Joy gulped and said softly, "I'm supposed to be in control. Not her."
...
"What the hell is he doing? He's going to kill her!"
...
"So now we know everyone's sicknesses and from that we can find the leader. But, wait... What is Fabian's sickness?"
Amber looked at Nina with a strange glint in her eyes, "No one knows."
...
Mara couldn't believe what was happening.
Her man was kissing another girl.
...
"I love you."
Joy just stared at him.
"Aren't you going to say somethi-," he was interrupted by the slamming of the door.
She had left without saying a word.
...
Nina's eyes widened considerably.
"Wait, you're the leader?"
Before Nina could get an answer out of the boy, another person came out from the darkness.
"No, I am."
...
"NO," she screamed.
She ran to his bed as fast as possible.
His eyes were closed. He was already dead.
...
"This is all your fault!"
"Nice to see you too, Joy."
(a few lines down)
"Well, now that we know who you are, I am going to kill you."
