I own nothing
Bleh. New chapter, I know, already. Where the hell do I find the time to update so fast, I'll never know. Think of this as an early apology for not updating as fast enough in the future! This chapter has some spice, I think, but like major 70% blech. But you guys are still so awesome! 4 reviews? Already? I love you guys :) ! To clear up some confusions in the story, Luna is not a psychotic little bitch & slut, and her mother isn't either. They're both equally nice and decent to Mikan, they just come out as weird to Mikan. Get what I'm saying? I hope so, LOL. Oh and also, Natsume won't be appearing in this chapter either, so sorry fan girls! Some other people will be appearing in this chapter though. It's not what you'd expect them to be (the new introducing characters I mean.) Then again though, this story's' characters will be a bit twisted, but not too much, hopefully ;) .

The names, the only reason holding me back for not being BSOTY already as it is.
That Wakako! Only getting close to me just to dig into more of my weaknesses!
Flashback
"Hey Mikan!" Wakako called out to me.
"Yes?" I said turning around putting on the best happy face I could fathom for her.
"Who do you have for your names?" she asked politely.
"I haven't checked them yet. I was planning on checking them out once I get to class. Wouldn't want to open it up here and then lose it somewhere in these deep, dark, demon abysses, you know?" I said jokingly.
"Ha ha, yeah! Well, I wish you luck on who you have. I just went to the front office and found out one of my interviewees is in my next class! Awesome, right?" She said too cheerfully.
"Yeah, just great..." I said through gritted teeth with my smile still intact. Just peachy. I should have went to the office too. How annoying. I thought.
Might as well go now, I told myself.
"Mikan, how come you never called me back during the summer? Whenever I called you were always busy..." she asked me.
"Uh...Well...You see...I was working on some new songs to sing, you know, for the major project in Singing court? Mr. Narumi assigns it every year. So I thought might at well get it over with while I'm sitting around doing nothing. So I pretty much told everyone to leave me alone while I was doing it, I was even surprised when Luna complied with my request. Usually she would bug me to go shopping with her." I lied.
Actually whenever she called I asked everyone in my family to tell her I was busy. Why? I was paranoid. Paranoid because she was an amazing person. She was best at socializing, A seriously good person to assist people in things, and she didn't have anyone hating her.
Me? I suck at socializing. The only friend I remembered was my imaginary friend Pete the Pickle. Last time I saw him? In the sandbox, sad, I know.
Me as an assistance helper? Not a chance. I have the attention span of a rock. If it's interesting that's one thing. Then again, nothing interesting really goes on in Alice Academy. This school was and will always be the "safe haven" that is is for kids like us.
To put this honestly I have no one hating on me really, but that's only because no one knows me. I'll always be the, "Oh, that girl," never the, "Oh, that girl," perfect, right? Not.
I hated the fact that I'm unsociable, I tried to socialize once, but I almost en —
"...kan! Mikan! Mikan!" I hear Wakako say loudly, quickly snapping me from my thoughts.
"Huh? What?" I said completely confused.
"Nothing you can do, nothing you can do," I heard Wakako mutter, but I chose to ignore it.
"Sorry I spaced out, a lot has been going on lately, family things." I said lying smoothly. Where do I come up with these fibs? I thought to myself.
"Oh, can I know what it is?" she asked innocently, a little too innocent if you ask me.
I had no idea what to do then, so I quickly thought of an excuse. "Sorry, maybe another time, my class is right here so I need to go, bye Wakako."
Slowly I walked to my door and just as Wakako turned the corner I rushed to the front office.
"Hi, I'm Mikan Sakura, and I'm running for BSOTY. I wanted to know if you can run these names and see if I have any of them in my classes? Thanks." I said in a fake polite voice to the office lady. I read her name plate.
Mrs. Kyoshi
"You have Sumire Shōda In your next class. You'll have to come back later for the rest. Here – A pass to class. Now go."
"Thank you Mrs. Kyoshi!" I said running off.
Flashback end
Ugh, The nerve! I though madly.
Only one good this came out of this, I found out Sumire Shōda is in my class, and the best part is, she sits right in front of me!
