Disclaimer: I do not own Kick Buttowski.
So I had this chapter all written up but since I had rewritten the last one I had to change this one.
I felt bad about how long I've made you all wait for updates so TADA! Here's another one! :D
Anyways thanks lots for the reviews and I hope to get the next chapter up soon.
On with the story!

Brianna watched quietly from the bedroom doorway as Kick lay in his bed, tossing a ball in the air. To anyone else, he seemed perfectly relaxed, but Brianna noticed how he caught it with an ease that betrayed how stressed he actually was. True she didn't always get along with her brother, but that never meant she didn't care.

"So why are you still home?"

Kick jumped at her voice and the ball hit his face, "Ugh… Brianna, don't you know how to knock?"

"I've been here for the last five minutes," She responded with an eye roll, "And you still haven't answered my question."

Her brother scoffed, "Shouldn't you be getting ready for Homecoming?"

"I could ask you the same thing since you usually get ready hours before you pick up Kendall." She shrugged, "You normally do that right about now."

"I'm not going this year."

Brianna raised an eyebrow as Kick once again began tossing the ball in the air, "Jackie and Gunther called."

"Meh,"

"They've been calling all day." She said with exasperation, "I'm surprised they haven't come over yet."

The pageant-girl glared at her brother when he merely grunted in reply once more before stomping over to his bedside and flipping the mattress for said brother to fall to the ground.

"HEY!"

"There is nothing more annoying than you acting like a baby!" She scolded, "I know what's been happening for the past month and let me tell you that you're acting like an idiot!"

"Listen Brianna-"

"No you listen to me!" She crossed her arms, "I happen to know for a fact Kendall was going to tell you she had accepted that exchange students invitation, which was only because he guilt-tripped her into it, and that she had decided to back out of it the moment you two made up before the guy appeared and ruined everything… again."

Kick glared up at her and adjusted himself to lean against his bedframe, "And just how do you know this?"

"I have my resources." She said in a smug tone.

"Jackie and Gunther?"

"They gave me a lot of information, but I got Kendall to tell me herself. Oh don't give me that look," Brianna said with an eye roll as Kick's expression became suspicious.

"You know as well as I do Kendall's not a very good liar* and she doesn't have a reason to anyways." She sat down beside him, "So what's your side of the story?"

"As if you didn't know," Kick scoffed again, "That guy comes in and starts flattering Kendall while making the rest of us look bad and then yesterday, right after she said she wasn't gonna talk to him anymore, I find out she's going to Homecoming with him."

"I doubt that's how things really went." Brianna said with a shrug, "You didn't give her a chance to tell you, and Kendall's already suspecting that French kid not being what he seems. I guess yesterdays 'misunderstanding' didn't work out as well as he wanted if she's ticked off at him."

"She's mad?"

Brianna nodded, "Yup, and I thought Jackie had some lungs." Kick hummed in response.

As they fell into silence, Kick glanced at his sister and smiled; the Buttowski siblings clashed more than any family he knew, but they were able to rely on one another when it mattered. Besides being the same height as Jackie and Kendall, Brianna hadn't changed drastically since her hairstyle and clothes were still the same (an unfortunate issue in Kick's opinion), but having her sit beside him while he was sulking showed Kick just how much she had grown up.

"You really should talk to her." Brianna said finally.

"No."

"Eh, your choice," He gave her an uneasy look as she got up and headed towards the door.

"Where are you going?"

"Some of us have a date for Homecoming and need to get ready," She paused at the doorway, "I know things seem pretty bad right now Kick, but if you keep this up you'll drive her away. And be honest; do you really think you'll be able to see her with another guy knowing you had a chance but threw it away by not forgiving a misunderstanding?"

And with that, she left him to his thoughts.

Kendall sat on her bed, hugging her knees to her chest when the door to her room opened and her dad peaked in, "Kendall? Aren't you going to get ready for the dance?"

"Yeah... I'm just... taking my time." She said with a forced smile as he sat beside her with a curious look.

"Are you alright, sweetheart?"

"Yeah... Don't worry about me, dad. I'm fine really. You're going to meet up with mom tonight aren't you? Are you done getting ready?"

