I ran my hand through my Mohawk as I waited, bored. I had been sitting here for over 10 minutes, even the games on my phone had lost all interest. I sighed as I slipped my phone back in to my pocket, best go find the others and see what was taking so long. Rachel and Finns wedding should have started by now…
I stood up and straightened my tux, glad to be off those heat sucking stone pews, and walked to the door, bluntly ignoring the glare of the priest guy as he muttered obscurities about my 'ridiculous haircut'. – Really-. I thought at him – your hair looks like it was replaced by a dead cat decades ago.
Instead of pissing of the priest by swearing at him (it was Finns wedding after all) I satisfied my need to rebel by glaring at him and raising my eyebrow and then smirked, satisfied the church guy ran his hand of his falling out , dead hair and stopped, risking only a final disapproving glance before disappearing into a side room. Ha! Puckasaurus is a badass without even talking…
I then left the church for one of the gloomy side corridors leading of it. Brushing old people dust off my butt (probably shed from that creepy priest) I squinted into the darkness. -still trying to shake the gross feeling that I was probably breathing in the ashes of dead people.
'Finn!' I yell surprised, Finn's tall frame was moving slowly down the corridor 'HEY DUDE' I yell again trying to get his attention. Finn turns around smiling,
'Hey bro what are you doing here 'he asked.
'Me?' I replied, puzzled. I walked towards him faster trying to catch up to the tall boy.
'' what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to wait like, alone over there somewhere?' I say waving my arms in the general direction of the graveyard and smile 'You're not supposed to see her yet though dude'
Still slightly confused of Finns presence here I continued '' oh and I am bored, I came to find the others.'
Finn turns to me and smiles in that typically Finn way, 'Cool Me to – not the bored part, and I know-'' he shrugs, 'but I already saw her'' His face cracks open and his teeth glinted in the dimly lit corridor.
As I finally catch up to him I slap him on the back, 'way to go man!'
That was so, so typical of him, I try to sigh at him but it comes out as a laugh 'Kurt's gunna be so annoyed!' Finn's face slightly pales and he turned to me '' oh crap, did not think of that ''. I suppress a smile as I then ask one of the more pressing questions on my mind.
'So dude what up with the hold up? That priest guy was giving me the evils'.
Finn frowned ' I dunno bro, Quinn hasn't arrived yet – ' my heart did that funny little flop as he said her name, I tried unsuccessfully to ignore it, suddenly glad of the dimness of the corridor as I felt my face go slightly red.
'Why is she late?' I interrupted concerned, Finn shrugged but not unkindly.
'She had to go back for her dress or something. She's probably getting ready, car trouble you know.''-
'' she'll be fine!'' he adds hastily – I think Finn is the only one that really knows how I still feel about Quinn. She's my baby mama after all.
'Okay' I frown… straightening my tie and jacket again. (Best make myself presentable for the ladies) I smirked to myself before quickening my pace towards girl's area where I knew everyone would be waiting. I couldn't shake the feeling of unease in my stomach that had started at the mention of Quinn's name…
Maybe Santana would know something?
