Jayfeather and how he feels about being blind.
JAYFEATHER
Seasons change like the flowing river,
always shifting, always changing.
I may never see it physically,
But mentally, in StarClan, I am a being
Of which can only be stopped by a prophecy.
In those hunting grounds, I truly feel free
Its as if I am grounded, being blind
It feels like I cannot be me.
My brother, and even my sister
Were able to be warriors.
But because of my blindness,
I am grumpy and I am to cure
The wounds of others,
And the scars of my heart
But there is one that I cannot heal
It is my eyes that I have had
Since I was born into this prophesied world
And I will continue to have them,
Until I join StarClan