Mr. Perkins straightened his tie, "Almost, I just have to stop by and get flowers. Since I have to drive to the next city I always have to buy them right before I leave Mellowbrook." He chuckled, "She always makes a fuss about that, nothing but fresh flowers for her. Your mother has such a unique way of playfully getting under my skin. But that's what I love about her." He turned to his daughter, "You sure you're alright?"

Kendall waved her hand dismissively, "I just want to take my time. You know, arrive fashionably late."

He shook his head, "Your mother's like that too, well don't be too long. Don't want Kick to wait forever for you." He got up and patted Kendall's head as she did her best to hold a happy smile on her face and keep her voice cheerful.

"Tell mom I said hi! And drive safely!"

"Don't worry about me, worry about our big date tonight. Oh and tell Kick I said hi too."

Kendall waited patiently for the sound of her dad's car to fade before allowing her thoughts to drift again. There was no way she was going to Homecoming with André and she knew the polite thing to do was call and tell him she had changed her mind. Yet part of her didn't care; she was absolutely furious with him for all the tampering he had done and irritated at herself for not listening to her friends. After hours of investigating, with a little help from Brianna, Kendall had more than enough proof to keep André from trying to lie his way out of the confrontation she had planned. If she did go to Homecoming she could confront him there, but it'd be in front of the entire school and that seemed too… heartless. There was always the option of cancelling and meeting him at some other place, but she didn't want to ruin Jackie's date with Gunther. And Kick…

She glanced at her window, many seconds passing before she finally crossed the room and rested her hand on the frame. I don't need to keep it open. She reminded herself. It's not like he's going to come in and sweep me off my feet...

The sound it made as Kendall closed the window echoed in the silence around her, making it harder for her to pull away and walk over to her closet to pull out her dress. Hanging it on the door, Kendall examined the floor-length, spaghetti-strap pink dress as the silver sequence glowed in the light. Her eyes stung with pressure and tears threatened to fall as she remembered who she had thought of when she bought the dress.

If I hadn't been so… so careless, I wouldn't be in this mess; I would be with my friends, and I'd be dancing with Kick and he'd tease me then I'd yell at him and…

Kendall wrapped her arms around herself, as if this would somehow help her regain control. "I'm so sorry Kick, I... I wish you were here..." She whispered.

CRASH!

Kendall whirled around and found her window broken with glass all over the floor. In the mist of it, Kick sat on the floor rubbing his head, "Seriously… of all the days for that window… Kendall!"

He jumped to his feet and rushed towards her, pulling her into a hug, "I'm sorry! I should've let you explain things to me like I promised instead of going off like that! I just got mad and I wasn't thinking straight and acted like a jerk but I swear I never meant to hurt you!" He pulled back and ran a hand thru her hair, "You're my best friend Kendall and I hate the idea of losing you to someone else."

Kendall stared at him before burying her face in his chest and wrapping her arms around him, "I'm so sorry I never believed any of you...any of you! I just… I just… I'm sorry!"

She tightened her grip, "I missed you so much! I need you, Kick."

Kick kissed her hair lovingly and rubbed her back to sooth the muffled sobs she let out. "It's ok, Kendall. I'll always be here."

He pulled away and started drying her tears, "That's what friends are for right?"

She shook her head, "No. You're so much more than that."

Placing a hand at the back of his neck, Kendall pulled him towards her and kissed him.**

André sighed as he closed his phone once again; Kendall hadn't called or responded to any of his own and it was unlike her to be late to any event. For a moment he considered leaving and heading towards her home, but the dance had barely begun and he didn't want to make it seem as though he was overly anxious for something to happen.

Regardless of whether she is late or not, the end result is all that matters. He thought as he pulled out a key-card from his pocket.

André raised an eyebrow and hid the card once more as a young girl wearing a long violet-blue dress and curled blonde hair passed him into the school with her date. Brianna, if he recalled correctly, often competed in beauty pageants and was known for often getting what she wanted. He smirked; spoiled ones were fun to play with just as much as the smart ones.

André glanced at his watch then attempted to call Kendall once more. After the third attempt, he heard an annoyingly familiar voice behind him.

"I'd give it up if I were you; she's not going to answer."

