Months
"Say, Glinda," Elphaba mumbled sleepily.
"What?"
"How long have we been at Shiz?"
"I don't know! I just lost track of time…I guess a couple months. Why?"
"Just because."
"Because why?"
"I wanted to keep track of how many days and weeks and months I knew you."
"Elphie, you're so sweet! Thanks!"
"You're welcome, Glinda."
Then they fell asleep, hoping for many more months together.
