Chapter 2 The lost archive

The desert was harsh and unforgiving. It had been three days now and Lester seemed to be very tired despite this they marched on until they came to a small cave. Riley thought it would be a good idea to rest here so they both entered the cave and Riley blanked and then automatically muttered some words "Satan's rage and heavens peace ignite"
A fire then emerged in the centre of the cave. Lester felt somewhat comforted by the bright flames but at the same time he felt a severe hunger pain .
"Ow my stomach!" "Are you ok Lester?" asked Riley in a concerned tone of voice "I know you must be hungry I'll go and find some food," Riley left the cave and when he got out he could see a giant rat so he ran towards it but as he got closer he could see a flame colossus. This thing was about sixty feet tall and its arms and legs were totally covered in flames and its breath oozed from its mouth like dry ice , it's eyes were like black holes , lifeless and unforgiving it's gaze was close to that of death's gaze .