He turned and gave the girl a charming smile, "Dear Jackie, you look lovely, not that you do not always do, however tonight you look exceptionally beautiful. Gunther is extraordinarily lucky to have such a fetching young woman escorting him."

She was wearing a long-sleeved aquamarine-blue dress that brushed her ankles and showed off her silver heels as she walked. The sleeves were transparent and covered in silver glitter, giving her an almost glowing look. Jackie had picked it out since blue was her boyfriend's favorite color and while she adored the attention Gunther gave her, she absolutely hated it when André tried flattering her.

"Save the compliments." She snapped, "I suggest you head home, because Kendall's not coming."

He shook his head, "You and I both know Kendall would never break a promise, and if she did she would have told me. She is not so ill-mannered to simply not tell me if an inconvenience occurred."

"Well I just heard from Kick's little sister, who also happens to be Kendall's neighbor, that your 'date' isn't coming." Jackie crossed her arms and gave André a triumphant smirk, "She also told me Kick was headed to Kendall's house. How does it feel knowing all your 'hard work' went to waste, hmm? Because I'm sure she's never gonna listen to you once Kick clears things up. The best part is they're probably the best of friends again and you're not there to ruin it!"

Andre's eyes narrowed, and Jackie nearly trembled at the look in them; they were cruel and full of an aggressive loathing that shook her to her very core. Without a word, he turned and headed towards his limo leaving her frozen to her spot as she watched him leave.

"Jackie?" Gunther opened the doors and looked outside, sighing in relief when he found his girlfriend, "Come back inside, it's getting cold and we don't want you… Jackie?"

He placed a hand on her shoulder, causing her to let out a squeak of surprise while throwing a punch at him, "Whoa Jackie, calm down it's just me."

"Gunther?" She blinked a few times before throwing her arms around him.

"Uh… yeah… Are you ok?"

Jackie shook her head and pulled away, "We gotta get to Kendall's house! I told André what Brianna said and I have a really bad feeling about the look he gave before he left! Come on!"

She grabbed his hand and ran towards the parking lot.

Kick responded instantly; wrapping his arms around her waist as their lips moved against each other's in a tender and loving motion. They had kissed in the past, but none of those times came close to the sweet and wonderful feeling coursing thru them. Kendall's eyes shot open when he pulled away, but a gentle blush graced her cheeks when she noticed Kick's eyes were full of passionate love and heartfelt desire that suddenly made her feel shy.

"Kendall..." He took one of her hands and placed a gentle kiss on it before cradling it to his heart, "I love you."

Her blush deepened, "Really?"

Kick smiled at her timid voice, "Yeah."

"I…I love you too." She whispered back.

"I know."

He captured her mouth in another kiss and enjoyed her small blissful sighs, giving her one of his own when she freed her hands and took off his helmet to move her fingers thru his black hair. Even with constantly examining her, Kick realized his eyes had not given him justice; she was so soft and had the daintiest wrists it made her seem breakable! Kendall pulled away, gasping for breath as she rested her forehead against Kick's, and he waited patiently for her to open her eyes, giving her an adoring smile when she did. Kendall let out a small giggle when he began nuzzling her neck, pouting when he pulled away to look at her, laughing as he did.

"Oh come on Kendall, there's nothing wrong with being ticklish."

"Knowing you, you'll probably try using that against me the next time I'm mad at you."

"Yeah probably," He kissed the tip of her nose, "But you'll forgive me anyways."

"You're lucky you're cute…" She muttered.

"What was that?" Kick gave her a smug grin, "Did you just call me cute?"

"NO!"

He laughed again, "You're right, 'cute' doesn't do me justice. I'd say I'm charming, handsome not to mention sexy!"

Kendall playfully smacked his head, "Keep that attitude up and I won't let you kiss me anymore."

"You like kissing me too much to do that." He said proudly.

"You wanna bet on that Clarence Buttowski?"

He thought for a moment, "Nah, I think I'd rather take you out on a date since that's what boyfriends do for their girlfriends." Kick smiled when Kendall's face turned bright red.

"Since when am I your girlfriend?"

"Alright, alright." Kick laughed and pulled to her bed, resting his back against the headboard as he pulled Kendall into his lap, "Will you be my girlfriend?"

