America, sometime in the mid-1700s.
"You bloody wanker!" England yelled. "You're turning my own colony against me!"
"Ce n'est pas ma faute si vous aimez les petits garçons et que vous lui effrayé," France said, shrugging his shoulders.
"In English Pepe le Pew!"
France sighed. "Why must you force me to speak in zis 'ideous Germanic language?" He shook his head and, speaking slowly, as though to a very slow child, said, "It is not my fault that you like little boys and you scared him away."
"What are you insinuating you vile—"
"England! England!" a little voice cried, interrupting their argument. The two older countries turned their attention to the small blond head, just barely visible in the tall grass, running towards them.
Little America latched onto England's trousers the moment he reached them. England felt his trousers become damp as America cried big, fat alligator tears into them. He knelt down to eye level with the child, concern plain on his face. He hugged the tiny country to him and grimaced slightly when America blew his nose on the fabric of his shoulder (although he was pleased to see France back away in fear of getting boogers on his clothes).
He pulled away from America, looking blue-eyed child's tear stained face. The little boy seemed to have clamed down enough to explain what had upset him.
"What is it America?" he asked. "Are you hurt?"
America shook his head no.
"Was it another country?"
America nodded.
"Did that douche France touch you?"
America shook his head.
"Was it Sweden? I know he's been doing some trading here. Did he scare you?"
Again, America shook his head.
"Well, what happened?"
"…Spain…" America mumbled, twiddling his thumbs.
"What about Spain?"
America mumbled something else.
"America, for god's sake, please speak up."
"Spain is a pervert!" America blurted, blushing.
"What do you mean?" England asked, his large eyebrows furrowing together. "What did he do?"
"Spain touched Florida!"
