With Loona and Cassiel. Girl's Day Out.
Song Playing In The Car: Are You With Me? By Lost Frequencies.
Future family bonding time. Well, that's how it should have felt for Loona. Only, she didn't know what to say to the angel in the passenger seat beside her.
The angel named Cassiel. She was her fiancé's mother. And, even though she reappeared during the assault on the I.M.P. building yesterday. Loona still felt awkward around the former servant of God. Despite the accounts from Snow where he had warned Loona that his mother would run the hound ragged. Loona knew she should fear for her life. But, she had to know what to expect from what the elder female had planned for her son's intended for mother-daughter bonding time.
Loona, despite having it somewhat easy today, couldn't help but wonder what Snow was doing right now. Because even though Loona wished to engage in conversation with the angel across from her. The fallen beside her was seemingly fascinated by her future daughter-in-law's car she was currently sitting in.
While Loona couldn't think of anything to say to the woman beside her. Her thoughts were running rampant.
How do you engage in a conversation with someone who has seen so much worse than Loona has herself? Though she made a, somewhat, good impression on Cassiel yesterday at dinner. She felt she had to do better to show Cassiel that she, Loona that is, was right for her son. And, she could show that she could stay in the elder's good graces. Or, she would risk being erased.
Seemed easy enough with how Snow told it. Loona had never met Snow's mother till yesterday. But, The moment Cassiel looks outside the window to see the scumbags that lived here. She shakes her head with a bitter sigh escaping her. Catching Loona's attention the moment Cassiel does this. And, seeing this as a positive sign to strike up a conversation. The hound spoke up after turning down the radio.
"You know, Cassiel. Hell has improved since you last visited centuries ago."
Cassiel laughs bitterly, but not harshly, at the hound. It wasn't Loona's fault for being born where she was. But, to hear the young woman speak how she did. A small smile graced the gracious lips of Cassiel.
"Now, back to the business at hand, Loona."
Loona nearly has a heart attack. Angels were supposed to be her enemy yet, Snow's mother was one of the nicest beings she had ever met! Until the woman turned dark the minute she stared down Loona.
"if you intend to make my son happy. I'm going to give you a little bit of motherly advice. Just in case you want to avoid my wrath. Do. Not. Break. My. Son's. Heart! Otherwise, they will never find your body. And, I'll just pass it off as a suicide to my son. Do you understand me, child?"
Loona nods fearfully. The minute she did. Cassiel became motherly and cheerful again when saying.
"Fantastic. Now, do try to enjoy yourself today won't you, Loona? It's just a future mother and daughter bonding day today."
Loona's soul nearly escaped her mouth at how quickly the mood changed in the car. Now she was starting to see what Snow had meant by how scary his mother could be. She could be sweet and motherly for one second. The next, she will be at your throat and scarier than any demon in existence.
Pentagram City
The sight of the I.M.P. employee with his daughters and son entered a coffee shop he and Loona frequented. It was a pleasant sight to behold to see the hero of Hell with his kids. Since Loona was having a day out with his mother. He decided he'd treat the kids to a day out too. Their first stop was the coffee shop Snow was standing at the counter of.
"I'll have a white coffee. What do you girls want?"
"I want a hot chocolate with marshmallows."
That was Eliza's answer. Winter replies.
"I would like orange juice, dad."
Before Austin could answer. The girl behind the counter recognised the tall seventeen-year-old when she says.
"And, I take it Austin wants his Iced Black Coffee?"
Austin looks at the hound behind the counter. Seeing the brown-furred teen behind the counter. He smiles warmly when he recognises her before answering her.
"Sure do, Mercedes."
The hound known as Mercedes giggles a sweet sound that makes Austin smile goofily. Leaving three demons to look at him like he'd grown a second head. Once Mercedes walks away to process the orders. Austin notices his baby sisters and dad looking at him weirdly before he replies.
"That's my girlfriend who just took our orders. I've been dating her since I was sixteen."
Eric makes an 'O' face in realisation. Winter and Eliza were ready to tear their big brother a new one after learning what they had. Seeing his sister's mischievous grins. He says evenly.
"Don't even think about it."
Winter and Eliza merely smile sweetly with halos above their heads. Austin knew better. But, he'd just give them the benefit of a doubt for now. Sitting at their table after Snow had paid for the four drinks. The three teens try to think of a conversation starter. Well, Eliza and Winter had one. But, Austin wanted to shut down his deviously smirking baby sisters when he asks his dad.
"What is grandma like, dad? You never really spoke much about her."
Eric huffs and tugs the collar of his shirt before drumming his fingers on the table before even thinking of answering his oldest son. Austin continues.
"I saw that she scares you. Is that normal?"
"Oh yeah. Very normal for your grandmother, Austin. Since she and my big sister were very protective of me when I was a child. As my brother found out. If she smiles with her eyes closed towards you. For future reference, Austin. Run for the hills, son. She's plotting murder behind that damn smile of hers."