She rolled her eyes at him, "Only because you asked nicely."

"Aw come on Kendall, it's the least you could do for taking off and dumping Helmet somewhere in here. You know how special she is."

"You're kidding right?" She raised an eyebrow at him, "Your helmet is my competition?"

"I'll have you know, Helmet's been with me since I first started stunts. But I wouldn't worry too much," Kick ran his fingers thru her hair with a mischievous smirk on his face, "She's only a close second."

"Oh you're so lucky I love you."

Kendall pulled his face to her and captured his lips once more, wrapping her arms around his neck while he wrapped his around her waist. The kiss was gentle and caring, full of pent up emotion and Kendall couldn't help but melt in his embrace. A small noise echoed in the background and it took Kick a few moments to realize someone was frantically ringing the doorbell. At same time that he chose to ignore it, choosing to give his girlfriend all his undivided attention, Kendall noticed the sound and gently pulled away from her boyfriend, taking deep breaths to calm her heart,.

"No," Kick sighed, "It's nothing, ignore it" He took her hand and began kissing it as he looked at her.

He doesn't want this to end either... Kendall thought. She leaned up and gave him a quick kiss.

"I'll be right back" She whispered.

"No..." He held on to her wrist as she began to get up.

Kendall gave him a haughty smile and nuzzled his neck, causing him to loosen his grip. "Don't worry, in a few moments you'll have me all to yourself again." She quickly pulled herself off him and left the room, leaving a stunned Kick staring at the closed-door.

"UGH!" Kick glared at the ceiling in frustration.

After four years of light teasing, intense flirting (and a month of dealing with a certain French nuisance) their perfect moment had been interrupted! It wasn't fair! His irritation drained as he remembered Kendall's blushing face; she was his girlfriend now and once she finished talking to whoever was at the front door they'd have more moments, hopefully they would stay uninterrupted.

Kick glanced around the room before getting up to look for his helmet, smiling all the while. As soon as he finished putting it on, he heard Kendall scream.

Kendall glanced into a hallway mirror and straightened her appearance before she made her way down the stairs. She couldn't help but feel irritated at whoever was frantically ringing the doorbell since they had interrupted her moment with Kick. Kendall let out a dreamy sigh before giggling softly as she thought of her new boyfriend; their confession had been sweet and romantic before he accidently tickled her. But his ability to make her laugh and forgive him was one of the many things that made him awesome.

"Hold on, I'm coming!" She called as she reached the door, "Yes- AH!"

Kendall gasped as the person shoved her back into her home and pinned her against the wall by the door. She grimaced at the slight pain then looked up to find herself face-to-face with an unfamiliar Andre; his eyes were filled with anger and hatred, giving him a desperate and deadly look.

The sudden adrenaline rush was unlike anything Andre had experienced before, and part of him knew he was being overly impulsive, but he had never suffered having his victory snatched right when it was in his grasp. The sensation it gave him was overwhelming; it made him feel restless and agitated yet menacing and dominant, as if he could take any opponent that challenged him. His anger only intensified the feeling.

"Where is he?" He demanded, "I know he's here! Tell me where he is hiding!"

Andre let out a grown when she flinched at his voice, "What is wrong my petite flur?" He released one of her shoulders and brushed the tips of his fingers against her cheek.

"Do not tell me you are afraid?"

Kendall felt the blood drain from her body and quickly turned away, earning another growl from him. This isn't right. She thought worriedly, I don't want him touching me at all!

"AAAHHH!" Kendall let out a scream as Andre he pulled her from the wall and threw her into one of the arm chairs in the living room, knocking over a vase in the process.

The next thing she knew, Andre was pinning her arms to her sides and leaning over her, "I will not lose to that imprudent and senseless imbecile!" He seethed "I always get what I want,"

Kendall flinched as his eyes trailed her form; it wasn't the same as when Kick had examined her, because Kick never looked at her with an animalistic desire and his eyes never threatened to harm her if didn't get what he wanted.

KICK! She screamed inwardly, HELP ME!

*I personally don't think Kendall's a good liar.
**A lot of people were probably waiting for that kiss haha…
