Ch: 2 Day One
~Yuri~
My hair was still wet from the shower I took before going to bed. I rolled over and curled up. I had the bottom bunk and Miri the top. I was right, the beds did feel like clouds. I opened my eyes, but couldn't see anything due to the darkness.
After about twenty minutes of repeating the routine of rolling over and looking around the darkness I gave up on trying to sleep. I rolled out of bed and stretched before leaving the room. I was quickly lost, winding up somewhere that looked like a living room. Kyoya was sitting on the couch.
"What are you doing up so late?" He asked me.
"I could ask you the same." I answered as I walked over to him.
"I couldn't sleep. Please sit down."
I sat next to him. He had a clipboard that he was writing on with a pen. "What's that for?" He smiled slightly. "I take it I'm not getting an answer."
His smile grew "Shouldn't you be sleeping?"
"Shouldn't you?"
"You have school tomorrow. You don't want to be tired on our first day"
"You have school too"
"Which one are you? You and your sister look identical."
"Yuri! And stop avoiding my questions."
"Such a temper we have"
I crossed my arms and grumbled. Kyoya chuckled slightly at me which didn't help my mood.
"If it helps I could get you some tea."
I looked at him, not sure if he was serious about getting me tea. "Do you have warm milk?"
"Is that what you want?"
I nodded. Kyoya set down his clipboard and walked out of the room. About five minutes later he came back to holding two glasses. He handed one to me.
"Thanks"
"No problem. You're our guest, it's out job to keep you and your sister happy."
I smiled and started drinking the warm milk.
"You should check out the host club tomorrow."
"Where's that?"
"Music room three, I can show you in the morning if you like"
"It's fine, I think I can manage."
After I finished my milk Kyoya helped me find my way back to our bedroom. He left me there to take care of myself. I crawled into the bed and was soon out cold. I slept well into the morning. When I woke up I could hear the shower going. I crawled out of bed and went to the closet.
After I put the dress on I went the the mirror ans did my hair up in a bun with one of the hair pins mom gave us. When I had my makeup done Miri came out of the bathroom tugging at her dress collar. She obviously didn't like it. Her hair was up in a simple pony, not fancy enough if you ask me.
"Where's your makeup?"
"You know I don't like that stuff" Miri answered.
"But this is a high class school"
Miri shrugged and headed out the door.
~ Miri ~
The limo was a bit fancy. Kyoya sat across from us on the way to school. It was unnervingly silent. Yuri had her arms folded across her lap, but I used my left arm to hold my head as I looked out the window. When we got to school the driver opened the door to let us out. I was the only one who thanked him, it made him smile which made me feel a bit better.
The school was way too large. It looked like a cross between a mansion and a castle to me. I stared at it in awe as we walked to the front doors. I did, however, notice the statue that looked as if it were peeing into the pond. I wasn't sure what to think of it, but I was pretty sure I do not like it.
Kyoya lead us to class to make sure we did not get lost in the maze-like halls. We sat behind the red haired twins in class. They were mostly focused on this brown haired boy who sat between them. It almost looked to me as if they were fighting over him, but they didn't know they were fighting. It entertained me how they could say the same exact thing at the same time. Though their voices were slightly different, so I figured I might be able to tell them apart some day, but for now I had no idea which was which.
When it came time to take notes I dug a pen out of my bag. I pressed it to my journal to write when it exploded in my face. Next to me I could hear Yuri snickering. The red haired twins turned to look at her, then to me, then to each other before they burst out laughing together.
My heart dropped. I felt like crying. "You suck!" I shouted at Yuri before getting out of my desk, only to trip over my dress and land flat on my face. The entire class started laughing, with the exception of the boy sitting between the twins. I got up and ran off to find the nearest bathroom. I passed Kyoya in the hall before I went into the bathroom.
I washed the ink off my face and cried for a good ten minutes before I finally went back out into the hall. Kyoya was waiting there for me. "Are you alright?"
I shook my head and for a second I could swear Kyoya looked sorry for me. He held his hand out to me "Come with me Miri, my friends could help cheer you up" He was smiling so I tried to smile back at him. He lead me to music room three and opened the door. Inside Takashi, Honey, and that blond boy from the beach were sitting and eating cake.
"Hey! Come join us! This cake is delicious!" Honey yelled to me.
Still holding my hand Kyoya lead me to the table. Honey handed me a piece of chocolate cake on a plate, smiling.
"What happened?" Takashi asked me, he could tell I was upset I guess.
"I'd rather not talk about it"