The teens shivered collectively at their dad's words. Luckily, their fears were eased when Mercedes appeared with their drink orders. Seeing four pale faces thanking her. She looks at them all weirded out before kissing Austin's cheek and leaving.
Back With Cassiel and Loona at the Pharmacy.
"Now, don't be embarrassed, Loona. I'm just picking up this test for you. And, if it does come up positive. Then, make sure you say goodbye to your future husband. Because, if I find out he's made me a grandmother out of wedlock. Then, I will rip out my son's testicles and string him up on the drain pipe outside the apartment."
That made Loona go pale with dread even more. Causing her to say.
"That's a bit drastic Cassiel! I'm sure if it comes up positive. Eric will do all he can to make sure I am safe and happy during the time before our wedding."
Paying for the test and exiting the store. Cass and Loona headed to the toilets in the mall. While Cassiel left Loona to take the test in the stall. She thought back to when she taught Snow a lesson in modesty that very morning. This happened when she caught Snow sneaking into the shower with Loona.
Let's just say. Her adopted grandkids would be down a parent and a plunger if Cass had gotten a hold of her naked son that morning. It would have had to have been surgically removed from his asshole if Cass had her way with the plunger.
In The Stalls With Loona
Loona's heart was in her stomach and tears were in her eyes while she sat in the mall's toilets. She was doing as Cassiel had asked. She had taken the pregnancy test into the toilets with her. And, after a few minutes. She got the news that would, probably, lose the love of her life.
Knock, Knock
"Just a minute Cassiel. I'm finishing up now."
Loona calls out to the female that had knocked on the stall door. Hearing the female exit the toilets. Upon hearing her footsteps go outside the toilets. Loona wiped herself and stood up. Pulling up her underwear and jeans shorts. The hound flushes before exiting the toilets. She was internally panicking about telling Cassiel she was three weeks along. And, the pregnancy test wasn't a dud.
Outside The Toilets
The moment Loona comes out of the stall with a worried look on her face. And, with a positive test in her hand. Cassiel's smile spelt murder. While Loona's look was one of 'please don't kill my future husband'. Something Cass caught onto straight away. Making her sigh and say in her head.
'You know how to pick 'em, Snow.'
With the news out now. Cass placed a gentle arm around her future daughter's shoulder and says.
"Don't worry, Loona. The minute Snow finds out. We'll see what kind of man he is the minute you tell him from your mouth."
Loona knew she was supposed to be reassured by that statement. But, after what had happened this morning with the plunger. She was worried for Snow more than anything. Silently, she was praying Snow would not choose the flight option and leave her with what she knew. She didn't want to be the reason Snow was murdered and made to vanish.
Today was going to be a fun but awkward day at the same time.
Back With Snow and The Kids. At the Park
Eric was seen watching from a park bench while Austin pushed Eliza and Winter on the swings. He didn't dare take his eyes off of his daughters. Just in case they decided to get up to mischief while under his watch. He soon got angry when he saw some older boys around Austin's age come over and push over Winter. But, hell hath no fury than an evil brother. After the boys had made his sister cry while their parents just sat and watched as these little bastards made his sister cry.
They didn't sit and watch when Austin walked over with an evil glare in his eye towards the two teenagers. When Winter and Eliza spotted their brother standing behind them. They quickly hid behind him. While Winter wept. Eliza was comforting her while Austin confronted the teens. He was furious with the denizen parents that allowed their kids to bully a sweet child-like Winter. So, when they came over to argue with Austin and cause trouble. That was when Snow intervened. Causing all Hell to break loose.
"Maybe you should teach your children not to pick on someone younger than them! Learn to discipline your children. Or I will!"
The parent didn't take too kindly to the threat. Trying to throw a punch at Snow. The male caught the male's fist with the open palm of his hand. With his free right hand. He began to choke the denizen. Lifting the demon in the air and squeezing tightly on the dad's windpipe. Eric was furious with the demon for not disciplining his children better.
"If your children, EVER, pick on my little girl again. I'll personally tear your head from your fucking shoulders and shit down the hole where your head should be! Do I make myself clear!?"
The male demon, who is going purple now from lack of oxygen, nods quickly. This earned him being released from the angered male's grip. Once he hit the ground. He and his sons scurried far away from the fuming males.
When he tried to calm his breathing while Austin walked over with his sisters. The male began to try and cheer up Winter after she'd been bullied. It was safe to say it had worked. And Winter's smile was all that was needed to cheer up the adult from his rage.
Car
Once the father and his kids were inside the truck. Eric starts the ignition. Checking for any cars before pulling out of the park's car lot.
Back With Loona and Cassiel.
Loona was seen visibly exhausted from the girl's day out with Cassiel. Taking the odd drink of her slushee. The two future in-laws were in a jovial mood whilst sharing stories back and forth with each other.
