Real Love
Lee…
Lee, please help me. I need you.
Lee…
Lee, please help me. I need you.
Lee…
Lee, please help me. I need you.
Lee clenched his fist. It had been a couple hours since they have started their search for Riku. They all were beginning to panic. Tenten sighed. "If only we had some clue to go on. Anything!"
Neji nodded in agreement.
Lee closed his eyes. There had to been something he was missing. Any little thing that would lead him to Riku.
Lee…
Lee, please help me. I need you.
Lee…
Lee, please help me. I need you.
Lee…
Lee, please help me. I need you.
"East!" Lee suddenly shouted.
"What?" Tenten asked.
"She is east from here," Lee shouted before dashing off in that direction. The other two and Pakkun followed after him.
"Lee, are you sure?" Neji asked.
"Yes. I heard her!" Lee said with a nod.
"How could you hear her?" Tenten asked.
"I just know!" Lee shout again. "Just follow me!"
"Pakkun, go get the others," Neji ordered.
"Right," Pakkun nodded and hurried off to tell the others.
A short time later, Lee skidded to a stop in front of a small wooden cabin. It was tucked nicely in a grove of tree so it wouldn't easily be found. Neji noted this. Whoever this cabin belonged too put it here on purpose. It was a perfect hiding spot. Lee wasted no time in walking up to the cabin and punching the door in. His eyes widened at Takashi sitting in a wooden chair, his elbow resting on the table and his chin in his hand. Takashi wore a smug look on his face as he smirked at the three.
Rage built up in Lee as his eyes spotted Riku laying on the bed. Her face was stained with tears and her expression shattered. Tenten rushed over to Riku and grabbed the sheet at the end of the bed. "You sick coward! How dare you do this to her!"
"Do what? I only made her a woman. She is mine now," Takashi replied in a bored tone.
Lee charged at Takashi in a blinding rage. He hit Takashi so hard that both of them flew through the wall of the cabin and through a few trees. Neji followed Lee without a word while Tenten stayed with Riku. Tenten knew Takashi was a dead man. There was nothing she or anyone else could say or do to stop Lee. Not that she wanted to. She felt like running a kunai through Takashi's heart herself. "Riku?"
Riku remained silent and out of touch with reality as Tenten helped her sit up. Tenten fixed the sheet around Riku's body and fixed it to where it was like a dress. She had to cut off the end so Riku wouldn't trip on it. After that she helped Riku off the bed and heard the others arriving. Kakashi, Guy, Sakura and Hinata were the only ones who entered the cabin as the rest remained outside to watch the one sided battle.
Kakashi and Guy remained a respectful distance as Sakura and Hinata rushed to Riku's side. Sakura looked her over for physical bruises. Since no one knew what to say at this point them made their way outside. Just as they stepped outside Lee and Neji were walking back to the cabin. Both had blood on them. Everyone wondered what had happened between Lee and Takashi but never asked as Riku was right there.
Riku's eyes were wide as she watched Lee and Neji walk back over to them. Lee had the look of a scolded puppy when their eyes meet. Riku lost consciousness. Tenten kneel down with her and held her. Lee rushed over to them. He placed his hand on her head and stroked her hair. "Riku…I am so sorry."
"We should get Riku back to the village," Kakashi said.
"Yes," Lee nodded then reached to pick her up.
"Lee, no!" Tenten shouted and knocked his hands away.
"Tenten, what? I was just going to…" Lee started but stopped when Sakura placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Lee, it would be better if I carried her," Sakura said softly.
"What? I do not…"
"Lee," Lee looked up a Guy. "Riku is…not going to be very comfortable with guys for a while."
Lee then remember the state Riku was in when they arrived in the cabin. Tears stung his eyes, but he nodded in understanding.
Two months later…
"She still won't let him in. I'm really starting to worry," Daichi said. He was sitting with his arms on his legs, leaning forward as his hand dangled between his knees. The ninja, minus the sensei and Lee, were sitting around with him. No one knew what to really say or do.
"Daichi, I know it's hard. But she knows were all here for her. She'll come around in time. She just needs to deal with this in her own way," Sakura said. "I wish I could give more advice, but…"
"We all at a loss," Ino said.
"All we can do is be here and show we support her," Shikamaru added. Everyone went quiet and turned their eyes to the stairs.
"Riku, please?" Lee begged again. "I do not know what to do. I just…I do not like that you have shut me out."
Lee leaned his forehead against the door. "Riku…"
…
Riku was sitting on her bed with her knees pulled up to her chest. The moon shown bright in her bedroom. The only other one in there was Pakkun. He was really the only one she didn't object to coming into her room. She didn't know why. She just wanted to be alone, but didn't want to be alone. Occasionally the muffled voices of her friends would come through her door, but she couldn't let them in. She didn't know how to face them or more it was Lee she couldn't really face.
