Friday, nearly the weekend.

Alec had decided this weekend was the weekend he was going to tell Jasper. It had to be then or he wouldn't ever pluck up the courage to tell the guy he loved to hang out, that he wanted more, to caress his body, taste his lips, that he was the object of some very naughty fantasies that messed with his senses. Alec was finding it harder not to dream about Jasper. If he was lucky he would just wake up with a raging erection, if not, he'd have to change his underwear and sheets. Thankfully, he lived alone so no one had to hear the moaning, and he knew he moaned - he just couldn't stop himself. A real guttural moan escaped his lips whenever he explored his body and touched himself.

He had a chosen a few modules different from Jasper, so Alec didn't see much of Jasper through out the day. While they both majored in Photography, there were different sub-classes to choose from, like post-modernism, classical, press photography and so forth. Fridays were the days that these sub-lectures were held, so lunchtime was really the only time Alec got to chat to Jasper. If he finished on time, they would also walk home together.

Alec sat down at their usual table and took out the lunch he prepared for himself at home. He'd been running a bit low on lunchmeat and cheese and had no bread so had opted for leftovers from the night before. He stirred his fried noodles and chicken mindlessly, half waiting for Jasper to appear and also wondering how to plan out the weekend.

Meanwhile, Jasper's lecture was running late. The lecturer had been late and was now opting to continue teaching despite it being lunch. Jas fidgeted, ignoring the lecture and focussing his attention on the clock in the hall. The second hand seemed to slow, and Jasper caught himself growling in frustration. He'd had enough of today's lecture on "the importance of shutter speed and shutter priority mode in night photography". He'd experimented already and had a fair understanding of the topic. In fact, he couldn't remember why he'd come to the lecture.

"Christ's sake, Jasper, sit bloody still. You're rocking the entire row with your fidgeting. God knows what you're so desperate to get out for," Emmett swore quietly.

Riley was asleep next to Jasper and woke with a start. "Guys, quit it," he said dazedly, before putting his head back on the desk, resuming his slumber.

"Sorry," retorted Jasper. "Ugh! Why did you guys have to drag me to this? Riley, you're sleeping, and Emmet, you aren't even taking notes. I could be having lunch with Alec by now."

Emmet shrugged. "Wanted someone to suffer through this with me," he joked. "Nah, I thought maybe it would be better than this. Sorry, I guess," he offered up.

The lights finally came up, the lecture was at last over. Jas grabbed his bag. "See you guys later," he said and shot out the lecture hall.

As Alec finished up his noodles, he glanced around the cafeteria, hoping that Jasper had arrived. Jasper hadn't shown or texted, which was odd. He put the lid on the container and grabbed his stuff. He was a little pissed off that Jas had ditched him, or at least not sent him a message to say he was going to be late. He gave one final look around before leaving in a huff. He found himself getting more tense as time went on. He hadn't masturbated in a couple of weeks and really needed a release, and the whole Jas thing was just making it worse.

Jas rushed into the cafeteria, but there was no sign of Alec. "Fuck!" he cursed under his breath.

He'd left his cell phone at home and hadn't been able to send Alec a message. He knew that would annoy Alec if he'd been there. Jas sat in a corner and quickly ate the roll he bought. He looked around, people sat eating and chatting, but still no Alec. It was just like him to forget his phone. He even remembered where he'd put the device; he'd have to search once he got home.

The afternoon lectures finished on time for the both of them, and Alec waited for Jas outside the entrance to the university. When Jas finally appeared, neither of them said anything. They started walking in total silence, each slightly annoyed with the other.

"Look, about earlier…" Jas started to say, trying to break the silence as they rounded the corner to approach Alec's house.

"What!?" Alec almost spat back. He'd been growing more and more annoyed the longer the silence went on. Why didn't Jasper say anything for earlier? He hadn't even offered an apology.

"I'm sorry, Alec. I left my phone at home, and I couldn't message you to say my lecture was running over. Please, don't hate me," Jasper said, slightly shaken. Again there was more silence as they walked up to Alec's door.

Alec went to put the key into the door when Jasper spoke again, "Alec, I really am sorry. I am just forgetful. I didn't mean to flake out on you. Can we just talk about it?"

Alec spun round, eyes ablaze. He wanted to scream. He wanted to tell Jasper everything. Alec breathed heavily for a moment, trying to calm himself down, but it wasn't working. Jas had riled him up, and now he just wanted to come clean about everything.

"Jas, I'm gay, too. I like guys, and I think I am in love with you" he blurted out before he could stop himself. A huge wave of anxiety rushed over his body as the reality of what he'd just said hit him.

Jas was stunned and stared at him. "Uh huh…" Jas said disbelievingly "Right Alec, you expect me to just believe that after a silent walk that suddenly you like cock and want me. You got to understand that sounds just a little suspicious."

Alec stared back at Jas, not believing what he'd just heard. "Jas, what the hell? What the fuck? I just came out to you, and you tell me that you think I am lying, that my feelings for you are bullshit. Is that you are trying to tell me?" Alec blubbered out, tears starting to stream down his face. Jas started to say something, but Alec cut him off. "Jas just get the fuck out my sight. Just leave now…" Alec said, becoming slightly hysterical. "LEAVE NOW!" he shouted before opening his door, running in, and slamming it shut.

Alec collapsed on the entrance rug, tears now streaming down his face. He began to sob heavily, his whole body shaking.

Jasper, the first person he came out to, had just rejected him.
