, I'll need you and your crane to help move anything that could block us from getting inside.

Rubble: Rubble on the double!

Marshall: (Becomes restless and whines very quietly out of pure excitement)

(The other pups start to giggle as they look over at their friend, who looks like he's about to explode waiting for his name to be called)

Ryder: (Laughs to himself) Wow, Marshall. You look really excited. I bet you know who I'm about to call, don't you?

Marshall: Uh-huh! I know! (His tail starts to wag like crazy)

(The pups laugh)

Ryder: And Marshall!

Marshall: YAY!

(The pups start to laugh again)

Ryder: Welcome back to the action! I can tell you've missed it!

Marshall: (Starts talking really fast) Yes! I've waited so long to be able to go on a mission, and finally, I get to go on one! (Starts panting)

(Everyone laughs again)

Ryder: Okay, now calm down so I can tell you what you have to do.

Marshall: Oh! Right! (He sits down but continues to wag his tail furiously)

Ryder: Marshall, I'll need you and your hose to help put out the fire.

Marshall: I'm fired up!

Zuma: Dude, we can tell!

(The pups all laugh again)

Ryder: Alright, PAW Patrol is on a roll!

(They all howl)

(Ryder goes down his pole to his ATV)

(Chase goes down the slide and lands in his car)

(Marshall doesn't waste a second to go down the slide and takes off towards it, but he goes too fast and flips down the slide before Chase's vehicle is out of the way)

Marshall: Wooooaahhhh!

(He continues to come down the slide out of control)

Chase: Marshall, look out!

(He gets to the bottom, where he accidentally collides with Chase in his car)

Chase & Marshall: Oof!

Chase: Marshall, you're supposed to wait a few seconds before you go down.

Marshall: (Sits up) Oops, Sorry! I was just really excited! (Starts to pant again)

Chase: (laughs) That's okay! Well, you better get out of here before your girlfriend comes down the slide!

Marshall: *Blushes* (Starts to get out of the car quickly and sprints over to his truck)

Chase: *Sighs* (He looks back to see Rubble coming down the slide before his car is out of the way)

Rubble: Look out!

Chase: Not again!

(They collide)

(Rubble sits up)

Rubble: Hey, where did you go?

Chase: *Muffled* Below you…

Rubble: Oh, sorry! What happened? And where's Marshall?

Chase: That's what happened. Marshall came down too quick and caused a pile-up.

Rubble: Ohh... Dang, he really is excited.

Chase: Yeah, when he gets too excited, he becomes reckless, which is not good if we're about to go put out a fire.

Rubble: Yeah, good point. You should definitely warn Ryder.

Chase: He probably already can tell. When Marshall was a puppy, he would do this on every mission.

Rubble: Really?

Chase: Yeah, but Ryder got him medicine or something to calm him down.

Rubble: Huh, I never knew that. But shouldn't we move before Everest comes down the slide?

(Everest comes down the slide)

Chase: *Notices* Too late!

Everest: Look out!

(They all crash again)

Everest: What happened?

Chase: Your boyfriend happened…

Everest: *Ignores him* Where is Marshall?

(Marshall drives by them and stops)

Marshall: Guys! Come on! No time to play games! Let's go!

(He speeds off)

(Rubble and Everest run off to their vehicles while Chase starts his)

(They all speed off)
