It pains me too see that there are not a lot of reviews….Not really, anyways thanks for reading! Remember R&R!

"Remember, only one person goes in at a time, and then, once they get out, the next person goes in," Lance instructed.

The door opened and a voice boomed over the group.

"Will No. 1 please enter the room?"

Leaf, with a wide smirk on her face, stepped into the long-awaited Pokemon Room. How gigantic it was! The shelves were stocked with so many Pokeballs that it stretched for at least fifty feet, each categorized with its own numerical code. Leaf, still stunned by the magnificent display, walked closer to the touch-screen panel in front of her.

"Welcome, Sergeant Green," The computer spoke. Leaf questioned the voice with a confused look, and then remembered that the top scorer was automatically the Sergeant of his/her division.

"Please select a Pokemon from Kanto or Sinnoh. There are no Legendaries for rookies."

The battling sides decided using Pokemon from their own regions is better than using Pokemon from the opposing; those who do are considered traitors. However, spies have used "forbidden" Pokemon for their work. They are the only ones allowed.

Leaf scrolled down through the Pokemon, awe-struck. She was slightly disappointed that there were only non-evolved Pokemon on the list, but discovered that there were rare ones too. In the end she decided to go with Bulbasaur, the seed Pokemon.

"Sending a 'No. 1' Pokemon to the main Transfer Machine A," A flash of bright light covered the room for a second and a Pokeball appeared in the Transfer Machine by the computer. Leaf grabbed the Pokeball swiftly, and was tempted to open though she remembered that she could not until she got back into her room.

"Will No. 1 please exit. Will No. 2 please enter?"

Leaf rolled her eyes at how short she was allowed in the room; only five minutes, and ignored the impatient glances as she walked slowly out.

Ash sighed, stirring his empty cup with boredom. It has been almost four hours and a half before Leaf had first entered and he still had one person ahead of him. He reckoned that Gary and Leaf will have probably evolved their Pokemon before he even gets one. He sighed again, hating why he was always so dumb. Hating why everything he did, nothing good came out of it. And most of all, hating why he even came onto Earth. Ash had always gone through these kinds of depressions on and off, but today it had gotten much worse. If only he was born smarter, that way he wouldn't have gone through all the suffering, the name-calling and jokes.

'Will No. 56 please exit. Will No. 57 please enter?"

Finally! It was time! Ash walked quickly to the doors and tried to smile at Lance, though stopped because he knew Lance wasn't in a good mood. President aka General Lance, had been standing nonstop for the past several hours. He grunted, acknowledging that he wanted Ash to do it quickly.

"Welcome, Private Ketchum," The computer interrupted, breaking off Ash's hypnotic trance at the vast numbers of Pokeballs lined up on the shelves.

"Please select a Pokemon from Kanto or Sinnoh. There are no Legendaries for rookies." The computer instructed, opening up a panel. Suddenly, it started again.

"Ash Ketchum has been assigned two Pokemon. Transferring them immediately."

Lance, overhearing the computer, walked in quickly when he heard the word "two" not one. Only very high-ranked officers were allowed to have more than one Pokemon, though Ash was only a private. He gently pushed Ash aside, and scanned the computer screen.

"Riolu Lvl1. Pikachu Lvl1. Take care of them well."

Lance suddenly grabbed the phone that was attached to the supercomputer, and quickly inputted a number, giving Ash a glance that said nothing but confusion. A pretty, blonde woman with black curls in her hair appeared on the screen, giving a questioning look to Lance.

"President Cynthia, there's a boy here that's been assigned two Pokemon. Did you have anything to do with it?" Lance asked, with a slight tired tone in his voice.

"Hm.." The woman pondered before lifting her head in recognition of a boy behind Lance. "Is that Ash Ketchum? May I talk to him for a bit? Don't worry Lance. I was the one who assigned him the two Pokemon."

"And how was I not informed? Shouldn't you discuss it with me before you do anything with my troops?" Lance demanded, quite angry that Cynthia, the president of Sinnoh, was messing with Kanto's army.

"President Lance, I do ask you to keep your voice down," Cynthia replied calmly and then continued, "If you won't let me talk to the boy, at least send him to Sinnoh for me along with two others, Gary Oak and Leaf Green. If you want General, you may tag along too."

Lanced turned a bright shade of red for a moment before clearing his throat and responding,

"Sorry Cynthia, I overreacted. I'm just really stressed out today. I'll be sure to send the three immediately by copter. But no, I will not be coming. Drake, my head commander, will see that they are safely transported."

Cynthia nodded then smiled.

"I do hope that you'll make it to the meeting two days from now? Or did you already forget?"

Lance sweatdropped at Cynthia's lack of faith towards him.

"Yes, I am aware of that. Good night President."