The minute Loona brought up Azrael. And, how Eliza blew her brains out after Loona, herself, had been murdered to protect Snow. Cassiel let out a dark chuckle and says morbidly.
"You know, Loona. Unlike how I like you as my son's girlfriend. I could never stand Snow's ex-girlfriend when he was in Heaven. She was too, what's the word I'm looking for? Ah, that's the one! Too up her ass to see what a catch my boy was. Luckily, he found you when he did. Otherwise, I would have had to match him up with some random pompous asshole in Hell."
That made Loona chuckle. Cass hated Snow's ex, which, happened to be the angel who murdered her! She loosened up more the moment the fallen angel continues.
"Don't worry Loona. Unlike that pompous bitch. I actually like you. My boy has picked a keeper. And, honestly, a hottie to boot as well."
This caused the hound to blush bright red the moment Cassiel wrapped her in a side hug. Something told Loona, at that moment, that she would feel safe as a member of Snow's family.
Back at the Apartment
The moment Loona spotted Snow sitting down on the couch with his head lolled to the side. She noted he was fast asleep from the day he had had with the kids. Noting she needed to drop a bombshell on her boyfriend and two daughters that were asleep on the couch together. And, with Cassiel's coaxing. Loona gently shook the hybrid awake from his slumber. After spending the day with the kids. The moment he clapped his eyes on his fiancée when he awoke. He smiled at the pleasant sight before him as he received a gentle kiss when he sat up from the couch. As he stretched to pop some of his joints back into place. The girls slowly awoke to greet their mother with a hug.
"Did you enjoy your day out with your father?"
The girls nod sleepily. Their moment, however, was interrupted by Cassiel dropping the bags in front of them. Startling only Snow into a seating position fully. Loona couldn't help but chuckle lightly at Snow's sudden stiffness at sitting straight. The minute his mother moved around to the chair in front of him. She spoke directly to him.
"Snow, before we ask you about your day with my grandkids. Someone would like to tell you something. Wouldn't you Loona?"
That's when Snow went quiet. Shrugging off the quietness, Loona asks.
"Babe. I want your honest answer, OK."
"Why, what's going on Loona? Are you OK?"
A sigh could be heard. Despite hearing the two females in the background trying to get Loona to show some courage. With a new resolve. Loona asks.
"How would you like our girls to have a little playmate running around? Someone they can protect?"
Eric freezes up. This wasn't going where he thought it was going, was it? So, he asks cautiously.
"What do you mean?"
A facepalm could be heard from the girls beside him before Snow hears a sigh before Loona continues.
"No, what I mean babe. How would you like our girls to have someone smaller than them to protect and love?"
Eric nods. Though, to be fair to him, he was still clueless. When Eliza wanted to drop the bomb on her dad while Winter was trying her best to contain her excitement. Since, well, she knew what their mom was getting at. The moment Loona brings out the test she used at the mall. Three collective eyes widened with three different emotions. Eliza just sat with a small smile. Winter was practically bouncing in her seat. But Snow? He was immediately in panic mode when he saw what the test was before his girl spoke.
"Snow…"
Snow looked close to fainting. He didn't! Did he? The emotions were swirling inside Snow the moment Loona showed Snow the stick with the plus sign on it. This made Snow's brain break.
' has stopped working. Would you like to restart the system?'
That was the thought that was running through Snow's head when he saw the stick. His face seemed frozen in a permanent stare at his beloved.
"Snow? Are you OK?
"Snowball?"
"Daddy?"
Cassiel, Loona and the kids seemed genuinely worried after asking in concern at how long Snow was frozen stiff beside his two daughters. And before the two women. It only seemed to last seconds when Snow shook his head, clearing his thoughts and looking at Loona with a loving look and asks softly.
"I think my brain crashed at what I just put together. Please, Loona. Please, tell me this is not a joke. And, you are, what I think you're telling me Loona."
"Snow, welcome back to parenthood, babe. I'm three weeks along and expecting our first child together."
Eric didn't know how to react. His eyes filled with tears of happiness at the news he had just learned now. Winter looked confused at why her dad was crying about the kids getting another sibling. But, managing to hold back his tears long enough, he asks.
"I'm going to be a dad again?!"
As Loona nods with a smile on her face. It gave Snow his cue to pick Loona up by the waist and spin her around. Planting an intimate kiss on her lips when he brought her towards him. Cassiel couldn't help but feel happy, yet upset, at the same time.
Happy, because she was watching the young couple be blessed with a little bundle of joy. Upset, because Kai wasn't here to witness his baby boy make him a grandfather demon. Her moment of sadness was interrupted when she watched Eliza and Winter sit with the hound. And, making sure Winter didn't bounce all over her mother. Cassiel gently sits the youngest daughter down before they all had a long discussion into the night.
