This drabble was inspired by a line in someone else's story about bad boys not being emotionally attached and bam! This thing pops up.

Bad Boy, Bad boy, Whatcha Gonna Do?
Why do I have such a penchant for bad boys?
Well, for one, they can pull off the sexy-scruff look very well.
Especially in worn denim and a wool coat.
For another, they bring adventure because they are different from what you've always known and this breaks up the monotony of the single, working life that is being lived.
Especially when the adventure involves a secret government organization hell-bent on killing this bad boy… nothing more adventurous than that.
They also seem to have this whole "tough guy" attitude that makes a girl just want to break down those walls and see the warm filling inside.
Especially when that guy lived in an abandoned warehouse with a security system (that was never used).
They also tend to have some (or many) physical features that are downright sexy and sometimes have that boyish feel.
Scars can be sexy, and I've always been one for the scruffy hair… did I mention those amazingly deep eyes?
But for all intents and purposes, bad boys are "safe," in a way, because nine times out of ten, they aren't looking to get emotionally attached. This means that you don't have to get emotionally attached, and when they leave, it doesn't hurt as bad… which is what we all try to avoid, right?
So what do you do when the bad boy you are currently interested in has all the above factors and is quite emotionally attached to you, if not head over heels in love with you?
You run for the hills, that's what.
Except that he's in those hills… the exact hills I happen to be running towards…
Stupid heart… the damn thing just does what it wants to.
