Chapter 2
Now as weird as it sounds, it was true. I was a dog. I have to say, it was a lot better than being turned into a guinea pig. I sure hoped Circe wasn't behind this problem. My only other suspicion was Hecate. I mean, haven't her spells gone wrong before?
I decided it wasn't Circe because I still was able to talk, and wouldn't it be a bad idea to turn your enemy into a large, vicious dog? I mean seriously, dogs have sharp teeth and claws! And I didn't think Circe would be able to penetrate to camp's borders.
I still kinda wierded out, so I went to the only person capable of making me feel better- Annabeth. As I raced to the Athena cabin (these dog legs sure did go fast!),I noticed other dogs wandering around camp and no halfbloods. I reached the Athena cabin and went inside. I called out for her, but was greeted by a shih tzu.
"What!" it yapped?
"Annabeth?!" I stifled a laugh.
"Oh it's me all right, just in the form of a fluffy shih tzu!" she growled.
I laughed. I just couldn't help it. My girlfriend was a frizzy shih tzu.
"Shut up, Seaweed Brain!" She yelped. Yep, it's Annabeth, I thought.
"Ok, so we're all dogs. What do we do?" I asked
"We go talk to Chiron, and try to figure out how to approach the problem."
"And then what?"
"I DON'T KNOW!" she growled
"Ok, ok. I'll shut up now!"
"Sorry, I'm just a little overwhelmed by this whole thing." She whispered and dropped her head in despair.
As we left the cabin I noticed everyone was wandering around, obviously confused. Two identical Jack Russels chewing on someone's tail. Well, I found the Stoll siblings. By the Ares cabin I spotted Clarisse, a Rottweiler, fighting with one of her siblings. Apparently we were turned in to the dog breed that best fitted us.
The Athena kids were transformed into shih tzus because of their intelligence, the Ares kids were Rottweilers, and the Hermes kids were mischievous Jack Russels. I was a Portuguese water dog (or should I say I was a Greek water dog). Everybody was a dog. Or a demidog in our terms.
