Don't Own.

Thanks for reviewing, and enjoy the next chapter.

Penelope checked the hallway outside her room to make sure it was clear before stepping out and allowing the door to shut quietly behind her. She didn't need anyone catching her and wondering why she was sneaking out of her room in the middle of the night.

She headed down the hall, past Derek's and Rossi's rooms, but only stopped when she got to Spencer's. She knocked softly on the door and waited patiently for it to open. Her heart skipped a beat when she thought she heard someone behind her, but when she looked no one was there.

She frowned worrying that someone had seen her but pushed those thoughts away when Spencer opened his door. When he opened his mouth to greet her, she placed a finger against his lips and made it clear that they should go inside.

Spencer let her in without issue, closing the door softly behind him.

Once Penelope had stepped inside she turned around to look at him and ended up staring.

Now that she had gotten a better look at him she realized that he must have been asleep. He was wearing his pajamas, which were creased, and his hair was sticking out to the side. He looked sexy with his bed-head, she bit her lip.

"Did I wake you?" Penelope asked.

"Not exactly," Spencer said "I was in bed, but I hadn't quite fallen asleep yet. My mind is too…distracted to sleep."

"You were thinking about us?" Penelope guessed.

Spencer shrugged, not giving much up "Is there an us?"

Penelope fingered the buttons on her top "I don't know…" she said and watched as a hurt look passed over Spencer's face "but I…" she hesitated wondering if she was making the right decision "I want there to be."

Spencer's sharp eyes met hers "Honestly?" he asked "because I'm tired of whatever 'this' is if you really aren't."

Penelope looked to her feet before sighing "These last few weeks have been really confusing for me. I know it wasn't right to go back and forth between you and Kevin. I was worried that if I explored a relationship with you, that it could end badly and I'd lose our friendship. Kevin seemed like the easier option but it's obvious now that I was wrong. Not only have I already allowed my feelings to mess up our friendship, but it was obvious to me tonight that whatever happens between us will cause our relationship to change anyways, but it doesn't have to be for the worse."

Penelope heard Spencer move closer to her and looked up. He gave her a soft smiled before lifting his hand and tucking a strand of hair behind her ear gently. "I know we can make this work Penelope," he said "I had feelings for you even before the convention…"

Penelope's eyes widened and she looked up at him in surprise.

Spencer chuckled "I never said anything because I was afraid you wouldn't feel the same way, but now that I know you do, I can't just turn my back on that. I don't want to force you to end things with Kevin but the thought of you choosing him over me, is killing me."

Penelope bit her lip again "You don't need to worry about Kevin," she said "You were right about what you said in the car, he has been stringing me along, promising me he'll end things with Amy but just rubbing it in my face instead."

Penelope reached out and ran a hand down Spencer's cheek, she let out a sigh before saying "Before the convention I had never thought of us as anything but friends, it just hadn't crossed my mind…but gosh Spencer, did I ever need that reality check. I am so glad I kissed you that day…I've never felt more connected to a person after a kiss than I did with you. I don't know why I never saw it before, but there's nothing I want more than to give our relationship a shot."

Spencer grinned down at her "That's all I needed to here."

Penelope smiled then leaned up to steal a kiss.

Spencer smirked as she pulled away. His arms wrapped around her body and he leaned in, not missing a beat, his mouth devoured hers.

Penelope gasped and Spencer's tongue took full advantage. Darting in to taste her own, he groaned against her lips. His arms moved down her back to splay across her backside.

Penelope moaned at the contact and got a jolt of pleasure as she felt him pull her against him. Her eyes, which had begun to flutter, flew open when she felt a light jab against her belly as their bodies met.

Spencer blushed, he had a sheepish look on his face when she looked up at him but Penelope just smiled. She was happy to know just what she could do to him.

He began backing her up until she felt something solid hit the back of her knees. She realized it was the bed and the thought that she really needed to get back to her own room passed through her mind until she felt his tongue and teeth nibbling against her sensitive earlobe. Then she found herself allowing Spencer to push her down onto the bed.

Aaron laid the case file he had been looking over down on the table when he heard a knock on his hotel room's door. He stood, walked the length of the room and then peered out of the peephole before stepping back, opening the door and moving aside to allow Dave in.

The older profiler had a wide grin on his face and he was holding a bottle of scotch in his hand.

Aaron eyed him with suspicion "What's that for?" he asked gesturing at the bottle.

Dave stepped farther into the room so that he could shut the door behind him, before turning to Aaron and holding the scotch out to him. "This is to celebrate; our work has finally paid off. I just saw Garcia, about fifteen minutes ago, sneaking into Reid's room."

Aaron raised a brow "How do you know it's been worked out between them, they could just be talking?"

Dave shook his head "Don't spoil my good mood Aaron, if they haven't worked it out yet, well at least they're back to talking but honestly, did you see them when they finally caught up with us tonight. Reid's hair was mussed and Garcia's clothes were wrinkled. Not to mention the looks they kept shooting at each other when they thought no one was looking."

Aaron shrugged "Well I hope you are right, those two deserve to be happy."

Dave grinned "Indeed, now let's get this bottle open."

Aaron frowned at his friend "Do you carry bottles of scotch around with you everywhere you go, just in case we find ourselves in a situation that requires celebrating?"

Dave chuckled "If I could smuggle them onto the jet without bringing down the wrath of Erin then perhaps I would, but no, this is just the best stuff I could find at the bar downstairs."

Penelope sighed in content as she lay next to Spencer, their legs entwined while they stared into each other's eyes.

Spencer's hand stroked the back of Penelope's neck and their lips met with short, sweet kisses intermittently.

Penelope knew she couldn't be seen leaving Spencer's room in the morning if they wanted to keep their relationship under wraps for a little while at least but she couldn't talk herself into leaving just yet.

She finally felt like she belonged. All the stress from the last few weeks had finally left her, she wasn't sure what their future held but there was nothing at that moment that could ruin the peacefulness she felt lying in Spencer's arms.

A/N: There's at least one more chapter left for this story, possibly two. I'll do my best to get them uploaded soon.