I would ask her the usual but she seems like a nutcase. Always so addicted to those magazines she reads. Especially Seventeen.
Forget the textbooks, she doesn't even bother carrying them. All she holds in her hand is magazine after magazine.
It was tempting to just forget about the interviews for all times sake, but then I would just be kissing BSOTY out the front door. So I was stumped.
Here goes nothing.
I leaned in a little and whispered "Hey, I'm Mikan, it's nice to meet you Sumire. I was wonder if after this class, I could interview you? I hope you don't mind. I work for Mr. Narumi and he wants interviews of all the new students for the school newspaper, The Alice Times." I asked quietly, so our Biology teacher, Mr. Gohrbanian, won't hear us.
"Will you steal my boyfriend from me?" she asked sharply but quietly.
"Uh, no, I promise I won't steal your boyfriend. So will the interview still go on?" I asked, weirded out by the sudden question.
"Then yes! I will answer your questions! Just give me your address. Maybe I can come after school and we can talk about this new article I read in Seventeen!" She replied instantly changing into a overly-cheerful mood.
Talk about bi-polar. I thought.
"Yeah, sure! That would be great!" I said fake cheerily while scribbling down my address on a scrap sheet of paper.
"Great! See you then Mikan!" she said taking the paper and turning back around, pretending to give Mr. Gohrbanian the attention she thought he deserved.
All of a sudden, the announcement speaker went on saying:
"Please excuse this interruption. Teachers, please escort your students to the assembly room. We will go there in an orderly fashion, meaning, no horse-play, talking, lolly-gagging. There we will have our usual student code speech being made every year. I expect everyone to come attend. No exceptions. Thank you."
With that, the announcement speaker went off with a slight 'pop' sound.
"Alright students, you heard her. I want you all to line up in an orderly fashion." Mr. Gohrbanian instructed.
Once all of is were where we were supposed to be, we started moving. Luckily we got back row seats so no one will notice us.
Then I noticed a boy. Blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. He looked kind of cute, not that I would admit that anyways.
I was just about to lean back and relax when I noticed who I was sitting by.
Kokoro Yome.
Not the worst guy in the world, but he's not your "Oh my, he's so cool!" type of guy. He's been notorious for bringing his pet rat, Lubi, to school a few times a year, and by the constant wriggling, and the pink nose trying to pop out of his pocket, I could tell today was one of those days.
It sounded that he was trying to whisper things and feed bits of cheese to Lubi to calm him down, but by the time I see the pink little nose trying to get out, I can tell it's not working.
"Okay, students, we all know what we're here for, so please, let's make this quick. We all know the rules. No skirts past mid thigh for girls, and absolutely no underwear showing for boys, is that understood?" Our school principle, Mrs. Kounji cut in sharply.
Well, by the look on her face she was clearly satisfied, especially by the loud choruses of "Yes ma'am," and "Duh, you tell us this every year," responses she was getting. Oh, how this school just loved her. Blech.
Soon she started getting into more detail about dress code, then student conduct, but by then, I had completely tuned her out, as about 98% of the school population in the room has, too. My main focus was the blonde boy, just who was he? I've never seen him before, so was he a new student? One of my new interviewees? I need to know.
Though, I knew I'd have to wait until the principle was done with her speech, so I just laid back and relaxed. I covered my head with my hood and tried to get some sleep. Then, I heard student chattering quite a bit. Too lazy to pull down my hood down and look up to see what was happening, I chose to go with my what my ears heard instead. Then all of a sudden I heard a boy's voice.
"Hello everyone, I'm Ruka Nogi and this is my step-sister – " he gestured to his side, " – Hotaru Imai. We're both new here so I was wondering if any of you guys could tour us around the school. It would be a great appreciation, and girls, just letting you know, I'm free!" he ended winking, almost making me barf my brains out.
It took me a few seconds to do so, but once the names he said registered in my head, I shot up straight in my seat.
Ruka Nogi & Hotaru Imai. Two more interviewees on my list.
This was just perfect. I have already found three of my interviewees! I bet Wakako only found that one name! How lucky!
BSOTY, here I come.
End of chapter 2! How much more boring can it get?
