"Take me back! We must get Sam!" Dean was practically screaming at Gabriel's face.
"Dean! Get a grip! We can't defeat Abbadon!"
"No! You don't understand, Gabe. I can't leave him there.. I need him, Gabe.." he started to break down.
"Dean, Meg is with him, I'm sure she'll take care of him and find a way to get back here" Castiel tried to comfort him.
"She was captured for over a year, Cas! Tortured! And now she's in Sam! How do we know she won't spent another year rotten in hell?" Dean shook his head as tears started to roll down his cheek, "And.. And how can you be so calm? Don't you care about them?!"
"Of course I care!.. I'm as devastated as you are, Dean. But you have to calm down. She won't rot in hell, she got Sam with her. Sam won't let her be hurt just as much as Meg won't let Abaddon hurt Sam. They'll protect each other"
"Guys.." Kevin's weak voice startled them. They all sighed and stop arguing, then approached the couch where the young prophet laid.
"Kev, heya big guy. You alright?" Dean wiped his tears and forced a smile.
"I'm fine. Thank you.." He sat up and smiled at the guys surrounded him. "I heard that they got Sam and Meg?"
"Yes.. We need to get them back" Castiel nodded.
"I think I know a way" Kevin smirked.
"What? How?" Dean was impatient.
"When I was in hell, I met my mom. I was tortured next to my mother. They were determent to break me in every way possible. But she gave me strength, like she always does"
Dean and Castiel looked at each other, but said nothing, and let Kevin continue.
"But that's not the thing.. My mom said, God was speaking to her"
"God?!" The three said in unison.
"Yeah, I don't know how to explain this, but she heard voices, whispering in her ears. He said 'don't be afraid, I am here'"
"Did he said anything else?"
"She said, she knew she will see me again, because God told her. He also told her He is Alpha and Omega"
"What the hell was that supposed to mean?" Dean glowered.
"It means He is the beginning and the end" Castiel said.
"I know that" Dean frowned "but what is that had to do with our situation" he turned to Kevin, "Are you sure she not a demon? that she's a hallucination they created"
"I'm pretty sure" Kevin sighed, "I don't know why God chooses to speak to my mom, but I think we should start researching on Alpha and Omega. She said He said that repeatedly"
"Wait.." A smile formed on Gabriel's face "I'll be back"
Cas, Dean and Kevin looked at him questioningly. The angel's smile grew, "I think I know where to find him" then he zapped himself.
Dean patted the young man's back, "You did good, Kev. And about your mom.."
"You'll save her, right? Like Bobby's soul?"
Dean looked at Cas, then nodded , "Yes, Kev. I promised you, we'll save your mother and sent her to Heaven"

"Father.." Gabriel closed his eyes and pray. "Father, I'm listening" The archangel opened his eyes but saw no one is around in the open field. He heard from the distance voice of children giggling and shouting, submerged in their own universe filled with joy ignoring the scorching sun that burnt their skin.
"Father, please.. I just need you to cut Sam from the deal. Everything else, heaven, Metatron, hell and Abaddon.. We'll take care of it ourselves"
The open field stayed calm as the wind blew gently, caressing the Archangel's vessel. Gabriel nodded. "I understand, but.."
Gabriel called again, "Father?"

Stacks of old books scattered the large table. Kevin carried another stack of books up to his chest, returning them to the archives room. Dean gulped his beer and took another book to read when a familiar figure suddenly appeared.
"It's been three days. So, you found him?" Dean asked.
"Yes" Gabriel's answered weakly.
"So?" Dean, Castiel and Kevin looked at the angel expectantly.
"He said this doesn't concerned me"
"What?" Dean snapped, "This is unbelievable!"
"Dean" Gabriel grabbed Dean's wrist. "It means He'll take care of it Himself"
"So that's it?! We'll just wait for Him to jump into action? And just trust Him that everything's gonna be alright?"
"Yes" Gabriel said, "In His own time"
"That is such-" Dean huffed and turned to face Castiel. "Cas, do you trust Him?"
Cas was silent. Kevin looked confused.
"Hmm.. Guys" Kevin finally speak up, "Does this means I can go home now? Back to my old life again?"
They all looked at each other, unable to answer that question.
"Ummphh.."
A voice from the next room startled them, then came the heavy thud of an object falling. They rushed with their weapon ready in hand.
Laid in the middle oh the room was Sam's body, sprawled on the floor, steam and smoke emitting from his body, his clothes scorched.
"Saamm!" Dean ran and hugged his brother, ignoring the heat. "Sam, Sammy! Wake up!"
Castiel, Gabriel and Kevin just watched in shock.
"De.." Sam weakly called his brother.
"I'm here Sammy.. I'm here" Dean whispered, "Cas, help me carry him to bed!"
.
.
.
