A/N : While hunting down my bunnies, I caught one and one of them contains this story so I just type it out~ Anyway, this is a fluffy fic and VerdexSkull fluffy fic~ So if you no likey, no ready!
"Skull, open the door. I said I'm sorry." Verde knocked on the door hardly. From outside he could hear Skull sobbing. He sighed. He stare at the door. "Oi, Skull." He called out using his usual tone. There was a silent. "What." Skull replied, icy cold.
Verde inhale. "I don't care about your looks, Skull." He started. Inside the room, Skull was biting his lips sitting in from of a mirror. He felt frustrated. Verde continued. "Those eyeliners don't even suit your face." Verde said honestly.
He really didn't care about the make ups that Skull put up. It was not the reason he liked Skull. Verde was a scientist and he never care about anyone. Not in a million years. But sooner, Skull manage to worm into his heart and open the door from inside.
He always smirk to himself when thinking about Skull's childish words and his loyalty to Reborn. And just now, a few minutes ago Verde had accidentally walked in to Skull's room and saw him applying eyeliner.
"V-Verde-sempai...!" Skull was startled. The eyeliner tube fell to the floor, rolling under the bed. Verde stood there, stunned. "Eyeliner?" he whispered, a little shocked. Skull's lower lip trembled. Furious and embarassed, he pushed Verde outside hardly and slammed the door shut. He couldn't face anyone anymore. Verde had seen him using make ups. He was a man, and no man uses make up.
"JUST GO AWAY!" Skull cried. Verde stood there, his green eyes staring at the door pinned with octopus stickers and posters. "No." He replied, his tone determined. Silence over-powered them again. "Skull, I don't care if you wear make up or not. Honestly, you are the first one that manage to open my heart. Your antics are just cute, and its not because of those eyeliners. Its because you are who you are." Verde said, nearly confessing.
Skull sniffed. Was Verde making a confession? Skull blushed at the thought. He wiped the tears that stained his cheeks. The eyeliner had came down and stain his cheeks too. Skull stared at the floor. Should he open the door?
"Skull."
He bit his lips. He was sure Verde is telling a lie. Verde could never say something like what he said just now. Verde is just waiting for him to open the door and embarass him with his sacrasms again. Skull look away, ignoring Verde's call.
Verde sighed. Skull was not opening the door. There's only one way. Be honest. Taking a deep breath, he said "I like you, Skull."
Those words shook Skull's whole world. His heart jumped and he can feel the flip-flops in his stomach. And he could swear that when Verde said that, he could hear fireworks in his head. And the whole world stop.

"Skull, really. I li— " The door burst open and Skull rushed out and hugged Verde tightly. Verde's eyes widened slightly and he doesn't know how to react. Skull's tears fell again. "I like you too, Verde sempai." He said blushing. He held Verde tightly, not wanting the other man to see his tear and makeup stained face.
After three seconds, Verde smiled and hugged back Skull. He placed his chin on Skull's hair and close his eyes.
"Make up isn't everything, Skull."