Riku lifted her head up. She had cried to much that she didn't have any tears left. Or if felt like it. Pakkun sat up as Riku got off the bed and headed for the door. She reached for the knob but stopped. She turned and headed for the window. She opened it and climbed out with Pakkun following her.
Her mind was blank as she walked through the moonlit village. It was late so no one was around to even notice the young girl. When her mind back back to reality she noticed her feet had brought her to Lee's training ground. She walked up to the tree Lee often used as a punching bag and packed her hand on it.
Pakkun watched her then turned his attention to the sound of footsteps coming up behind him. He remained quiet as the footsteps passed him and walked up to Riku. Riku placed both hands on the tree and tears spilled from her eyes again. "Just go away. Leave me alone."
"No. I will not do that," Lee replied softly. "Riku, I can not even beginning to understand what you are going through or what you are feeling. I do not know what to say to help you. Please, just talk to me."
"Stop it! Just go away!" Riku whipped around. She wanted him to go, but she wanted him to stay. She just felt so confused. She didn't know what she wanted anymore. "Go away, Lee!"
"I will not! I will not leave you! Do you not understand that by now?!" Lee snapped at her. "Please!"
"I said go away!" Riku yelled. Lee rushed forward and wrapped his arms around her. Riku struggled to get free of him. "Let me go!"
"No! I will no longer be apart from you!" Lee held on tighter to her. "Riku, please? Please stop running away from me. I…I need you."
Riku stopped struggling as Lee spoke softly to her and started shaking. "Do you not understand yet? How I feel? Do you really not feel it?"
When Lee's grip on her lightened up Riku shoved him away from her. "I can't be with you, Lee. I just can't. Not anymore. He took too much away from me. I can never be the same again. I will not do this anymore."
"Riku?" Lee asked a bit confused and scared at the words she was saying.
"I will not do this anymore!" Riku screamed as she raised her right hand up into the hair, revealing to a very stunned Lee and Pakkun a kunai she had pulled from Lee's pouch before pushing him away. She plunged the kunai down towards her stomach.
Lee rushed forward, gabbed both wrists and pinning her against the tree. "You idiot! What are you doing?!"
"I can't do this, Lee. I'm not strong enough," Riku cried as she refused to look at him. "I can't do this."
"You are mistaken, Riku," Lee replied in a soft tone. "You are strong. You are a lot stronger than you realize. You have endured so much. I know you well now, Riku. You're just scared. You think you can not handle this, but you can. And you are not alone. Everyone is here to help you. I am here to help you."
Lee reached up and placed on her stomach. "I do not care that this child biologically belongs to another man. I will raise it as my own. I will be there for you every step of the way. You will not harm this child. You would never forgive yourself if you do. So…please…do not hurt yourself or our child."
Crying Lee released her and dropped down to his knees. Riku dropped her hand to her side and allowed the kunai to fall to the ground. She then kneeled down herself and put her arms around Lee. "I'm sorry, Lee. I am so sorry."
Pakkun smiled as the two teens held on tight to each other. He then looked up at the moon. "They still have a long way to go, but at least they're going together. Right?"
"Right," Kakashi said as he and Guy nodded.
Roughly seven months later Riku gave birth to a little girl. Must to her and everyone delight the baby didn't look like Takashi at all. Riku squirmed nervously as Lee stood by her bed with the baby in his arms. "Riku?"
"I'm…fine," Riku replied, but she was clearly not sure of what she should do. She still wasn't use to the idea of being a mom. All her friends were their and could clearly see this.
"It's fine, Riku," Tsunade said. "Just take your time."
A few minutes later Lee finally placed the baby in Riku's arms. Lee smiled as Riku's unsure eyes changed. She was now accepting her baby. Riku looked at Lee when he sat down on the bed beside her. "She's beautiful."
"Just like her mother," Lee said as he kissed her forehead. Lee then turned his attention to the baby. He cooed at her and wiggled his finger at the baby. Riku half listened to what her friends where saying about her baby and spoiled she was gonna be as her eyes were firmly set on Lee. Through her pregnancy Lee stayed by her side. He even moved into Niwa's house, with his permission of course. Lee stayed in the guest room, but spent a lot of nights in Riku's room. He wanted to make sure she was alright and didn't need anything. Basically he was just being over protective and a bit nervous. Lee had also proposed to Riku. Riku accepted and they both agreed to wait until they were at east twenty to marry.
FINALLY! This whole lack of creativity is very annoying. I had to force this last you chapters out and I do not like them one bit. Well, at least they're done and it's done. I miss writing and drawing so much T.T if anyone have an advice that could help me get motivated again? Has any of you been this drained of creativity?