"Thank you" Sam handed Castiel his empty glass.
"So, you really alright?" Dean asked.
"I'm fine, Dean"
"And Meg?"
Castiel and Gabriel looked at him, waiting for his answer. Sam looked at Castiel apologetically.
"I'm sorry, Cas. Meg's gone"
Castiel' lips pulled to a tight line, he nodded but didn't say anything.
"I don't know where she is. They were torturing us, some demon want to kill her, but Abaddon won't let them, because she was one of the few old demons left, and she held a lot of Lucifer's secret. But Meg was very resilient, she won't give them any of it. Then Abaddon came, tortured us some more, but then... Abaddon started hallucinating, she was speaking to someone, but no one was there.. Suddenly, there was this bright light, blinding us. Next thing I know, I'm here. And I can't feel her inside me anymore"
Dean patted his brother's thigh, "It's okay.. Get some rest, Sammy"
"No, I'm fine Dean, I feel like a new man" He smiled.
Dean looked at Gabe, silently questioning him. Gabriel nodded.
"I don't detect anything's wrong with him"
Sam grinned, "Told you"
Dean stood up, "So, you want something to eat? Some rabbit food?"
"Actually, I miss cheeseburger" Sam got up and wrapped his arm around his brother.
.
.
.
"Cas" Sam called him from outside the former angel's bedroom.
Castiel opened the door.
"Hi, Sam"
"May I come in?"
Cas stepped aside to let him in. Sam sat on the bed.
"Look, Cas. I know how much she-"
"Don't, Sam. Please" Cas seemed a little upset at the mentioning of her.
"Cas.."
"You don't know anything about us!" He growled.
"He called you her unicorn" Sam looked in to the blue eyes.
Cas squinted, confused but said nothing, and sat next to the younger Winchester, so Sam continued.
"She said that you made her do things she never thought possible, you've changed her, Cas"
"I never told her to do anything. She did it because she wants to-" Castiel paused when he realized something, "she.. Wants to... she wants to change?" the former angel stood, grinning like he was back to his crazy state, eyes gleaming, gone were the gloom Sam saw a second ago.
Sam cleared his throat to drew his attention.
"So, do you have any plan to find her?"
Castiel chuckled, "When she wanted to be found, she'll find me" he smiled at Sam, "I understand that now"
Sam awkwardly smiled, "Hmm.. Okay then. I'll see you at dinner"
"Yes.. yes.. Thank you Sam" he opened the door and let him out.
.
.
.
"I'm going to heaven" Gabriel stated over dinner. All eyes shifted and gazed at him.
Dean exchanged glances with Sam.
"Are you sure?" The older Winchester asked.
"I'm not.. But I know it's something I must do" Gabriel said, "as the last of the Archangel, I think, somehow.. I'm responsible. What my brothers did is what making Metatron cast angels out. I have to find ways to make it right"
Castiel nodded in understanding.
"How can we help?" Sam asked. The archangel shrugged a little.
'AS I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH, I TAKE A LOOK AT MY LIFE AND REALIZE THERE'S NOT MUCH LEFT'
They all exchanged glances, irritated with the interruption. Castiel held up his phone.
"Mine, I'm sorry" he said as he pressed the call button.
"Hello? Yes, This is James Novak.. Oh. How is she? What?.. Oh. Alright. We'll be right there"
All eyes fixated on him. Dean furrowed his brow, "Your ringtone is Gangsta's paradise?"
Castiel blushed slightly, "Meg assigned it. By the way, that was the hospital, Meg's vessel is awake"
.
.
.
The ex-angel cautiously approached the brunette laying in the white sheet covered bed, uncertain of what's going to happen. Will the vessel panic when she saw him? Will she remember him?
The brunette opened her eyes.
"Feathers.." she said with a smile.
Castiel released a breath he's been holding.
"Meg?"
The brothers who stood behind him smiled at each other in relieve and quickly surrounded her.
"Yes, it's me" she smiled.
"So, how do you..?" Sam asked.
Meg shrugged her shoulder.
"Honestly, I got no explanation, Moose"
They exchanged glances. Dean finally said, "Let's get you out of here"
.
.
.
Meg looked around the bunker as if she just stepped inside for the first time, Castiel by her side, grinning.
"How long have I been gone?" She asked.
"Almost a month since we went to Hell" the angel answered her.
"Oh.. I don't remember-" she paused when she saw Gabriel in the other room. Their eyes met. The Archangel tilted his head, his eyes squinting in confusion then the next second turned to an expression of surprise.
"Meg?!"
"Gabe?"
"You're an angel?!" His eyes gazed to behind and above her.
"I'm a what?" Meg raised her eyebrows.
Castiel looked at Gabriel who was still looking at Meg.
Meg turned to Castiel, he was confused too.
Let me know what you think :D
